Really, I would have LOVED to have been flown out to Paris, even if it meant turning around right away and leaving. If I had been in Angela's shoes and I had been told I had a choice... to go and lose or to just stay behind, I would have gone anyways, I'm sure she felt the same with it having been "her dream come true" to see Paris.
Better to have loved and lost than never have loved at all, eh?
It isn't clear that Angela was forced to turn around immediately and fly right back home. The cameras showed some sightseeing, including what may have been a cruise down the Seine River. I'll bet that they did a little touristo stuff before going to Parsons.

Jealous? possibly. IMO.. if I made a killer design.. and the judges told me it was a killer design.. then chose someone else.. I would be ticked off too! Again IMO Jeff was robbed in the waste management challenge. His was the only dress that moved and was well constructed. Mike had reasons behind his outift and described it well. but I think his was not as good as Jeffrey's. Jeff really thought he was winning that one.. but for the 2nd time.. the win went to Mike. So yeah... there may be some rivalry there. The thing between Angela and Jeff wasn't about rivalry.. imo...it was about one person not liking the other.

The promos for PR have Tim saying "this is the best group ever," and he is so right. But it's not the best season by far. Flying the group to Paris and immediately kicking one designer out was just a head-scratching cruelty. I found Angela to be annoying in the Miss USA challenge, but I think she redeemed herself later as team leader in the INC challenge. Still, even if I'd despised her (as I do Jeffrey), I would still have found auf'g her thousands of miles away from home to be inexcusable. As for Jeff, I'd originally thought he was edited to be the new Santino. But Santino was never mean and hurtful like Jeff. I would never buy his label or shop at his store. His people skills suck, and I really can't imagine that he keeps his rudeness in check with any client. He can think that Angela and her mom set him up, but he was just so hurtful and harsh that he should have gotten the boot last week. Pleasing the client should count for something. And I agree with the folks who wonder what's happened to Kayne? I love him, but like Robert, he started really strong then kind of fizzled with some weird choices. Same thing happened with Nick last season. I loved him, but I could see a strong start and then a fadeout.
I just can't get this bad taste out of my mouth...tonight's PR was just unpleasant and not fun at all...JMHO.
In many occupations people start strong and fail - like quarter horses, they have only so much to give - but Jeffery has "energizer bunny" venon - it just keeps on going. He's one bitter hearted soul. Poor him to live life with that attitude can never bring true joy.

That is just silly... he is already a successful designer. He is very talented.. I think he is MOST prepared to win... Michael is nice... but, I think he needs more 'edge"... we'll see... I still think they set us up (editting) with last weeks show... for the Jeffrey/Angela THING... it was a very successful. ploy...just look at the HATRED on these boards...
Michael needs more edge? What show are you watching?
be nice...that's my OPINION...
Being a great fashion designer is also about personality. if Jeffrey is going to continue having such a bad attitude how will he succeed? Honestly I would not buy anything from him as a client, I couldn't deal with his attitude. plus, I would not wear anything he has created thus far. Nothing has really grabbed my attention. Michael Uli, and Laura have made outfits I could see on the shelves.
Agreed.

Harsh much?
Will people just get over the fact that Jeff is an ass? We know, we get it...now lets move on.
It's hard to get over when he gets worse each week. He seems completely oblivious to his own faults. He's so critical!!
It is sad to see a recovering alcoholic & addict turn into such a bitter person...assuming he was a nice guy before he got clean & sober. I wonder if he was an angry drunk.
One can only hope he heals whatever is eating him up in his heart.
Still, it doesn't have to be said by a thousand newbs each freaking week how much they hate him. He did a good job this week, period. If people want to complain about him and call him an a** than go to the episode 7 thread and complain.
That's all I'm saying really.
I do not agree that he should have overdosed. Half my mom and her family are still (in their 40s) living like they did when they were 20...still junkies and alcoholics. One is now dead...apparent overdose. I would not wish anyone to overdose.
I didn't call him an a** either. I was simply commenting on a post. I read back a few pages as outlined in the rules and then posted my thoughts for the first time.
So being a newb I think I'm allowed to comment on Jeffrey since it is posted about this week's episode. And not having anyone else to talk to about his horribly critical spirit I felt the need to vent. Forgive me, but You don't have to read it.
I don't hate him. I pity him.
Blessings!

The only real connection I saw between designers on this season was Alison and Jeffrey, and Robert and most of the other guys--and sadly, those connections have mainly been broken up. The chics that are left don't seem to be as personable as last season either.

