And it shows Betty saying to Marcel, don't ever snap at me (the kettle calling the pot black here?) and when Marcel Does say, "I'm sorry Betty", (like I don't even think he should have apologized, he should of told her to suck his ass) that psycho b*tch has the gall to say to him, "I don't believe you". Man can she not take ANYTHING? I mean come on, even if that apology did sound paltry to YOU Betty at least the man had enough gumption TO apologize, which is MORE than you ever did, right Betty? This show is just plain wrong.

I'd only like to add one thing about the Rest of them. Oh please, refusing to help serve Marcels dish because he "barked" at Betty? Give me a Break!!! What are they a damned bunch of 10 year olds? Heck if Elia was helping him the two of them should have just served Marcels dish themselves and when asked why weren't the other chefs helping, say they are all POUTING in the back room, because in the loud kitchen I had to ensure that my voice was HEARD and the other chefs are a bunch of kids who have VERY sensitive hearing LOL. I can't imagine in any kitchen on the planet it is so quiet Marcel would have had to hold everyones to hand to say "Oh please oh please I'm begging you don't go, their saying don't go". What a JOKE! Where on earth do they get these people from?

But I think it isn't all editing, the episode where her head spun around 360 degrees and she said, "Carlos is OUT", "she" says that that is not what happened or the way that it happened. Yet one of the blog owners asked Carlos about it and he said, "Yes, that is the way it happened". I don't know.

I know..... I know...BUT...Marcel has to be doing something to make them all so mad.
He is either playing this game real well or he is just really
a jerk or a bit of both and has little social skill.
Although he did smile real pretty at that blonde at the
catering party...lol
He seems highly intelligent even in his audition tape
and arrogant.
BUT..... he does not seem a snake as Tiffani was.
I think we are not seeing all that makes everyone so angry.
Hopefully the reunion show will tell all!

Got my other half a chicken wing deep fryer, movies, clothes, cologne & stuff. Got my oldest & her boyfriend a vacuum, camp stove, deep fryer, and kitchen stuff (they just got a new apartment). Got the puppy a squeaky reindeer & treats and Maui some feather play balls and kitty snacks. Okay, the only one that said anything about not helping Marcel is Ilan, so I don't think you can assume the rest were going along with his idea based on that short clip. After all, Elia wasn't in the kitchen when Marcel came back either and I really doubt SHE was going along it. In fact the only ones that seem upset with Marcel at all in that clip are Ilan and Betty. Mike is shown asking Marcel if he needs help at one point, Sam is shown telling Ilan they should start working on plating his dish after Ilan's all, "Are they saying bad things about Marcel?" which seems like a decent way to distract Ilan from further ragging on Marcel.
This doesn't seem like a everyone versus Marcel kind of thing, just a Ilan (and Betty I guess) versus Marcel issue. Of course, it's tough to make much of a judgement at all yet, as we've only seen a two minute clip of the situation.

Imo, I think maybe (going out on a limb) they all "are" worried about him.
Put that on top of the Betty/group hate, the stress of the contest, and living conditions it seems that they all need a scapegoat and chose him as he doesnt' seem to be that much of a fighter. Hell, if I were him I would have already got arrested for some kind of physical violence. LOL
No matter, I'm going to stick with him til he either gets kicked off or wins the whole thing. Oooooooh, wouldn't that just bite their sarcastic arrogant (they are all arrogant and have big heads- it isn't just Marcel) butts!! LOL

Bring Mia back. Ilia is the most duplictious person there. Mike AND Mia were the 2 who said more food choices (Mia), hot food (Mia) and we'll do a fourtht (Mike, with Mia's greement).
Ilia as team leader did not listen to her team, talked "down" to Mia when telling Mia to stop objecting to Ilia's decission. Ilia was did not prep the food in advance and allowed inadequate time for cooking the food. Mia tried to save face for the team, interacting in a positive exchange with guests. The judges erred in accepting Mia's offer - they should have stuck to their responsibility and fired Ilia.

I don't have it yet (because our local Bed, bath & beyond didn't have one and he ordered had the store order it) but I will be getting the 5 1/2 quart All Clad saucier that I saw online. Just threw that on the list after some very kind and knowledgable people here recommended it. Hubby asked the clerk if another brand had something similiar and she told him that when someone requests All Clad that they usually know what they are talking about and don't want anything else! He used the 20% off coupon, too, so it wasn't as bad price wise as if he had ordered it directly online himself. Can't wait to try it out!
Also got a gift certificate to my favorite cross stitch shop, The West Wing Season 7 DVD set, new cordless phone, and
the 2006 World Series St. Louis Cardinals 8 DVD set.
Now I can relive every wonderful moment of the series and the celebration & parade. A few other small things. We don't spend a whole lot of money, but we have a great time.
I made pot roast and rolls for the family and my sister had planned a key lime bundt cake (but it fell apart and she made a triffle with the broken pieces instead...tasted great) and plenty of dips, spreads, candy, cookies... We all ate entirely too much.

