That's great. Do you know when they plan to show season 2? Where did you read this? Thanks!
inashell
Bravo will replay all six of the Season 1 episodes of Workout on Tuesday, November 21st. I hope you didn't mistake this for an indication of them filming Season 2.
Incidentally, I still haven't seen, heard, or read anything about Workout Season 2 anywhere, and I am constantly searching! Please advise where you got your information...thx!
MiamiGirl
It has been confirmed.
Check out http://www.afterellen.com in best week ever. It says Jackie confirmed the new season will start taping in november on her myspace page.

Good lookin' out, MiamiGirl! You've made my day.

Thank you, Bravo TV. Glad you recognize you've got a winner with this show!

Oh yay!!!!

I loved Jackie's personality and the way she handled things....can't wait to see Season 2!!!

I was at the Farmer's market on third street a couple of weeks ago and mimi was getting some sushi for her and Jackie. All I can say is, if Jackie wants to be abused then it shows how stupid she is. If Mimi is not as portrayed as she claims, then there are major things going on.
Here's the thing, they both are so co-dependent that I don't think they know life apart from each other. If the behavior I saw was indicative of who they are, I would not let either one of them train me for anything.
I think Jackie has issues with everyone, but herself. She claimed to know herself so well on the finale and that she was fine, but in reality she is weak and puts up with unacceptable behavior. maybe if she dated someone her own age, it might work.
angelbear
I am so happy it has been renewed. I really hope Jackie did not take Mimi back. I don't think editing could make her look like she did the things she did if she didn't. Jackie is worthy of much better.
Rnap22
If Jackie took back Mimi, which I belive she did, then I don't even want to hear her complain once about her. If she is that stupid to take her back after the crap that Mimi pulls, then I don't feel bad for her anymore. I really like Jackie, but I can't stand when people put themselves in those types of situations and then complain about it.

Jackie.. Get yourself someone new!

And I hope Jody will be on again this season.

FYI, Bravo's going to air all six original episodes of Work Out on Tuesday, November 21st. Check your local listing for the time.

Can't wait for Season 2...

I was in shock when I saw that there will be a season 2. This was a joke of a show, I can't believe people liked it.

I also thought Jackie and Mimi's relationship was staged. The reason was because remember when Mimi stayed over Jackie's on one episode and in the morning she was looking for sugar in the kitchen? And Jackie said, I don't keep sugar in the house. My feeling is that if you have been dating someone long-term wouldn't you know by then that they don't keep sugar in the house? It struck me as a little odd.

Also, I'm shamefully curious, but is Jillian (the trainer from the biggest loser and co-owner of Jackie's gym) gay?
SantaMonicaGirl
Jackie and Mimi's relationship wasn't staged, but some of the antics and drama on the show was. BTW, Mimi's real name is Milenna Saraiva.
Sabbygirl2000
How would you explain that Mimi didn't know that Jackie would not have sugar in the house? Does that make any sense at all?
Just curious how you interpret that.
SantaMonicaGirl
It wasn't really Jackie's house...no one knew where anything was (let alone sugar), where to put things, etc.
tunisianswife
you're kidding, right? I can't believe they would go through another season of agony with this show. I could never get through each episode. Everything so staged. I am really shocked to think that the ratings were high enough to produce another season. That was a show that got old fast.
Roxy1
does anyone know if there are going to be a new season of Work Out
Nansica23
I just had to put it out there . . . if Jackie and Mimi had a baby with both of there genes, she would look exactly like Shakira. It's soo true!!! Please someone needs to agree with me somewhere out there.

The article also mentions that season 2 of Work Out will premier on Monday, March 19th.

The ads that are running show Jackie and MiMi and Jackie saying how sick she is of it...their relationship I presume. Anyone know if that is an old clip because Jackie..we're sick of it too. It's hard to reconcile such a strong smart woman who stays in an abusive and hateful relationship.
PEELER
We are coming back March 19th it is going to be one hell of a season. There is going to be 8 eppisodes. I wish Doug would have finished the whole project with us he is going to be missed! That is all that I can tell you so just get ready for us we are coming back!

WOW! I just saw the promo on Bravo the other day... TESS IS BACK! And upset about soooomething.