Also, did you consider that maybe the execution wasn't perfect. Jeffrey said the problem in this challenge would be execution, which sounds like a time problem.
The execution on Angela's mother's outfit would have been a problem. A) it was a woman's jacket in a very large size
he has done clothing for himself, therefore knows how to make the patterns
C) I honestly think he thought a jacket would take to much time and make her look frumpier than she already did
Face it kids, Jeffrey got stuck with "Rosanne" in the last episode and he was flustered. This episode, he was able to make clothes that he makes every day. Of course it is going to be easier.
Just my 2 cents

Totally agree. Besides, they did not do it to be mean, they did it as part of the challenge---to see if the outfits would travel well. Michael Kors called it, if it looked like a mess just standing there, it looked even worse after flying. Clearly, Angela did not think of the challenge, and just made some fugly rossette crap.

I am so tired of the Darlene thing. Jeff came very close to losing last week with that look. Obviously since we know his attitude, that would be the LAST thing he would want, to lose. People seem to think he made a bad outfit just to get even with Angela/make Darlene look bad. This contest means a lot to these designers. They are not going to deliberately design a bad outfit. Will you all get over the fact that Darlene is obese and there was literally no way Jeffrey could make her look anything but obese, especially since she wanted to be covered? Sorry if I sound harsh but I do sew, and I wonder how many of these complainers have ever sewn for themselves, and if so, how many of them have made a seriously stylish outfit if they are over, at most, a size 14.

For that, I am sorry and I ask for your forgiveness. I don't want anyone to crack, not Vincent, and not myself. I feel like I cracked at that moment, I feel like I sealed my fate with those words I used. Maybe I will not read these boards. All I came here to do was discuss the show. To be honest, as much as I adore Vincent, I am not completely immune from criticizing him, but I would never openly wish for him to have a nervous breakdown on the show. My views of the designers have been influenced by what has been seen on TV. I bet there is so much more we haven't seen. If it is true that these people really are like they are portrayed on TV, then we must be correct in our assumptions. I just would never wish anything bad to happen to anyone. TV is a very powerful and influential medium. It can be used for good or for evil, as cliched as that sounds. I don't want to lecture anyone on it but that's just how I feel and what I know about it. I will admit that I do not care for Jeffery's designs, however , he and Michael were the best this week. But...has anyone noticed how insecure and jealous he is of Michael? Michael is my favorite and I hope he wins. If one is good at your craft, you work hard and display your talents...that's that....why be jealous? The mind game he ran on Angela will not work on Michael, because he's strong minded and knows who he is and where he came from. So Michael is secure with himself. I think Jeffery is extremely insecure, which is why he is so jealous of Michael. When Jeffery won, Michael congratulated him because he is gracious. I don't know Jeffery is such a sad sack and waste of oxygen. Go Michael ! Go!
I don't think Jeffrey is a sad sack and waste of oxygen. I think he is a Santino without the sense of humor. He loves what he does and is good at it, believes strongly in his own talent, and expects others to appreciate it despite his personality. He trash talks more harshly than Santino did, but it's the same kind of mind game he's playing.
I think he knew he was right at the top in several of the challenges, but not winning one until now has frustrated him no end. That he was near the top pretty consistently was confirmed tonight when this challenge's scores were added to each designers cumulative score to determine the winner.

He definitely got robbed in the recycling challenge. He could be more gracious but I can understand his frustration having designed a unique, clever, wearable, very cool-looking dress using techniques that were way ahead of his competition... and then losing to someone who used materials that were easier to work with & came up with a simpler outfit. He should let it go, but I can appreciate where it came from.

I pity him.
Blessings!
Welcome Pearl!
What a nice post. Sorry about your relatives. Bravo's pushed all our buttons this season, I mean, who doesn't have a mom?
Stick around, there's nice folks here.

I actually liked Kayne's outfit. I thought it was flashy, maybe a bit kitchie, but fun. It was his personality all the way and I could see it on a "pop" star, like Ricky Martin or, um....I don't listen to pop, any other suggestions?
OT no comment on your comment but just wondered about your name-Shadow911
OT-Shadow is my nickname. I was shy, once upon a time, and most my friends were outgoing red-heads or blondes and here was this dark haired girl that said nothing. Folks starting asking folks "who's your shadow" and it stuck. As for the 911 part, there are other 'Shadow's that have log ins, so it was the only number that I knew I would remember. "wink"

If it got to him that much...it proves he's weak minded and will burst again sooner or later.

I can see your point, but Jeffery seem to be crazy to me and will take it over the top and out of bounds. He has no self control or self respect. In a competition like this, a contestant needs a level head and good concentration. He seems obsessed with Michael, content on beating him...instead of winning the competition. In a nutsell he's too unstable to pull it off.
I am going to respectfully agree to disagree on this one. IMO They are both very talented.. they just have different styles. Remember that Jeff already has a client base.. of rock stars. His attitude, I am sure, fits right into that crowd.
Yes but what makes you unstoppable is fitting into any crowd...only time will tell...