Hubby got Season 8 dvd set of South Part, a rolling seat to work on his motorcycle, and a new shower massage. Daughter got a new vcr (what a b*tch that was to find), gilmore girls season 6 and Roseanne season 5 & 6, new pjs, sweater set, beads to make jewelry, Stewie (from Family Guy) flannel pants, and a bunch of silly stuff. We usually spend quite a bit more on her, but she is getting a laptop for college graduation and a big party for her friends. She didn't have too large of a list anyway and she told us to put whatever we didn't spend on her now towards her laptop. Don't ya just love the kids when they grow up and make more mature decisions!
My mom got some clothes (my sister & I are trying to get her away from buying all of her clothes from Walmart...ugh), Dad got a gift card to their favorite restaraunt so he can have their ribs & sauerkraut, and my sister (we draw names with us kids) bought herself a new digital camera. So we bought her rechargeable batteries & the charger.
Like I said, we don't spend much but we have a great time.

I just got the best Christmas present EVER! Think I've posted about this before, but, if not, my oldest daughter is about 6 months pregnant & I got to feel the baby kick!!! So far she's the only one that's felt it... hehehe... her boyfriend is kinda pissed at me. I told him its cuz I'm a nurse and know what to feel for... LMAO
Anyway... she had a questionable ultrasound a week ago and has to go have another Thursday and possibly go to Boise for further tests if something is wrong. So it made both of us feel better to feel the little bugger kickin around in there!

Severe thunderstorms in the Bay area demolished at least 30 homes, and a blown transformer spelled several hours without power for us today. To top it off, they're forecasting another line of strong storms to whip through just in time for New Year's Eve, so we're hoping that changes by next weekend.
And with James Brown taking his final bow, I have to say, it's been a pretty sad Christmas this year. May 2007 have brighter things in store. Here's hoping!

Sorry.. Lia.. just latching on to your post... not directed at you.
I don't do Christmas, so that isn't what I am responding to. I just watched all of the reruns of this seasons show.. and I gotta tell ya.. I have a different take on Mia leaving now. When she was going off about how screwed up the challenge was.. I think she kinda suddenly realized that she "threw Ilia under the bus", felt guilty about it ... and the only way to backpedal was to tell a sob story and bow out. Perhaps it is the cynicism I feel this time of year.. but I just felt like she was game-playing. Anyone agree? Disagree? Am I just a grinch? LOL (I already know that answer hehehehe)

I don't have it yet (because our local Bed, bath & beyond didn't have one and he ordered had the store order it) but I will be getting the 5 1/2 quart All Clad saucier that I saw online. Just threw that on the list after some very kind and knowledgable people here recommended it. Hubby asked the clerk if another brand had something similiar and she told him that when someone requests All Clad that they usually know what they are talking about and don't want anything else! He used the 20% off coupon, too, so it wasn't as bad price wise as if he had ordered it directly online himself. Can't wait to try it out!
Also got a gift certificate to my favorite cross stitch shop, The West Wing Season 7 DVD set, new cordless phone, and
the 2006 World Series St. Louis Cardinals 8 DVD set.
Now I can relive every wonderful moment of the series and the celebration & parade. A few other small things. We don't spend a whole lot of money, but we have a great time.
I made pot roast and rolls for the family and my sister had planned a key lime bundt cake (but it fell apart and she made a triffle with the broken pieces instead...tasted great) and plenty of dips, spreads, candy, cookies... We all ate entirely too much.

I just got the best Christmas present EVER! Think I've posted about this before, but, if not, my oldest daughter is about 6 months pregnant & I got to feel the baby kick!!! So far she's the only one that's felt it... hehehe... her boyfriend is kinda pissed at me. I told him its cuz I'm a nurse and know what to feel for... LMAO
Anyway... she had a questionable ultrasound a week ago and has to go have another Thursday and possibly go to Boise for further tests if something is wrong. So it made both of us feel better to feel the little bugger kickin around in there!

Oh, I will use it. I usually bake a lot of cookies & make a lot of candy at Christmas. The last two years I haven't because of my plantar faciitis (had surgery this past October) but now come Valentine's Day, I will be able to make fudge, both chocolate & peanut butter (from my grandma's recipe), divinity, pralines, etc. The only pot i had was a 3 quart saucepan and it always boiled over. So now, hopefully, I can do better. Can't wait until it gets here.
Just a tag...Lia, I am not that big of a James Brown fan, but I do recognize his tremendous contribution to music. I had to spen a 4 day weekend on a houseboat listening to nothing but "The Best of James Brown"...kinda soured me on it, lol. We have lost so many stars that we have grown up with over the last couple of years. It is really sad.
