OMG, guys...
THEY MISSPELLED THOM'S NAME IN THE CREDITS!
Who the heck did the editing for this show, that they'd actually screw up the name of one of the stars???? There's no E in Filicia!!!!!
Please, somebody at Bravo, fix this in the future reruns -- it's a downright embarassing mistake.

i think Jai and Thom would be a cute couple. They sure get along well together. Jai is so young though. he's only like 24 or something.

I was saying the same thing! (Posted on the holiday board)
I started freaking out because I thought I was spelling it wrong all this time. Had to go and check EVERYTHING to make sure the spelling was consistent...very VERY bad mistake on whoever did the credits part!

Nah... it's just a real brother-type vibe, from what I've read. Jai's the young'un of the group, and Thom and Jai tend to go back and forth like that, like a younger-brother thing.
True, Fanatic - it's like that at work for me. Got an older co-worker who likes to play practical jokes and kid around with me; he's just like a big brother, even though I'm the oldest in my family. I'm saving up something reeeaal good to get him back from the spider incident!

I didnt see that, but if it is true, that is appalling. I was just reading the article at E! Online that TTB posted. They spelled Thom's name wrong there, too. But for Scout to do it in their own credits is totally inexcusable.

Here's the real question, though, which I've found no anwers to:
When are their birthdays (month/day/year)? I'd really, really like to know -- if nothing else, we'd always have definite ages. And of course, it'd be interesting to see what signs they are, etc.
Maybe they like to keep us guessing, so that if we see any of the Fab 5 in a bar, we can go up and ask, "Hey, baby, what's your sign?". With my somewhat limited knowledge of astrology, I'd like to take a stab a guessing their signs, if I may. Ted could be a Cancer. Jai maybe an Aries, Gemini or Libra. Carson possibly a Gemini or a Leo. Kyan perhaps a Scorpio - the sensuality sign! As for Thom, I cannot even imagine, so I'd leave that one up to the many FiliciaFreakFans here if they care to guess.

HOW, I REPEAT, HOOOOW CAN YOU LIKE BLAIR!!!!! i don't want to drasticly offense anyone, BUT JAI IS SOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!
did you ever ponder that the reason he wasn't in the video might POSSIBLE have be becuase HE'S NOT ONE OF THE FAB FIVE!!!!! HE WAS ONLY IN TWO EPISODES!!!!!! i don't really know why they used him instead of Jai in those TWO EPISODES, but Jai is now the permenant Culture Vulture! look in the FAQ's. (not here, the one in the section where you sent E-mails to the Fab Five)
and as for the whole suicide thing, i really don't know! where did you hear that anyway?

Original "culture guy" sues Queer Eye for the Straight Guy
The New York Post reports that one of the original members of the "Fab 5" is suing Queer Eye for the Straight Guy after being let go following the taping of the first two episodes. Blair Boone is suing the show for $105,000 in damages, the amount he says he would have been paid for a full year's work on the show. "The producers said that NBC and Bravo had to let me go, that it basically had to do with the fact that the show had a different idea with what they wanted to do with the 'culture guy,' " Boone told the Post. Boone, who quit a full-time job as an ad manager and writer for Metrosource magazine to go on the show, was replaced after two episodes by actor Jai Rodriguez.

I loved the making of the video also! They all looked so cute! Especially Thom! That was funny when that little girl on the street asked them if they were gay and he mentioned something about not having a date or something like that! I was shocked; I can't believe they don't all have tons of dates! The holiday show was funny also! Love you guys!!

I agree. Blair seemed fine in what little we saw of him. They barely showed him. I think all the anti-Blair stuff on the part of some fans of the show is disingenuous. You can like Jai without having to hate Blair. We hardly saw five minutes of Blair altogether and sometimes Jai doesn't have much to do either. The social aspect is so intangible... and unnecessary for some of these guys they've been making over.

I know this is kinda late, but yes, his 'do has widened. over-zhuzhing. Now, if he'd just let me s-l-o-w-l-y run my fingers ever so sensually through his silken strands, it would be fixed up in no time flat (pardon the pun).

