As some of you may know, our lucky and talented Final Four Project Runway designers had their show today, Friday September 15th, at Olympus Fashion Week in New York. And three other former Project Runway designers -- Jay McCarroll, Daniel Franco, and Malan Breton -- have already presented or will soon present their shows there during this week, too.
If you'd like to discuss the photos that have come out from those shows, feel free to do so here! They are available online from some of the syndicated wires, such as Getty or WireImage; however, since the season is still going on, the BravoTV.com website will not be posting them just yet.
UPDATE (6:00 PM Pacific Time on Friday): Well, that "not just yet" has now arrived! Check out our photo gallery from today's runway show! A few of the photos are BravoTV.com exclusives. We hope to add some more photos when we all get back to work on Monday...

My daughter just called me after looking at the pictures from OFW. She thinks Uli will win and that Laura is the decoy show.
Her reasoning is that Laura is the only one who did not make a swim suit and that item is the surprise piece for the final 3. And from me personally, itfthat is true....Laura got robbed! lol. This is all on the condition that all of the pictures on getty images are all of the designs. You never know.

Uli -- I hope she wins. I wasn't a big fan of her on the show, and wanted Jeffrey or Michael to win, but she really elevated her designs for fashion week. They are just breathtaking. The silken fabrics look luxurious, she had a nice variety of necklines, and she had some beautiful items without prints, while still showing that she was a genius with prints. This is fresh, and not predictable.
Jeffrey -- Many items were also breathtaking, and I stared, admiring them for quite some time, thinking he was going to win, before I saw Uli's. They were elevated, more toned down, though still with a punk rock aesthetic. I was awed by these designs. The only things that threw me were the green and silver striped jacket and dress.
Laura -- Boring, completely predictable... reminds me of shopping at a dusty vintage second-hand shop. A variety of necklines, at least, rather than just plunging V's. I was a little frightened off by her sleeveless gown with the lace... a little transparent and reminded me of Wendy Pepper... This is hard for me to say because I love her as a person and love her wit. Would have loved to see some color!
Michael -- oh Michael... he designed with such class on the show. I wonder if he was just taming it down for the judges? The minute I saw the thumbnail images, the words "cheap [expletive deleted]" and disappointment came to mind. I was also brought back to some of the images in the portfolio he submitted, along with the judges' questioning of his taste level. I looked at the other designer's shots first. Then I decided to give him a chance and see if the enlarged shots looked better. A little, but really hate some of the colors and prints. And too many with the same rectangle at the sternum. These clothes looked like they were easy for him to make, and that they didn't take very long. This makes me wonder if he is the decoy. Very sad. He is so talented and I hope he is the fan favorite. As a person he is my favorite and he is brilliant. I wanted to see more from him at the fashion show.

Micheal is going to win because Heidi is going to give him extra points for being black... you all know it's true.
The way the judges just fawn over his every design makes it completely obvious, it's Heidi's show and she wants Micheal to win, period.
No way he should have won the "Recycled" challenge, no way.
I think she was threatened by Alison being more attractive than her too, fwiw.
I just think EVERYONE should be playing on a level field, and it's clear the field is slanted in Micheal's favor... because he's black.

I just want to know, what was UP with the pregnancy duds sported by heidi and Laura? IMO Laura looked slightly better, but only slightly. And Heidi's boots made me want to cry to myself. These women look so GOOD when they're pregnant! Dammit show it off!

I looked at the pictures and Jeffery seemd to "pull a Santino" in that he did a show of outfits that weren't as trashy as what he did the entire season. Didn't really like the unevenhem bit.
Michael went a bit trashy to me. I didn't really like his line. Then again I don't have the figure to wear that type of stuff anymore.
I loved Laura's line. Not sure that I would wear some of the feathers, but otherwise I liked it.
Uli was Uli and if she did win I would be upset. I agree that everything seemed to look alike after a while. She is great with patterned material, but I don't see her as someone to win PR.
I hope the bathing suit by the 3 doesn't mean that Laura was the smoke screen designer!

