Welcome to the boards hon! I hope we'll see you here often!
Don't worry about sounding silly-at some point we all do! Sean does read this thread and he will even respond when he has the time. (I like how you included "and I'm cute." in there!)
Who's your fave of the Fab5? I'm one of Jai's Angels.

Hi, Helen. Welcome to the board. (Soon you will be greeted eloquently and warmly by De and TTB.) You don't sound silly at all.....but I don't think you're a threat to my "Self-Deprecating Princess" title. Good luck with Sean. He's definitely a keeper!

Greetings and welcome to the forum, hon! Our dear Sean not only visits here - he also has his personal website listed back somewhere along page 20 or so. You can e-mail him directly through his site. He is a cutie, isn't he?

I do hope you pull up a chair and come visit us often, hon!
Peace and grace to you! --De

Hey, helen! Welcome to the boards! Post often and don't be shy! We've had a lot of new people coming in from Australiai when Sean's episode aired there. Yes, Sean does stop by like the others have said. He's fun to talk to!! Again, welcome! Which one of the fab 5 is your favorite? Or do you just love them all? I'm a Jai fan. Welcome to the boards ShammycC, and that chocolate question is a good one! I'll have to read on to see what he said.

I think it might be something called, oh what was it, Cadbury??? I don't know....my friends from England bought some chocolates that are famous there (and they're very yummy!) and I think they were the Cadbury brand...I'm not sure though. Only Sean knows!

I loved the episode, but there is only one thing I have to say about it - Thom looked so damn handsome, gorgeous, divine, stunning, spunky and many more adjectives that I can't think of right now. The whole time I was just thinking 'now this is why he's my favourite!'

Oooo you went and left the door open!

BEAUTIFUL, attractive, beauteous, bonny, comely, fair, good-looking, lovely, pulchritudinous (my favorite), august, majestic, noble, stately; chic, dashing, fashionable, modish, smart, stylish, dishy, foxy, handsome, stunning, well-favored, choice, elegant, exquisite; glorious, resplendent, splendid, sublime, superb; eye-appealing, eye-filling, proper; personable, pleasing

I demanded more but the thesaurus said that if I kept it up that it would give me some not so pleasant synonyms for the phrase "frig off".

There's been a multitude of ladies posting in here for Sean so don't feel silly. He's a pretty nice guy and answers questions whenever he gets the chance too.

Tomasulo, someone called me self-deprecating the other day and I thought of you straight away. Hehe. No offence of course. They also called me infuriating, but luckily that didn't remind me of anyone here.

FYI Sean - you may know this already, but your episode will air in the UK this week, starting tomorrow at 9pm, repeated Saturday at 8pm, Tuesday at midnight, and Wednesday at 8pm.
This is kinda late, but for some reason Living TV (the channel) decided to run the last couple of episodes out of order.

YOU GUYS DON'T HAVE CADBURY?? It is the staple chocolate down here! You can't walk into a supermarket or milk bar without seeing rows and rows of Cadbury chocolate. First I find out you don't have Tim Tams and now this...

I am obvioulsy a bit slow, because I only realised last night that we are currently TWO eps down. I thought it was only the John W one we were still waiting on, but we've also got Ari to see yet. (is it Ari?) At least that's something to look forward too!!!

Just thought I'd mention it.

sorry, meant to say that here in Australia we're still waiting on these. Again, a bit slow! lol

It's going back a while but they haven't shown Wayne H either.

I think they might be dotting QE throughout some miniseries and movies so they don't have a huge gap while the boys take a break. They started late with the first season so there was no problem there, but I think they are afraid that they might lose viewers next season if they stop. Plus, they probably want to stretch QE out until the Arnotts ads are well known and Carson comes to the Melb Cup.

For the record, American Cadbury isn't really Cadbury (except for the Creme Eggs) -- Hershey licensed the name to use in the U.S., so those Cadbury bars you buy here are Hershey chocolate in a nicer label. REAL Cadbury tastes a thousand times better, and they have Whole Nut bars over there -- none of those cheap almonds, I'm talking whole hazelnuts! When I went to England, I brought back a ton of those things... sadly, they didn't last very long.
ShammymacC
We got Wayne in Perth. I remember coz it wasn't one of my faves.
merlaezn
The Cadbury bars are made in Tasmania and I know some of them make it to the US. They taste different though. The ones for the US have more sugar than the ones made for Aus. I think it is something to do with the type of chocolate that is around in America already having a lot of sugar in it so they had to keep it the same...
merlaezn
Hold on a sec... <counts back from the Olympics> We did get Wayne, but I missed him and my friend accidentally taped over my tape of it.

It's the same in the UK. they taste different there too. I prefer the Aussies stuff to the UK stuff, but I have point of reference on the US stuff, but I'm going to trust you and say that the Aussie version is the best! lol OF COURSE!!

I didn't realize Australians had another variant of Cadbury. I know that English Cadbury is a whole lot better than American, though.

They used to be all OVER the place when I was a kid - and at Easter time it was Cadbury's Easter Cream Eggs! Those might still be around during Easter.

Just like quite a few of the more recent posters here, I'm in Australia too. I'm on the west coast...Perth. Anyway...that's irrelevant....we got Sean's ep last night, hence why so many of us are here now I guess.

I've been reading these boards on and off for a while now, but this is the first ep that's made me want to post. Why? Well I think because it was the first really great ep I've seen in a while. I was screaming with laughter at times and also going "aww" a lot too! lol

I thought is was a great ep and great to see a SG who was being made better for more than just having a grotty apartment. Sean was smashing, the boys were brill and it was nice to see everyone getting even time, which doesn't always seem to happen. (Oh and I have to admit, I was dribbling on the floor when I saw Kyan's arms at the Brazilian dance/martial arts things. yummy!)

I see that Sean's been posting which is just smashing, and it's great to get a first hand account of how the whole experience was on a personal level. (even though one of Sean's post enraged me because I discovered they edited out Jai's fake date!!!! lol I knew there was something more going on there!)

So Sean, Congrats on taking everything on board and having the courage to change your life, with and without the help of the FF. I did have one question for you though (and I don't think anyone else has asked this yet) ....what was your favourite chocolate from the UK that the supermarket had???????

hello if this is who i reckon it is, then i answered that question to u already but for everyone else , its called CRUNCHIE by Cadbury's :-P
