YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally Vincent wins! He does have vision. Michael is consistently wonderful and could take it all (or Uli). Robert-sad to see him go...but his clothes were as boring as he is funny and sweet. Uli is a wonderful designer, it was a tossup between her and Vincent. Jeffery - good god, what an ugly concoction. I have been slightly on his side, but I'm being to lose patience with his attitude. Angela is an endearing wacko - but every once in a while she does all right. Kayne is beginning to get on my nerves - I'm not sure why, I like some of his clothes and certainly his glammy-pizzammy heart. Laura? hmmm. Jury's out on her. Well constructed clothes, tonight's outfit a bomb of a disaster.
What a hard challenge for the designers and moms too - it was great to see the mom's work the runway for their designer, and the love for their children was certainly there. Going out on a limb to say next out ... Jeffery. Then Laura. Then Kayne. Then Andrea, then Vincent - Micheal and Uli head to head... they are both sublime.

i wished angela got the boot finally..and only since her challenge with laura and michael - has she gained some fashion sense and stopped with those crazy art teacher clothes. and i figured since robert has been on the verge of being deleted from the group that it would be him...
aw i felt sad when they all said there goodbye...but then i said in my head - well hes going to get layed alot from being on this show..and i smiled
Since he is so WONDERFUL, why hasnt he won a challenge yet!?! He is a rude, ignorant, self absorbed PIG. But they keep him on because he is such a DRAMA ADDICT! TO be so disrespectful!! Maybe when they tattooed his neck, they shorted out his brain nerves for being a kind person,.

Oh, I dunno. I think his first dress with the coffee filters was fantastic. I don't know why he wasn't acknowledged from the very beginning. In fact, even his R2R dress was killer.
Right there with you. The show didn't emphasize the coffee filter dress, but I thought that was amazing.

Okay, I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but Laura's pregnant with her SIXTH child?? Are you kidding me? She's annoyed me from the beginning, for the following reasons (some petty, I admit):
1) why is she always wearing plunging necklines when she has no cleavage whatsoever? Does she really think her very flat chest is attractive and needs to be on display all the time?
2) during the dog challenge, she said something like, well, with five children, she doesn't have any affection left for animals/pets. I didn't know the two were mutually exclusive--I know people who actually seem able to love both their children and their dogs.
3) Six children?? Has she not noticed that the planet is overpopulated? I guess she/they can afford the kids--but I still don't quite get it. "I'll just throw it on the pile with the other ones," she just said. Okay. Nuff said.
I laughed myself silly when she said, "Oh, well. What's the difference....5 or 6, I'll just throw it on the pile with the rest of them". Like she wouldn't fire the nanny if she did that! LOL!
And it has been mentioned on previous epi's thread that not all 5 of them are hers. Her husband was married before and had 3, she has 2 with him and another on the way.

As far as the Angela's mom/Jeffrey thing. I thought she had unrealistic goals from the beginning. She wanted a tailored jacket.. and am not sure what else... which he didn't have time to make. I have several larger sized women in my family.. and she reminded me of them. They want to wear that cute little outfit they saw some size 0 model wear.. but "bigger". They don't get that it won't be flattering to their frame. (An example...One very plus sized 50+ yr old relative actually wore a long pink formal.. complete with ruffles at the hem and very scooped neckline.. to a reception. She looked like she was wearing her granddaughters prom dress!) Some women just don't get it. I think Angela's mom is that same way. (Anyone remember that first epi when they showed the mom in an atrocious sweater thing saying "Angela gets her taste from me!"? I want to say to Angela's mom.. umm honey.. if that is the case.. your daughter has NO taste!)
There's a wide range between a hip, tailored jacket and a dull purple sack with odd blue trim.

As "an everyday woman" myself (and a plus-sized one, alas) I would so much rather have worn Robert's outfit than Angela's! Maybe the judges should have been "everyday" as well and I guarantee the outcome would have been different. I don't understand why the judges don't see Laura's outfits as boring too? They have ascribed it as "her style" but it is definitely in the same category as Robert's (and I like both of them). I think the judges should have been auf'd - I'm going to really have to think twice about continuing to support this show when the outcome is SO arbitrary!

i AM IN SHOCK
while watching this episode, i thought the only two outfits that looked good were Uli's and Michael's designs. i cannot believe vincent's won over uli's. his dress was simple with a simple silhouette. the oversized collar and the belt like buckle through me off. also, he created something for a thinner woman, which must be easier because the body is similar to a model's body. Uli had to work with a truly plus-sized woman and she made kayne's mom stunning.
ULI should have WON
Michael is very smart with his concept and i loved what he did. the belt was weird looking - maybe if it wasn't as long and sticking up vertically
Laura's garment was really unflattering, though it did look well made and the concept was nice. Robert's garment was bad. he was out tonight --- for good reason. Angela's garment was soso, mainly because she used black. The outfit wasn't flattering, it was weird with the tiered skirt thing, and michael kors was right -- stevie nicks in black lol. i thought Kayne's garment was not bad at all. i liked the pant but the top was ugly and old. with minor adjustments, however, the top could have totally worked.
Now on to Jeffrey. i felt that his comments were very rude and uncalled for. i think because of the stress and the competition, he was very defensive with his work. angela's mom is a real trooper! i did not like his garment. although it was not the worst on the runway, it looked old and cheap. i do see his aesthetic/point of view - deconstructed, dark, almost goth. in terms of point of view, i like jeffrey's edge the most. BUT he is a mean person. as vincent said, "his true colors are coming out"
*******ps - i love Project Runway!!! however, the designers this season aren't as lovable as season 2 designers. maybe it's just me. right now, im rooting for uli and michael.
i hope someone will read this! lol. if not o well :/

