When: June 2004
Where: On the street corner outside Nederlander
He was wearing: Faded jeans, baby blue shirt, black leather jacket, baseball cap
He looked: Tired, and a little stressed, but we got him to grin for us! ::nearly faints at the memory:: When he took his cap off he had hat hair, but it was hott!
I was wearing: Khaki skirt, navy blue matching tank and blouse.
I said: Hi
He said: Hi
Me: How are you?
JR: It's been a long night. And you?
Me: (with a big grin) Never better.
JR: That's always good. (short pause) I take it you know who I am.
I nod.
JR: (another pause) Ok, so that's cool.
Me: Are you surprised cuz I'm not like totally freaking out?
JR: Yeah.. a little.
Me: Yeah, it's taking all I have right now, but I figure you guys get sick of that after a while.
JR: (with a little laugh) Well, thank you. I appriciate that.
(At this point, my mom's yelling at me that we gotta go)
Me: Well, that's my cue. It was nice to me you, Jai.
JR: It was nice to meet you too... you never told me your name.
Me: (I tell him my name) I wish I didn't have to go...
JR: Maybe I'll see you around sometime?
Me: Doubt it. We leave for home tomorrow.
JR: Where's home?
Me: Ohio.
JR: Yeah, I guess that will be kinda hard..
Me: If I'm ever in the city again, I'll look for ya.
JR: (grins) Cool.

And then we got hugs!!!!!

It was the BEST night of my life!! (well.. so far! lol)

So theres my lovely little story. I'm looking foreward to going back more than anyone could ever know!
