Hello, and welcome to the Real Housewives 2 message board! In episode 3, Jo has been partying in L.A. into the wee hours, and Slade isn't pleased. Lauri is becoming a Republican because George is a big contributor to the Republican Party. Jeana takes a tour of the houses she currently owns, charting her rise from Playboy Playmate to real estate mogul. Tammy is still trying to navigate her way from being worth millions of dollars just ten years ago to losing it all, on top of being a single mother of three. Vicki ships Michael back to school and sends her daughter, Briana, to Chicago to visit her dad.
Discuss!

Okay was I the only one who heard Laurie say to her youngest when she was getting ready to go to the rep party, that she was'nt interested in seeing the horse because it was all about her? This really shows where the kids are with her, no wonder the oldest girl is the way she is and sofhie is the next one in line.
On a seperate note really watched when she was talking and her upper lip does not move one bit. But George's daughter looked mortified when they were joking that she was pregant.
For once Vicki had common sense whe talking about this marriage.

I can't stand Jo anymore - She was very cute the 1st season - I think the show has gone to her head. into her tiny brain. Slade's jealous/needy/annoying attitude give them a huge edge for the Trainwreck couple of season 2.

So last week Jo told us that she was such a hard worker, had her own place, worked 3 jobs etc before she landed Slade. Now we're back to being a freaking idiot who has never made cookies in her whole life? And didn't know there was such a thing as kitchen scissors. The "I'm a big stupid idiot" game doesn't make you cute...makes you look like a big stupid idiot. I can't believe in his business, Slade wants to be asssociated with this girl.
And that other gold diggin' tramp, did anyone else hear her pronounce the state the man was governor of?? Watch it in the reruns...hysterical! She probably can't say it because she can't fully move her mouth due to the paralysis setting in from all the crap she injects herself with. LOL
It's only been 3 episodes and they're already losing my interest. I think they're trying to play up their "characters" a bit (JO) and it's just not entertaining anymore.

Lauri said Massachusiss, didn't pronounce the t. It was pretty funny, she considers herself such a strong republican, votes republican every year without knowing anything about the candidates?

First of all, thank you! I have been reading all of your posts and really enjoying them. I've become oddly addicted to this show and it was so satisfying to see everyone expressing everything I've been screaming at the T.V. (I try to discuss it with my husband, but he's normal.)
I know this has been mentioned many times, but I just can't get over Laurie's face. If she didn't have children, I would swear she was a trannie. When she talks about how happy she is with George (where'd HE come from?) I can't help but think, hey, if you didn't have so much friggin' Botox & surgery we might be able to tell when you're happy.
The only thing I can add without repeating what you all have expressed already, is, I actually feel for Vicki. I felt so badly when she asked her mother if she misses her when she doesn't see her. I mean, for a grown woman to have that need is sad. Her mother must have never made her feel loved. I know that sounds corny, but none of these women seem to show any emotion or concern for anyone else's. Vicki seems to be the only one with a heart beating in her chest.
Also, am I the only one who has noticed that Slade has hair plugs?

Although I know Laurie pronounced Massachusetts wrong, does anyone have anything to say about Kara calling her mom DIRTY [expletive deleted] how disrespectful, if thats what having money does to you they can keep it, I mean instead of buying cars, clothes, plastic surgerys, etc. they should go out and buy some CLASS, because when your own daughter calls you a DIRTY [expletive deleted] then there is something very, very wrong in this world, Then she just blows it off like uh, I did'nt think that was what you said, .........whatever.

I feel sorry for Lindsey (Tammy's daughter)... how dare her friends question her about "what happened". Just because your parents lost their fortune doesn't make you any less of a person. Like when Kara asked her why she got rid of her horse...that was really uncalled for. I like Tammy, she is a breath of fresh air for the show. She really showed her true colors when she mentioned to Lindsey how life goes up and down, and you find a way to survive. She acted like it was no big deal losing her fortune because she truly knows that money doesn't equal happiness.
Lauri disgusts me... if you count the times she says "me, myself, I" during her segments---she is self-absorbed. Vicki sees the writing on the wall when she mentions Lauri being controlled by money. Lauri's daughter, poor thing, is sooo unattractive..
And Jo, I am SO sick of her dumb "blonde" act. That is soo 2003 when Jessica Simpson was popular. I hope Slade dumps her and gets a classy woman. He deserves one that isn't partying all the time in LA. Jo is OBSESSED with LA... just listen to the way she says it. I really liked Jo in the first season, but now she is really annoying. Also, I CANNOT stand her friend JJ.. ugh, she is so unattractive, poor thing!
Good for Vicki going and having a good time at the lake, letting loose. She deserves a good time. Who cares what the people in Coto think?
Jeana's kids need counseling! I like Jeana herself, but her children are really mean to each other and I think its sad their dad isn't around to care.

