Congratulations to both Jeffrey and Uli, they are both winners. The buzz coming out of fashion week over both collections was incredible and no doubt both will do great. At the end of the day the judges valued innovation and that is why both these amazingly talented designers were the best. CONGRATS ULI AND JEFFREY you rocked Olympus Fashion Week!

I am sick to my stomach right now. I can't believe Jeffery won. Uli should have had it. Her collection was the best period. Jeffery is Scum. No no I take that back he's the bacteria that feeds on pond scum. NNNNOOOOO. This sucks!!! After this year I don't think I'll ever watch again.

Oh yuk
I really wanted it to be Uli!!!!!
Jeff. It was all about the zipper dress. The green stripe dress with the zipper detail won the competition for him.
On Michael, Heidi was dead on. He needs to mature.
"Narrow" is the perfect word to describe Laura's appeal. It is a look for the pages of Town & Country.
I would have given the shot to Uli.
But while I loathe Jeff on a personal level and the way he trashes people in his little asides like the one about Michael and strip clubs... as if his drug addict ass can talk about anybody. He is a crummy human being. Still, his win did have some tolerable logic for the first time in three seasons.

I can't believe he won. I am so sick of his language...even when he won he had to use language that is bleeped on the television. He may be talented but he has no class whatsoever. I would not be surprised if he loses some clients that he currently has over the vile language he has used throughout this show.

I am pissed. Michael gets the boot and Jeffrey who I still believe cheated wins. It never ceases to amaze me when it comes to majority America. Jay who won the first season made some cheap pieces (and some ridiculous headphones) that looked like people had worn for days over Kara Sunn who in fact had nice pieces. And in the end, Kara Sunn ended up helping Jay with a piece he was supposed to do for Hiedi. I do understand that Michael needs to mature but he deserved to win. I actually picked Laura over Jeffrey so I am pissed she didn’t win. Uli’s collection was nice but at the same time boring with the exception of a few pieces. I really loved her last piece.
If memory serves me correct, Laura and Uli got claps as their models walked. I don’t recall any claps for Michael but at the same time, Michael set the bar high and disappointed people in the end. He still didn’t deserve to be penalized though. I liked something from all the collections. I didn’t understand the shoes choices Jeffrey made but I loved some of his collections.
This was a sympathy win (Jeff suicide attempt), nothing more, nothing less. Jeff should’ve been out when he made that ridiculous black and white outfit but Kanye got the boot instead. And don’t get me started on the outfit he made for the mom. They kept Jeff around and now we know why.
I do believe Michael Kors wanted Michael to win.

jeffrey's got it. he's the most innovative.
I wasn't sure if I was favoring Jeffrey because I like him and I tried to judge all of them individually and fairly but I kept coming back to Jeffrey (Uli I kept thinking she's too narrow in her designs) so I went back over them and found flaws in each it was so hard to figure out but again I found it would be Jeffrey.
I am thrilled for him and his family. He deserved the win for his creative and innovative line for the show. As the judges said, they all win. They are all four wonderful designers who will do well! BRAVO for sure!
In addition, I have to commend Jeffrey for his decency in how he dealt with Laura once his accounts had been settled. He vented a bit to the "private" commentary camera, but if it had been me, I'd have vented A LOT more to her lol!
She too was very good about the whole thing and said how she didn't want him to cry, but when he said how it was just her "lack of experience" in the field, I didn't feel he was being snide. I felt he was honestly saying that he forgave her and I do believe he does. (BUT Laura, my gosh you had all that handwork on the beading and wondered how Jeffrey completed his line before the show????)
I also saw where they have already mentioned how personalities were "edited" for the sake of the show - I suspected/KNEW this all along really. In truth, I think those four people are all wonderful and gracious.
Tim was so sweet when he got so emotional before the show. I think maybe that group and Tim got a bit closer than in the past? I haven't watched those seasons like I did this one. Maybe someone can answer that for me.
Now, let's see if the board will allow me to post this - it hasn't been letting me do a whole lot. >:(

