Max C. really needs to be a headliner and with the Fab Five's help, he'll be one in no time. What do you think?

It was great seeing the Fabulous Five.....after their very long sabbatical. The magic the Fabulous Five still have made the hour disappear. You were missed by all, great to see everyone back.

I cried after watching this episode... The love those two had was unbelievable. AND WOW! what the Fab Five did to their house was unbelievable. I still can't believe that was done in a day.

I agree! I didn't get to watch the whole episode--late night but I saw about the first 20 minutes. I won't comment on the show 'til I've seen it all. But it was wonderful to see the men again in their silliness and compassion.
I want to comment to the gentleman who recently wrote to compare the Fab Five with Paris and Nicole.
I am neither gay nor a man, so I can't comment on your anger. However, I've never seen these men as vapid. Unlike Paris, Nicole and other young women (and young men!) who have become media darlings and celebs for no other reason than their names, their looks, their money--Carson, Jai, Kyan, Thom and Ted are all professionals who have built their reputations using the skills they have studies and mastered. They may be silly at times, even campy but they are also compassionate, sensitive and appear to sincerely believe they are building bridges between gay and straight men.
Cheers, looking forward to finishing the episode tonight.

I know - it was SO exciting to FINALLY get a new episode! For some reason I always have to watch it again to be able to make rational comments, but at one viewing I'll say that I liked it very much. Max and...ummm... HIS WIFE seemed very worthy candidates. (This is why I have to watch it twice. What IS her NAME??? How pathetic.) I also loved seeing glimpses of Vegas. I visited last fall and was very taken with the bizarre surrealness of the entire place.

He can't possibly have a clue as to what "vapid" means. Or perhaps has never seen the show. Actually, it's probably a troll alert.

That was a great episode ((well, when isn't there a great episode? lol)). Those little dogs were adorable! But too many for me..my rottweiler's enough! I must say, Max looked so much better after the haircut and after he shaved.

His wife's name is Joni Max!

I was fortunate to attend her art opening at ghostbar here in Vegas that was taped as part of the episode (I'm the lady in red in a dress of playing cards). I don't have cable, so haven't seen it yet, but am looking forward! Photos from the evening are here: http://subHELL.com/queereye

Does anyone know where to but Joni's paintings? Does she have a website?

Wow, I see this site has a new look.......did it make anyone else dizzy or is it just me?

I loved Max and Joni. It's nice to see the talents and generosity of QE and the Fab 5 spent on people who are so unspoiled and sincerely grateful. They looked like they weren't used to being given anything of such value with so much love thrown in to boot. Highlight for me: when Thom was talking about Max and Joni and said "....your connection is inspiring". It certainly gives us lonesome singles hope that there could be a love connection out there for us somewhere. And as usual I agree with Thom, Joni's art is amazing. I didn't think I'd love this episode because I thought it would just renew my disappointment at not meeting the guys when I was in Las Vegas, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to watch it a gazillion more times.

(Replying to myself like a dork.)
Did anyone else think Max looked like Russell Crowe?
Yulia
I see a little bit of a resemblance.

JONI!!!! DUH. I am so bad with names that I verge on needing my own tattooed on the back of my hand.

Lucky you to be at the opening! That dress was VERY Vegas, and thanks for the photo link. I really liked Joni's art and hope this will catapult her into fame.

I have to say, though, Ghostbar sounds like somewhere you'd find Space Ghost. On the Ghost Planet.

I'm not liking this color scheme either. I think it's really hard to read, and a little madness-inducing.

This is my favorite in quite some time. I really liked Max and Joni, and thought they deserved the help. And I loved how they were so obviously crazy about each other after being together for a zillion years. AND how appreciative they were.

Max did look like Russell Crowe - I knew he reminded me of someone. And I loved Joni's "after" hair - I actually thought she should cut it short, after seeing her with the wig - she's got such great bone structure that short hair would look wonderful - but the haircut she got was gorgeous. She looked ten years younger.

I also think Max looked a LOT like Russell Crowe--but it should be pointed out, Max is funnier, nicer, and has a stable love life, so he's got it goin on all OVER Russell! I hope fame and fortune doesn't go to his (or Joni's) head, since with their talent and great personalities, they're sure to hit the big time soon!

I was also relieved to see the Fab 5 back on primetime TV after a too-long sabbatical (I had to tape the re-runs from the 10am slots while I was working)! I hope they enjoyed their break, and I thank them for MORE great episodes! Can't wait for the rest of the season!

Does anyone know about that cute little bowl Max was mixing the (tortilla? taco? taquito?) mix in? The one shaped like a piggy, in stoneware?? I LOVE that thing--I want to get one just like it! Any leads? Thanks in advance!

What was the song when the Fab Five watched Max get ready on their monitor? Please help!

The lyrics were like, "You and me and the birds and the bees" - but it was NOTHING like the old Jewel Atkins/Dean Martin song. There's also something in there about "happily ever after." I have the complete sound clip from the show, but I'm not sure if I can post it legally and without major hassles trying to find web space.

I agree too, I've never thought these men as vapid!

Everybody is able to see that Kyan, Thom, Jai, Ted and Carson are all professionals, 'cos they really know what they're doing! Of course they have to behave in a silly way sometimes, 'cos they are making the show! They don't wanna give a lecture for the viewers or the straight guys. The show has to be fun. And they are sensitive, they are really building bridges beetween gay and straight men, and they have always tried to understand straight guys!

And when it comes to their sexuality they are not trying to set an example of a gay-guy. They are just five openly gay-men, and the only difference beetween them and straight men is what they do in their bedrooms. They don't bear recemblance to stereotypicals gays. (exept Carson;))

I think that they really have helped many gay-guys to leave "the closet". And the show has really helped many straight guys too; to understand that the gays are just ok.
It is very brave to be an openly gay-man in our sociaty

I have loved the show since I saw the first episode, and I have heard a lot of comments about my taste when my "friends" found out that I am a fan. But that's ok, now I know what kind of persons they really are. Fortunatelly my real friends love the show! I am not a lesbian and I just love the show, period. And to be icing on the cake; the show has helped me too. I have never hated gays, but if somedody pisses me off, I am not going to call him/her gay anymore. And my mom has started to watch the show too and she likes it.

And if somebody hates gays with no reason, he should ask a question: Who am I to pass judgement on other people

I LOVE THE FABULOUS FIVE
neo979
The song is called "Happily Ever After" by Addicted2Fiction. I can't find it for sale, anywhere. I e-mailed the group begging them to release it, though.

Reading the credits is good.