Also, WHO is the hot trainer? Gary somebody?
workoutgirl
yes i saw the promos also, more drama coming i guess. Yes i saw the thing with Tess, i feel bad seeing her so upset. Sooooo please someone answer-WHAT HAPPENED TO DOUG?? any latest news on his death?
PaytonElle
I'll bet Jackie is referring to all of Mimi's drama and how she carries on with their relationship. I cannot wait to see who's (Jackie or Mimi) idea was it to see a therapist. Jackie has alot going for her and Mimi needs to realize that she is either with Jackie to support her and share her life with her or she should choose to find someone else who can give her the 24/7 attention she needs. I've already concluded that Mimi likes the attention and focus placed on her...have you seen how she is always trying to change the converstation back to her?....ugh!

Not a bad show.

I have lost every bit of respect that I ever had for Jackie. For her to treat Peeler the way she did and think she was in the right is disgusting. She should run a professional business and for her to not discuss what happened with his breast cancer client the night before and to tell him that she is not discussing it is not only a cop out, but also very un-profesional. Whatever her personal issues with him are, for her to fire him for this is so childish. Her excuse, that "I wasn't the one who made any comments (about the client," is such a lame response. She should have apologized that his client had to be subjected to such disrespect in her place of business wether or not she made the comments (she was the one in the room, laughing and agreeing with the comments, btw.) Fame has defiantly gone to her head. I really hope that her behavior causes her to lose business and respect.

I have to agree with a ton of people. Jackie is all about Jackie. She is not profesional by any standard when dealing with her trainers. Makes for fun TV but wow she seems clueless about what being profesional really means.

I hope Bravo cancels this show. I can't believe she has not gone over backwards to apologize to cancer survivors. I hope they gine Brian a show in her stead. I was a fan until today.
AZmom
I don't usually post on message boards, but Jackie was so out of line with Peeler, that I just had to comment. She may have issues with him, but she was totally wrong in this case. He addressed the issue of his breast cancer client in a proper and professional manner. He waited until an appropriate time, asked to talk to Jackie alone, and as a trainer, he had every right to be concerned about his clien't feelings. Jackie just refused to talk to him at all. As the boss, she is responsible for ALL of her employees, not just the one she favors. If HE had been the one to make unkind comments about a client, she would have handled it totally differently. Furthermore, SHE should be concerned about the client's feelings, if she wants to keep her business. Very unfair and unprofessional.

I hope not only Bravo cancels the show but that Jackie has to have both of her breast cut off due to cancer as I have and that she goes through a year of NASTY chemo as I have... Maybe then she will think twice before she opens that big NASTY mouth of hers again. mad.gif

I watched last night ONLY to see if Propel and Gatorade held to their word on pulling their sponsorship. I have to say that everything I saw a blurred out Propel or Gatoraid bottle it felt like I was hugging bunnies. Shame on Tylenol for sponsoring them. If Tylenol is really interested in easing pain - they should have let this show be sponsor-less and go off of the air!

Open letter to Jackie Warner since I can't post on your blog:

I think it is really sad that you have to blame editing for your personal flaws. Yes your show is edited to 1 hr but in reality the camera is just capturing you. If your a [expletive deleted] in real life guess what you are going to be just as bitchy on camera so I think it is a really lame excuse to use that as a crutch to not take responsibility for your own actions. It feels like the jackie warner that we first met in season one has long gone and morphed into a self absorbed tyrant with obviously no respect for her staff or clients. You looked even more of an obnoxious ass when you fired Peeler, yeah he was giving you headaches but at the end of the day at least he didn't cause you to lose your sponsor unlike Lisa who just blogged about the incident and acknowledged that she is a flawed human but that YOU did say negative comments about Peelers client. If you create relax work environment and then try to go back and forth between relaxed (say anything) to strictly business it doesn't work like that. You need to get your head out of your rear because its getting you into problems. I guess we won't see a Work Out season 5. Even better I hope we see a Peeler Built Season 1.

A very good friend of mine has breast cancer, and when I saw the Bravo TV show, Work Out, the other night I was horrified.

The "star" of the reality show Work Out, Jackie Warner, was in her office with her assistant where the assistant was making fun of Jamie Eason, a model and a breast cancer survivor, over her breasts. Jackie Warner's reaction was to giggle over the comment. It went on to the point that Jackie Warner fires one of her staff, Brian Peeler, for confronting Jackie about the comments made about his client while she was training at the gym, right outside Jackie's office. I feel enraged on the woman's behalf.

Propel Water has pulled all their ads off the show in protest over the incident. If anyone would like to support the protest, please email Bravo and let them know what you think of all this.