Some thoughts on tonights show...By chance did anyone else notice that "The Gates" at the beginning of the show are the EXACT same gates THAT used to be in front of Tammy's house???? I always knew those opening gate (credits) were not the ones to drive into Coto. Now we all saw them when Tammy went back in history to visit her old house with Lou.
I also noticed that George's (with the slide haircut, I laugh everytime I see one now) children were not on camera much during the celebration meal. Could their mother actually have some wits about her and told them the lay low and stay off camera??? Maybe she was the smart one and left Georgie?????
Jo/Slade bore me nothing to add.
Vicki/Don..He really was good when he asked Vicki if she could really not put gas in the car. Like his smart humor no wonder he travels with having to live with a wife like that!
Jeana/Kara...Poor poor Kara how should she spend all her money LOL. Might be a good idea to save it for a rainy day oh that is right it never rains in Caleeeeefornia (the arnold way)
Because I am not sure Mommy dearest will be able to hold on to all those million dollar houses when Shane on the loose. She may have to bail him out of jail one day after he hits the wrong girl/lady you get my drift.
OK carry on Kartie, Mel, Phy

Okay is it just me or is Laurie a Gold Digger!!! She's fake, she care's less about her children, she isnt even a Housewife....why is she even on this show? Im sorry but Laurie has to go, obviously this is going to be her 3rd marriage, something must be totally wrong with her, all she wants is money. Get a life Laurie, take care of your children first, your not getting any younger.

That's so funny you said that because I thought the same thing. "What the heck is this chick acting like a Jessica Simpson wannabe for?" She has this expression on her face like she thinks all the stuff she says is cute but it's just so DUMB. And she's apparently a college grad? Uh yeah and give me a break she has never ever made cookies in her life? She's never seen anyone make cookies? She sounds completely useless, she can't clean, she can't cook, she's too lazy to support herself. Wow, how depressing.

Hey all,
This is my first post here. But, I'm addicted to this show so I thought I'd come on and post something.
Here's my take on things. Laurie is in everything for the money... No matter what takes place in her life it will revolve around money. She even said in one show, " I was broke and havd money, having money is better". I'm sure it is. Also, I haven't liked her since she went out with Slade. That was pretty rotten considering Slade and Jo had not really gotten to know many people. I just think Laurie is way too fake.
I really like Jo. Can't tell you why really, call it the wish I could shop and play as much as she does. Whatever it is, she's cool. Slade on the other hand, I don't know if we're all misreading him or what. But, he sure seams controlling. I hope she leaves before he gets her pregnant on purpose.
Tell me what you guys think, I can't really connect with the new girl Tammy. I know she came from previous money. But, she just doesn't act like she fits in. Maybe she doesn't want to. I'm just not feeling it.
Vicki's alright I guess. But, I'm a Mom and my kids listen to me. If I were anything like her, I think they'd leave home as fast as possible. I think she's nice, but has a need to contol everything around her. I wonder if this is because if she has no control she'll not have a handle on anything else. Kids, work or her marriage. Which I think needs a pretty good lift.
Speaking of needing help. Where is Jeana's hubby and why does she put up with him leaving her and the kids like that? Those kids still need guidance. I just really don't understand parents these days. And we wonder why our kids are the way they are. Not having many morals and not caring about one another the way they should. It's really sad.
But then, hey it is OC.......
Hope you guys enjoyed my editoial. lol
Can't wait for the next show. Til then, we'll all be watching the darn reruns.......

I just LOVED Vicki in this episode; I feel the editors are showing more sides to her, and that is nice! Loved her concern for Lauri, it was common sense, and also liked how she and Donn decided to get away and play while the kids were gone. Woman likes to have fun!
I like how she's not afraid to talk about her beliefs, and also tells on herself about how she wasn't perfect. Good for you, not playing the hypocrite!
I was slightly annoyed that Jeana wanted Kara to apply to Harvard and Yale, when it's clear that Kara wants to go to UCLA. Harvard and Yale are just names, it's the quality of the mind that goes there that counts (no insult to Kara), plus by applying she's possibly taking someone else's spot who really really wants to go to those schools.
Slade was the perfect sarcastic boyfriend! Joanna, please wake up. The entire thing about the acre was hilarious, esp. with Slade making smart remarks. Just great.
Lauri's son Josh was a bit annoying at the lunch table. I hope he gets over it and grows up a bit. I know other moms of drug users and they are a mess. Lauri, you have every right to feel however you do!
SHOW MORE FUN!!!

