Put 15 fashion designers together in one room, some of them holding grudges against the others. Add one wise mentor, one beautiful supermodel, and two savvy judges. Then add a splash of controversy and a dash of funny outtake videos. Mix well. What do you get?
Why, it's the Project Runway season 3 reunion special! And oh boy, is this one a doozy... Enjoy!

Since we know these reunion specials always take about 6 or 7 hours to tape why can't we have a 2 hour special? I'm sure no viewers would object in the slightest.

While we are waiting for the reunion show, I'm posting a review of Malan's Fashion Week collection by
Shanelle Rein-Olowokere..of Entertainment Weekly.
Having the dubious distinction of being auf'd so early into season 3 didn't put a damper on Breton's big design plans; it probably just gave him more time to assemble his masterful spring '07 collection, which was unveiled at the recent New York Fashion Week. The collection — in mostly white and cream hues, with dashes of red and black thrown in — was sophisticated and obviously inspired by lingerie. The gorgeous pieces (loose silk pants paired with see-through shirts, bathrobe-style dresses, and fitted sheaths with dolman sleeves paired with a contrasting sash) made us wonder why Breton was let go so early.

This is a review of Alison Kelly's Fashion Week showing by Shanelle Rein-Olowokere of Entertainment Weekly...
Alison Kelly
Season 3
Yes, her style was a little more ''New York downtown hipster'' than most women could take, but she was cute, doe-eyed, and full of promise. And we have to give her credit for never deviating from her aesthetic. (Remember her monochrome dog walking outfit complete with a bouffant? She was sooo ahead of her time — Scarlett Johansson wore a similar look at the L.A. premiere of The Black Dahlia.) Her new spring '07 line, Dahl, which debuts exclusively this fall at shopbop.com, is full of girlie mini dresses, cropped jackets, and simple shifts. The collection, Alison says, is based on ''an old Victorian dollhouse with antique furniture and inspired by the late gothic era with a '60s flair.'' Okay, so clarity in describing her designs was never Alison's strong suit...

Crucify me if you will, but I loves me some Keith Michael, and I've been waiting for this show since ep 4. Call him a villain, but he's the quintessential villain, nuff said.

Agree wholeheartedly! I love how he first tried to say that it wasn't in the contract until everyone called him on it. And they just LET him walk off production when no one else could even go to the bathroom alone?!
Oh, lord. They just started with the "turn me on" vincent creepy-freaky thing. [Full body shudder]

This is so weird, and even a little frightening. If this was season one or two, or even the beginning of season three, there wouldn't have been just three pages of posts by now, there would have been more like 33. I still have to wonder if the shark has actually been jumped.

It's been this way for two weeks now. Agree this is kind of weird.
As for jumping the shark ... if PR has - this season may have been it. I think the Mom epsiode and not voting off Jeffrey - or at least taking him to task for his attitude toward his client has dampened everyone's spirit here.

I had thought it was weird that no one commented on his behavior. Even fashion is a service industry and there's always someone else.
Then I decided he was the designated jerk. Every one of these reality/contest shows has one.

What a funny episode! Heidi showed a lot of personality and character. Why is Alison friends with the two biggest guy jerks on the show? That is a little weird and makes me wonder about her. I love how Lara teases Uli. Vincent is truely delusional and i'm not saying that to be mean he's really insane and psycho

I have to say, I'm surprised none of the contestants seemed all that hammered. On past PR reunions, as well as the TC1 reunion, there have been at least one or two contestants who threw down the margarita pitcher and caution to the wind, and embraced their inner partier.
I missed that this time around. Or was I just too tipsy-out-of-boredom to notice?

I Like Jeffrey - - and I hope he wins. I think he is the best designer of the four.
As far as the mom episode - - I agree with Jeffrey (not necessarily how he handled it) - - but the mom was whiney - - not clear on what she wanted - - and did not speak up until it was too late for Jeffrey to change it.
I try as much as I can to ignore editing and get the big picture. And that is the picture I see.
