All the more offensive then. You made a comment to deliberately stir people up by claiming Michael just got his wins because he is black. Yet you'd no doubt go through the roof if somebody else voiced that opinion and immediately cry racism. What is this, an assumption that he is a token who is being allowed to slide by because he is a "token"? Or, are you just jealous that he got a fabulous chance and is determined to make the most of it?
The fact remains that Michael did well not because he is black, but because he is HUGELY TALENTED. Your manner of belittling his achievement is offensive. To then back off and claim it was "humor" just doesn't wash with me. That statement would have been highly offensive from a person of any color.

Boo on Bravo. This is a real let down.
Project Runway in Season 3 has jumped the shark. Once the most innovative and (dare I say) honest "reality" shows on tv, this season it is every bit as staged, unrealistic and tabloidy as every other reality program on the air. The fact that the judges decided to eliminate a proven talent to save the producers' obvious favorite only emphasizes my point. (Seriously, are the ratings not high enough? Let's not get greedy people.)

Seeing alison kicked off, makes me not want to watch the show. vincent is worth nothing. his so called "avant garde" was not artsy even, it was just thrown together with no thought of design in it! it isn't alison's fault her model is fat, and frankly pathetic. The judges were also making fun of the hair; but it resembled the fall couture line of gaultier(with his hair hats). It is not like the challenge was for a conservative political party; it was for a abstract design piece. this show sucks my ass

I think this was the worst judging in the history of the show! Vincent's was abysmal and he should have been out. Allison's wasn't the best, but compared to Vincent her outfit was operational and her model didn't look like she was about to fall over because her legs were constricted like a Geisha. He obviously didn't think about the woman wearing the dress, but at least her model could walk down the runway without looking awkward. I also thought Jeffrey's outfit was much better than Michael's and I am not a Jeffrey fan. I think the judges' opinion and decision was horrible. In the past we have seen the judges take past designs into consideration and the past performance. Allison was promising and never disappointed the judges until tonight. As a viewer, it seems a little messed up that what I consider a better designer was sent home where a person that has seemed to slide by a few times is passed through, yet again.

I have to say... Ive been an AVID viewer of this show since the first season and have loved it all the way.
But tonight makes me REALLY not want to watch this show
Project Runway has succumbed to the power of their producers who are seeming to demand "controversy" in their choices of the designers who are "in" rather than choosing those who are actually talented and sane unlike Vincent.
Granted, this draws all the publicity they want. Good for them, but its [censored]. I have never been this worked up over a TV show elimination because the choice was so obvious.
Alison has consistantly performed as one of the top designers and she made one mistake... so they boot her.
Gee, lets look at everything Vincent sent down the runway.
His best piece was the pageant dress and at best it was MEDIOCRE with poor construction [every single seam was puckered on that dress, it was disgusting!!!]
Project Runway is going to have to make up some serious ground in my book for me to keep watching the show. Because its starting to turn into every stereotypical reality show that keeps people on for the controversy of their presence.
Thats not why any of us watch the show.
We watch the show to see the talent of up and coming designers, not to see [censored] crazys sending absolute trash down the runway that is an insult to fashion.
Bottom Line:
Vincent deserved to go home tonight, he has never performed well on the show. Alison at 24 has more talent than Vincent could ever hope to have... and hes like twice her age!
[censored] this [censored] Project Runway.
[censored] it.

"Project Runway is nothing without its integrity." Maybe in Season 1 and Season 2. But I'm afraid to say, Tim, Project Runway just isn't making it work anymore.
I have a different take on this so-called horrifying auf'ing of a "proven" talent and the show being formula now. I think that the field of designers remaining at this point is so talented that you could say that any one of them is a "proven" talent and should be cut some slack and allowed to stay. And Vincent? Well, there was always somebody who screwed up a little more than he did, so he has squeaked by. And, if you believe the judges on the Miss Universe dress challenge, he did a very classic dress with a beautiful back, so he is also a "proven talent."
The problem is, the show is so strong this year that we are all getting emotionally invested much earlier in the game. Of COURSE we are all going to cry foul and claim that our fave should have been given the benefit of the doubt because of past performance. But, ultimately, he or she who produces a crappy outfit for the current challenge risks getting booted right then and there.
And here, Allison's tubby little dress with Angela-style poufy skirs, clamshell fan on the bodice, odd wavy curves and a parrot-like thing sticking up on the shoulder was just too much for the judges to stomach. And, the model's Minnie Mouse bow of hair on top was one of the stupidest hair looks in the entire three PR seasons.
Yah, the judges had a reasonable basis to auf her. You might not have agreed with their decision, but there definitely were some grounds for it.
And as for the so-called formula of the producers whoring for revenue rather than sticking to "integrity," the only formula I see is the judges consistently booting somebody who produced a crappy outfit. Yes, personalites who make for good TV seem to be kept on, but I think that is more of a self-selecting process. Those with great personalities seem to me to be more likely to possess great talent as well. Kind of like peanut butter and jelly going together.

