Is this show airing on the 24th or 26th? I'm sure I saw a preview that stated the 26th.
It looks like it could be an interesting show... something a bit different. It has to be better than, "Hey Paula".

You're now a star! Well, of reality TV anyway. Congratulations and let's hope the editors were your friends and made you look terrific (like that's hard to do). Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the egos, the attitudes, the temper tantrums, etc...and I'm just talking about your supervisors and not the guests!
Best, love and enjoy.

So....maybe interesting, but WHAT FOOD CRITIC/[expletive deleted] makes themselves known to the staff and then proceeds to "put them through their paces" by ordering an amount of food that only someone with the appetite of a pig?

I think the "Beyond Gluttony" food critics should be ignored should be banned from even imagining that they are legitimate.

Anybody else out there have doubts about the truthiness of this first show? Googling for the International Food Critic "Leslie McElroy" yields nada and Jay Chandrasekhar of Super Troopers fame makes a cameo on the premiere?

I loved the show! The ping pong guys cracked me up and they proved that men nevere really grow up. How cool was it that Jay Chandresekhar was there?

I can see this show being my newest addiction.

Ping Pong Club = bad idea. I can't believe the way people behave at times & how they will show no respect for things that don't belong to them. To destroy a place in the name of fun? Not cool. So many of these guys described themselves as "professionals". What???

I agree that Samir's management style isn't going to win him allegiance from his staff. Why don't bosses understand: the better you treat your employees, the more you will get from them because they will want to please you. No one likes to be intimidated.

I can see myself watching this show every week. The person I liked the most was Michael Twomey.

"Reputable" food critics don't announce themselves OR gorge at the expense of the eatery to be reviewed. But there are tons of piggies out for the "free buffet" and special treatment. I also didn't find bupkiss on McElroy. I think she's an engorged fake.

I was pretty dismayed by the 16 ping-pong morons void of respect for anything at all. They should all move in with the Real Icky Housewives of O.C.… Hey BRAVO, how about a show featuring little-known rich people doing amazing proactive things with their money? Or are all rich people idiots?

As for the staff: Sitting on the floor polishing glassware and utensils? What a sad behind-the-scenes moment for The Parker. Next they'll show a cook picking up a steak from the floor and putting it on the plate.

McElroy is exactly that, an engorged FAKE.. My wife and I watched the show and we sincerely feel that McElroy was nothing more than a Self indulgent has-been or never been Chef that is bitter from her own short comings and feels the need to stomp on people that actually work hard each day. the posts above all reflect this and she has been found out!!

The Ping Pong Guys are fools!! and if its a frat party they are looking for they should try the Hilton, or the Palms in Vegas!! these establishments can best fit there teenager needs.

Either McElroy is an assumed name or she's an actress hired by the producers or she's a fraud who goes around pretending to be a critic. There is not one single reference to her using Google. So if she's a fraud then the management is even stupider than they come across. If she's an actress hired for dramatic effect then Bravo should come forward with this information.

In any case, this show seems completely scripted/planned all the way from the buffoonish management to the silly guests. I probably will not watch this again.

Welcome to the Parker is horrible! I've been in the hospitality industry for over 14 years and this show is a joke. Sure, the guests are comical, but the staff is an embarrassment to the industry! I had to look up the show/hotel online to see if it's supposed to be a sitcom (posed to look like a reality show). I'm still not sure?

The keep referring to the hotel as 5 star, but 5 star hotel managers do not speak to guests like the sales manager, the catering manager and the hotel manager. They're crude, unpolished and inexperienced!

I generally like most Bravo shows, but this one is THE WORST!

I agree with ps_gal, I have been to the Parker a few times and it is a great property, not at all like your "typical hotel". As for the show, I enjoyed it and yes, the ping pong guys were idiots and the food critic, there's nothing left to say about her, but the overall appeal is there for me and I'll stay tuned for more.

I agree that food critic was especially lame - I eman how can you judge food when it is being made especially for you and they know you are a critic. The Critic should have done what the room service people did and pretend to be a normal guest.

As for those ping pong guys - I thought that was pretty funny. My best friend was on a reality show - and the way they edit the show rarely resembles what really happened. There is no way that the hotel didn't know exactly what was going on - and if they are allowing a show to be filmed on their property - you better bet they are complicit in everything that happens.

And did you see that catered dinner that came after the tournament - it sure looked to me like the hotel set that up. No way were 16 guys just thrown in the nicest suite and then left alone. No way. Sure they were a bit crazy - but that's how good guy friends act when they get together. It was a lot tamer than most bachelor parties (ask my husband) and it wasn't like there were strippers and drugs - just a lot of beer and comraderie. The more I think about it - I wonder fi they would let a girl play next time?

You angry people need to calm down and take this for what it was - some fun in the sun.

Yea rocio (the exec. chef), sid, and samir were always gettin on room service about the amount of rings it took for them to answer. 3 rings and thats it... past 3 and ur in it deep. As for the food critic, well, normally no one knew they were coming. and it was never publicized across the property...

also... you guys are correct in knowing yes reality shows are never what the place is in real life. The Parker did have it's crazy guests... like this one bachelorette party was in Mr. Parker's and tried to dance on the table or finding wedding guests hiding on the grounds at night trying to get it on... it can be crazy.
