What was with the "stick Harry Winston's up your nose" comment?
Who says "Stick diamonds up your nose"? That makes no sense. What a whack job.

very good point. everyone is so obsessed with the fact that he meant diamonds, we all forgot to ask what the heck that was supposed to mean.

He sees Laura as being someone who would even pay money to buy some overly priced diamonds and use them as nose jewellery.

It's like saying: Up your bum with bubblegum to someone who's rich enough to afford HW jewelry.

Why didn't he just say "Nanny, nanny bo bo, I'm still here!"

If only he had--

I agree. NONE of us know how they edit this. So we have no idea why Laura and Vincent were at each other. Obviously, it was put it in for viewing becuase it was nice and catty but we can't act like we are there and we know what's really up. I favored Laura's dress but nothing really wowed me tonight. Everyone is talking about jumping ship because they don't like how so and so was robbed but--Come On!!--you won't. It's too much fun to watch!
trusca
I don't know what the goal is behind keeping people that are blatanlty untalented, as in the case of Vincent or Angela. It's very clear to everyone who watched tonight who deserved to go, and for the fourth time on PR, the producers have made a considerable effort to keep those pawn pieces in play. Why? Explain it to me? Isn't this a talent competition?! I can't bare to watch anymore. Tonight was a disappointment in many ways, mainly because as a viewer and fan, one feels played by the system of ratings and non-sensical TV bruhaha that I find disinteresting. As a graphic designer, I watch with intent. And I find it insulting when anything other than talent and fairness is used in judging. I mean, you used that sense when selecting these people? I saw! I know what deserves praise, and so can the rest of America. Listen up! Watch yourselves. YOU LOOK STUPID! Keeping people for reasons that have nothing to do with talent is simply going to make you lose your educated viewers. For the integrity of the show...have some sense! You're going to end up with another undeserving winner because in the elimination, you've weeded out the people that trully deserve it. There's was no justice tonight.
FashionPookie
I'm a dress SIZE 6 so I guess I'm a fat-ass in Ms. Klums soul-less german eyes. Correction, shes not soul-less just very dim and annoying. She should really thank god, allah or whoever for her "good-looks" because without them she would be nothing. I mean she is a good model but what does she really contribute to the show?

Please don't hurt yourself trying to make sense of Vincent. Remember that a basket on his model's head was too plain and it required cheap plastic silver crap dripping off to make him fall in love with it. Also remember that his dress "got him off" several times during this show. Oh help.

What were they thinking? I too am a first time blogger, but it took my breath away when they said Allison's name. She is so refreshing with her designs, and Vincent is horrible. What a poor decision based solely on ratings! Boy is this going to backfire, because I for one am finished with Project Runway. Especially after the Plus-sized model comment.

Tim has echoed most of our opinions here. He questioned Alison's auf-ing and he hated Angela's and Vincent's outfits.

Well, despite my dissatisfaction with this epi, I have to say that Uli continues to be one of my favs.

I hope that this epi stops the talk about her being a one stitch wonder. Her dress was gorgeous. That silver and white braiding was beautiful.

One more thing, Vincent still sucks big monkey butt.

Dont get me wrong Im not her greatest fan by any measure. She makes very safe designs and manages to sail to the next challenge. But, I do wonder if she was trying to defend Allyson (in her own snooty way). She might have fallen victim to bad editing .... like the promos for the next up coming episode. Not sure if anyone else ever caught this but the promos are edited poorly and are peiced together. You'll see a gasp then a face a comment made bya a judge and of cource to make good TV its not what happens what so ever in the show.

It's not entirely up to the judges to decide who stays and who goes. The produces have a say in that also, it says so in the closing credits. Tonight Heidi used the word barely when she told Vincent he was in. She used that word once before, when Malan was let go. She said "Angela, you're in, barely" It seems obvious that Heidi uses the term barely, the producers had the final say about who stayed and who left. I agree Allison's dress was better than Vincent's, but Vincent makes for better viewing, so does Angela and Laura. Those three are always causing some kind of conflict. That's a big part of the reason people tune in.

Did you notice how they kicked off the two brunette girls that were probably considered to be "plus size"? And now they kick off Alison without giving her the same benefit of the doubt that they gave to Kayne? Michael Kor's comments about Kayne feels like a guy's club kind of comment that Alison could not benefit from.

JEFFREY WAS ROBBED, THIEFED, PLAYED. IT'S LIKE THERE IS A CURSE ON HIM.

No curse.

Just his pissy attitude that has begun to precede him with judges who are NOW showing complete inability to judge objectively and apart from drama and politics. It may not be fair, but it is how things work in the real world. You piss everybody off with your superior ugly attitude and it does come back to bite you even if your work is good.

One of the consultants to a previous season's designers told them that the single most important key in the NY fashion game was to 'play nice' and 'get along' (to which, Santino bristled and looked a little nauseated). I'm not sure Jeff is even capable of doing this outside his own subculture.

Effective Immediately:

We demand the swift and harsh removal of Heidi Klum and her taste (such taste I would designate as bad, but cannot bring myself to even give her taste that much credit).

If you are addressing those comments to the Executive Producer of Project Runway, that would be Heidi Klum.

HYSTERICAL!

But I will mention that I saw what I assume was a rerun of "Who Wants to be a Millionare" with Heidi as a celeb contestant. The question was about a designer who won a gazillion awards for costume design. Now I don't consider myself any kind of fashion expert or showbiz expert, but I knew the answer was Edith Head, and Heidi didn't even RECOGNIZE the name.

