Antonia is the most conventionally attractive woman competing this season. She'll get more "face time" if only for that. Why didn't she win a prize?

Stephanie has done better overall than Mark, but I don't have to taste chicken in peanut butter sauce over mushy overcooked couscous to know that it was foul.

So some weeks the guidelines matter and some weeks the best tasting dish matters, depending on which chef the judges prefer overall. I guess this is to prevent someone like Nikki from winning by being lucky?

Note, It's all a joke at this point. I don't care if Mark used $100 dollars worth of Kobe beef, you can't let the peanutbutter nightmare slide and not lose all credibility on this show.

These last two weeks have torpedoed this shows legitimacy and it's going down with all hands. lol.

I'm actually impressed by how the cooks are handling the kid thing. They all seem to be kindof energized by the idea of this. They could have been irritated by it...

Absolutely incredible observation, rtlily!! WTG.

I thought they'd feel oppressed (rather than feeling OPRAHed) or burdened, but every one of them embraced the challenge!!

Good for them . . . embracing the challenge . . . finally!! (speaking back to the improv challenge)

From her bio it's easy to see Stephanie is a seafood chef. In order to succeed she needs to listen more to her siren of the sea in order to stand out and move ahead.

You've got that right, but for this challenge it might have been difficult, especially when trying to buy seafood at WholeFoods.

I 100% agree. Aside from the judging and the result this was one of my favorite shows. All the chefs were super cool with their kids. Way different than Shrek's opinion of them in season 1.

I'm wondering, too. All of the judges had suggestions for making Mark's dish better--but Tom basically said Stephanie's was completely hopeless and beyond salvaging.

thanks for putting up with my bad attitude tonight (please forgive my foisting it upon you!) and thanks for the drinks Partsgirl!

Best just to get some sleep and start afresh tomorrow...

See you on the Boards then!

So is anyone else shocked that they Jobbed Mark off the show?

I mean how can you possibly justify keeping gross food that can't be salvaged?

I said this at 9:11 AM today and I'm sorry for Mark that the show is this transparent:

QUOTE
I think Mark goes the next chance they get to boot him. He gets along with everyone which is bad news for production. Plus the fact that he worked with Nikki alone and it wasn't a disaster shows that he's too dangerous to ongoing conflict to survive for Wedding Wars. Anyone who could possibly cause things to go smoothly must be eliminated!!!

I love the idea of creating a meal for four people for $10.00.
BUT having them shop at WHOLE FOODS... (the HIGH PRICE LEADER) is ABSURD!!
$10.00 at WHOLE FOODS will in reality buy you $5.00 worth of product.
Take that $10.00 anywhere else you'll get twice as much stuff as you will at WHOLE FOODS!!
Maybe they get a 50% discount for being a sponsor of the show.

$10 at WholeFoods in Chicago will get you a breath mint!!