Peeler told about the incident and Jackie's part in it via an interview, and on his myspace page, that we did not see all that went down, that Jackie indeed was spewing hatred (jealousy) at his client, and that he had totally had enough.

Jackie Warner is an evil person and should no longer be allowed to appear on Bravo until she apologizes for her actions and learns how to run a business without creating a hostile working environment.

If Bravo has any brains, they will cancel Work Out after this, which makes me sad because I will miss Rebecca, new Greg, and Erika, and replace it with Peeler work out. Though I've been watching Jacky purposely pick fights and anger her trainers so she can feel powerful all season, refusing to apologise for herself and more inportantly HER STAFF is just poor ownership. She is the most unprofessional person on the show.
I loved Jacky is season one, ignored her in season two, and now I see a despicable person.

Lisa needs to graduate high school, get a personality and realize that begging for acceptance makes you a horrible person. If she weren’t so desperate for Jacky to love her she wouldn’t feel the need to maliciously strike out at strangers.

LOL that was some quick editing to blur out Propel

I wish that they woul cancel work out! Jackie Warner is digusting & she does not know how to run a business . This women needs a lesson on how to be professional also she should of never fired Peeler. He was only coming to Jackie to talk about what happen with his client. As for her assistant lisa she is a sick & disgusting women who is jackie pet. She starts to much between jackie & staff! I want to know where Jackie got her from becasue she needs to let her go before she won't have a business anymore. Further more how could they sit in her office & make negative remaks about a client but not only that a client who is a breast cancer survivor. Then don't make a public apology! This show is digusting & to me its not about training its about who sleeps with who!

As a registered dietitian, I have some knowledge of fitness training and have worked with many overweight, obese, and morbidly obese individuals. I was glad to see that Jackie brought in a physician this year to assess with her SkyLab clients, but also think she is extremely lucky she hasn't seriously injured or been sued by any of them to date. Her overly aggressive and strenous bootcamps are highly inappropriate for people who are extremely overweight and/or have been sedentary for extended periods of time; her nutrition advice is questionable at best and, as far as I can tell, not based on any solid scientific principles; and given her actions and behaviors, the fact that she even attempts anything approaching therapy with these clients is borderline malpractice. Jackie clearly has an inflated opinion of what she and her staff are trained to handle on a professional front. I honestly fear for the health and safety of her SkyLab clients and hope they are able to make positive changes in spite of her questionable approach.

I believe she has clearly shown this season that she is more concerned with promoting herself and her business than with the well-being of her clients. Never have I known a responsible medical/clinical practitioner to think physically pushing someone to the point of vomiting is an acceptable practice. And, while I love most of her trainers (they are far more likable than she is), I was disheartened to hear them criticizing the clients at the beach getaway bootcamp for not trying hard enough, being victims, making excuses, and particularly, as I believe either Jesse or JD stated, having more respect for Shannon after she threw up and kept on training. I would venture to say none of these trainers have had personal experience with being overweight and thus are lacking compassion for those that are. Yes, it appears some SkyLab clients are dealing with some of those issues...which is to be expected...and they should be addressed appropriately with a counselor or mental health professional, not by a fitness trainer. In the meantime, somewhere on the boards it was suggested that the trainers -- including Jackie -- should have to wear a "fat suit" for a few days and should even have to go through a boot camp in one. I wholeheartedly agree with that idea...not just for them, but for anyone who works with obese populations.

This show is terrible! I watched it last season (occasionally), but I just can't gag it this time around. Here's what the show is about:

Skinny people clinking glasses together and going "WOOOOOOOOO!!!"

[cut to]

Fat people crying

[cut to]

Skinny people making out

[cut to]

Fat people grimacing in pain and looking like they might die

[cut to]

Gratuitous lesbian makeout scene

[cut to]

Fat people crying

etc..

Seriously, they can just cut all the "dialogue" from this show and have a montage of 5 seconds of each of those scenes for an hour, or however long this garbage drags out..

And sorry, but Jackie has no class! She's mean too! She's so far gone in her ego trip crusade, it's like a psychological illness. Really.

And you can't push morbidly obese people like that. She refuses to accept the reality of the physical limitations of people in their condition. Can't they work their way up to that kind of workout in a healthier way? I really think she could be doing irreparable damage to some of them. Plus after her, they're going to HATE the process of getting in shape. They're being aversely conditioned against exercise.

