No offense to any of you astrology buffs, but don't you have to know birth times for any of these charts to be accurate?

None taken, KCee. What we're talking about now doesn't really require birth times. You use the birth time (and latitude/longitude of birthplace) to calculate a person's rising sign. The signs that the planets are all transiting through on the day of someone's birth are usually there all day. I think the moon transits through the signs most quickly, like every 1.5 or 2 days, so a birth time might be helpful in pinning it down for certain. Other planets (usually the larger, outer planets like Neptune and Pluto) transit through a single sign for years or even decades.

There are plenty of astrology books that have pages and pages of charts that will tell you the planetary positions in your chart simply based on the year you were born. We can probably find a lot of that online, too.

So we can talk about Carson having his moon in Sagittarius and be pretty close to what that means to his personality, but if we wanted to get a really precise picture, we'd need his birth time/place to calculate his rising sign and some parts of the rest of his chart.

The rising sign, IMO is one of the three most influential aspects of someone's personality (along with the sun and moon) so I don't like to calculate someone's chart without a birth time/place.

Somebody jump in here and correct me if I'm wrong. It's been a while since I've brushed up on my astrology.
Deeva

Hey, KCee!!! Hey, Deeva!!!
Don't worry, KCee hun, no offense taken at all! *wink* What Deeva said it's definatelly correct, to calculate a person's moon you don't need to have the time of birth, only the location and date of birth... The moon really transits quickly and gets a planet in any time... The thing about having the time of birth to calculate the rising sign is necessary because you need to calculate the lagitude and longitude, so you can have your 'personal planets position', in wich you will find the exact position of the planets by the TIME you were born... The rising sign is found at the 1st place in the area, with 12 places, each one representing one particular thing in your life (for example, the 7th place represents your 'love life' so if you have a 7th filled with planets, the cahnces of you getting married sooner are pretty high, also depending of wich planets/signs are filling that place), so when you calculate EXACTLY with the time of birth, you'll have your 1st place filled with a planet, and that planet will represent the sign correspondant to your rising sign... Oh geez, I'm trying not be so confusing!!! Sorry!
So, we can calculate the boys' moon because we have their birthdates and location, so all we gotta do is calculate where the MOON was transitting, and you don't need a time to do that... And a moon can define a lot of a person's personality, specially because doesnt' matter how old you are, the moon will always remain in it's original characteristics, while the rising sign starts to show up stronger in your personality when you're between 19 and 21, then you get more of it than you got before... *smile*
The most reliable charts gets you a small possibility of you having a cusp in any of that 12 places, so if you have many cusps in many places, it means that the chart is not very good... There's a lot of it though, you need to test it individually to see the results!
Hey, KCee, I really hope I've helped you, dear! *wink* Sorry if I was confusing!
Oh, and Deeva, congrats, girl!!! You're sooo good!!! *2 thumbs up and a hug!*
Now, to both of you, lots of huggies and I really hope you could've get it without screaming like crazy around the house! lol

I don't think Thom would like my room ether too many things suck to the walls with duck tape. I have this penon for kids decor. Kyan would't like the mess and clutter

My room in two words is "boho rainbow", and I have cool different-color lights everywhere, but the trellis with all my stuffed animals would have to go!

One thing they would like? The home-made poster my friend gave me after I won second place at the state spelling bee last year! It says, "Way to go! Snaps for Maddie! Five fab ways to celebrate!" Then there are pictures of each of the fab five. Under Carson, "Go shopping," under Kyan, "Get your hair done," under Thom, "Redecorate your room," under Jai, "Listen to some jazz," and under Ted? "Have chocolate fondue!" I bet they would just love it.

Geez, duck tape really kills the wall painting! lol But it's so cool to have lots of posters attached!! Although, almost all of mine are framed, there's only a few ones with duck tape, but I love them!
I guess Thom would laugh quite a lot about it, then he'd probably cry of desperation or kill me! lol
But it's nothing way too horrible! lol Plus, I have so many teddy bears, but there's only one that I love the most, and he's "Ted Teddy Bear"... It's as adorable as my Teddy!
Mmm... But I'd love to have the guys around here, even if it was only to the 6 of us (the 5 boys and meee! lol) to go out for a walk or to a bowling or something! It'd be so funny to go to a bowling with them! *giggles*
Heeey, lots of huggies to you!!! :-)

On the first season of The Apprentice, they had a challenge where the teams met with different celebrities and made up things to auction involving the celebrity for charity. The Fab Five were assigned to one of the teams and guess what the team came up with? A night of bowling with the F5! Wouldn't that be SOOOO INCREDIBLE? It auctioned for a high price, I bet!

