i totally agree. Also, I know that Marcel is off. He's in a competition!! OF COURSE he's going to look out for myself. And from what I know about editors, i'm sure the editors did whatever they could to accentuate how aggrevating Marcel can be. Even with THAT, I think Sam's/Cliff's/Ilan's reactions to marcel are totally immature and disproportionate.

I am terribly disappointed in the turn of events. I think that Cliff had potential. I don't think that the prank was intended to disrupt the grand scheme of things. I did not want to see Cliff go because of this. In my opinion, Marcel really needed to just take it like a man and not whine to the producers. Too bad that Cliff had to go. Sam needs to take this baby home, now.

People hate marcel because he's an arrogant tattle tale, who always tries to pick fights. like the fixtures shop incident. I dont see how people can put the blame on sam and ilan for their reactions to marcel. The blame has to go on marcel for that simple cause and effect. His over all personality caused them to react because he wont stop being what he is.

Personal opinion here, but I have no use for the little runt. He has no desire to 'play well with others', he is arrogant and self-serving.
That said, he didn't deserve what Cliff did. I understand how jokes like that can get out of hand, but it was way over the top and they did the right thing by sending him home. Sam couldn't have controlled this no matter how hard he would have tried.
At least Cliff accepted responsibility for what he did and apologized to Marcel & everyone.

Great Show, it seemed as if they put behind the petty indifferences & focused on cooking, Das Boot was at stake,California what a beautiful State. Marcel is a high maintanence personality but a really good Chef and i thought it was really cool that Sam helped him after being snuffed. OMG... Cliff couldn't you tell it was going too far? i have a Sophmoric sence of humor but you could see when it went from laughing to the Full Nelson to that he was not appreciating the humor.Nice Finish..heart pounding All 4 going to to the Island!!!!!!!!

OMG I wanted to say throw them all out. Send Marcel to Hawaii. But the judges are very nice so it's good that they will all go on I guess. I would like to see less hatred though. I feel bad for Marcel. He only had one burner to do his fish on while Ilan took 10 of them. If that sort of thing happens in the finals then whoever is judged to be the winner may not be the person who should win.