You know, I wondered when it was said there was a villain on the show that it was someone other than Keith. I thought maybe it was Jeffrey. O.k. I don't normally post on here because I don't think people care about what I think, but I am so fumming mad about Jeffery's behavior. What a stinkin lowlife he is! And don't even get me started about his Mom. Talk about a enabler. first of all, where does he get off treating Angela's Mom like that? I can't believe he treated her with so much disrespect and all because he doesn't like Angela. I swear if one of my son's had talked to someone's mother like that, I would have smacked him up side the head, cameras or no cameras.
As far as HIS mom is concerned. She is probably a very nice woman, but considering he is a recovering alcoholic and junkie, her behavior tells me she might be the source of his problems and is enabler.
She should have apologized to Angela's Mom and not made excuses for him. If she's been making excuses for him like that all of his life, no wonder he's a alcoholic and junkie.
Shame on you Jeffery for acting so despicable and shame on him mom for doing the "Oh, my poor baby," thing.

I agree. Jeff is the designer and he knows what's best. This is a competition and although it would of been nice if he'd been able to make a jacket for her, it just wouldn't be possible in the time-frame given. He would know what he could and couldn't get done in time and if her mom can't understand that, than too bad I suppose.

What really bothers me is when people diss Laura as a mother. Um, excuse me, but I highly doubt her children are running around barefoot in thrift-store clothing. They are pampered puppies and we all know it. Just because Laura may act like the total mother from h*ll does not mean she's like that in real life.

He gets defensive too quickly. Imagine how Kayne would handle the situation if Michael's mother said she didn't like her colors. And then after Jeffrey was an ass to Angela's mom, he basically told her to get out of his face. As soon as I knew Jeffrey had Angela's mom, I said "He better be nice to her." And he wasn't! It's apparent that Vincent has compromising photographs of someone at Bravo who's in charge of deciding who gets auf'd or he would have been gone weeks ago when he sent that chainlink-saladbowl hat down the runway. Personally, I think they pity him -- ever notice how he talks about how he quit his job and cashed in his 401(k) at every opportunity?
Uli WAS robbed this time, but honestly, I would have loved, loved, LOVED to see Michael win his third in a row - and he would have deserved it. I think that dress was way more impressive than could be discerned on runway, but we couldn't have his model strip down, turn the dress around, and put it back on.
As for Jeffrey, he's obviously the Santino of season 3, sans the talent, intelligence and dead-on Tim Gunn impression. He's overstayed his welcome, but I think they'll keep him because he makes for "good TV." Gag.

Your disgusting....do you even know what your children are doing while your on the show? Do you care? Your comment about throwing "IT" on the pile with the other "ones" made me sick.....you only care about your own needs...your children are accessories.....the best part? All those people you are trying to impress....saw this...........I feel sorry for your children.
Holy crap! Some of the other designers have children too, I am sure that Laura didn't leave her children to forage in the woods.
I loved her joking about it.

i want to add this as after watching this program and angelas behavior i have to. i know angela personally, she is VERYYYYY passive/agg, to the point of almost being underlying violent, her mother sabatoged jeffrey, on purpose or just as a matter of deeply inggrained behavior. The backstabbing you have seen on this program is but a day in the life of miss a and the way her mother dissed him behind his back and on stage was simply disgusting, then cried to get even more amp. he's a designer, a's mother was *huge*, she would be very difficult to design for, jeffrey embraced the fact with grace, and she needed to appreciate the effort anyone would apply to the challenge.
You say you know Angela personally? Then you don't know her very well!!! I;ve known her ALL her life!!! Blood in fact! There is NO EXCUSE FOR JEFFREY's behavior - did you see anyone else on the show treat anyone elses sis or mom that way!!! Every one else listen and took in what their clients were telling them....... Jeffrey is a DISGRACE, yeah he has class, ALL LOW!!! It was known that he wouldn't even get his picture taken with his OWN mother when they were all there - so what does that tell you!!! And as far as Darlene being HUGE!!! Look at Vincent's sister, Kayne's mom, Michael's mom!!! Pleaseeeeeee!!!
yes, this would be expected from someone from the family, lots of !!!!, big caps, all that drama, yee haa, dramadramadrama. angelas mom sabataged jeffrey, period, she said things behind his back that she would not have said were he standing there. she asked for a tailored jacket when she is a plus size and an entire outfit must be made and finnished in a day, a day people, do you grasp what that means in real time? do you understand what it feels like to be burned at the stake for incomplete work? to stand up there with the cameras on you, and be [expletive deleted] slapped. he worked well in his challenge, he is a designer, from La, already designing for big clients, he is not working at tar-gay and there to kiss your, the 'client's' ass. the guests neede to show graciousness at being flown in to see their loved ones, put up in ny, and given such special attention. to add her ill sickly little comments onto an already stressed situation is well in keeping with the behavior that runs thru. and defenddefenddefend. nobody gonna talk about my mame. could we all just elevate to understand that this is indeed a program operating outside of the tri-county area and that artists and meant to follow their inner calling and attitude, bad or otherwise, that's what makes them artists. be glad angels'a mom didnt end up with Santino.
Jesus, I don't care who may or may not know anyone on this show, but everyone take a Xanax and chill out. It's just a show. Sure, I'd push my own mother out of a speeding car if it would get me home faster in time to watch it, but it's just a show.
ps. love you mom.
