Got my latest TV Guide, the Fall Preview? There was NOTHING whatsoever about the guys in it.
Haven't been hearing from that many fans of the show either....don't seem to be many of "us" in Dayton, OH!

Well, I think I have heard info on about what Thom, Jai, Carson, and Ted are doing...but not so much Kyan. lol


I am enjoying watching Ted on "Top Chef". I am not able to watch his PBS show "Uncorked", however it is out on DVD.

Would like to see all of QE's seasons on DVD....but it doesn't look good.

Thank you for the information on Fab Five. Glad to hear they are all working elsewhere where we can still see them. Especially looking forward to seeing Carson next January, but I love them all and have seen Ted on Top Chef. I wish them all well and although I do understand, I miss them working together.

Well - I have all but given up on this forum... and had not been here in AGES...

I've looked around the net and seen all the fansites shut down - one after another - and was deeply saddened to see even Carson's site drop its message boards... all those great old posts... gone...

And today - I'm flipping past Bravo, only to be completely stunned by seeing an ad for QE's return to the Bravo lineup October 2nd!

They say they have 10 final shows filmed (who knows how long ago...) and they will begin airing them October 2nd on Bravo!

Oh well... even if they're the last, it will be sweet to see the Gentlemen Five again.

Wasn't the Queer Eye pageant show filmed last summer? I vaguely remember them having a live audience. I really believe, that unlike other reality shows, if this series were on DVD,it would sell like HOTCAKES! It actually has a beginning, a middle and a happy end. lol

It IS a shame all of the fansites have shut down. Wanted to do one for Kyan but the other person who agreed to help me bailed out and now she has moved on to where I can't even mention his name anymore. lol Kyan doesn't seem to have much of a fan base himself and I have felt that way since almost the beginning. With the exception of maybe 3 or 4 folks here. jmo

The pageant was filmed in June of last tear, which is a long time, wow. I don't even remember the last episodes to air. I've seen some of the upcoming ones and they're really good, especially one where they all swap jobs -- HILARIOUS!

*cough*The tszuj-it.com fansite is still running, and still updates regularly. It is sad most shut down.

firstly let me state how much i love your show! Being of an age with all of you (cept jai) I cant tell you how much it ment to me to finally see the gay community represented in such a positive manner. The campy and comedic roles that we are usually depicted as in movies, tv, and stage had gotten so old that methusula asked them out. I want you to know, also, that my mother and i hadn't talked for years after i came out and had recently reconciled when your show first hit the screens. normally she will have nothing to do with anything gay oriented, however, she happened to fall asleep on the couch right before one of your episodes and woke up about halfway through. she was giggling and saying who are these guys..... I think through your humor and compassion, intelligent commentary and impeccable style you helped the two of us to heal and move forward together. it is with the greatest regret that I learned you are now on your final 10 episodes. i hope that you happen across this small message and it gives each of you back some of the warmth I found through your show.

Yes, precious, I keep contact with Signladyb, DieHardFan, Phqnumber4, and Raindog - and I have Tomasulo's home snail mail addy... I haven't heard from her in a while, though.

The old guard still exists - even though all the wellsprings we used to play in have all dried up.

We're all planning to watch the new episodes - even though we are deeply sad that they are the last.

Please let us know how things have been for YOU, dear one! ...I actually had a passing thought about all you New Yorkers who experienced 9-11 first hand when that loon Armadinajad wanted a photo-op at Ground Zero... disgusting!
