I'm so upset that Alison's gone... was anyone else just waiting for her and Jeffrey to get together? I'll admit he's an ass, but I like him anyway, and he looked really affectionate towards her.

and Angela needs to go, completely agree that she has no taste whatsoever. ditto Vincent.

Alison showed Jeffrey's redeeming side. He seemed very tight with her from the last challenge. He definitely respected her ability, too. Of the remaining female designers, I don't think he'd been nice to any of 'em. He's not the badest dude in the world but he definitely has a bad side that's prominient.

Yea, um Jeffrey is with someone and has a kid. I highly doubt he'd get with Allison

Yea true, so I vote that this robbery was equaled out from michaels robbery of winning challenge 1. what the hell, un-innovative bedsheet dress over extremely innovative coffeepot filter dress. sigh, i dont know about these judges
seamonkeywater
Um.... i though Jeff has a kid and a "wife". (non married).

I just watched last nights episode and I am shocked and applalled at the judging(just like everyone else here). I was thinking "Finally that crazy nutjob Vincent is out of here". When they called out Allison I nearly fell off of my seat! Watching the show at least twice a week for the past three seasons(I swear I have a life) I have never seen B. f'in S. like this before!! I am so angry. I hope that Allison conquers with being a designer and shoves it in the judges and producers dumb, vincent loving faces. What is it about Vincent? Every week in the bottom! Vincent must be the next WENDY PEPPER! God help us!

Boy, at least 50 people tonight have proclaimed that they will never watch this show again.

Face it, you're emotionally invested in this show. And, you'll watch it next week. Secretly, you know it is true. Bravo knows it, too. They've done a good job of setting the hook and are now reeling you in.

I think this season has been masterfully constructed, filmed and edited. The proof of the pudding is that we are all so into it much earlier this season than in past seasons. Bravo to you, Bravo.

you are probably right about being invested in this show, but i really do think if we orchestrate a strike for next weeks episode then maybe they will learn a lesson. how hard is it for us not to watch just one episode? weakness is why tv execs know they can make these kind of decisions. lets not let them get away with it.

Get away with what, exactly? You may not have agreed with their decision regarding Allison's pouf skirted, parrot-shouldered chubby dress, but the judges did have a reasonable basis for it.

I never react to these episodes with "he wuz robbed" or "she wuz robbed." Each time, I can see why the judges auf'ed the person. So long as they had some reasonable basis for their decision, that's fine with me even if I might have disagreed with their conclusion or my fave just got hosed. I don't think the judges are being arbitrary and capricious, [expletive deleted] to ratings, or puppets of the producers. I do see integrity in their decisions. Somebody has to go each week. It is what it is.

All this forehead slapping, bodice-ripping sobbing and emoting is really amazing to me.

Heidi...........is that you??? LMAO

Too funny!

Angela's passed? Liked her last 2, don't get me wrong, but she made her model look like an extra concubine from the '80s film Flash Gordon. Seriously, WTF? Was that purple armor? Was she sending her model to fight off a galatic army of drag queens?

Priceless!

I vote everyone shut up about vincent being on the show still, at least he is being creative. Now LAURA, needs to go home, I swear if i see her make another garnment that she has already worn I will hurl.
eyelikepr
She made a coat. She helped with Angela's design. She did pants and shirt to update Hepburn. She did a dress like she wears (that's the only outfit that looked like something she has worn).
Kayne makes costumes and Jeffrey seems to be joining him

Apologies to 'Smoke Gets In Your Eyes"

They asked me,how'd I know
That her pearls were Faux,oh oh
So I grinned real wide
said 'She's got Issues inside'
Her car's leather is Naugahide...
They said sometimes 'class is blind'
but u can't fake refined,
crass you outta hide,ohho,
When your think you're Trump,
instead of just his pump,
Crap gets in your eyes....

If PR wants another spin-off, may I suggest Project Rhymeway. With Raymondo, FF1, et al., "we'll have a gay old time" (strike up Flintstones theme).

Overture,curtains,lights,
FF1 in Vincent's tights.
No more retressing the tresamee chick,
Jeffrey will be a d**k!
Iron Chef will sing a song,
Dressed in Uli's velour sarong...
KSBoy,while wearing the vest from RobBest
will play Laura's xylophone-like chest....
DCJewBear will dance up,you bet!
Completely covered in florettes...
(oh well,there's more but...)

Is it possible to laugh and barf at the same time? I'm laughing out loud at this poem while feeling slightly queasy at the idea of being in Vincent's tights!
Atiekay
Just want to point out that in the Road to the Runway, they said that Kara Saun has been designing some of Heidi's outfits for PR. Remember the poufy shorts of a few episodes ago? Classic Kara Saun. A lot of these looks seem very Kara Saun to me. But then, I always thought she was overrated and her clothes somewhat costumey and over-the-top.

