OH MY GOD! I am so angry with Heidi! "Would I rather be a fat Minnie Mouse?" What the heck was that? And then next week is about an "everyday woman?" Come on. NOTHING on this show is about the "everyday woman." As a plus size woman, I am personally offended by Heidi's comments. Does Heidi not know that the "average" woman wears a size 14? I actually wish they would do an episode using plus size models - not 400 pound women, but real size 14-20 women. We are sexy. We want fashionable clothes that flatter us. We are women with real boobs and real hips and real thighs and real curves. And we have quite a bit of money to spend on quality, fashionable, flattering clothes.

Allison's dress was ugly and not flattering on her model, but she didn't look FAT. She looked like she was wearing clothes that were not fitted to her body. But if she'd taken off that antenna-like thing from her model's shoulder and that stupid fake bow-tie hair, I think she might have been ok. BUT Allison has proven talent, vision, design and construction skills.

Vincent on the other hand has some serious issues that may be better suited for a reality show based on "One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest." I don't understand any of his designs. And he can't lead his way out of a paper bag and what he did to Angela in that episode was dispicable.

Vincent should have been booted.

Now I have to comment on Laura. Why is she always running around in F-me-now stilletos and those cut-down-to-there dresses that her breasts (unaccompanied by a bra - ALL women over a "certain age" should wear a bra, and Laura is on the other side of that "certain age") hang out of. I'm so sick of seeing her breasts! Ok, she has good construction, but has anyone else noticed that she really only makes one style of dress?

Thanks to Heidi's offensive words tonight, I'm done with Project Runway. I'm sick to death of being treated like a scourge on society because I'm a size 16, not a size 00.

This episode is a bunch of BS!!!!!!! I mean B $%#@!*&^& S!!!!

The wacko who has loose nuts stays ON and ALISON who probably could've won is BOOTED??!?!!?!?!?!

And let me say that Michael Knight is the BOMB--but this win should have gone to Jeffrey. Period.

Judges--you've misjudged.

And talk about "unflattering to the female figure"....Heidi, what's with her outfits!?!? ! NOT cool.

This was the most disappointing show ever. First off, I think Jeff's design was extremely appealing and very different...it was the one dress that could be remembered. I can't believe that Alison was kicked off. Kayne's dress was horrific as well as Vincent's. Kayne's dress was an eyesore and was a mess. Alison's dress showed innovation. I think that the judges had a really hard time with Alison's dress because they thought it made the model look fat. So apparantly in this world it is worse to look FAT than to look like last night's "leftover" keylime pie wrapped in aluminum. I can't even pay attention to Heidi's comments about the "plus size" thing. Afterall, she thought Vincent's dress wasn't the worst----now that's crossing the loony line! Alison is a talented designer who has always shown promise....but her past outfits weren't even considered!!! Yet they considered Kayne's past work when scoring his atrocity....so so so so disappointing!!!

Actually, the only thing missing from Vincent's catastrophe was the little garbage mobile hat he designed for her,it moved around her face,so she had to follow it when she walked. It had little pieces of trash hanging from each section....
izzy
i agree! I mean she's never been in the bottom 3, she's got a great vision, she's ranked in the top before, and VINCENT is in the bottom 3 EVERY SHOW! I understand knocking people off due to a bad design, but their design history has to be taken in to consideration as well. Vincent is AWFUL! Allison may have made a mistake in this dress, but it's nothing in comparison to Kayne and they considered his design history in keeping him on. Not only that, but Vincent ARGUED about the fact that the dress wasn't functional, the model couldn't walk, and he WANTED IT THAT WAY. So who is he designing for and what is fashion about?

Alison! If you're reading the boards we love you and the rules for this show are ridiculous. I thought it was really cool to let the models choose their designers to make the competition fair for them this year, but not considering a designers history, overlooking fundamental consistent flaws in their work is bogus.

dude i totally agree with you about heidi. sometimes i think she doesn't really understand english that well and that's why her comments are always so weird. like how she'll say random things like "it looks like you just found a homeless man to sew you a dress and then he exploded and he was made of jelly beans and it got all over your dress and then a cat came and sat on it and that's your dress." i'm like 'what?'. i think heidi needs a reality check. also that one outfit she wore at the beginning of this episode was really ugly.
britneeee
i dont like how heidi tries to sound SO dramatic when she talks.

sometimes i think i accidently hit the channel clicker and was actually watching who wants to be a millionare

Ok allison getting kicked off is Horse shmm... poopies!!! She was my favorite so she had an off day. Vincent really should have been kicked off, every day is an off day for him. Has he ever been in the top hmm let me see... NO!!! Allison if your reading this if you ever design mens wear I'll buy from you in a sec. oooohhh sooo angry.

