i think i can be very confident in saying
no,
we weren't all thinking it.

thats just retarded to say, his clothes have been consistantly good. he deserves to win, he has actual talent
AbbyC
I've watched all the episodes of Project Runway for three seasons but tonight's judging was pathetic, as well as insulting to plus size women. Obviously, the producers overruled the judges and wanted Alison off and kept Vincent for more drama. I really enjoyed all the prior programs but I'm done. They blew it tonight!!!! I hope Michael wins but I'll never know. PR has been Auf'd !!!!!

Tim Gunn should be one of the judge. He has the taste, he really sees what's cute and what's not~!!

I can understand why they gave Santino many chances in Season II, but i really don't understand why are they keeping Vincent????????? ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

I never understood why Santino was kept on the show if it was about design and fashion, his fashion were total crap to me. Jeffery does the same thing, just not out as out there. To me, their sense of fashion is what I call garbage bag fashion or rag bag fashion. Trashy and ugly. But that's just my opinion and worth nothing.
Would i ever put myself in the presence of either of them? No
Would I ever let either of them design anything for me? No
Are they both fairly good reality TV contestants? Yes
Designers with a future? Doubtfull
LunarCat
Michael's dress was made from all recycled materials - Jeffery put the newspaper on muslin backing, which may not be cheating but is not as innovative.

As for Laura being a [expletive deleted]. Puh-lease. Jeffery, Kayne and Robert can dish it out and it's OK. When Laura serves it right back, she's a [expletive deleted]. If Kayne doesn't want to be treated that way on-camera then maybe he should shut his mouth about other designers. He can dish it out but he can't take it. What a wimp.
jackie14
I did not think Kaine's dress was that bad.I thought it was kind of cute too.
ephemeral
It's becoming blatantly obvious that this show is less about actual fashion and more about drama. Keeping Vincent on shows that. He is easily the worst designer this season and maybe the worst in the history of the show, yet was kept on the show because he is insane. He will cause conflict. However on the other hand there is alison, though not perfect, was definitely one of the best designers on the show. Pretty soon this "editing for content" and unfair judging will get to people and they will stop watching. I am watching the show for fashion, otherwise i would watch the real world.
LaGabberGirl
Oh, yeh, and I honestly couldn't believe that Angela's design had a passing score! Wtf?! What was that? She's getting so lucky. She could've been right next to Vincent in the 80s.

And how come Laura's designs are never called 'boring'? Yeh, they're chic and well made, but look 'been there , done that'. Yaaaawn.
Parnell
I guess so, FF1. I respect your opinion and your seniority on this board, but I don't think that crappy outfits are always the ones to go. And I don't think it is always the common denominator for auf'ing. Again, consider Santino's lingerie. Not flattering. Santino was often accused of not designing for a woman's form, and was kept on until the bitter end.

I do agree that the talent on this show is exemplary, and because of that fact, it is all the more difficult to make the cut each week. These designers are consistently turning out amazing product. And yes, for the viewer, this makes each cut feel unfair as we become all the more invested in our favorite designers.

I agree that Alison's outfit was poorly executed. It made her model look like a walking cream puff. Yes, the bow-tie hair was one of the worst hairstyle on PR to date. But other designers have made atrocious decisions, made mistakes, run-out-time, and have been spared.

By no means was Alison my favorite. If you consider some of my earlier postings, I favored Michael, Laura and Uli. I believe the judging has been uneven, at best, and manipulative.
xyzeus
Alison most certainly did not deserve to be voted off this week. The last 2 people should have been Vincent and Kayne. OMG, Kayne's dress was disgusting compared to Alison's and if I were judging, I would have voted Kayne off. Even though Vincent's was constructed poorly, it still was appealing in an artistic manner. However, I have to agree with Mr. Kors that Kayne does know dress construction so that is Kayne's saving grace imo. At least we know who is going to leave next week *cough Vincent*

Boy, at least 50 people tonight have proclaimed that they will never watch this show again.

Face it, you're emotionally invested in this show. And, you'll watch it next week. Secretly, you know it is true. Bravo knows it, too. They've done a good job of setting the hook and are now reeling you in.

I think this season has been masterfully constructed, filmed and edited. The proof of the pudding is that we are all so into it much earlier this season than in past seasons. Bravo to you, Bravo.

