Wow - talk about inappropriate. You must have battery acid in yours.
Way to trump "inappropriate" with "inappropriate plus," MrSmartyPants. Salt in the v***na won't win many woo-ers, but vinegar in the vas deferens won't exactly make you the voters' choice either. Seminal oceans of congrats on stooping to a level you seemed to be valiantly trying to avoid, but only succeeded in stepping in venearally.

Could be but I totally understand that as a single woman who can't find anyone interesting or attractive enough to be with. Anyone still available who might be interested in me is usually overweight and/or bald and/or divorced with kids. I will never be someone's second wife and if I'm not attracted to the guy, I'll never feel anything. Who wants painful sex where you feel more like throwing up? No thanks.
Ive not kept up with this thread but since I cant sleep I decided to catch up on my reading.

This is a competition.. so who cares... it's down to the last couple...Even Laura was probably secretly thinking "Good, if he goes...then, I don't... I think you are right: A final with Michael (who puts a lot of thought in his designs and understands the female form really well), Uli (whose style I absolutely LOVE and that includes the clothes she herself wears-and she is from Europe,so am I, so I am a bit of a chauvinist here *grin*) and yes Jeffrey (who has taken quite a few risks and who, if he could let go off the built-up anger inside of him and think before he speaks, could actually be one day as big as super-excentric Gaultier).
The attitudes and personalities of the designers and their behaviour towards others may or may not be pleasant, polite or even civil, but nobody said this was a Miss/Mister Congeniality Contest...
Here is to looking forward to tonight's episode....

I'm behind, catching up via reruns. Can't say how the designers stack up to those in seasons past, but Vincent is a FRAUD!!! The nervous break down he had when he first attempted a fashion career must have been related to his inability to design clothes! I cannot believe how long he lasted. Also, he was a complete JERK during the "Fit for a Queen" team episode. Angela's annoying and talent-free herself, but she got a bad rap that time. Vincent couldn't commit to a sketch or an idea. Come to think of it, he never did. He'd just make the crap up as he went along. Not good leadership or teamwork on his part. He didn't communicate with Angela, allow her to help, give her any input, and he was annoyed with her for having the nerve to ask him what his vision was (since he had no vision, it must have been difficult to explain!) Also, Vincent kept accusing her of stabbing him in the back which is hard to understand since she kept telling him to his face that she didn't like the dress and she wanted to be more involved. A good team leader is not the BOSS, he's supposed to have a vision and include everyone on the team in helping reach the vision.

I think the best two are Laura and Michael - they are so fashion right-on! Either of them should win. As for Jeffrey - I don't like him - he is too mean. Someone nice and sweet should win (and someone who knows fashion). His fashions are too way out there.

I wonder what Vincent has to say this time? The last time he got kicked off the runway, he said "he thinks he's the only real designer in the bunch " ( Oh yes, he said Bradley too )
He sure got nailed when he defended that awful shrug that he made for Javee...What a relief he's finally TRULY out - I love how kayne Chugged that glass of champagne after they've been told that Vincent and Angela will be in contention again...lol

Kayne will be missed, he's really funny, he's creative and artistic in his own way, I wish he'd been in the final four though - It'll be nice to see a collection from him ( remember Kara Janx...she had a collection too during fashion week )
It's really getting exciting especially now that Jeff and Uli are "almost" being categorized as a one note designers, they both have to come out with something beyond their design realm to please the judges...exciting!!!

I agree... and I really liked his cocktail party dress, although he should have thrown some white piping along the seams or something. He clever, witty, and only bitchy when it was truly warranted. (I also appreciated that he's a confident gay man, but not a drag queen a la Scarlett) His exit interview in EW was funny and sweet.

True, the three you picked are the most likely to be the final three. Michael is definitely in the final 3. Jeffry (Geoffrey?), though I haven't liked his stuff lately, has been at the top a lot, so I think he's likely in. Between Laura and Uli, while Uli has a very unique (pretty) style, Laura's more tailored look pleases the judges more. I'd like to see Uli and Laura both in the final, and Jeffry gone, but seems unlikely.

Just checked the gettyimages site. Although, I like micheal. I see Uli winning this. She had more variety. Laura's was too dark and upscale, Jeffrey was just plain Whack!
It's between Micheal and Uli: Yet, I personally like Uli's more.

