I don't really mind that she got the position, because this weekend, she has to give it away and she will undoubtedly mess it up somehow. I'm going to find it very entertaining! Is that mean of me? (the Devil Angel side of me is coming out)
JG
Well, speaking as a person who is convinced she'll be piloting the big jumbo jet bound for H-E- double hockey sticks, NO.
Besides, all angels have a little devilish side to them, right?...sort of like the spice to go with the sweet.
We'll get you a T-shirt that says "99.9995% Angel."
How's that?
Deeva
To be completely accurate, it would have to be closer to 80%, but I'll go along with 99.995%!
Speaking of spice, has anyone tried the new Pepsi Holiday Spice? I tried it recently and if you like something that tasted a lot like cinnamon in your Pepsi, you'll love it! Personally, I don't so now I have about 20.5 ounces in a 21 ounce bottle. UGH!!

You know I think of this group like family when I start asking you to fetch me something while I'm running around trying to get ready for poker night. (Oh geez, I can't say poker without thinking about Kyan now.)
I went to my Italian deli & they had bottles of Pom Wonderful! So I bought a couple, but I can't remember what the recipe is or who's Ep it was in. I tried a quick search, but they should call it "Product Maze" instead of Guide.
So pretty please does anyone remember? I've got about an hour to call one of the girls to stop & get ingredients. Thanks!

It's something like a tall glass with lotsa ice, fill it almost completely with Pom Wonderful, and then top it with soda water. I personally hate soda water, so i used 7-Up. It still tasted really good!

I don't recall the exact quantities but it's just Pom and seltzer water. I've gotten really addicted to it, and just use a little bit of Pom and a lot of seltzer because the Pom is REALLY strong and sweet. Maybe 1/8 cup Pom in 8 oz seltzer?
The first time I tried it was right after that episode (I don't remember which one either) and the checkout girl remarked on how they were suddenly selling a LOT of Pom.

WHAT?!?!?!?! When did you hear about this? Doesn't really matter...YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! ::JG jumps up and down and claps excitedly and starts singing:: Its coming! Its coming! Its on its way! It'll be here soon, any day! The DVD we treasure will be a real pleasure! The culture guy we love, whom we know is sent from above, will come into our room, and save us from certain doom. The design doctor we know, shall marvel at our flow, and grimace at our use, of colors like chartreuse. Our fairy godstylist will romp through our wardrobes, and laugh at our silly snowglobes. The cuisine specialist will bring intricate dishes to our tables, but thinking mole' is easy is one of his fables. The grooming guy we adore, will clean our bathroom floor, and bring us into the world, with our hair newly curled. The Fabulous 5, will come into our hive, present us with a jive, and make us alive. They'll rearrange our house, with culture they will douse, bring life to our skin, give us recipes to impress our kin, and best of all, TAKE US SHOPPING!!
Okay that was terrible, but what do you expect off the top of my head?

I've seen who the SG's are going to be on the Thanksgiving Show. If you could pick who would you like to see on one of these shows?
I would pick:
Kevin Downey Jr. (Actually when Carson was talking about him at the Home and Garden Show I thought maybe he was going to be on-even Kyan quoted on the episode he'd like to go back and check up on him.)
Andrew Lane-I wonder if he is still on the QE crew? I think that episode is so funny and he really got the business from the boys! Probably cuz they worked with him!
John Verdi-another classic one and to quote Carson from a radio interview one of his fave episodes cuz the guy was a challenge. Also a funny episode and I'm sorry I think John was so sweet with his girlfriend and the chocolate episode in the gardens-whew! And of course the tanning booth-which sends me in Kyan bliss!
Speaking of Kyan(which I do alot!)-Richard Miller
Kyan to me just shined on this episode dealing with his toupee-I was so proud to be a Kyanite after this! Even though his mother wasn't happy-would just love to have him show up with her at the loft!
And please can somebody refresh my memory-the sweet older gentleman who lost his wife. I don't know why I can't remember his name now but I loved that episode. The boys were so wonderful with him and it was like a man and his five sons. That episode brought tears to my eyes. I would like to know if he is still dating that lady friend of his.

The article worded that really weirdly, and even as I assumed it was the Simply Red guy (whose name I obviously do not know) I was still wondering. You're SO right about restarting musical careers, though. Especially careers from the 80s. That never seems to work out very well.