Calm down everyone. I don't think Jeffery would lose any sleep over this comment even if he was to read it.

You're missing the point. WE are offended that anybody would say something that crude.

Caeole, you are right. OTFLMAO!!! That post was totally hilarious and dead on. It should be reposted in it's entirety. Gabe you need to comment on next weeks episode

Gabe said:
He was just making a rich [expletive deleted] comment and telling her to stick it up her nose rather than elsewhere.

Ok. I know Laura has ONE actual boobie cuz I just saw it popping out while she berated Vincent about his model not walking. WHY is she such a b****? She is like a dog with a bone who just will NOT let things go. Loved the remark that her dress was something she would wear. Uh, duh. ALL her dresses look the same and are something she would wear. Slashed to the waist empire style I AM AN ARCHITECT plain. We get it. Move on. Stop building A frames and branch out a bit. Maybe a little duplex next time.

Jeffrey. Talent but oh my. Is he always that nasty? He does not have one single nice thing to say about ANYBODY ever. As I watch him week after week making his nasty snide remarks about everyone else I think: Who in the business will ever really want to work with someone like that? Does he not get fashion is a business and making nice, the old iron fist in a velvet glove, will get you further. Just a nasty piece of work. Must be very insecure to be so mean. Probaly the old big neck small penis syndrome.

Michael is in a groove. Flew under the radar early. But consistently talented wonderful outfits. He glides above the storm clouds. He knows how to play nice in the sandbox while Laura and Jeffrey are wacking it out. And I just know he is nice to his Mom.

Kayne and Robert are the cutest couple and need to set up their own Barbie Pagent/Wedding shop thing going. They would be the perfect next Bagdley Mischca.

Angela shut up. You are too old to be dressing like you are in high school and your vocal enthusiasm everytime and OMG faces at each challenge are wearing thin. Gosh golly gee. Unless the next challenge is the angel Gabriel announcing it is to dress the VIrgin Mary in new Annuciation gowns nothing calls for that face at the reveal.

Allison was vanilla. Sweet but no mocha almond coffee. Yes she will be designing stuff with cute matching headbands somewhere else. But you will not be missing her at the end.

Vincent is crazy like a fox. We have all talked about how he seems on the edge of a breakdown. But he is just a menopausal guy with that little fidget going. His meds are working fine and I think we will not see the meltdown we are all expecting. I think he is guy who is giving it one last shot but is missing his kids. He would work better if towards the end of the challenge the door opened and his family piled in and brought wine and mucnhies and "oh gosh dad that is cool" and he could talk and laugh. I think he is probably fun at dinner. And unlike Laura would not shoot you when you did NOT eat the vegetables SHE chose for you.

I think Laura is having her 6th baby to replace the others she left out for the wolves when they did not adhere to her strict standards.

And just WHO do we think this is referring to? Guess anyone?

so what are u saying, allison should act like an idiot to stay? daniel and chloe never acted in such a manner and were in the top 2. last season the judges act like "oh santino is so preposterous and hideous" and yet they keep him around til the finals.im surprised they didnt keep keith around, but then again they probably purposely casted him because they knew he would be scandalous.
i say if allison got booted for entertainment factor then keith should stay for the entertainment factor. vincent is by far one of the worse designers ive ever seen. i feel itchy just looking at his designs.they look so old, unflattering, and unwearable. take them to the dry cleaners, they probably have 30 years of dust penetrated in them.

I can remember most of Santino's outfits but I think in six months we will be hard pressed to remember even one of Allison's. Think quick: what did she do for the first challenge?
plus_size_girl
One thing I forgot . . . if I had to hear Vincent say one more time how his outfit "got him off" or "turned him on" I will puke!!!!! Was it just me or did he sound like was of those creepy men you wouldn't let be around your kids unsupervised?

Like all of you I am suprised by tonights ending. I did not get to see the whole show but got enough of it. I was shocked by Alison being booted off. In my opinion, Vincent has to go. Everyone of his designs were either just ok or awefull. Still stunned by the judges decision. I think Alison more talent than Vincent will ever have. Sorry to see ya go!

I think we all know what happened here.

I'd like to say that I have been watching project runway since the first episode. At first it seems like a really honest show about fun, innovative design. But, as we can see now, it's just become a greedy corporate pit. The creators, producers, etc. of this show had a real gem that just lost a lot of it's integrity tonight to the design world.