And I also agree. Michael has integrity and I'm hoping he wins in the finale'. It was so gallant of him to try to mentor Kayne re: Kayne's cocktail dress. All of his input was SO right on and Kayne was his competition! I like Jeffrey, not crazy about his designs but he is talented. Still think Michael, Laura, and Jeffrey would put on a fabulous show at Fashion Week. And a 'hello' to all my fellow Louisiana gals again. Leila

I already posted this on TWoP, but I thought I'd share it with the Bravo boardies as well.
I think that Angela is writing her own lexicon, inventing or using words that mean something very different to her than to anyone else.
Angela must have read Through the Looking-Glass and taken it to heart. Witness the following:
"`I don't know what you mean by "glory",' Alice said.
Humpty Dumpty smiled contemptuously. `Of course you don't—till I tell you. I meant "there's a nice knock-down argument for you!"'
`But "glory" doesn't mean "a nice knock-down argument,"' Alice objected.
`When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, `it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.'
`The question is,' said Alice, `whether you can make words mean so many different things.'
`The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, `which is to be master—that's all.'"

I don't think so. Jeffrey hasn't shown any friendship toward anyone since Allison left- and she is the same as he is on the inside. He never says anything nice about anybody else. He does that "Santino eye-roll" whenever anyone else gets a compliment on the runway- which you can't see anymore because now he hides his eyes behind those Elvis glasses. I don't remember seeing him offer anyone any advice and in fact remember him saying something like, he doesn't care about anyone else, this is a competition, yada, yada, yada. It may be a competition, but comments like that reflect on him as a person and may cause some people to avoid working with him or hiring him. In season 2, that woman from Fashion Week who spoke with the final four said that she "couldn't stress enough the importance of being nice". Jeffrey isn't nice.
By the way, in what context would "I don't care if he gets hurt" be taken in a good way?

I don't think its honesty. If he was "brutally honest" he would tear himself down for making an 80's rock "donnie and marie" dress in episode 10.
I just find it odd. He is ok with anyone he doesnt consider a threat. He was on semi peacable terms with Laura, until she won the last challenge, then he started calling her a one-note designer. I don't mind brutally honest people, except when they are only brutally honest about others and think they themselves are perfect.

I guess really its all in the eye of the beholden? Not sure if that is the right word, but you know what I mean.
I still think he is not very nice to his competition and he has interpersonal issues. He seems to dislike assertive women, (Laura, Angela, etc) and goes for the quiet feminine type. Being a bit of the Allison/Uli type, I have met guys that are like him. He is sort of alpha male

You can't expect anything more from quite a few people in this country!! Someone will always be an apologist for bad behavior!! It's never their fault; they had a bad childhood, "I had a mother that was withholding,", quack, quack,......quack!! lol!!! Why can't someone just be an idiot, a jerk, or just plain evil?? One day we'll all take responsibility for our actions; NOT IN THIS LIFETIME!! lol!!

Thank you very much Writing english is much easier than speaking it. My tongue absolutely refuses to speak english sometimes Although I am told my accent is pretty low key compared to some Uli is one I can hear her accent.
I cannot hear if Heidi speaks with an accent, to me shespeaks perfect english. Except when she says "I think that looks very spensive for 100 dollars" Is it true for an american that she doesnt have an accent?
JAYCIUM: I make it a point never to criticize USA when I am here because I love Americans and they question themselves a lot I think. But this is a worldwide thing. You are right! Nobody takes accountability for their actions. I am out of touch with things because I was raised in an orphanage/girls school. They made us pay when we were bad lol When I was 14 I went to a tennis academy and there it was different, the kids had total freedom, but if they messed up, their tennis suffered, and there were coaches and tutors there who never let you forget it. And really its hard to forget this when you are down 0-6, 0-6 to someone that you used to beat regularly but you partied too much and they didnt.

To me, Heidi has an accent, but Uli's is stronger. I had a German roomate, so I know a little, like how to count to 20, how to say "no meat, please" and "too drunk too f*ck", stuff like that. lol I was told by my Spanish teacher in high school that I have a Castilian accent when I speak Spanish! My pronounciation and vocabulary are great in Spanish, but my grammar is terrible! (sometimes in English, too) lol My grandmother had a degree in French, now I wish I spoke French, too!