This is the first time I have ever signed up to leave a message and I cannot figure it out at all! The only thing I can do is reply like stated above. Not too happy!
And kicking Allison off the show! I don't get it! Vincent has been in the bottom three for almost every episode. It's like Heidi and the other judges have a secret pact with him. Maybe he's overly creative, but nothing that he has designed from day one has been anything that I have found attractive or wearable.
Allison has had impressive clothes the whole way through. Even Kayne's clothes were worse than hers todays. I don't understand this show at all-and up until today it was the only show I raved about on my own blogs.
And plus size-what maybe an 8????? Come one! Even on Next Top Model they let in the plus size girls.
I can honestly say I will no longer be staying up late to watch this show on Thursday's. I'm extremely disappointed in Heidi and the other judges. They can't understand a young, fresh designer's ideas, but can accept an insane horrible designer with no taste...then I guess I no longer want to be a part of this audience!
missmodular
Oh dear...I know i'm not saying anything new here but i just wanted to put it out there that i could not BELIEVE it when Vincent was kept in....are they trying to use this 'one moment in fashion you are in, the next you are out' theory to its most insane extremes to make a point? Allison had so much potential, so much talent and truly original style. I thought she would definitely be in the top 3. I managed to hold it together when Danny V lost last season but come on, this is just silly, unprecedented and unpleasant. My only solace is the thought that Allison will have gained enough exposure and credibility from the show that she will still have a brilliant career. Down with VIncent and Down with hypocrisy.
AllegraGatto
Actually what Vincent said was "it gets me off" which I find far more disturbing than "I get off on it".

What show are you watching? This is Project Runway and the designer's dramas are why we watch it. I mean, really!

Vincent should have gone. I think they left him on becasue he is so strange and they figured might as well let Alyson go anyway since it will come down to Kaine and Jeffrey and Michael.

Don't rule Uli out. I usually love her stuff. I am thinking she might last to the final three. I just don't support Jeffery. I don't like his attitude and his clothes are just not my tastes. Kaine may falter. He may have peeked with the pagent competition. He can do glamorous, what else can he do? He has got to be able to design for more people than midwestern pagent queens and drag queens.

this is also my first time posting on here...and judging by tonights show, it might also be my last...between jeff being robbed (and i admit, im not usually a fan of his) to vincent being kept, this just proves that this show is a fraud...im suprised im even taking the time to post this since i basically use PR to fill the void till TC comes back for season 2...but who knows if that show will be able to keep its integrity and keep the producers out of things...bottom line...one more episode...if i get pissed...GOODBYE

Well, I must note that even though I agreed with Allison being off'd in my other post, now that I think about it...that comment that Kors made about Kayne knowing how to sew...Allison DID TOO! Kayne's kinda reminded me of a high school poster with all that glitter. Was a toughy.

you are probably right about being invested in this show, but i really do think if we orchestrate a strike for next weeks episode then maybe they will learn a lesson. how hard is it for us not to watch just one episode? weakness is why tv execs know they can make these kind of decisions. lets not let them get away with it.

Totally agree! I can't stand Kayne~!!! so so so annoying! blah blah blah, non stop!!! He talks so much ShXX about people but expect people not to talk back???

My main concern is...with all the beautiful items Heidi can choose from, why does she look pick the most ridiculous clothes to wear on the show. Her outfits should be voted "out" and place in the wall of shame.

Yes! FOR SHAME.

Absolutely unbelievable. I thought my heart broke when Daniel V didn't win, but THIS?

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to continue watching this show. Jay was right: It's all about the producers.

Being a 21 year old who enjoys watching Project Runway, I am quite disappointed in Heidi's remarks on making it seem like being heavy or plus size is a bad thing. I kind of lost respect for her and the show. I guess people like Mia Tyler don't count as models. I'm not sure if Heidi actually reads these posts, but these comments tend to hurt someone like me who is a size 14 and not a size 1.

I really don't think you should take her comment like that. I think she meant that it was bad because she isn't plus size and Heidi thought the outfit made her look plus size.

Well, I don't know about Heidi, but take a look at Tim's "plus-size" comment.

You're right I should have not rulled Uli out, and it is not that I want Jeffrey to be in the final three- I can not stand his attitude . Michael has real talent. Kaine may not be able to work with everyday type things. I wish they would have a wedding gown challenge and bring Vera back to judge it.

Okay...So how does Allison get kicked off her very first time in the bottom three?? I was completely shocked and disappointed.

OK, I have never posted to one of these boards before. This show is pure crack and the producers have us fixed. It's just like real drugs, people. They can't keep giving you the good stuff or you'll never get high again.