We realize that the show is about drama. Drama equals ratings. Ratings equals money. By keeping Vincent we are outraged. Obviously Kanye was kept because we know he has talent. If the same applied to the other two (Vincent and Allison). Allison would have been in. I believe Vincent has absolutely no talent at all. He is not innovative and most of his projects look like really bad art school experiments. Allison messed up, and they had no mercy on her. Vincent messes up constantly, and he is swept in with the rest. Why?

Someone give me one good reason Vincent even survived the first episode.

But hey, i guess it's just my opinion and people have to make money. I guess integrity and consistency means nothing to bravo.

While I agree that Vincent should have gone home in this episode, primarily because when you compare his dress with any of the other "bottom" dresses, it was no better than either other but when you take into account past performance, the two other designers in the bottom three had had good, solid designs and presentations while he had consistently not. However, I do think I understand why he made it to tonight. When you look closely at his designs, he tends to do interesting things with how he fits bodices and places darts. Even his first design, the one with the basket hat, when you looked closely at the lines of the dress he had fitted the bodice with a fairly unusual inverted V line that continued the line of the straps. Yes, the hat was dumb and the pockets were a bad idea, but that line of the dress was interesting. The cut of the bodice in the Miss USA challenge was similarly uncommon. Again, he used an inverted v but it was a panel that began right over the breastbone and continued through the skirt. The bodice was pieced into it. No, that dress was not incredibly well made, but the way he is tailoring fits is interesting, at least until tonight.

Had anyone noticed that, aside from all of its numerous "issues", THIS dress was not fitted around the bustline. In fact it looked as though the model was forced to wear a black sports bra under the dress for modesty. The judges did not comment on this, nor did Tim Gunn on his blog or podcast, but that is how it looked to me.

Vincent should have been Aufed on this challenge. While I do understand the queer fascination of watching a trainwreck in slow motion (trainwreck=nervous breakdown), I don't think that's what most of us like about the show or want to see on it. I'd suggest to the producers that they implement a scoring rubric, publish it on the website (so we can play along at home?), and also publish the results. I'd even appreciate the honesty of including a category for scoring called "dramatic potential". It would have the dual virtues of being transparent and honest.

Very interesting. Two different sets of writers registered a similar show concept with the Writer's Guild in 2003, and one pitched it to Heidi and the other pitched it to Project Greenlight (a Bravo show)? WOW. Although it is interesting that they only sue now when it is clear that the show is a runaway (no pun intended) hit and starting to rake in the big bucks. Still, looks like they might actually have a leg to stand on. Stay tuned . . . .

Argg, I'm so bummed that Allison went home. She definitly deserved to stay. She has more talent then Vincent will ever have. Even if she couldn't have made it to the top 3, she didn't deserve to go home so soon. Freaking rigged ... you could see the shock in her face when Heidi said she was out. That was cool how Laura stood up for her though.

if we did participate, allison would be here.

I am so shocked and upset that ALison is GONE!!!

They are choosing her to go because she's doesn't have DRAMA to dish out.
WHY, I'm so dissapointed that they for all the reasons still sent her home, i was like NOOOOOOOOO, all my friends are all in agree, calling eachother and sharing our comments about stupid Vincent!!!

Laura, Michael, & Jeffrey kudo's to them but now the show seems uninteresting to me EVEN FOR TELEVISION!

i feel bad for alison because she spent all of that time on the first skirt which was really cute but had to nix it. i don't really feel like it was her fault that it didn't work out. i think that if the judges had known about that than she would still be here but of course she's not a jerk like everyone else and wouldn't throw that information at them as a desperate attempt to save her ass. which i find admirable. ps. i think alison is a cute girl but her voice was really annoying.

Sorry to be a drive by, but I just finished watching and I have to jump in without reading all the previous comments. I can only imagine that everyone else is as upset, shocked, appalled, and shaken as I am that Allison is gone. I nearly got choked up watching her say her goodbyes.

I reflect back on previous seasons and episodes and think that Allison should have been spared. Think about the mistakes that Santino made, the unflattering clothing he put women in, only to make it to the final three. I am absolutely flabergasted that Allison was cut for making a *single* mistake. In all other challenges, she's been a solid contender.

As for the Michael and Jeffrey debate (okay, I did peek at some previous posts), I feel that both were solid contenders for the win, but ulimately, Michaels' was more sophisticated and believable.

Jeffrey's was more colorful, but once those judges said "ugly," I knew he was done for.

AAAAAAGH. That's all I can say about this. I can hardly believe I'm going to stay tuned for next week. What a sap I am.