You're an [censored]. Don't push your racist attitude on us. We were NOT "all thinking it." Michael is a very strong designer who did a beautifully intricate dress with classic styling. He deserved the win.
Criminy!
How did I know someone would crawl out from underneath a rock and bring Michael's race into. I liked Jeff's dress better this week. I usually hate his stuff. But the panel thought Jeff's was ugly beautiful. And, they thought Michael's dress was simply beautiful. When Michael won this week and last one of the judges said they would put on his outfit and walk out the door. That is it, right there.
What also works for Michael is his confident easy going southern style. He always comes across unpretentious, straight forward, no ill will, no arrogance. Jeff's begrudging remark about Michael's win was vulgar really.
I would have thought Vincent would have been tossed out with that hat in the beginning. I think he is getting credit for the fumes of fame. Remember, Koors and Tim knew him from he had success before in the business. I think they want to support his attempt to make a comeback. It is a mistake. If he had it, he lost it.

Vincent should have gone. I think they left him on becasue he is so strange and they figured might as well let Alyson go anyway since it will come down to Kaine and Jeffrey and Michael. I like Michael's look. Jeffrey is so full of himself that it is hard to watch. What does it say on his neck? It looks like the Declaration of Independence. Well, a couple of days ago, Entertainment weekly complained that the producers of this show exercise their hands too much in order to create drama. If you catch the credits at the end, they run a "disclaimer" saying that the final decision of the judges may be overridden by the producers.

Anyways, c'mon guys, I am SO sad that Allison left too, but this was a toughy. Kayne's was like Tinkerbell on acid, but the dude can sew, Vincent's was like bad Andy Warhol or a Duran Duran album cover, but his model did have a silhouette, I LOVE Allison's creations, BUT you didn't know where this one began and ended..plus, the poor thing had a bad model..maybe if she had one of the thinner models..Tim did note that she had one of the more fuller models.
And I don't think Heidi meant any harm by her 'plus sz' model comment. She was talking about the silhouette, not the actual model. Allison could've done so much better, the design was cool, but she needed more time.

I'm in complete agreeance. Why should I even watch this show any more if they're going to keep a complete NON-designer like Vince on over Allison?? Absolutely absurd. I can't watch this show any more and I've been a faithful die-hard viewer since inception. The decision to kick Alison off is really, really disappointing and upsetting to say the least. Well, I'll find something else to do w/ my Wednesday nights. It's so sad and insane.

Tim Gunn should be one of the judge. He has the taste, he really sees what's cute and what's not~!!
I can understand why they gave Santino many chances in Season II, but i really don't understand why are they keeping Vincent????????? ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Malan and Allison both have way more talent than crazy Vincent. How could he justify that awful tube sock of a dress as fine art?
After watching the video of the auditions and how the designers were picked for Season 3, I felt like they were just picking the same arch-types again that we've already seen, and the challenges have been very weird and uninteresting. What do they expect the designers to do with 10 hours and a bucket full of garbage?
Michael's got a good eye, and that's what keeps him in. Laura's designs all look the same, she needs to show some versatility. Jeffrey has a distinct point of view, and his clothes are well constructed. That's why these three are probably the top contenders. Uli is the wild card, because she uses patterns and textures well, but is probably as close as Kayne came tonight to making a misstep. Nice to see Robert come up with something cute and interesting and probably more in line with what he is capable of.
Alison has promise; Vincent is just a flake. Send his paranoid mid-life crisis back to Malibu.

As a previous fan of this one and only "reality" show that I believed had some integrity due to the content, I have lost faith in it as well as Heidi. As a producer and creator I thought she had more self-respect as a model and true icon. I will never watch this show again, nor will I watch or buy anything she endorses or is a part of, talk about her or this show ever again. It's obvious that making money is more important to the producers than it is to give truly talented people the break they deserve. Funny how once you make it, you forget those who are once where you were. Vincent is a truly talentLESS drone and needs to go back to acting and off the show. Shame on you all. Your once fan.