I think Kyans hair is cuter when its shorter, like this vertical banner I am looking at to the right, where he is wielding his blow dryer like a weapon. <Wait, I just realized something. Kyan's ICON is something he despises. Is this ironic, or am I missing something?>
Now, Thoms hair was cute when it got kinda long and outta control, but thats because it didnt look like he spent a lot of time on it. But not spending time on your hairdo is such a "straight-guy" thing to do, so they "fixed" that little problem in the second season. Kyan, though, is obviously doing this new large hair on PURPOSE!
What the dill.

I agree that you can like Jai without hating Blair, but Blair truly did not possess the right kind of personality that makes this cast a tight-knit unit today. I saw the two episodes he was in and,uhm uhm - no, it wasn't working. And they showed as much of him as they did of the others. Sometimes you just have to realize that it isn't working and move on with your life. Apparently, in the beginning, he gave up his day job to rely completely on the show while the other guys did not - who made the smart move?

When the F5 were stretching out of their vehicle to look at the bridge traffic before the music started, to me it almost seemed like Thom had sort of a Simon LeBon (sp??) look about him as he peered ahead at the traffic, looking muy cool, I must say. Anyone else get that impression? And then to hear Kyan make reference to Duran Duran later in the program; that was funny. I can close my eyes and hear my son's daycare provider saying the same thing about the crush she had on John Taylor too. hee hee....
And as for me, I'm not into dance-type music in general (I'm a 70's/80's pop/rock old f*rt - LOL), but I do like ATJKGB a lot. It does get me grooving. Go figyah. ;-) Kudos to all involved in the production.

I am actually thinking of having a Queer Eye marathon but not at my house my mom would kill me if she knew I taped the shows and all that she is not openminded at all but one of my friends actually said I could have it at her house and guess who is seriously thinking of coming? Thats right the guy in my math and English classes Yeah! I now call him Jai all the time without meaning to and it kindof ticks him off but if someone says Jai is ugly he takes it all personally because he looks like Jai. One of my friends actually believes that they are related! Anyways but when I have my little marathon thing I will think of all of you wonderful people out there. Especially TTB Ahmcat and ticktick who have all been so cool and nice to me! I love you! Hey I just noticed we are all like a huge family talking about 5 of our relatives who we love and hope are doing well. I like that. Anyways that made no sense I dont think it did anyways. Right, I'm sure we've all seen the episodes with Blair... he's BORING!!! He doesn't talk and just sorta follows them around. I'm not going out on a limb when I compare him to a handbag. He was carried around by Ted, Thom, Kyan, and Carson. Jai has a cute personality and is an individual asset to the group. He can cry and sue, but he's never gonna be JAI!!!! OK yesterday was not a good day for me. at 5:15p.m. we got a call from my dads brother and we found out that my Grandpa died at 5:oop.m. ohio time. He dided in a restaurant before his food came. He was 85 years old. I loved him a lot and so as i was crying uncontrolablly I turned on the tape of the making of the Queer Eye video and watched the beginning of it. It really cheered me up. I mean I still miss him, but it is still a huge blessing to be cheered up at such a sad time. So I dont know if you guys even read this but if you do I am so greatful that you guys are on the air because it cheers me up all the time especially when I have been harrassed at school, which is pretty much everyday. So incase you are wondering which line it was that cheered me up here it is...
J- Im actually really excited because I get t odance in this club with this amazing dancer...
Th- Are you gonna actually learn how to dance?
J- Im just gonna be...
K- Are you gonna be wearing a thong?
J- Im just gonna...
T- Are you gonna be wearing a dress?
J- Im just gonna be step shuffle and...
C- (says something I cant really understand)
Th- Are they gonna dress you up as a man?
J- No
Th- oh i love it when they dress you up as a man
J- Isnt it fun?
Th- ( says something I cant really understand cuz I wasnt really paying attention)
K- I think you make the best drag king ever
J- Your on the set of the making of our video with widelife and symone of the amazing symones
C- All things get better people
Th- They do
(Pause)
C- And we just ran over a pedestrian
J- Oh whatever
K- Yeah we have insurance
C- Oh whatever
ANyways that just really cheered me up just like the show always does.
Well I love you all and hope you had an amazing Christmas!

My only complaint about the video is that it's too short. Only three minutes long! I hope that there'll be an extended version for the clubs!
BTW I hope that "All Things" will get into the US Top 40. You hardly hear any dance music on pop radio these days, we sure could use something like ATJKGB on the airwaves right now!