YES!!! I love LOVE LOVE Jeffrey he deserved his collection was amazing and Ive loved everything hes done through-out this season! He proved over and over again that he can make something different and beautiful and he doesn't have one set design like some of the other designers.
I did not like all of Michaels collection but I loved everything he did through-out the season...hes always made beautiful clothes and I think he lost because he over did it...he was trying to make something he normally wouldnt make but we all loved what he did normally.
Uli finally finally finally came out of her one design of someone in miami and colors and bla...her collection was awesome and hopefully she continues to make clothes like her collection rather than the samething over and over again like during the season.
Laura had an okay collection but it was the samething over and over again...clothes for women her age and the designs were just to old granny to me...but she is awesome with detail and design.
Jeffrey was awesome and amazing and I'm super excited that he won! I jumped off my seat and was so happy that he had won!

Jeffrey won Project Runway, and I'm so happy , because all the tension caused by Laura and Michael pay off, I was so relieve when they announce Michael was out first, since he and Laura were the heads on the Jeffrey's scandal, I was happy to see the one after another were eliminated, I was a little sad for Uli, but I understand the Uli it's going to do very well on the bussiness, and for that reason it was smart to put Jeffrey's fashion foward, i'm so Happy so Happy for him and his mother, and the rest of his family, son , girlfriend, father, this is an oppotunity for him to grow up to the sky!! Congratulations Jeffrey!!

I for one was so happy the way they did the show, and the way they handled it.
Although Jeffery's fashions are way too young for me, I truly believe that he was the most innovative of them all. Having Ullie and him standing there supporting (yes I believe those two were truly supporting each other) was the icing on the cake for me. I would have hated to see Laura as the one to stand with him.
Way to gooooooooooo Jeffery.

I agree...I am so disappointed by the outcome for this season I don't know if I will ever watch this show again. What Jeff did was not fashion, it will not evolve I can't see him evolving out of this crap he does.
However, props to Laura-loved the dresses even if Nina bashed you as usual. If anyone can sew a perfect dress it is this women, I hope we will get the chance to own a piece of yours!
Ulli- not my style but a beautiful collection.
Micheal- love the safari, your young but damn you've got a following now and M.Kors doesn't know it yet but you could give him a run for his money.
So disappointed with the judging tonight...

I have absolutely loved this show since the very first episode of this season and I've had the highest respect for the judges decisions but I seriously question their sanity now that they chose Jeffrey. I did not see anything in his collection, besides the green striped dress, that denotes him as a winner. Not only is he a vulgar and disrespectful guy, but his clothes look like he just sewed random pieces of fabric together and called it "fashion".
I've loved Michael this whole season but his collection wasn't the best. I would have thought Uli was going to win after all the great things they said about her. I can't believe they gave Jeffrey money and a car... maybe he'll spend it on drugs instead of clothes.

I was a little confused about the judge's reaction to Laura's collection. Chloe's collection was not diverse last year, yet she won. If Laura would have shown more range during the season, maybe she would have won.

Michael completely fizzled out. Did he get overwhelmed? What happened??? Was he designing clothes for those strippers he likes. 28??? The taste level was that of an 18 yo guy watching video honeys. He did not evolve or rise to the challenge in anyway.
Jeff's stuff is not innovative. It is current. It reflects that he has an established business. Michael showed the greatest promise to bring a new eye. I cannot believe that no one saw his collection as it was developing and did not warn him.

Jeff's design's were not good at all. Uhl or Laura should have won. He has questionable taste. He really lucked up because he is a mean person. I would never buy anything he designed. I also believed he cheated, however Laura bead work is hard to believe she did hers in 2 months either.

