A note to everyone who is playing our Fashion Face-Off game:
Recently, some users were reporting that the Fashion Face-Off game was not giving them proper credit for their correct choices of winning and losing designers. The problem has been fixed, and everyone's scores should now be correct based on their past choices. No data was lost.
(Techie reason why it happened: we have so many users playing the game -- tens of thousands -- that the script we were running to check everyone's designer choices and then update their total scores kept timing out because the record set was just so darn big. We broke the script down into multiple parts and it's working better now.)
If anyone is still having problems with an incorrect score showing up, or other problems with Fashion Face-Off, please post a note in this thread and we'll look into it.
And if you haven't played yet, why not start? The points awarded for making correct "in" and "out" choices increase every week, so even if you start late, you can still win!

It's weird, it shows I competed in the Face-off for the episode a week before I registered. If I had known I could choose the winner and loser AFTER the show, heck, I'd have been playing this game all along!

Hi I did get credit for the score from a few weeks ago, but today when I checked I did not get credit for last nights show and the worst part is this is the first time I picked both the winner and the loser. I hope you can help me. It really is a great show so I can beleive that alot of people are playing the game but I really would like to get this straightened out. Looking forward to the rest of the season and I hope there is not too long a break before the next one starts.
I didn't receive proper credit for selecting both the winner & loser. I choose Angela to get booted & Jeffery for the winner. Yet, I only received credit for Jeffery.
The problem is still happening. I picked my winner and loser on last week and I did not receive credit for picking Vincent. Vincent was voted off on tonight.

Hi. I just joined the game last week. I was so happy - I selected Jeffrey to win and Vincent to be out this week, but when I logged on tonight after the show, it said that I did not choose the winner or loser correctly. What happened?
picked Michael (win) and Kayne to (lose) a few days ago. But when I went to the face off site..It was not there. The page had said that I had submitted my designers....yuck !!, don't think this contest is going too well for a lot of us..??

Oh, dear. It sounds like there's a still a problem with scoring the game, for which we seriously apologize. (How embarrassing!) We're going to contact the original game developers and get to the bottom of this already.

I was looking at the Fashion Timeline, which states that in the 1960s, culottes, a type of sandal from France, became popular. To my knowledge, culottes were NEVER sandals, even to the French, who has a Sans-culottes political movement.

You are absolutely correct! Culottes were wide-legged shorts that, if you kept your legs together, looked like a skirt. Some even had panels in the front and back to disguise the split. In the late '60s, my high school had a hard time determining whether culottes were skirts (which were within the dress code) or shorts (which were not).
They've return several times under a variety of names, including split skirts and skorts. Never as footwear, though!
And don't get me started on the Fashion Timeline (or the Glossary). Never have I seen anything so flawed.

i'm sorry, and you can all make me feel less of a person.....but I love the clothes they make on this show.... some are truly beautiful......and today i found out you can bid on the clothes to own them so i went to check it out as i was curious.......holy c***.........they are for women height 5' 10" to 6' 2".......which for me is great......but size 0 to 2...OMG.......i can't imagine how thin i'd have to be to fit in that.......and people tell me i should have been a model........apparently not as i like food WAY too much and still look decent in clothes.....honestly they are beautiful clothes but sadly i don't know how much lettuce one can eat!!!!

I wasn't glad to see them come back and I was glad they went ahead and went again. As for Kane - I didn't like him from the beginning and glad to see him go. His fashion sense is "Elvis meets Madonna meets Bride of Frankenstien" - not sure what. He just doesn't have it to win.
Micheal is going to win because Heidi is going to give him extra points for being black... you all know it's true.
The way the judges just fawn over his every design makes it completely obvious, it's Heidi's show and she wants Micheal to win, period.