Made me question how much fashion background she has. Aside from wearing it, what does she know about history, construction, design yada yada. Prior to that I gave her more credit. Now I wonder.

Yes, Vincent's dress was a sack with trash all over it, but if you looked carefully, the lines of the gown were exquisite and the bodice was quite arrestingly cut. In real cloth without the trash doodads, this gown would have been worthy of Laura, Michael, or Kayne. The judges do see something in him, it's just hard for us out in TV land to see it as well.

I really think he is this year's Santino. Maybe he will surprise us at Fashion Week and have a great show. Most of Santino's stuff was really awful, but he had a vision. I guess Vincen't has a vision, I just think it is out near Pluto or something that no one else can see.

Cute!

I don't think it's so much a gay club thing, if it was Malan would still be around. I feel it's more of a kick off the quite ones, the ones who don't participate in the on-camera conflicts or the talk behind someone's back bull sessions.

Someone should put a "kick me" sign on the back of Heidi's outfits...that would make great television drama!!!

I'm plus size and I think it's silly for a plus size person (or a normal size person for that fact) to watch a show about runway fashion, where the models are usually size 0, and get sensitive about body image. Of course it's outside the realm of real women, but being able to flatter the female form is pretty much imperative one of being a designer, regardless of the size you're designing for.

Bravo honestly shouldn't have to tiptoe around and pretend that "excess" fat is universally attractive in the fashion world.

I get the feeling that next week's challenge features models that are bigger and may even be the designers mom's. Something about the way Angela reacted like she knew the model. That would be interesting.

These replies about Heidis comments are getting a tad ridiculous. So lets summerize shall we?

If that model looked plus size, then Heidi is morbidly obese.

yet I myself, im not skinny not fat. Ive got a tiny waist, but i am aware how one certain cut can make my tiny waist look extremely wide and it completely ruins everything.

also, we are NOT seeing this from their prospective [as in IN PERSON].

but still Heidi needs to stfu.

and i also think its unfair that one week someone will win because of a certain style and design then the next week someone will get completely ripped apart by the judges for the same thing. EX: they say somethings are just too plain "a blank canvas" if you will, but then Micheal wins and the judges love his dress because it was SIMPLE.

excuse me? this is wrong.

I don't think the posts about Heidi's comments are ridiculous at all. We all have a right to our feelings about what goes on, on the show. This just happened to offend some people. Her comments just kinda played into how I personally already feel the fashion industry treats women who aren't a size 2..like it's a sin to look a little heavy......Heidi could have made her point without making the plus size model comment. She could have just said it didn't flatter her models figure. Not to mention it wasn't a good enough reason to kick Allison off the show. Vincent's model couldn't even walk in her dress....

I, for one, am tired of going shopping for clothes, and the nice fabrics, and good looking fashions seem to stop right at the large size sections...I laugh at some of the fabrics that are used for a simple blouse. It's like the minute you gain a few pounds, you don't have any taste. It's insulting.

If anything, she was sticking up for Alison. After all, Vincent should have gotten the boot. I would have yelled at him, too, and maybe shaken him by the shoulders until he got some sense.

I think Michael and Uli will be in the top three. I'm not always thoroughly impressed with Jeffrey's designs, but his execution is good. I really like Laura's designs, but yes, she'll have to branch out or they'll auf her like they did Austin Scarlett. Kayne is pretty good, so he's in there for a possible 3rd or 4th finish. Alison's designs were very good and I'm upset they didn't give her the benefit of the doubt tonight.

I think Michael is going to win the whole thing. I hope!

so what are u saying, allison should act like an idiot to stay? daniel and chloe never acted in such a manner and were in the top 2. last season the judges act like "oh santino is so preposterous and hideous" and yet they keep him around til the finals.im surprised they didnt keep keith around, but then again they probably purposely casted him because they knew he would be scandalous.
i say if allison got booted for entertainment factor then keith should stay for the entertainment factor. vincent is by far one of the worse designers ive ever seen. i feel itchy just looking at his designs.they look so old, unflattering, and unwearable. take them to the dry cleaners, they probably have 30 years of dust penetrated in them.
bad_judgement
I think that this episode was an all-time LOW for project runway. Kicking off Alison instead of Vincent was a HUGE error on the part of the show and the judges. Alison had a large following of fans... and I truly believe that Vincent lacks taste and talent. Vincent should have gone, got his 401K back, and let a young girl have a chance at living her dream. I am beyond disappointed in the show at this point.

i don't understand how someone of so much obvious intelligence, taste, sophistication, and integrity as Tim can continue to associate himself with what has become a train wreck of a show. maybe he's contractually obligated, but after what's happened this season with vincent still there week after week while more promising designers have gone home... i don't see how he can stick around much longer without seriously compromising himself.

I wouldn't get too upset about Heidi's comments. One should never lose sight of the fact that she is there because of her looks, not her brains. She is never paid for her brains, even if a judge and I have often thought it odd that no one complained that she was a judge.

I believe Heidi of Project Runway, was one of the originators of the entire idea is one of the producers, and owns a piece of the action.

dont get it twisted....you really think she "was one of the originators of the entire idea".....shes not that smart....there is a reason shes a model

There is also a reason why she was once a poor girl in Germany and now an extremely rich woman in the US of A. Hello, are we trashing "dumb blondes"? I don't think she qualifies.
