Been Watching day one, well like show, did not like MiMi immature biting got old and for running a business little disap. in Jackie for putting up with drama from MiMi. Now just as an Idea...for Jackie,,,mate...get her to train Jodie Foster..now that would be a good match......llook forward to next yr...I am sure Jackie will take GBPA back again.

I was surprised how I got hooked on this show. I think Jackie is really impressive. However, I was really disapointed in her when I saw this relationship with Mimi. It is so infantile that it makes Jackie look bad. Jackie has accomplished so much yet she is not very confindent in her relationship to say " I would rather be alone than accept less than I deserve (or want)". I know its hard to leave a long term relationship, but Mimi is so childish how could anyone stand 1 day of that let alone 4 years.

It's from the “workout” premier which was 6 weeks ago and they seem ToGetHer!!!! Who knows, as long as they are happy? Remember, this is a drama semi-reality show. I say semi because we only see one side of their relationship. I like Milena Casseb Saraiva (A.K.A. Mimi).

how do you expect that Jackie could involve Mimi in her business,she doesn't have any finesse or manners & will embarrass Jackie if she gets too close to one of her business persons.Jackie it took you 4 yrs to see Mimi is not good for you it took your mother & I one look good luck to you in finding a real woman

I want to see more Jackie, you know all I have a partner her and I have been together for 7 years now. We met on lesbian connection. We have changed so much.
Tonight when I watched the show it was like a revelation to me. I thought that we would be through.

I do love her, but we fought so damn much and you know I saw a little Jackie and Mimi in me and her as well. I thought I knew what to say to her.

I liked Jackies' comments I liked how she said that she is strong, egotistcal at times and controlling and she is not apologizing for that. I like that she said that well people stay together sometimes, because it is just easier and comfotable, being co dependant. She did not allow herself to grow as she said.

I and my partner Renee are still together and after our talk tonight and after I told her about how I had a theory of how we were, we came up wuth solutuons that both validated us.

We are still worth it and feel good.
I would love to see more episodes really.

Why only 6? I hope brave picks up another season of this. We lesbians need you, more importantly, it is real people that are getting out there and working out and showing us that hard work can chnage your body, can chnage your mind, no glitz just sweating/.

About J & M together: its hard enough to run a business without someone to offer support but only offer negative energy. It does make for interesting drama!

Have to agree with you on that one. My husband, a former marathoner and still an avid soccer player had this weird hip injury going on. The chiropractor was able to decrease his discomfort a little bit, but not by much. So for several weeks he remained in pain and not able to fully resume his routines.

Enter, this highly talked about trainer at our local fitness club. My husband booked a session with him and after an hour of observing my husband's gait, etc., he proceeded to work with him. Within 4 weeks time, husband is pain free and continued to train with this guy for 2 years. The trainer has a bachelor's in exercise science and is in the process of getting his Master's. The guy is brilliant and it was everyone's loss when he left to attend his post-graduate studies in Miami. Jackie would do well to bring him into her center, but I think he may just open one of his own in Miami and will seriously be very successful.

Most of the trainers at the fitness club we belong to have bachelors or post grad degrees, but this gentleman stood out, in that he was just gifted in diagnositics and thoroughly understanding the mechanics of the body. I personally prefer training with someone with that type of background.

Not to take anything away from Jackie's trainers, but I have worked with some trainers who have those mulit-initial certificates and in many cases, I did not feel they were competent enough to handle my post ACL-surgery workouts, etc. I left the fitness club I worked out with at the time, and joined the one my husband attended to train with the gentleman who successfully helped him. Best move I ever made.

If anyone has a link to Mimi's webpage could u please post it? Someone posted it and I didnt bookmark it and since then the post has been deleted. She had a few really nice pieces on her site. I know the painting she gave Jackie was whatever but some of her other stuff was actually "art" . I want to purchase something off the site but I can't find it. I googled it but no luck.

Good point but "...giving up" and "...failure" are not words associated with a healthy relationship. Nobody needs to stay in an unhealthy relationship. Its not a matter of giving up it is a matter of getting out! Those of us that have been there in a bad situation got out when we decided that it would not be our failure but a key to healthy living.

Mimi has been terribly insecure from the very beginning.

And MASSIVE KUDOS (I hope she reads this) to JACKIE!!! She helped the overweight woman who was looking for gastric bypass surgery GLOW!! And super kudos to the woman for working her ass off!!!

Heavy as she still was, she was GLOWING!!!

I've got 100+ to lose, to donate a kidney to my dad, who's actually dying from diabetes (never knew that was possible! I wish I had the funds to work with Jackie!