I personally think it's definitely b#llshee-it that Alison was thrown off. Vincent kept talking about making a work of art and Alison actually made it. I am not a fashion designer but I recently went back and rated all of the runway shows with my b-f. While we didn't always agree on some get-ups (taste, taste), Vincent consistently was at the bottom of our lists. Even Angela, who irritates me (and whose dress 2nite was pretty terrible), has had her shining moments. Vincent--none. I'm sorry. He's just a mess.

But I think my biggest problem with the show right now is that there is a total groupthink on the part of the judges. They never seem to disagree with one another. Why not have Tim Gunn as a judge? A different perspective would be more intriguing. Instead you have all of this boring agreement on what is in and what is out.

Alison was robbed. And it did not make her model look plus-size. What is up with that comment about Alison not being able to design for women? Most women don't wear TRASH...unless you're Heidi on the show lately. Her outfits are definitely OUT.

Oh well. I really wanted to see what Alison could do. Just like Robert after his two crappy weeks. But Vincent...maybe they are just too scared that he'll off himself.

I'd rather have the cheater back than look at another of Vincent's montrosities.

OK, I cannot believe I'm posting this. Project Dumbway, set me free! I'm gonna need Betty Ford...speaking of which, I wonder where Bradley is...

i sooo agree with you. i am sorry vincent sucks. he should have been off on the first episode. he is terrible, has terrible taste and his stuff looks like junk. kayne can make a good dress...but so can alison! so why didnt they take that into consideration. i am sorry, project runway is starting to piss me off. i feel like they are only keeping on the psycho freaks just for ratings and to keep it interesting with the drama. isnt this show supposed to be about the CLOTHES AND THE DESIGNER????? NOT ABOUT THE DRAMA!!!!!

How do you seperate the designer from the drama? You can't. It is just not possible. If you can not put up with that then maybe you should watch another show. This is clearly not for you.

seaminglysocal
OhAllison!! I LOVED her! No offence Vincent but dang, I wish she had stayed. I sincerely doubt we have seen the last of her! Please, rethink it. Do another runway first and bring her back!!! We loved her! Kayne admitted making a bad choice but Vincent makes borderline "unique" choices every week. Pushing the edge is one thing but falling off it like it is a cliff is another!!!
myh1
I'm so disgusted with the judges on this show. I normally like Heidi Klum, but not anymore. She's been on way too many 'What not to wear' lists lately to be judging high fashion anyway. I think the tanning bed is killing off the rest of Micheal Kors' brain cells. For the love of God man, stay away from the lights. Nina needs to either lay off the bottle or start hitting it more. The angry sober/drunk thing you've got going isn't working for your bitter, bitter, bitter criticism. All three judges should be committed to an institution with Vincent. Maybe he can design the three of them stylish straight jackets and decorate them with what looks like leftover trash from a 1st grade art project. So Heidi, yes, I would much rather look like a fat Minnie Mouse than be caught dead wearing something that Vincent designed.
paradigmshift
I agree, she and Jeff did make quite a couple. Wonder if there was chemistry off set? One can only hope eh?

Alison was robbed
Vincent is driving me crazy at least alison knew her outfit had problems
My guess for next week ( ps I was right about the dogs)
They are going to design for...Hillary Clinton

The integrity of the show was lost tonight. When Alison was asked to leave it reminded us that this show is about entertainment not talent.
beadgrrl
I HAVE ISSUES!

First, as a "zaftig" girl, it is nice to hear the fashion world admit "we'd rather put you in something you can't move in than something that makes you look big." As if looking big is far worse than wearing a straightjacket and tripping when you try to walk into a room.

Second, Allison had this ONE misstep. ONE. Vincent's entire PR career has been a series of missteps. Baskets on heads? Space Cadet Shoulders? Friggin FINGERNAIL CLIPPING POCKETS??? HELLO!!

Third, don't EVEN trot out that faux-feminist "how could a woman do this to another woman BULLS**T". I have seen plently of women designers make clothes so ugly they are testaments to hateful mother/daughter relationships.

Just GRRRR. I will miss Allison, miss her teasing Laura and Laura teasing her back, and miss seeing what other pretty outfits she would have designed. We pretty much know what Vincent will design next - another unwearable hot mess that speaks VOLUMES about his own mommy issues. He's on life support - pull the damn plug already.

If this show consumes your life you may actually want to think of getting one. I saw the rebroadcast at midnight because I went to dinner with friends and then a long walk through Georgetown. I love the show but when I was offered the chance to go out I jumped. This is Bravo, people! You'll get another 40 chances to see it.