Photos don't tell the whole story, but from the photos posted so far, it seems that Laura's designs got a few detail shots that the others didn't.
Jeffrey's collection suprised me, as did Santino's collection last season. But it seemed overall not to fit his models as well(strictly judging from photos only). It was colorful, daring and took chances. Uli toned down the prints--don't know if it was a good idea to do so. Michael's only disappointed in that my expectations were so high.
Spring/Summer doesn't absolutely require a swimsuit(lots of designers just don't do them) or color. Lots of designers shown for Spring/Summer 2007 this year, including Kors, showed black, white and tan almost exclusively. So no swimsuit and b&w and tan/beige/ivory doesn't automatically mark Laura as the decoy.
The mystery lies in why Uli got Nazri for the show. Is Michael the decoy?(sob). Or at least not the winner of the final challenge, which Uli possibly won. I sense that there will be no decoys, especially since Kara Janx's collection was the best of the four last season, and hers was the decoy.
At any rate, if there is a PR4, the winning $100,000 will have to be upped to mean anything. One of bloggingprojectrunway's reporters got to speak with Chloe Dao and found out that $100,000 is only $60,000 after taxes.
In any case, the final four shouldn't have any problem getting lots of financing and job offers, judging from the collections

Notice how the judges have SLAMMED every designer at one point or another on PR... even Uli got [expletive deleted] slapped.
....Every designer except for Micheal of course.
The closest they cam to a slam was when they told him to tuck in those rabbit ears on one of his designs and then commenced with the fawning (again).
Michael is good, very good no doubt but there is also no doubt he's getting preferential treatment.
You know it's true.

I really don't think he has gotten preferential treatment. He is the only one of the last 4 that has consistantly shown he can be diverse and work to what a woman would actually wear. His fashions are also something that could go in any department store and actually sell.

She just bores me with the same design in a different print all the time and I think she is now boring the judges also.
Of the four left I think 3 of them have the opportunity to now go forward in the fashion world. One I think will never be more than what they are in a niche market.
By the way here is another link to see pictures of the runway shows from this morning. You can click on the thumbnail and it brings up a window with a larger picture of the fashion. Takes a while to load for me for some reason or it just could be there is a lot of traffic on the site.

Cool thanks!
You sound like a person with refined taste... so your pick is Laura no doubt.
As a straight male but I'm captivated by the design process of these very talented people and I also enjoy competition.
I'm not very politically correct I'm afraid, my apologies for any distress I may have caused anyone with my opinion.
I guess I started find flaws in the PR judging when they picked Vincent over Alison.... purely for his drama.

I actually like both Micahel and Laura. Uli has her place for fashion in Florida but it will not translate for most of the rest of the country.
Jeff does what Santanio did and that is what I call trash fashion. And the really sad thing is that Jeff is stucky back in the 80s with that.
I started out modeling when I was 14 so have been around the fashion world for a time and I am friends with a couple of designers. I see a lot of different kinds of things and like anyone else it is not all to my taste but I am not dumb enough to bring at least some of it into stock at my shop. Too easy to get stuck in a rut and never have anything fresh or for the younger generation that really has not formed a style.
I had a hard time picking a favorite to latch onto this season.

Well, at first I thought Uli's was the fake show, but then I started looking at the variety of designs. I just cannot imagine her showing so many different types of clothing - not just flowy dresses - unless she thought she had a chance to win. Of course then I think maybe she thought she had something to prove? The thing is, she's in pants! When have we seen her in plain colored pants and top? That's why I first thought she was the fake one.
The only other one would be Jeffery and I just can't see them not including him in the final 3, although I personally think it should be Laura, Uli and Michael.

