First...not yelling, used to answering JMe...second, I only check these boards maybe every couple of weeks...no time...therefore, have to make my comments way afterwards...lol

Guess I just get tired of all the fighting all the time on these boards...FROM EVERYONE...making my point as to how it puts everyone out of joint. As someone has on their postings...about opinions...we all have them and if we can't be respectful, then maybe the problem is more personal than differing opinions??

That was actually the first "fight" this board has ever had, and I wouldn't even really call it fighting, it was just a debate on something disagreed upon. And I do appreciate you wanting to make a point, but I kind of don't think being just as vitriolic is the best way to go about it. If you want to make a point about how fighting is bad, why poke the fighters back into a lather, and why bother to make it personal? Isn't that equally disrespectful? That only makes people angrier in the end, and it hurts feelings.

Maybe because the show isn't quite as popular or passion-inducing as other Bravo shows like TC or PR? Just a guess. Or it could be that today's a holiday, and people are picnicing.

If you want to liven things up, though, why not start a topic and see if that makes things more interesting? Have you checked out the bios of the new chefestants for S3 of Top Chef yet?

Nope. I never called anyone a name. I never called the individual or her "person" or personality into question. I never "made fun" of what or who she liked, and I never treated her like she was inferior for liking or disliking a certain thing or a certain someone. I didn't made it about the poster, I made it about the post, which is something others haven't necessarily done. That's NOT making it personal.

I know there is history between several peeps on these boards. Just because a newer person doesn't know that doesn't make it any laess personal for those involved.

I'm not sure I fully understand. Who's the "new" person? Everyone involved in the argument had been here more than long enough, IMO, and couldn't really be considered "new." Or are you saying that you're "new?"

So, let me get this straight ... by saying that you "happen to own a very large spoon, and stirring the pot is lots of fun," you're actually admitting that you like to instigate things, make fights happen and keep them going? I hope I was just misinterpreting that.

I dont remember you being a shitake starter so your last few post are very surprising to me. I agree with Lia on this one, this was the first "fight" this board had. Not sure who the SOME are you speak of but they need to learn to speak up then cause THEY kept quiet during the "fight."

Only saw where you and Kristy had a little disagreement and others jumped in...know there can be a lot of probs between several on these boards, and as I said, I only check them out occasionally. (especially since these boards are so screwed up...why are they so slow???)
Sorry to have rattled certain cages, others .. shrug..whatever. I remember last season defending IC and someone else...a new person that their comments were blasted by someone who had been here a while...whether someone sticks up for themself or not, I always jump in the melee...usually after the fact...

Both Daisy and Anthony are entitled over Ben, so either one really!! I'll pick Anthony with his experience, and Daisy a very close 2nd; with Ben being asked by the judges, "how in the H e l l did you get here?" lol!! I'm sure he's a great guy, but the confusion on his face with each challenge was more than comical and sad at the same time!! It reminded me of my childhood when after just 3 years of playing tennis, my high school coach asked me to play a match against a more experienced player!! I was terrified, shocked, and almost too nervous to hold the racket!! Ben needs a lot more seasoning and without a doubt, he's the luckiest man I've ever seen on any of the "TOP" productions!! They usually get it right when it gets down to the final!! This wasn't even a close call; anyone else should be there (Tyson, Tabatha, Danna, Dr. B., and even nutty Eva)!!

(Post from a few days ago) - Ben really lucked out!! I don't know why people think he's that great!! He's been skating thru by the skin of his teeth and got that bonus of doing ROCK hair and nailed it thru no skill of his own!! lol!! If it had been anything else to do, he would have been the 1st to go!! .......
