I don't know why this editor chose to publish such a rough work, but it dealt with the Terry Shiavo case. I will continue to do better, but I just wanted to post this link. I mentioned it in a post previous and finally got access. I feel that being published online is a stepping stone to paper. Matter of time.

Congratulations on getting published! Its not as easy as some may think. I tried in college and didn't make it. Your story was quite touching and reiterates my belief that everything happens for a reason.

Yes I did... if the sky doesn't fall in before Tuesday I start my new job as Assistant Director Of Nursing! Imagine that! Me! In an administrative position! Never done that kind of thing before... kinda scared... but excited too. I told her just don't make me fire people. I'm too nice

ME!!!! Since 1975 I have seen him in concert LIVE 5 times. (does put on a great live show) The last time he was in St. Louis I refused to go because the cheapest seat was $75. Won't pay that for anybody! Stupid to pay $75 for a nosebleed.
Now, even though I like BM (yes, I have heard all of the jokes), I do see the humor in it. I do understand why people find him rather annoying (I hate the songs Copacabana, I Write the Songs) but I like him. I also like Van Halen, Aerosmith, Everly Brothers, Sammy Hagar, CSN (and sometimes Y), Michael Buble, Josh Groban. Very eclectic tastes.
I can see a similarity between Stephan & BM, but they don't look that much alike.
True confession time SisterZip, I too like Barry. I love his voice! I also like a very wide range of music...country, rock-n-roll, classical, some rap, soul, Jamaican, disco, easy listening...only heavy metal and opera are not on my list. I think I got that from my Mom. She loved all kinds of music and loved the song "Freakers Ball", cracked her up!! I come from a family with a pretty healthy sense of humor too. BTW, my Mom was in her 60's when she loved the above "Freaker's Ball"

Since we're soooooo far off topic around here, what IS everyone doing for Christmas this year? Anything exciting? Going to be pretty quiet here because of the unemployment thing for the last few months, but will have my girls and my fiance's son and his wife here, so that will be nice. I'll prolly be stressin tho since I start the new job Tuesday.
Traditionally I have a very difficult time at Christmas. Depressing holiday for me. But hoping with the recent good happenings of late things will be different this year.

Hmm... getting out of the snow may just be a good thing for some here in the states... lol... Heard they've cancelled over 2500 flights out of Denver over the last couple days... ouch... can you imagine all the pissed off holiday travelers?
I just HAD to go and wish for a white Christmas too... haha... started snowing yesterday... still snowing... about 8 inches out there now... whatamess!

I have my shopping done, but have to clean...my turn having my family over for Christmas Eve. Just fixing pot roast so it won't be a big deal. Still don't have the Christmas tree up. Kid (22) is about to have a fit.
Pot roast is my Aunt's Christmas Eve tradition..She makes it the way my grandmother did.German style with vinegar and rice........Mmmm
We do a seafood feast for the Italian side. Mmmm again.

I made the egg nog last night and it is SO delish..I cooked it a bit and it is so much better than store bought!
No liquor though.
The kidlets and my mother don't drink and I don't want to attack my BIL like last year.........lol
My husband's aunt gave me her recipe for Wassail and Boiled Custard. Love both of them, but no one but my husband and I will drink it. The Boiled Custard is like Egg Nog, but not as sweet and not as much nutmeg.
For as long as I remember, my Mom made her Christmas tea. Huge pot of water, 20 tea bags, frozen orange juice, frozen lemonade, sugar, Port Wine and Myers dark Rum. All ingre to taste. Serve hot and wow, what a bang for your buck. Probably doesn't sound great to some, but we still make it and all look forward to it.

OMG! Christmas is coming? I haven't bought a thing yet!
Just kidding there, but I sure don't have everything yet. Been stressing out with job apps and interviews and all. Really glad that part of things is over with!
Now it just needs to snow a little and all the kids that are traveling here need to get here safely and I'll really be happy for a nice change of pace!

Since we're soooooo far off topic around here, what IS everyone doing for Christmas this year? Anything exciting? Going to be pretty quiet here because of the unemployment thing for the last few months, but will have my girls and my fiance's son and his wife here, so that will be nice. I'll prolly be stressin tho since I start the new job Tuesday.
Traditionally I have a very difficult time at Christmas. Depressing holiday for me. But hoping with the recent good happenings of late things will be different this year.

Hmm... getting out of the snow may just be a good thing for some here in the states... lol... Heard they've cancelled over 2500 flights out of Denver over the last couple days... ouch... can you imagine all the pissed off holiday travelers?
I just HAD to go and wish for a white Christmas too... haha... started snowing yesterday... still snowing... about 8 inches out there now... whatamess!
I MEANT it would be nice if it snowed sometime Christmas Eve night while we were sleeping and done with all our holiday running around and shopping dangit!

I don't know why this editor chose to publish such a rough work, but it dealt with the Terry Shiavo case. I will continue to do better, but I just wanted to post this link. They are running a commercial saying the home videos are on the web site. There is a clip where betty is acting all sexy saying she likes to wear vanilla. I just watched her clip and it isnt there. Why would they advertise with a clip they deleted??