Another point - I did not read all the way to the end so I apologize if I am repeating what someone else posted - but was anyone else completely creeped out by Vincent saying 14 times how he "got off" on his dress? He even said it on the runway. He is a FREAK. And his personality is so affected and put on it makes me nuts!

I've been a PR junky since season 1 and I totally agree with the comments that the judging and the editing are much more geared toward drama. That is unfortunate since the thing that drew me to PR was that it was about people with talent. (Except Vincent and Angela) I do not watch the shows like Survivor that are just about people with no talents scheming. PR showcased true talent. And I think this group for the most part is the most talented yet. (Except Vincent and Angela) It is a shame that is being overridden in favor of "drama" and "personality."

Finally - Love Laura and Michael! I love how different they are and how well they team up. Love them together, love them individually.

Sorry it's long. This is my first ever post and I had a lot of pent up stuff to say.

Well, despite my dissatisfaction with this epi, I have to say that Uli continues to be one of my favs.

I hope that this epi stops the talk about her being a one stitch wonder. Her dress was gorgeous. That silver and white braiding was beautiful.

One more thing, Vincent still sucks big monkey butt.

Actually, the irony behind that statement after last nights posting is so funny...because Vincent potentailly has a monkey butt....

No, that would be a stunt butt.

This was the most disappointing show ever. First off, I think Jeff's design was extremely appealing and very different...it was the one dress that could be remembered. I can't believe that Alison was kicked off. Kayne's dress was horrific as well as Vincent's. Kayne's dress was an eyesore and was a mess. Alison's dress showed innovation. I think that the judges had a really hard time with Alison's dress because they thought it made the model look fat. So apparantly in this world it is worse to look FAT than to look like last night's "leftover" keylime pie wrapped in aluminum. I can't even pay attention to Heidi's comments about the "plus size" thing. Afterall, she thought Vincent's dress wasn't the worst----now that's crossing the loony line! Alison is a talented designer who has always shown promise....but her past outfits weren't even considered!!! Yet they considered Kayne's past work when scoring his atrocity....so so so so disappointing!!!

Actually, the only thing missing from Vincent's catastrophe was the little garbage mobile hat he designed for her,it moved around her face,so she had to follow it when she walked. It had little pieces of trash hanging from each section....

Like a cat following a string....

dude i totally agree with you about heidi. sometimes i think she doesn't really understand english that well and that's why her comments are always so weird. like how she'll say random things like "it looks like you just found a homeless man to sew you a dress and then he exploded and he was made of jelly beans and it got all over your dress and then a cat came and sat on it and that's your dress." i'm like 'what?'. i think heidi needs a reality check. also that one outfit she wore at the beginning of this episode was really ugly.

Here's a good game:Make up Heidi quotes about the challenges.About Vincents outfit:'It made me want to have a Vinegar and Peanut butter enema, but I want one in every color....'

OMG! That is hilarious!

Hi katie - I thought it was weird, but attributed it to his age. He's from that era where that was the cool thing to say. He probably thinks Lou Reed is the ultimate in cool (well, so do I, but I wouldn't say something like that) and instead of just saying "it's sexy" like we use for everything from clothes to shoes to marketing campaigns, he uses "get off."

Just goes to show that he is TOTALLY stuck in the early 80's - and all his clothes are a reflection of that. I dig the 80's - loved the fashion then for sure, but he could try to update it a bit. Not everything has to look like an exact reproduction from 1982.

On another note - I was quite bothered that Tim called Allison's model "zaftig." WHAT? so not fat - just bigger than the other anorexics. jesus. I'm glad he's gay.

I am sure this has been discussed somewhere in all the pages of comments on this episode, but after listening to an interview with Alison about how shocked she was to be eliminated, it was very apparent in the episode. Did anyone catch her expression when they announced Vince was in and she was out? For a second she registered shock.