TAURUS (Apr 21 - May 21)
Astrology books say they are persevering but HA! Stubborn, stubborn, stubborn. Taureans are slow to catch on, conservative to the point of reactionary and appallingly gluttonous. There's no stopping them once they've made their mind made up. Unfortunately, it takes them so long to make up their mind, nobody's around to hear what they finally said.
Mitigating factors: Fun at orgies especially if catered.
Those born under the sign of Taurus include: Lenin, Saddam Hussein, Eva Peron, Jim Jones.

"Conservative to the point of reactionary" LOLOLOL! Wow. But the rest of the stuff is true - I'm anything but decisive, that's for sure.
Man, I loved this stuff, I'm sending it to all my friends! Thanks, whiskers!

At least I'm not with any of the Nazis.

Whiskers, whiskers... *wink* You got me! lol I've cheated once when I was playing cards with my grandmother! She was my partner though, so I didn't cheat on her, I cheated her 'friend' and partner, of whom she kinda liked, kinda disliked, so I guess I made her day by helping us to win (hehe) and beating them up, even though she still doesn't have a clue about how that 'miraculous card just came into my precious little hands'! lol *nudge*
The depression stuff is right though, but my you guys already know what was my depression factor... =(

~~~ do y'all have things called 'mud rooms' ?? this concept (entry area where messy shoes / coats are stored). heard on a deco program, and, wondered about the geographic origin of the term. no, really, i did.
Your temperature is SIXTY?? Where are you? Wherever it is, I want to be there too! It's not been above 15 here today, and we've had 70 mph winds and I'm already sick of winter.
I don't think we really have mudrooms in NC. Although that would kind of describe my entire house.
The mudroom is the little room off the kitchen before you get to the back door in most houses. Of course I live bassackwards so the mudroom would be where the front porch is.
Most people who have decent mudrooms and renovate, turn them into breakfast rooms or first floor bath or laundry. They regret itwhen the heating bill arrives. Every time I open my door.. it's like tossing a fistfull of $20.- bills into the air! (It's enough for me to turn over my WELCOME mat to the opposite side that says BEGONE!
You know, Nat, you could get Kyan's book, Beautified, off of Amazon. Don't worry about living in Brazil. Personally, I live in Massachusetts and have only met the boys once and that's only because I went to a book signing in New York last year. My point is most people in America have not met the Fab Five either.
That's probably why mudrooms don't seem to be such a big thing here - it's not usually that cold. Well, until THIS WEEK. Here it seems like the back door just goes straight into the kitchen in most houses. Except mine where there isn't a back door and the kitchen is teeny and just separated from the livingroom by a bar.
There's a shop here that sells welcome mats that say GO AWAY. I'm so tempted to buy one, but our neighbors already think we're weird and antisocial so I'm afraid they wouldn't think it was very funny.
OMG, that would be awesome!!! Geez, d'you think they're good at bowling? I know I'm not! lol Sometimes I even think if I shouldn't be wearing glasses, once I threw the ball so clumbsy that it rolled down and it stopped at an old lady's foot, then she grabbed the ball for me and said "Sweetie, you gotta throw this ball in order to hit the pins in THERE, d'ya see, not my feet!"... OMG, that was so embarassing! lol I imagine if Carson saw it, he'd laugh at me all night! :-) But I wouldn't care, in fact I'd laugh at myself with him too, because C'mon, that was ridiculous!!! lol
Mmm... You had a great idea! Loved it, hun! :-) *sighs over and over*
I'm looking at their pics now, and geez, it'd be soo great if I took a pic with them and they sign it for me...! :-)
Hey, I was just wondering... Since the internet is a world wide tool, d'you think any if the boys ever came here to check the posts? Just a thought... :-)
Lots of huggies, sweetie!!! Take care!!! :-)
NAT*-*
LOL, wow, I guess in bowling it's pretty important you actually throw it down the lane...?
I haven't seen any of the F5 ever on here, but I really wish they would come on just to say a few words because I know how busy they are. I used to go on the Matchbox 20 message board a lot, and Rob or the rest of the band would sometime drop by... and we'd all go crazy!
well i really like taking art classes and have been working on my shading skills on drawing "black and white" portraits they don't really get black and white because i use a graphite pencil sometimes i use charcoal. but i still have room to improve and i shall!
1_big_fag_hag
You should see her drawings of Scully and Mulder! No really, they are great. Hey, ArtChick, do you have a scanner? If you did, you could get a deviantart account and post your art there. It's good if you want feedback from people other than your friends (If you think I'm biased - hmph!)