I knew it!!!! Even though I was sweating at the last minute!! I LOVE that Jeffery won!! And what a way for Laura to back pedal!! Unfortunately Michael really slipped at the end, but I was routing for Jeffery all along!! He truly has inspirational talent and a great edge to his clothes. He showed who he truly was at the end, he just speaks his mind and doesn't censor what comes out of his mouth. He was not there to make friends and so he put a wall between the people there and himself and concentrated on the project. When they did the interview with Tim at the end, you really got to see how far he has come in his own life and that he is full of love for the people that matter.
I LOVE THAT YOU WON JEFFERY!!! WE WILL DEFINITELY BUY YOUR DESIGNS!!!!

You've said so much in those two lines! So many liked Uli and she did do a great job, but her line was a bit bland in a couple of areas and I believe that was her downfall. Not bad, mind you, but Jeffrey is young and innovative in his designs..... that's what they wanted and said so over and over!
You are so right about Uli and Jeffrey. I think Uli was happy that Jeffrey won if she couldn't and was proud of her 2nd place! Hurray for both!
I don't know tho, Laura might have been good if she had been there - but I'm glad it was Uli. She's showed she cared about Jeffrey and was fair about the accusations about him.

Thanks to all of you on the east coast for the heads-up on the results. Wasn't sure how I'd finish my work and still see the finale but now I know I'll skip it. I'd only end up irritated about the outcome. Sorry guys, Jeffrey's clothes are not nearly good enough to make up for his odious personality. One note to everyone who's spouting bile about Laura: if you were vying for a promotion at work and suspected your competition had 'bent" the rules, wouldn't you voice your concern? When all is said and done, Uli and Laura have the best shot at actually selling their clothes and after all, fashion is a business. Bottom line: much as I loved the show all season, it's just a show and not worth all the personal venom that's spewed over these boards.

Bingo. The best story won not the most deserving designer. Oh well the moral of this season is that If your the most TV friendly douchebag who can conger up a few tears people will overlok it when you dress someone like the mom of frankenstein and will even expand the finals when your Saint Paulie Girl Beer outfit tanks.

My mother and I have been staunch watchers of the show since the beginning of season 2 (when we discovered it) and both of us were SCREAMING when Jeff won.
Uli's collection was outstanding!! I would have worn everything she put on the runway, and that's saying something considering I'm a tomboy athlete. Her collection was more coheisive...and more people would wear her clothes than what Jeff put on the runway. Yeah, he's an innovator, but that long gown and that blue thing were just sore thumbs in the collection AND he went overbudget! The fact that the judges named a winner that broke the rules...why even have rules then?!
Uli got robbed...bottom line. But she handled it professionally at least. I'm still upset though...

Count me among PR's *former* fans. I have always been a Michael fan and while I, too, can admit that he shouldn't have won tonight, I felt that some of his pieces were absolutely stunning, and he got no credit or props for them whatsoever. They were too sexy for those hags on the judging panel. Michael, you'll be able to laugh all the way to the bank when the hip hop community comes beating a path to your door, and believe me, it will.
Once again, I think Uli was robbed, as she has been several times during the season. I think the rest of America -- Heidi, Nina, Michael K and what's-her-name notwithstanding -- will see what I saw on the runway, and she will succeed in spite of this ridiculus show.
Jeffrey? Come ON. If innovative = ugly, then he definitely was the winner, hands down. And, like Laura, I am sure he will do great things with this opportunity -- PFFFFFFFFF.
For fellow Michael fans, take heart: after all , what have you seen past PR winners do since their wins? Winning this show may have the same effect as the Best New Artist grammy - the kiss of death for your career.
We'll see Michael, Uli, and probably even Laura, again. In the meantime, Jeffrey can continue to design ugly crap for J-Lo and bring in new business with his winning personality, while Project Runway goes from an Emmy nominated show to a joke.
The only thing I'll miss are some of the posts on this board and Tim Gunn. Tim - run while you still can -- keep your integrity!!
I'm out - for good.