"Unfortunately, by losing Alison BRAVO TV loses the demographic of normal mainstream professional women's audience who were actually interested in the substance. "

OMG! Are you people serious? ROFLMAO. If you want substance go open a book, read the NYTimes or watch PBS Frontline.By the way I have done all three and still find time while waiting for a cab to look at the Enquirer. Pop culture folks. There is not SUPPOSED to be any substance here!!! Not one single person in 3 seasons has taken off as an actual designer and MOST of them have made a small cottage industry off their connection to the SHOW. Appearances as former contestants, blogging on other sites, interviews and commentary on the current season etc. Not actual fashion. Not even the winners. NO ONE any where is wearing their current mainstream readily available clothes. It's a TV show. A TV SHOW. I spend over $10,000 a year on clothes (actually if I start adding it is way more) and if you think I will stop watching any Bravo because they kicked off a 23 year old sneaker wear designer who made the fugliest paper dress ever you need to get a life. It's a TV episode. Each one judged each week. No points from the week before! Worst one that week is supposed to go. To sit there in Iowa and make remarks about how dare Nina judge clothes and what do these people think and I am BOYCOTTING Bravo. I cannot get over what you people put passion into. "I am a plus size women and how dare Heidi....blah blah blah." WOW. Put that much energy and passion into getting UP from the computer and you might NOT be. Insults as to who is a 'newbie' poster and all. I guess I should stop being amazed by now but it is even more interesting then the show.

This whole culture that has grown around a silly entertaining TV show...Heidi Klum you are gorgeous and SMART like a fox!!! You go girl. Fabulous business choices.

I will continue to watch and enjoy and will save letter writing, boycotting and screaming at people over things that really matter in my life. Starving children in Africa maybe? Cliched as it may be but where is the Darfur message board. All you people screaming about writing to Bravo-when is the last time you wrote to one of your political representatives about something that effects your REAL life? I did last week and it's a good thing. Lol. You may claim that what is going on in Africa does not affect your life but you know what. Nina picking Michael over Jeffrey does not affect your life either!

The board has jumped the shark this season. When did it go from juicy silly commentary on a silly TV show to people LOSING THEIR FAITH IN HUMANITY. Lol. Love it. I enjoyed making snarky commments once a week on each episode. But when I read what people are saying and the fighting and name calling. Wow. Time for a little show called Reality Check.

Ya know Gabe, Ive chosen to ignore you since you decided to put a target on my back but this post is pure BS.

You somehow feel the need to preach to us about saving the world, opening books and to get a reality check. Hello? We watch the same show and post on the same board. Hear that? Its Reality Check knocking on your door.

Why on earth would you tell us you spend $10,000 or more on your clothes per year? Big freakin deal. Im not impressed by how much a person spends. You cant buy class.

Why do you care if we put so much passion into the show? Are you the moral police? People can put passion into whatever they want. So what if they are in Iowa or anywhere else for that matter. What, only people in NY get to judge fashion? Why the refference to "who is a newbie poster"? Point out one post with an insult because someone is new in this thread.

Be as snarky as you want but check the tude at the door. Hope you got a huge pooper scooper for that high horse you sit on cause the [censored] getting deep.

I guess so, FF1. I respect your opinion and your seniority on this board, but I don't think that crappy outfits are always the ones to go. And I don't think it is always the common denominator for auf'ing. Again, consider Santino's lingerie. Not flattering. Santino was often accused of not designing for a woman's form, and was kept on until the bitter end.

"Seniority on the board"? Whaaa? That doesn't give my opinion any more weight!

I do agree with you that Santino's lingere was hideous, but Daniel F's was boring, elderly looking, and something you could find off the racks. I believe that Michael Kors was solidly in Santino's corner because he detected a truly powerful talent flailing about looking for a voice. Santino was such a huge and stubborn talent that they literally didn't know what to do with him. But I believe that Michael Kors was convinced that, if the judges could help him channel his powers, Santino would produce electrifying fashion. Santino is toweringly talented and should kiss Michael Kors' toes every day for the the hairsbreath breaks that kept him in the game until he could get it through his rock-hard head that he needed to harness his talent and his attitude and just do it.

None of the other designers in this season even begin to come close to Santino in terms of personality OR true promise, IMO. I see Santino as a once per century original. So, I see the comparison as apples and oranges. He really was a special case.

I totally agree about Santino. We won't be privy to what happened behind the scenes, but the dancing in the workroom, the Tim Gunn impersonations, all of it endeared him to me. Then watching his visit from Tim...Santino grew up here in my home town. I can almost guarantee he did not mix well with others; he probably was beat up alot and from the sounds of it didn't have a good home life growing up. I don't know any of this for sure, but usually when people act out like he did, it is a scream for attention, love, whatever.

He is an amazing talent. I don't always get his vision, and would never wear it in a million years (it really would look bad on this size 22-24 bod), but the fact that he pushed it every week and then had a beautiful show at the end that was amazing. He learned (whether he would admit it or not) from each challenge and had a show that showed his growth over the course of the season.

I noticed that too - I'm disappointed she was let go, but I really didn't think she'd win. Maybe the final 3, but not the winner.

I also now know why my fiancee makes fun of my lisp. It's exactly like hers!!!! That was scary.