Sorry such a hater, but this show is just poor. I liked Jackie last season, thought she made some poor choices in her personal life, but overall thought she was a good, strong woman and role model and businessperson and all that. Now she's just taken it too far. I think Bravo takes a lot of these shows too far. I start out liking them, the characters on these shows, but then they get so meta-into their whole "role" they play that you just get tired of them. It becomes like some sort of self-parody.

I wouldnt go as far as this person but I have to say that Jackie should have fired that obnoxious black girl for making such a horrible joke especially since she comes across like a little miss perfect tattletail. And shame on Jackie for being such a loser by handling the situation so poorly especially when it comes to such a sensitive subject. She comes off very smug and unprofessional and like Dog Chapman she shoud be removed from this network for her insensitive nature and overall lack of apologizing to peeler who was handling the subject very professionally, if it were me I would have torn her a new a-hole as well as that obnoxious black girl. But I'm not surprised by her self hating straight girl hating nasty nature that is quite common with lesbian women. Shame on Jackie but mostly shame on Bravo for not canceling her show, if it were a man that did this like ZDog Chapman he would be fired already.

I am keeping the last three episodes of WO on my DVR so I can contact every single advertiser to express my disgust at how JW and her assistant treated Brian's client. That is the kind of junior high school girl crap that we cancer survivors put up with too often. She has shown her immaturity, enormous ego and the attitude that will aid her plummet from the top. This episode actually made me cry, because I had gotten some emotional support and workout tips from watching the show. Once I delete the DVR episodes I will never watch it again, nor will I purchase anything associated with JW. What prompts people to be so awful to other human beings? Isn't there enough pain and cruelty in the world for them??

The show and its concept could be salvaged if Jackie and Sky Sport were dropped and a new trainer was highlighted starting their own business. I suggest that Jesse Brune would be a good candidate. A series focusing on Jesse would be a lot more entertaining and provide some amusing drama of the good variety. Think of it as "my fitness center on the d-list".

Jackie Warner is not just an embarrassment to lesbians, or gay people in general, she is an embarrassment to human beings. Somebody throw a bucket of water on the soulless witch and let's be done with it.

My main concern about this show is Jackie, to my knowledge does not have an advanced degree in anything related to training. What are her qualifications besides these quickie schools some personal trainers go to, and suddenly, they are experts?

My personal trainer has a Master's Degree in bio mechanics and is getting his Phd in exercise physiology. Am I comfortable with him training me, and knowing the ins and outs of the various injuries I have sustained over the years? You better believe it. I'd rather have him with his real expertise than someone who got certified in a matter of weeks.

Again, what are Jackie's qualifications? This year, the show is more all about Jackie and her company. It's pretty pathetic.

Oh, as for her assistant Lisa and that horrendous comment she made about the breast cancer survivor... Totally out-of-line. That brown nosing wench should have been fired immediately. Such a comment was inappropriate regardless of the fact the woman is a cancer survivor. It was rude and obnoxious and shame on Jackie for not only giggling, but not firing that office spy on the spot.

Work Out is now DELETED from my TiVo recording....Im really surprised the camera can even fit Jackie's big head in the lens...from 1st season to now...boy how a lil money and fame can make somebody's head grow!!

She claims with the breast cancer comment that she "didnt say anything"...guess what JACKIE?!? THATS A PROBLEM!! as the saying goes.."if you are not part of the solution...you ARE a part of the problem"!!!! NOT saying anything is JUST as bad or WORSE as saying it!!!

You FIRED Brian...but NOT the brown Nosing snitch assistant???? WHAT is wrong with that picture?!?!?!?!? Jackie tryin to bag another straight chick maybe?? just another notch on the bedpost maybe...I dont care what people do in their bedrooms but YOU put your dirty laundry on display....its YOUR fault..too bad if you dont like bad responses.
She "CLAIMS" she wants to correct what was said? (which Ive only read this via 3rd party...NEVER heard it from Jackie's mouth) I have a way for you to correct it.........

GET BOTH MY BREAST BACK! and bring my husband back who couldnt handle any of the sickness that WE went thru....Bring my daughter's childhood back that she barely had any of...pay ALL of the medical bills..bring the YEARS of my life back that I missed back to normal ...THEN.... MAYBE THEN...it might be corrected....but...I doubt it

PEELER fan here.....Brian...chin up babe...ya didnt do a THING wrong!! and Life will reward you for that...just stick to it!!
A PEELER PAYBACK show....I would definitely watch and support!!
