Share your thoughts about the behind-the-scenes special focusing on the making of "All Things (Keep Getting Better)", the first-ever Queer Eye music video.
OK kiddies...IT WAS SO TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!
One thing that I can say, having been to NY numerous times, I can't believe that our guys actually got the bridge closed down for TWO HOURS to make this thing. I can hear all those morning commuters in NY now: "Damn homosexuals! Got the bridge closed and everything else! Now I have to drive through the city!" I thought the video was fabulous, and I love it that they shut the bridge down *just* for our boys!!! Thanks New York, for understanding that we NEED this to survive. TTB, got any medication left?

I lumped this together with the holiday special board but QE is my life so there's always time to repeat it, with some additions...
I really loved the making of the video - Simone has an excellent voice! Could have been brought to the forefront more, though. My husband-of-a-million-wives looked absolutely LUSCIOUS! And Jai kicked butt on the dance floor (hope my sis caught that)!

All I know is that at the end of the program my cheeks hurt from sitting and smiling watching the Christmas episode and the video production. Isn't that a wonderful feeling? Just to sit and smile...
Fantastic and oh so FUN!!! It was great to see these guys in a different forum, but still in their element. This video ROCKED!! It made me smile the entire time. Thanks guys!!!
I can't wait until they tzuj up TRL. It is a great video, even though I don't care that much for Wayne Isham's past music videos.
Wow! There sure are alot of newbies on here tonight. Welcome all. This is a fun board. You'll like it here. Jai can really cut a rug. He really shined. I loved the hair on that woman (Asian or multiracial, perhaps?) with the chihuahua. Kyan, color my hair like that, please? BTW, in the QE shows, Kyan looks gorgeous close up, but in this making of the video special, when he was close up, he had on a whole lot of foundation, self-tanner, eyebrow gel or something on. I know, I know. It's all for the cameras. Next week, we get reruns. Anyone know when the next season of new shows starts?
The show was great and I felt bad for the guys being so cold. (Carson should have let them wear those faux pas t-shirts under the dress shirts just this ONCE!) It was fun seeing them doing something slightly different and watching the making of the video. I hope to see this one again. It was too short as someone else said.

I remember when they shut down the Brooklyn Bridge. i think they taped this thing back in the beginning of November. I recall on the NYC traffic listing websites that it was shut down in the middle of the night, but I had no idea it was for this. I thought was just some movie that had the characters jumping off the bridge, or some scary scene it it. But NOOOO it was this music video.
It was soo awesome to see them, in more of their personal side.
Did you see that little girl who asked them questions and she fell silent, and she wanted the "straight answer." That was funny.
I hope to see this video on MTV, and online. I want to see it more and more.
Oh my gosh it was sooooo funny. And Carson "picking" out that guy in the red cap who was hot. And all the guys agree, but we never see the guy. Maybe it was a ploy of some sort.
And the Shakira thing, with that lady and the hair, that Carson mistook!
And what was the fashion faux pau (spelling?) that Carson said one cannot wear an undershirt beneath their suits so they were really cold.
Simone is amazing too, she is most certainly a Diva, and works well with the Wildlife guys.
Thom again looks like a amazing person, nice, sweet, caring....he seems to naturally have the ideal personality---so attractive.
Jai excellent in the dancing, very similar to the MTV Behind the video show thing in his little camera blurbs. And that he got to meet J Lo at the Las Vegas Celebrity Poker thing. That first episode tat had Ben in it, he and I am sure the other guys were invited.
Ted was great with some remarks.

This video was such a happy, feel-good type song, just like the show itself. I loved the bridge scene and the club scene. The "making of" feature was great because it allowed all of us fans to see how much work and time went into filming it. I was especially moved when Jai was talking about how self-conscious he felt about his big dance scene, and then to see the guy dance! I can't believe he was ever worried about it, appearance or otherwise. I have a whole new appreciation for him! It also was very insightful as to how the Fab 5 are so successful with their straight subjects, because they know first-hand how it feels to be self-conscious and vulnerable. This just makes them even more Fab!
Anyone know the Brand/style # of Sunglasses Jai was wearing in the Music Video special???

I am so totally in love with these guys. The night was super. And watching them doing their video was AWWWWWWWSUMMMMMME!!

The video itself turned out great. My favorite scenes are Thom's decorating and Ted's with the backlit champagne glasses. Too smooth!