Just because she's married to Seal (who is African) doesn't mean diddley squat when its about a buck her reputation is on the line as well as three other internationally renown judges. I'm married to an Italian and happen to judge people individually on what they stand on not their ethnicity -- a...holes come in every color. I don't find this competition slanted in Michael's favor at all. How many competitors have been Black on this show? I almost stopped watching because of this very reason. This is utter nonsense, your argument is hogwash and your intellectual capacity is stunted. If you want to talk about unfair? Its Alison.
She was booted off without warning, how many times did many of them face the gauntlet with several warnings like Robert, Vincent, Angela, Kayne, Uli and Laura with their one note designs. I liked Alison's designs and believe she should have have been given another chance, even though she hadn't won a challenge it was she who should have come back. You're an idiot.

He even showed his competition how to walk the runway. When Kayne said you're ghetto, I'm poor white trash" it was funny we should find humor among our races because its there. Another thing, the brother listens to Tim/the judges. When Tim makes a comment or suggestion he follows the lead, i.e. having a problem w/his white T; he created a (great) shirt. The waste challenge he could have won so he did. Jeffrey's, Laura's were creative also, a toss up. Michael said from the start he was in serious trouble w/the blue(egged)Paris dress (only time his design faltered, a quick fix on the runway following judge's suggestion). He didn't go on like Vincent who never took advice. Michael is extremely talented, versatile, its just that simple. Oh, by the way, he happens to be African American. The man has a shot at winning this. Never mind this nay-sayer trying to bring him down w/an old school complex "because he's black" this "back in the day" psychological sabotage doesn't work w/this young crew. They are confident and proud of their "American" heritage. This Black Knight is making all the right moves, he's gorgeous and got the whole package. His props are well deserved he is all that and a bag of chips. He backs up his Blackness with sheer talent. I agree Alison could have been given a warning w/her waste dress. Robert should have gone then he'd already been on the chopping block w/several warnings so had Kayne Mardi'Gras creations, the Elvis look, and everday woman. Even though her waste dress was a fiasco, Alison should have had another shot. Her other designs were going well and Michael's talent speaks for itself.

Ok all just ignore DAVIDMARTIN or who ever wrote that quote. They are ignorant. Secondly, Michael has shown true talent the entire season. If he wins it will be because of his talent. If the judges are small minded enough to choose him because of his race then shame on them. HELP! first time posting. couldn't get 'post' to go anywhere, this is the first place I could write ( sorry, I know it's the wrong spot. Devoted PR fan with a thought. Remembering challenges of this year and previous years. Thinking that I HAD some creative challenge ideas. Remember the post office challenge? stupendous!! Hi. My Fashion Face Off score has not been updated. I chose Kayne as the loser in Episode 10 and I received "No points" for my selection.
I am going to be sick if you people eliminate Jeffery. This had better not be some obscure rule violation and you better be able to produce the person(s) who did work on his collection. He is the one person I watched this show for. Michaels stuff is main stream blah, Laura designs for the Cary Grant era and Uli........well it's just too Florida for my tastes. We came to see FOUR finalists and I very fearful we will only see three. If we see three without powerful vindication I for one won't watch Project Runway ever again.

i think what laura did to jeffrey was mean and wrong she just wanted to get jeffrey out of the way so she can win but what she don't know that her fashion really stinks so jeffrey or no jeffrey she will still lose so i hope laura loses

I am so disappointed in Michael's final showing. I thought he would really put on the ritz. I would've loved seeing Michael in a very nice suit. I thought for sure he would create a very classy line. His line looked like something from Delancy Street.
i cannot believe jeffrey won! his line was too trashy. i thouht laura wasnt daring enough and micheal was much too hookerish. I thought the underdog ULI was gonna pull an upset. i didnt think she was gonna win before but man when i saw her clothes come down the runway i was speechless-actually i couldnt shut my mouth i was shouting GO! GO! GO! with each new dress. whew! she really outdid herself. well maybe i am glad she didnt win because now she wont be too big for the common folk. Im with Heidi when she said she would wear every single peice in that line. I WOULD TOO! i actually want every single piece in that line and im not even a print type of chick but dammit it looked good! im glad that i live in MIami-maybe ill spot ULI around somewhere and give her a holler.