Wow, I am surprised by a few things.
I'll do a little disclaimer that 1) I know sometimes it's hard to tell with pictures and 2) I really know nothing about fashion and what WOWs.
Jeffrey's was very different than what I expected. I really did expect rock and roll so will give him credit for his use of color and the sihouettes, but I thought it looked very pedestrian. I thought it looked safe for someone who is a legend in his own mind.
Michael - I don't know what I was expecting or maybe my expectations were too high because I just love him so much and I think he is so talented but, those belts were just an utter distraction. I was disappointed and it kills me to say that.
Uli was Uli. I think she is really talented. I can't say anything negative. It's just Uli.
Laura - I LOVED Laura's collection, but again, I think it's just all subjective. I'm 47, I like a more tailored look, I like black, I even like all those feathers. Her silhouettes are the type I always gravitate to so there's the attraction (and the bias???)
If Laura wins, I will be thrilled, although I think she has the talent, connections and capital to do it on her own. I think she should be very proud of her collection, so "carry on and make it work" Laura!
I still think Michael deserves to win this season despite my disappointment in his collection.

Uli looked nice except for her hair. It was falling all over the place-in one photo I saw. But at least her outfit looked pretty nice.
Laura was divine! As big as a house but oh, so elegant.
Jeffrey? Yuch!
Michael looked pretty good. Shame I didn't like his show. And to disagree, he did get a [expletive deleted] slap from Richard Tyler (just not to his face) about not protecting his dress better from the egg person. The guy was obviously on something...

There are lots of great articles and opinions on all four. From what I read Uli was predictable, Michael had the personality but his clothes were blah, Jeffrey did a "Santino" and his designs were good, Laura received great reviews for her collection. Although I tried and tried to find out more I think although Michael (like Daniel V a favorite) will not win. I think it will be Laura..

Just saw the PR site on OLympus fashion week. Doesn't show who designed what, but you can guess. The only one I was able to enlarge was the first, which I absolutely loved. Looked like a Laura design. Loved some, liked some, hated some. Guess they all can't be perfect. Were they designing for different tastes? I thought the designs last season were better. Oh, well.

I just viewed the Olympus pics on Bravos sity and must say that Laura's designs were by far the best. I am a Michael fan and initially, I thought the dresses that were Laura's were his when I looked on the official Olympus Fashion site. That site didn't attribute the outfits to the specific designers. Laura took every suggestion the judges made during the show and applied them to her designs. I would not be surprised at all if she is "crowned" this year's winner...

Just a thought though, I could be completely wrong. I liked Jeff's and Laura's, both seemed classy and tasteful, suprisingly enough coming from Jeff.

I did notice that about Nazri, though don't think Michael is auf'ed. I didn't see Lindsey or Marlinda either. Saw Camilla. Wondering if there is some twist or Uli pulled a Zulema. Will lose a lot of respect for Uli if that is what happens. That would be sad because I like Uli. My guess is it is Laura that is out or no one is out. Only say Laura because didn't see a swimsuit in her collection unless not all the pics are there. Don't think all of Michael's and Jeffery's are there either.

Correction did see Marlinda. Looks like Michael's model is Clarissa. If Uli did pull a Zulema, hope she doesn't win. Think doing that to Lindsey who got her a win and been loyal isn't nice. It causes unnecessary stress. Also, hope she doesn't win because we had a one-note designer win last time. Uli is Uli and like some of her stuff, but it is one-note.

I wonder about this, because I thought the judging was done after the Olympus fashion show. But maybe that's just editing. I went on to the Washington Post website and could find absolutely nothing about this. What day did the article appear? Decoy theory...Sadly, after reviewing the pictures on this website :http://www.realityblurred.com/realitytv/archives/project_runway_3/2006_Sep_11_final_four_rumor , I believe Michael is the decoy. Since Nazri is modeling for Uli, and it seems as though both Marilinda and Camille are still modeling for Jeffrey and Laura respectively, it makes sense to me that Michael is auf'd in the next challenge and Uli chooses Nazri because she is available. If that is true, then maybe it also explains why is collection is not what "we" all imagined it would be...Too bad because Michael was my personal favorite and I wanted him to win the whole thing!