Yes, several new posters have come aboard. Yes, they are invested enough to speak their minds. Is that hooked? Maybe. But at what cost?

Not only are these new posters expressing disapointment with tonight's judging, they are also discussing the over-all integrity of the show. And the results are not favorable.

I don't think this is a Bravo to Bravo. If this is what it takes, I'm disapointed too.

"Seniority on the board"? Whaaa? That doesn't give my opinion any more weight!

I do agree with you that Santino's lingere was hideous, but Daniel F's was boring, elderly looking, and something you could find off the racks. I believe that Michael Kors was solidly in Santino's corner because he detected a truly powerful talent flailing about looking for a voice. Santino was such a huge and stubborn talent that they literally didn't know what to do with him. But I believe that Michael Kors was convinced that, if the judges could help him channel his powers, Santino would produce electrifying fashion. Santino is toweringly talented and should kiss Michael Kors' toes every day for the the hairsbreath breaks that kept him in the game until he could get it through his rock-hard head that he needed to harness his talent and his attitude and just do it.

None of the other designers in this season even begin to come close to Santino in terms of personality OR true promise, IMO. I see Santino as a once per century original. So, I see the comparison as apples and oranges. He really was a special case.
tylerrose
As you can see I'm a first time poster! My 2 cents..........PR season 3 is an overproduced piece of fluff! WTF????? They get rid of Alison over Vincent! That just floors me! I have always been a fan of PR.............but this episode just blew it for me...........I now realize that it has absolutely NOTHING to do with fashion and everything to do with DRAMA! Case in point have we seen ANYTHING out of Jay or Chloe other than the "bubblegum" pieces that Bravo has produced with them in it????? Hell, we've almost seen more out of Wendy Pepper.........LMAO!!!!

so its unanimous that vincent is loco, just a matter of time when the white truck pulls up. why is bad mommy laura still in? yawn, boring stuff with a hint of OCD? talk about no wire hangers - can you imagine if she had alcohol? and angela is just... how can i put this lightly: tacky, terrible, traumatic? lets see how you're going to patchwork yourself out of the next challenge s'il vous plaît? by the way, have you seen angela's entrance video on the site? such a good laugh. no i'm lauging at you dearie. it is a total shock poor sweet allison is off - she's going to be fine and snatched up by marc jacobs, don't you worry. at least the rest of the cast has talent so you can't blame them - but lets try not to screw up dahlings. robert and kayne - you just throw me on the floor! all of you must watch the bonus video of them in the van enroute to garbage land. you should have your own makeover show called " we will rob and kayne you"..errr, that was bad of me. bag of nuts anyone? as shirley maclaine once said, if you can't say anything nice, come sit next to me.

oh i can't wait for wednesday....

Agreed. The guy stinks sooo horribly its actually entertaining and pushes the ratings further. Not to mention now that he's Laura's new chew-toy, he should be good for another episodes (laaaaame). Damn producers, they make pawns of some of the talent on the show. Allison was dope, wtf were they thinking? Even if she didnt have the talent, her looks should have bought her more airtime!

And why did Michael win this challenge? WHY? The guy's got talent, dont get me wrong, but that plastic scarf was horrendous. I felt the sting on Jeff's face when the judges dismissed him to 2nd. SO WRONG.

Project Runway is beginning to stink.
beadgrrl
Thank you for saying this about Laura. I love her...not just because I love her clothes, but I love how she stands up for people. She totally crawled UP VINCENT'S NOSE when Allison got auf's - and it was CLEARLY Vincent who deserved it. She stood up for Michael when El Jerko started using his sewing machine and thread. And, she can take it. I loved when Allison teased her about her riding outfit!!! Jeffrey is jealous, ego-maniacal, and just irritating.

I am with you sister! What is the deal! Vincent's outfit is way more disturbing to me! It's like they let him go to see what TV he can make vs. what designs!!!
I'm with you on the plus size by the way. I was a size 6 and now I am most certainly not. I sew a great deal of my own clothes because I need four different sizes to fit my one body. I feel ya!
Hang in there my real bodied sister!!!

What was Vincent's model wearing underneath the dress? Did you see the straps? That was not there when he was making the dress. How come he gets away with adding undergarments like that. A couple episodes back, his dress was very short and then his model showed up on the runway was some leggings. How come Zulema couldn't add something like that when she got reamed for the super short dress last season.