When I was a teenager, my parents said "If you want freedoms, first accept responsibilities". Still works for me.
I did pretty much what I wanted as a teen, but I had earned that freedom.

sorry i've been out of touch--yes i said vincent and angela. the marc jacobs show, to me anyway, was full of baggy, dumpy looking dresses and boring neutral colors. i didn't really see anything that remotely flattered the female figure, and it just looked plain sloppy. that was my general opinion of v and a's work on the show. in fact, most of the fashion week shows i caught were trotting out some pretty useless clothing. even our (not) beloved MK had some pretty style-less pieces in his show. so i figure the designers who got the boot for being tasteless (go to work for imitation of christ), sloppy (marc jacobs is your man), and unflattering (try tracy reese for this one) have, IMO, a future in fashion if these guys are anything to judge the future by. how do people get so famuos by making clothes SOOOOOOOOOO ugly?

100% agreed. I stoppped watching when they cut Allison. Especially because they kept that mildly retarded Vincent character around. They seemed to think he was their 'bread and butter' as far as interesting characters to watch... yawn! They play the whacky trumpet music as he's staring blankly at his work going through his 'special' 'creative process'. dumb! Alison had a consistent and original vision and she always showed more strength of character under the pressure than pretty much all the others. (Also, she's super-cute! -- Heidi jealous? ) I know they couldnt possibly have cut her instead of Vincent based on their work or their performance. They must have only kept Vincent in longer because they actually thought his personality was more entertaining. To me, he's just goofy and annoying. I went to art school with plenty of whacked-out untalented loons like him, who only go into artistic pursuits, not because they have any vision, but because they're too flaky to do anything else.
Just wanted to let 'em know I stopped watching after that bad choice, it seemed like a sham!

I liked Allison very much as well, and I totally think you pegged Vinnie right on the money! Unfortunately, in that challenge I don't think it was close; Allison did a bad job early on in the competition, so she had to go. It's clear she has talent and may be going places, but there comes a time when the judges have to look at what's in front of them aside from any general estimation of what a designer "might" be able to do. For instance, in the last challenge (Black and White) I think Jeffery would have been in serious trouble (as he should have been!!!) if Kayne hadn't had a complete mind-freeze and not used enough white, because it was clear the judges preferred his design to Jeffery's. Would I have liked to see more of what Aliison could do in this season? Yes. Hopefully she might have shown more of her range than what I've seen of her designs since, which are not all that encouraging.

Most of the designers are really good but Vincent... are you kidding me? Allison could have won this season and I really think she should have at least gone to fashion week. anyone agree?

I can still remember Jeff yacking away he was going to win a 3rd challenge with that "hooker" outfit he created!! How can you call that a cocktail dresss in any concievable way?? He'll get away with being a jerk because the show needs an antagonist and drama queen!! He's so lucky to make it to this point!! Rock and roll has little to do with glamour and style as far as I'm concerned!! Allison should still be here!! I too felt Heidi felt threatened!! You was so cute and softspoken!!

Jeff is pretty irritating but honestly I don't think Allison had a chance to show what she can do. Vincent should have been auf'd in that challenge instead of Allison. I would have loved to see her spread her wings.
Judging by her collections online, Allison does have a way to go before she is ready to win PR IMO.

Man Jeffrey pisses me off. He constantly has to say something derrogatory about what others are doing. He was paranoid saying that Angela tried to get him kicked off and she never did anything but respond to his constant negativity. He's one of those people who twists things around to fit his own psychotic perceptions. He needs to shut up and mind his own business.

my prediction is that Michael will win this season. I am confused though. WHo are the final three? The website shows Jeffrey, Ully, Laura, and Michael at fashion week. Someone told me that they always take four to Fashion week, but just cut out the one who didn't make the final three. Anyway, I am confused. I guess I will find out tonight.

Jeffrey "Dawg" Song.. (sung in my best Elvis voice to the tune of "Hound Dog")
This aint nothing but a contest-
a contest of design!
Jeff aint nothing but the true best,
and that's not just a line!
Jeff aint never killed nobody.
but he made some mother cry..
Heck, Jeff just got too stressed
to make a plus dress in a day.
Now Jeff should have confessed,
not put a dog on the runway!
Jeffrey couldn't make her jacket,
and Darlene just had to cry..
This aint nothing but a contest -
a contest of design
Jeff aint nothing but the true best,
and that's not just a line
Jeff aint never killed nobody,
but he made that mother cry..
Now Jeff's in Trou - ble
Cause they say he didn't sew
All of his Run - way
Well, the truth is I don't know..
Guess, I'll ask Mr. Jeffery..
And just watch if his nose grow..
This aint nothing but a contest
A contest of design
This season's a test case..
What to do if he is lyin..
Jeffrey beat some lethal habits
And I hope his star will shine..
