times like that you wish the show workout didn't exist. i loved the back to back PR they used to do. that way you can catch everything you missed the first time around. and we could all sit and chat about what we thought as it happened.
anybody have suggestions for a beverage for tonight's show? i made singapore slings last week (recipe out of gourment) and they were revolting. champange is the fall back plan (as usual).

I, for one, looooove martini's! Classic and all of the new 'flavored' martini's out there. Williams Sonoma has a vanilla martini mix that is wonderful! They also have vanilla flavored sparkles for the rim! Pair it with a vanilla flavored vodka and Y-U-M!!! Careful, though, these don't even taste like alcohol so you could end up imbibing more than you think!! LOL

Ok, I go away for just 24 hours and everybody's been squabbling again? Geez.
LegendaryFace, your insistence on displaying a superior-than-thou personality on this board is unacceptable. It is unbelievably rude and inconsiderate and, notably, is also horrifyingly gauche in the social class in which you "claim" membership. You should have realized by now that any post on this board is fair game for any or all the other posters to respond to, dump on, etc. If you persist in desiring to have conversations with only a few people on this board, kindly refrain from using derogatory terms to the others who think you might actually be worth responding to. You seem to take any opportunity you can to trash others, even when the other poster is clearly just trying to be friendly. Your behavior is stunningly bad, and having all the wealth you claim does not obviate the need for good manners in everyday dealings. Others on this board who are extremely wealthy do not disclose that fact or make only discreet references to it if context requires, and are here to enjoy the company of others. Would strongly suggest that you immediately adopt some good manners here. However, if it is your plan to continue to be odious to others, find another board.
And everybody else, for the love of God, don't let LegendaryFace get your gizzard. It is one thing to give her the opportunity to play nice, it is quite another to be goaded into responding in kind to her stream of put-downs and insults in like manner. Just ignore her, and I mean REALLY ignore her, as Noteveyas suggested so elequently the other day. If she craves attention so much, she'll wise up. Nobody can be expected to extend her the friend of handship forever if she persists in crapping all over you, but please hold those irritated replies, as they just appear to give her what she craves and reinforce her putrid behavior. While I have been concerned that anybody who clearly is that needy for attention might have other, very serious issues, I can't ask everybody to forbear and be shat upon repeatedly. There is a limit, and LegendaryFace has just zoomed right by it.
We really don't need to be "enablers." If she craves attention but doesn't have the simple decency to be polite, then give her what is the death knell for her -- exactly nothing at all.

OMG, I love paella! It's such a great dish for a dinner party! But, anyway, I don't have a recipe with me but go to allrecipes.com. There's a recipe there called Sangria! Sangria! that received 5 stars and rave reviews. It's a great recipe-swap web site where 'real' recipes by us 'real' folk are shared, rated, & reviewed. The reviews offer additional suggestions for tweaking the recipes. I love the site! Good luck with whatever you serve!

Once again, insults before brains. I did, in fact, read every word of it. And you brought it on yourself. "Get a life [expletive deleted]" in response to Noteveyas, the most senior, intelligent, and thoughtful poster on this board? Do you honestly expect people to treat you well in response when you act so awful? And not caring about others' feelings is NO excuse.
If somebody does trash you, don't inflame the situation by re-trashing them back. You just make it worse and perpetuate the bad feelings others are developing for you. Rise above it. Or, if you must respond, try to control you temper and not belittle and insult the person further.
It's too bad you take pleasure in trashing others and causing them pain. Sorry, but I don't excuse your behavior. You've just lost about the only defender you had on this board.
And if you truly believe that having money excuses you from being nice to others, how sad for you.

Actually, I respect everyone here. No one really knows each other. I could tell you I was a millionaire living in a mansion or I could tell you I work in a factory and live in a trailer...wouldn't really matter b/c who really knows? I know who I am and my 'social status' in the world and that doesn't make a bit of difference on these boards. My point was that LF was letting this go...I meant along the lines of she's taking the high road at this point and you're just perpetuating things. I just didn't think that was like you. Anyway, LF could be a zillionaire or not, I really don't care. It's just the bickering about nothing that's gotten really annoying. Can't we just all get along!?!?!?!
