Angela, what is that mess you were showing? If my kid's teacher dressed like that, I would pull my kids from that school. Also, Kathy Griffin would have been the perfect guest judge, having just gone through a doggie fashion show on her own program.

Episode 3 was great! I'm still not sure why I love this show so much. I don't sew. I have no taste in clothing. What's the opposite of a fashionista? A fashionnada?
Anyway . . . someone will have to explain to me why Bradley was in the top 3. I mean, I was happy he wasn't booted. He seems like a nice guy. But how was his outfit better than Michael's or Kayne's or Laura's or Robert's? I just don't get it.
Speaking of Michael, we need to see more of him. He's not getting enough airtime.
The dogs were wonderful. Jeffrey was right . . . they looked like the designers (for the most part). Especially Bradley's.
I was happy Uli won. I thought her dress was beautiful. I wasn't that fond of Alison's outfit, and I couldn't figure out why she'd put a white jacket on a white dog. The jacket was adorable, but you could barely see it.
Angela. Sheesh.
I felt a little sorry for Katherine, but not too much. I still haven't forgiven her for not sticking up for Malan last week.
Kayne and Robert are still adorable. Jeffrey's getting better. I actually liked his outfit last night. If he hadn't made that feminazi comment in last week's episode, I'd like him a whole lot more.
How embarrassing is it that I've watched (parts of) the episode three times now?

No kidding, thought I was gonna hafta contact Jonathan Strange and make him make a board appear for this ep!This show really cheated all the other good designs....we barely saw the creations! And I grow tired of the misdirectiontechnique of throwing in a character who wont lose but totally ignoring the one who will....Didnt even notice the hem until it was brought up by Vera Wrang....No mention of it earlier....And other designers?Fageddaboddum!Bonnie?Who she?Kayne,he slipped thru the cracks....Michael,coulda phoned his dress in for all the screen time he got,but wasn't his concoction sublime? Did love Tim Gunn and the dogs though.Very cool.Still, cant stop lovin' those designers of mine....

Katherine went to save her own hide. It's understandable though not noble. Malan was far more noble and fell on his sword. I would have rathered Angela went because we all would have avoided looking at that monstrosity she made. Malan would have made a MUCH better piece.

Oh please, do not kill my with Kathy Griffin! I sat and watched hours of her show trying to like her and I just can't stand her. If I had to hear one more time, I live in a 3 Million dollar home I was going to puke. LOL I just don't find her funny at all. I thought Ivanka did a great job.
I also do not want to hear about a hairstyle from Vera Wang again. Geez, I have always loved Vera Wang fashion but I am starting to rethink that lol.

ok...please dont get mad at me for posting this in two forums...this one hadnt appeared when i was starting the first one... ill get better i promise...
Ok...i just saw episode 3...and i must say (even though some of these topics may have already been hashed)...
have you all noticed that for certain designers, how they dress themselves is seriously reflected in the stuff they design for the show... and believe me when i say some of them turn out fabulous..and some of them are real disasters... Good example- Alison- she dresses in good taste, shes modern, pretty clean, yet has her own point of view and originality which is what she presents on the runway (which they dont pay too much attention to)
Bad example- Angela (for the love of GOD lose the bubble skirts!!!) ok so yeah she dresses in bubble skirts, cowboy or some other type of boot and some god awful top.. and other not so fabulous combinations... and that lack of taste is definately demonstrated in her work. ok i did like the first challenge but thats about the extent of it.
i liked Uli's outfit...yea it does look the same in terms of the construction...but c'mon..she takes risks in when it comes to color/patters (you know...someone who kinda claimed they were into color and patterns and actually USE them!) and fabric choice and they turn out really well!
and i totally agree on the fact they dont focus enough on like Micheal or Bonnie or Robert or Alison...theyre good and pretty drama-free (which i personally like in a designer) even Katherine got the short end...
and finally...WHY ISNT ANGELA GONE YET!?!?!?!?! yes...her presence has made me mad for the second week in a row....
until next time... *waves*

I find it really odd that Michael's designs get absolutely no notice from the judges. He really knows a woman's body.
I understand the comparisons to Chloe in that respect, but I think as a man he is more sex appeal whereas Chloe's work is more sweet.
Katherine's elimination made no rhyme or reason. Her design was vanilla on the model, but certainly not on the accessory - the dog. Most people barely made a mark on that part of the challenge.
It's obvious that while Angela may be technically gifted, her taste level is in the toilet. She should've been gone, but is being allowed to stay because she's unlikeable. That's just reality t.v.
Very talented bunch of individuals this year. I think it's easier to state who is weak than who would be the top three.
Weakest of who is left: Jeffrey, Bradley, Kayne, Vincent, Angela.

Also, Kayne said he and Robert became buddies right away because they cracked each other up with their jokes.

Oh, I do hope you're right. Michael has produced some of my favorite outfits. I loved the coffee-filter dress from the first episode. And because Laura's dress was my favorite of the pageant ones, Michael gets credit there. Last night, I thought his dress was sexy without being in any way trashy.
I can't even remember which dog was his, though. I mostly remember the back of his dress, which was stunning.

I don't think Malan deserved to be sent home for that dress. The client also told them not to use white, but that is exactly what Michael and Laura did and got no criticism from the Nina for not listening to the client. Vincent's dress also accentuated the model's breasts - something the client asked them not to do, and again, no criticism.
Everyone knows Angela should've been gone.

OMG the little hat on Vincent's dog was freakin adorable!
Uli's dress was fantastic, and Michael's was also beautifuly made. (I understand that it's pre-taped) I had my fingers crossed for Bradley, poor guy. He deserved another chance to get it together. Jeff's loved, Ali's liked, Laura's liked also, hmmm Bonnie...boring. Keith...just reminded me of those drapes he was talking about before, maybe if had been a different pattern or color, but the design was nice. Angela, Vincent, Katherine, don't care for. But like I said before, the hat on Vinnie's dog was too cute. Robert and Kayne, liked, liked.
Great show though, loved those little guys! They're were so cute, and I'm not a little dog fan, really. Except for the Boston Terrier, love those.
I honesty think these are some of the best designers ever.
If they could just get past the idea that some challenges are beneath them, they knew what the show entailed of when they signed on. Just get over it and create something amazing.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one who is irritated by Vera Wang and the hair comments. I understand when the models hit the runway it has to be about the whole package but come on. Speaking of the models, is it me or is Kayne's model just not really walking the way models are suppsed to? Last week she was "walking" and smiling and looking at the judges. Every time I see her on the runway I keep expecting her to blow a hip out of whack.
Laura likes the fur, so what? At the very least she can be versatile. I am tired of seeing the Uli design week after week? I mean, yes her choice of fabrics is innovative but that shouldn't be all there is to winning should there? Make a new freaking dress for pete's sake.
Angela is going and I can't wait for the axe to officially drop on her. Vincent? He is just another one waiting to get booted. The hats have got to go.
Keith is a piece of work. I love how he shows up and thinks he is the greatest designer and didn't do anything to really complete the challenge. Yes, his dress was great, but he didn't do everything he was supposed to. (Just think of Top Chef and Dave in Vegas not making that third dish....he was robbed) I loved how Ivanka said she wanted to look at the tapes to see if he really had created anything for his pooch. RIGHT ON!
I would have to say Tim Gunn is right, these designers are really good. I can't remember who posted this but picking the bottom three is going to be easier than the top three.
Can't wait for next week.

She's on the show for the kook factor. She can't even style herself on t.v. in front of millions. Even some people whose styles I do not appreciate still look put together in their own way. The accessories were better styled than her in this episode. >:)