What a treat that was to follow up the Holiday Show! It all Keeps Getting Better for sure! I can't get enough of these Guys. Even watched the Oprah rerun of the Guys yesterday too!
I seen (and recorded) this music video last night when it premiered and I absolutely loved it. It's a very creative idea and I enjoyed it greatly. I'm sure I'll be re-watching this for a while.
The video was nothing short of FABULOUS! I am so proud of the Fab 5 - normal gay guys making it big, and putting a good face on the community! "All Things Keep Getting Better" is already playing in clubs near me, and it gets everybody on the dance floor.

I was noticing that eyebrow sauce. Im thinking the cameraman could have backed up during the interview segments. Or maybe applied a Barbara Walters-style, "I am in heaven with Kyan" fuzz filter.
Okay, and kyanfans, what are your thoughts on Kyans widening hairdo? Does he need to check himself before he wrecks himself?

Oh, but Jai is a stage veteran! I was really surprised that he would have that type of performance anxiety or body-consciousness. From what I know about theater people - they love flaunting anything and everything about themselves!

Way too long for any of us! I hope Bravo throws the original 11 episodes back into the schedule. I cant deal with just seeing the same Toale, Miller, Smith, Morrissey, Reunion rerun salad.
Oh My I loved this venture that you all made with the Fab Five!! A video I would not have expected that in a million years and when I saw it I was so impressed cause it was all so put together, it was really nice to see something different with the guys. Just for the record I have taped it and already watched it over ten times just cant get enough I guess. Keep up the good work and I will be waiting for more!!

The video was absolutely fabulous. Just like the shows, the 'making of' and the video is just a hugely positive thing.
I'm out here in Los Angeles and everyone is talking about it. I only wish Sanker could get Simone and the Fab 5 out to the Palm Springs White Party next year ... that would be Fab!

Did anyone else see in the video when kyan had his hand on Jai's ass? I think it was when they all had their backs facing the camera. I think they were taking a group picture. I heard that Kyan has a boyfriend, but he and Jai seems really cosy!!

I want to respond to when the next season starts. I believe it starts in January. The only reason I say that is that I work with a woman who is from NY. Her son John still lives there. (Also her daughter, who lives in downtown Manhattan, watched them make their video. She thinks she is in the background of the street scene) Her son John sent his resume in to be on the show, back in September. He was interviewed by a production team and told that if he was picked he would either be in the November or January shows. Alas, he didn't make the cut. He was considered, but rejected. He has since seen Carson on the street in New York, and said he is quite friendly. So I think the new season starts in January.

I just had to check the Bravo schedule because February is a long way off for me too. January's schedule includes a marathon on January 1st and then reruns of the last 5 episodes - nothing from the original season. Its going to be a long month for me!!!

Ok I just know someone out there is going to think I am stupid but was that a guy or a girl Jai was dancin with. At first I thought it was a girl but then I noticed how muscular the persons legs were so now Im not sure but Either way Jai is awesome and I so look up to him. Ive always wanted to be an actress, singer, and dancer and he is all three. He inspires me to keep it up and this music video makes me want to dance my way to the top! LOL.

It's a woman - a professional dancer. If you look at any pics of Jai's legs, you'll probably notice that his muscles are well defined too. And if you do decide to take up dance, you'll have those kind of legs too! Heck, maybe I should take up dance! "OWW!" My knees just kicked me!

Why stop with just one video!!! Within the Fab 5 and the producers of the show, there is enough material for additional music, songs and dance. The Fab 5 and Simone have enough character and talent to carry out an entire C-D collection of music and dance. Hey, it worked for Duran Duran, it will mega the Fab 5. I will even volunteer to be their assistant on the set. I reared a family of 25, I can sure take care of 5 great guys. Keep up the great work.
I really liked the video and I don't want to be mean but I really don't care too much for the song. It is catchy and easy to remember but something about it irks me. Seriously, I wonder what the guys think about it. Infact, I wonder what type of music they're into. Hmmm...

I just love the way Jai and Thom go back and forth with each other. I wouldn't be surprised if there is something there.....but I wouldn't mind fighting Jai for Thom.

I have not seen anything yet and still waiting for it to air in Vancouver, but I sure do agree with you. For me its something to look forward to on my weekends just and an hour to sit and smile is all I need. =)

That's what I found, too. Here's the real question, though, which I've found no anwers to:
When are their birthdays (month/day/year)? I'd really, really like to know -- if nothing else, we'd always have definite ages. And of course, it'd be interesting to see what signs they are, etc.

Nah... it's just a real brother-type vibe, from what I've read. Jai's the young'un of the group, and Thom and Jai tend to go back and forth like that, like a younger-brother thing.
