Quote: From what I have read, Doug got all of what Jackie said, but in addition the problem he inherited from his parents was a brain tumor that developed and they died from this. I think Doug also had developed the condition but am not sure, but that is what some of the people in the know said. If you noticed Doug's face had been showing signs of illness from the first episode, it appeared to me his face appeared thinner. Just what I noticed. Doug will be greatly missed on the show as he always seemed to be the rock that held down the program. He was always kind and considerate and did not seem to get involved in the petty things in the gym. I at least will miss him. The show just will not be the same. I also can understand why Brian had not spoken to Doug (as they were best friends). My best friend and I only speak about once a week. I do wonder why Jackie did not try to get in touch with Doug sooner, but then maybe that is the nature of the gym setting/rules. Who knows, I sure do not. |

I just think Jackie is a mess. Check out this link about her on defamer. I mean really a 40 year old mess. Get a grip. Friday 4/8: The roommate and I are one of a handful of homos who didn't hop the caravan to Palm Springs for White Party...we decide to celebrate by going to the classiest bar on the SM strip: Motherlode. About halfway through a game of pool we spot everyone's favorite lezzie trainer, Jackie Warner from Bravo, looking very VERY [censored] up and dancing with a hot chica (NOT the crazy brazillian). Jackie's femme friend was basically lifting her shirt over her head on the dance floor. Almost saw some trainer ta-tas. Also, Jesse the fat gay trainer was there with them, looking rather portly. Guess that season-long quest to shed some pounds didn't work out. I think Jackie's great. I dated alot after my divorce and I needed it. When you've been miserable for a few years, you deserve a little fun. I don't think a boss should fool around with an employee though. Too many lawsuits waiting to happen. But, Rebecca is a grown up and she kissed Jackie first. |

I really enjoy the episodes where we have a chance to watch the trainers with their clients. I really like the client Laurie who is working with Doug. She seems so genuine. The drama with Jackie's private life is a bit much. I look forward to more on the show about actually working out.

Brian Peeler did quite well with the woman he was working with and acted like a true trainer with her. It's painfully obvious that Rebecca is a "D"-List aspiring reality tv star...not a trainer or a particularly gifted actor. Jackie is as talented as Rebecca. I'm curious as where they came up with the Jesse character. I've heard of "[expletive deleted] Hags", but didn't know they existed for lesbians as well...too funny. Doug was a gentleman and professional from the first episode to his last. I honestly don't think the show can carry on without him. He balanced the hype as he was the "real deal". I wish Bravo TV would bring back "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy". At least these guys did something real to improve the lives and outlooks for others. I honestly believe that they were much better role models for the gay and lesbian community than the immature, over-sexed, unprofessional antics of the Jackie character. |

I wish they'd come up with a diet plan.

Nobody's talking about Doug? I adored Doug, he was/is my favorite trainer on the show. I didn't know that he passed. The show preview hinted that something happened to a trainer, but then today they said something about reaction to Doug's passing. I was shocked! He was so sweet, so kind and it was genuine, i wanted to train there and Doug would have been my choice. I feel so sad right now. What a beautiful person, he had the kindest eyes I've ever seen. And he was so worried about his ex going through his illness. God Bless him.