Anyway, now I think the final three will be Michael, Uli and probably Kayne (if he doesn't self-destruct). I really like Laura and I really like Laura's style - but I see her making the same thing over and over.

V-neck, high waist, plunging neckline (dress or coat, doesn't matter). I like the style a lot, personally, but I think the judges will eventually figure out that she's a one-trick pony. Especially cuz she makes the stuff that she WEARS!

FIRST OF ALL THIS IS NOT THE EASIEST WEBSITE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE. SECOND AFTER TONIGHTS PROJECT RUNWAY I'M SECOND GUESSING AS TO WETHER THIS SHOW SHOULD BE AN EMMY AWARD WINNING SHOW. NOT ONLY DID THE WRONG PERSON WIN BUT THEY SENT THE WRONG PERSON HOME. THEY MADE A COMMENT ABOUT KAYAN MAKES GOOD CLOTHES A BUT THAT SHOULD OF BEEN USED FOR ALLISON AS WELL. VINCENT SHOULD OF WENT HOME HES BEEN IN THE BOTTOM THREE MORE TIMES THAN ALLISON WHICH WAS HER FIRST TIME ON THE BOTTOM THREE. IF THEY ARE GOING TO USE A "BUT" THEY SHOULD OF FOR ALLISON. VINCENTS OUTFIT WAS THE COSTUME TONIGHT MORE THAN ANYONES. IN MY OPION THIS REFLECS ON WHAT THE JUDGES SEE AS STYLE AND THE FACT THAT THEY WOULD RATHER SEE PEOPLE NOT ABLE TO WALK THEN HAVE A BOW IN THEIR HAIR. LAST SEAON SOMEONE WENT HOME BECAUSE IT WAS STIFF AND THEY COULDNT WALK IN IT WELL WHY IS IT DIFFERENT THIS TIME? I THINK THAT THIS SHOULD BE THE FINAL SEASON OR NEW JUDGES ARE TO BE SELECTED. FORGET NINA AND MICHAEL THEIR TIME IS UP. THEY DONT KNOW TASTE ANYMORE AND I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING OF MICHAELS. AFTER WHAT HE DID TO DANNY AND NOW ALLISON. I THINK HE IS IGNORANT, STYLELESS, AND NEEDS TO GO. VINCENT SHOULD OF LEFT PERIOD.

Please stop screaming at me. You're making my eyes deaf.

[I bet I'm typing this in the wrong place to respond to a quote, but here goes anyway...I didn't like Jeffrey's design much at all...after watching the re-run this evening, I came up thinking that Laura and Robert had pretty dang nice ones. Of course I think that Michael is great and he'll end up with a career from all this, but that dress Robert did was pretty good. I can't believe Vincent didn't go with that goofy Twiggy dress and such exaggerated eye makeup that she looked like a voodoo doll or something - that was awful. I agree with you all about Santino as well. He did have the "I'm smarter than you" attitude that Michael mentioned. But I think that's because he does have this fantastic talent - clearly an artist. I'm sure he recognizes it himself. I personally think that to some extent, his skills were way beyond the challenges on runway - that's why he tried to make them into meta challenges. It was like he was assigned a 5 paragraph essay and would start writing "The Sound and the Fury" to show its meaningless-ness.

Unfortunately, he forgot to speak to his audience and play the game - but he'll still go far, I think.

I heard the interview and am trying to find it again, I got the addy from this board somewhere.

I personally did not think she was nasty when she spoke about the other designers, she was giving her opinion. She spoke about how she saw the designers fashions. I did not feel she was that nasty, mean or cruel. She did not tell someone to stick Harry Winstons up their nose.

That is in my opinion one of the meanest things Vincent could have said to Laura. It referenced one too many things in Laura's life that should not be important to anyone. Could it be that he is jealous of Laura because she did not have to cash in her 401K? He was referencing that, her wealth, her mouth as of late, etc. I know it has been stated that he can not handle stress. That was a good example of that. Vincent can not stand to be critized in any way by anyone, that is insecurity. I laughed at the expressions on Garcia and Kors faces when Vincent took them on. Very few speak back to them. As I said in a previous post I think they got a taste of what happened when Vincent and Angela worked together on that gown. Personally I feel this program reveals the worst and the best in people, and it is edited for the "Drama Effect."

PR also lost another loyal viewer. I love the show, but kicking off Alison was so obscenely absurd, I literally, will not be watching the show anymore -- & will bad-mouth it from now on -- it's absolutely ridiculous -- so ridiculous, it pissed me off so bad that I actually am commenting on this damn board which I never do.