I don't get it - all season long I just can't grasp why Vincent continues to squeak through. What is up with that. They guy is a total mess, couldn't make a dress if he was using a super-simple McCalls Pattern. He should have been voted off long before now - hell, he should have not been invited ON the show - period.

While I know that many of you are not Laura fans, I love her work - maybe it is the over-40 thing - but I love her clean elegant style. In the future, when I have a big event to go to, I will not hesitate to call her and ask her to design it for me.

Hey - - I've got a great idea - - - lets tell the designers to design something unique - - creative - - and innovative from materials in their room.

Then we (the judges) can pick the PLAIN BORING "CLASSIC" navy blue dress made from a bed sheet (oh shock!! Is that fabric?)

Oh Yes - - It is just so much more CREATIVE - UNIQUE - and INNOVATIVE then those who used non-fabric materials.

I liked Jeff's outfit, but I liked Michael's more & he made 3 pieces. I liked Laura's better than Jeffrey's. Michael has consistently had strong designs, like the coffee filter dress & the dog accessory dress (that was tied for my fave along w/ the Pam Grier outfit). The same can't be said for Jeff, the one other time he almost won it was Keith's vision, even if he & Allison were doing all the work. Plus Jeff doesn't have the social or interpersonal skills it takes to sell his clothes. Michael gave a thoughtful presentation and explanation for his garment, Jeff was hardly as impressive. But I will say this was Jeff's best outing by far.

and michael is just getting wins because he's ethnic. there i said it.

you're an idiot.

you know you were all thinking it. okay maybe not just because he's ethnic. that was a joke. but you have to admit that his outfit tonight wasn't really the best one out there. i think tattoo neck guy's clothes were 100 times better.

You're an [censored]. Don't push your racist attitude on us. We were NOT "all thinking it." Michael is a very strong designer who did a beautifully intricate dress with classic styling. He deserved the win.

Criminy!

FFO I agree, I doubt anyone was thinking it. What I was thinking was that he has been good in every challange so far and last week he was out standing and won as he should have. I don't care if he is pea green with purple spots, if he makes great fashion, who cares.

umm... if i remember correctly, that wasn't even the whole conversation. way to misquote me assbag. i said plainly that it was a joke. if you people can't take a joke as harmless as that than i fear for the future of this planet. why don't you peel yourself away from bravo.com long enough to buy a sense of humor. and as i have said before, i am black and i don't take offense to my comment so why don't you leave my race alone and let us fend for ourselves. we're not helpless infants for christ's sake.

If you watch the behind the scenes footage on this site, you can see why people on the show don't like Laura. She is always around picking at their designs trying to put people down.
What is so funny to me about Laura is the fact she is born and raised in Meterie, Louisiana, I think she has been in New York too long and has forgotten her southern routes. The fact she atacked Vincent tonight in front of Allison was un=called for. I admitt I love that quirkey crazy designer because he reminds me of so many peeps that I know here in New orleans. I loved Vincents Dress I could see what he was going fore. But I had to agree with the judges that if it were a mini it would have been much more a feasable dress. I STILL inmhop tHINK jEFFERY SHOULD OF WON TONIGHT even Michael admitted that his skirt was to hard or stiff to walk in. Atleast Jeffery dress was the most flowing of all the creations that came down the runway tonight. That doesn't change the fact that I love her! But Michael is my man. Talented, well spoken, humble but secure in his abilities.

Just read Tim's Take on tonight's show.

I think the last paragrah says it all.

If you have a chance read it.

He also dissed Angela's dress for tonight.

if you really believe what you say, i feel really bad for anybody that has to have human contact with you. plus, i seriously doubt that you would ever make that comment in person because someone would make your regret even thinking it.

Which, sadly,is a shame that noone wants to open up an intelligent dialog with this possibly misguided person, but you want to immediately 'make someone regret' voicing an opinion that I,sadly, have heard before. On many different sides.Educate someone. It shouldnt be an issue if you can educate another to think more clearly. You only erase hatred and prejudices by rising above it.If I took every anti-gay comment to heart,I would have an ulcer, but I just carry on and hold my head high.Anger and, especially impulsively attacking another leads to more miscommunication.

im sorry but in this day in age, there is NO room for statements like this. Perhaps, my statement was a little harsh, but i do not believe that this statement was made out of ignorance, but out of stupidity...."there is said it" she knows what she is saying or she wouldnt be so defensive right off the bat. I have ran out of tollerance for people who make offhanded comments especially when it is so not necessary. sorry

Personally,I think you're fabulous.There,I Said it.