If Michael Kors can state that Kayne can make clothes (god, did they drop the ball w. that god-awful pagent dress, which made her look horrible if anyone did watch Miss Universe) & not take-in consideration Alison's past amazing outfits & Vincent's bottom 3 outfits, the show is a complete joke, really. It's all about the BS drama & not about the "actual" talent. Alison was/is the BEST designer there for her vision, overall innovation & complete look -- & now she's gone.. I like Uli & Jeff so "hopefully" one of them will win.

Michael wins again -- loved the Pam Grier outfit, the recycle outfit was nice but not innovative enough & stale. Using clear plastic as a wrap is not so innovative. Jeff stained paper, used an odd but beautiful color scheme & was completely innovative. Plus, it was the only outfit on the runway that flowed -- the draping was incredible.

Kicking off Alison was the WORST thing I've seen on this show outside of Angela's & Laura's nazi attitudes & Vincent's kindergarden outfits -- the show now, will carry on, as a piece of crap.. good job judges & producers!

I have to agree with absolutely everything you've said. If the producers thought eliminating Alison would help increase viewer status, i think it did the complete opposite, in my case. Bad choice on their part. I came to watch the show because of the great talent and beautifully crafted garments, which is absolutely NOT what Vincent makes. Jeffrey and Michael, and partial to Uli and Kayne, are the best designers left, being that I like more edge and NON boring, plain, and elementary pieces (cough Laura the dinosaur & vincent the caveman) to my style. I don't mean to diss but that episode has made me lose all repect and interest. It's all karma.

Let's talk about the bottom three;
This week we're aghast and do agree
The judges' decision was really tough,
Three quite bad dresses made it rough.
A stunning bomb by two of three,
and one effort that's a mystery.

Kayne's gown was just a lime green mess
Made worse by his model's laquered tress.
He admitted that it really stunk
And whined about having to sew this junk.
The judges nearly barfed, you see,
But Kayne's talent squeaked him through home free.

Vincent made a tall white hash
of a gown with stripes and oddball trash.
He sent it down the runway slow
The better for this confection to show.
The judges flinched involuntarily;
Why they kept him, I don't see.

Allison made a yellow gown,
Not one you'd wear around the town.
With poofy skirt and wrinkled top,
A strange and sculptured marshmallow frock.
With MInnie Mouse hair and thicker waist,
Her model added to the distaste.

All in all, quite a difficult task;
Who should the judges continue to let bask
In the glory of the runway light
For another competition night?
No matter who they chose to go,
Many fans would cry and scream "oh nooooooo."

Wouldn't want top be in their shoes;
The choice that faced them could only lose
The respect of fans of the booted one,
This time the decision was hardly fun.
To have three people on the floor
As candidates for out the door.

Have mercy on these poor, fine peeps;
They did their best, knowing they'd face heaps
Of criticism from the many folks
Who think their decisions are just jokes.
They're doing their job, it's just a show.
Lighten up, it's just fashion, don't ya know!

Bravo from the Essex House!!!

As much as I intensely dislike Jeffrey, I do have to say I thought his outfit was better than Michael's. The judges just have a thing for him (Michael) I think.

I didn't care for Jeffrey's attitude when he lost. Yeah, he's somewhat talented, but he's a jerk.

Also, his "madonna" outfit? not innovative. It was a freaking bustier and a skirt. BFD.

very clever FF1 - glad I took the time to read it.

No, I'm alone. I like to come over in my riding habit and look at all the legendary faces, while I dine. A large-toed woman showed me to a very nice table this evening.

JUDGING AND DISCLAIMERS

Has anyone caught the disclaimer flashed on the screen at the end of the show? I only saw it briefly, but it looked like it said something about the producers having a say in who wins and who loses. Does anyone know what it says?

Not as painful as your grammar and spelling though. Honestly darling I've never responded or made a post directed to you so why are you bothering responding to my posts? If I'm such an embarrassment and you don't care about what I write then why bother using the energy to type? How about putting that extra energy to proof read before you send. Usually if someone is annoying to me and I don't have a reason to converse with them I ignore them like I'm about to show you.

My question is why are you here at all? You're a rude, elitest bore whose only purpose in life seems to be to make other people envy your fabulous lifestyle. Color me unimpressed.

Now I will do what you advise and ignore you. It will be done in a casual and glamorous way though.

Basically it says that the producers have final input on who stays and goes. Translated - it's a competition for who is the best fashion designer, but they are also interested in keeping the show interesting. They did the same thing on TC, but the judges TRIED to say that the producers never told them who to keep and who to let go.

that was a big whatever.

it's probably why Allison went and Vincent stayed (although I'm sure he's not long for this world and Jeffrey will take his place as annoying jerk du jour).