Jo is getting to be quite a bore this season. She is trying too hard to be the "it" girl this season. Jo is no longer young & fresh. So far this season, this whole charade with Slade & her just seems so forced. Jo, get some acting lessons or Bravo may replace you like they did with Kimberly.

Welcome NuNu, I hope that you'll be able to join us often. I have not noticed Slade's hair plugs, I'll have to look closer when Bravo repeats the episode this weekend. I think that somewhere deep within Jeana, there is a heart beating. Of cource Jeana is too busy for her son's graduation, always picks a favorite child of the moment so the other two will work harder for her affections. Now Laurie, she's such a "hard hearted Laurianna, a vamp from Montana". She has a heart for only gold. Old kids from previous husbands (whose gold mines she picked/played out long ago) those kids don't fit her new republican real estate developer world. Brady Bunch my ant fanny. More like the old woman who lived in a shoe, or make that Prada boots.

I'll be willing to Bet that most of Jeana's house are mortgaged to the hilt. Even in her income level (don't forget spending levels too) people just don't have a million dollars cash hanging around. Most wealthy people's money is not liquid, it's in stocks, etc. Shane's new car has been in the shop for two months (what, no money to rent him a new one?) When they went car shopping for Kara, Jeana had to have her credit checked. Obviously nobody paid cash. Go to the Orange County records office and look up their mortgages. It's all part of public record & everyone has a right to view the signed mortgages. In my county, we have a website, and you can view the imaged mortgage on-line. I have not researched Orange County yet, but if you do, you may be surprised at how many people in very expensive homes are hocked to the hilt.

I am new here. I cant believe I watch this show... its like watching a train wreck. Thank goodness it comes on after my husband goes to bed.
What a crummy environment to live in ... Coto. All the focus on appearances. I know what this is like as I live in Palm Beach. I am an older mom with a lot of life experience behind me and therefore secure enough not to give a rats ass about all the superficial stuff. I hope I pass this on to my kids. Still Coto seems worse... probably the new money verses old money thing.
My take thus far... I just have to get it out for some reason...
The only intelligent thing I have heard anyone say on this show is Tammy. I think having had money and losing it has given her and her family a somewhat normal perspective on life and has taught them what is important in life. I think with most people who have money they lose their way like the rest of the people on this show. How much intelligence does it take to realize you have to teach your kids about limits, saving, values etc???? Tammy is doing this but only after being forced too.
Laurie is really scary looking... wants to be taken care of. The fact that George likes her makes me question his sanity. What was really depressing was that she said she voted Republican without knowing anything about the party or the candidates. How stupid. Why admit to it on TV also?
She definently has some issues about her self worth. Kids are messed up too. Long term therapy needed for all except Georges kids who seem fairly normal.
Jeanna is probably the biggest train wreck. Her values all screwed up. Wheres the husband. If your husband was leaving you or had a problem with the TV thing then wouldnt you pick your family over being on TV. Dont get me started on the kids... you guys have covered that one well. I actually think in the long run that Kara who is obnoxious will do well though since she has to discipline to study and apply for college. Still needs some manners and a clue. Whole family should go to etiquette school... these are the type of people that give Americans a bad name. The father is a loser too. Imagine forcing your sons to play baseball. How messed up is that? Shane will never feel accepted which is why I think he acts like a jerk. Entire family needs therapy. I also wouldnt be suprised if they are in debt also... it would fit the dynamics.
Vicki... I hated her at first. Her controlling personality needs to be addressed... she will have a heart attack soon. LIked seeing her relax at the river. She has potential. Needs therapy to deal with issues with mother and self worth.
Jo is an idiot with the maturity of a 6 year old. Slade is an insecure jerk. That relationship is a train wreck. Remember last season when Jo got a job and Slade retaliated by hiring a good looking personal assistant. He doesnt want Jo to be independent so I think she goes back to this infantile stage just to please him like with the cookies. Major regression going on there. She needs to leave him and grow up.
Thankds for letting me vent...

Regarding Tammi and daughters, I felt that people were kinda rubbing their nose in the fact they had lost all that money and now were not doing as well financially. Jeanna bragging about her necklace as if she doesn't know that her friend can't drop 15 grand on a necklace that, quite frankly, looked like it could have been bought for about 14,875 dollars less from QVC. Even Kara and the other girl asking Tammi's daughter why she doesn't ride; I don't know maybe because their horse tree stopped growing horses? I don't believe for one second that they don't understand the concept of can't afford it. These folks are crass materialists and very competitive to boot and seem to be relishing to a degree in someone that lost more money than they'll ever earn.

I felt sorry for Lindsay on this episode. How sad she felt she couldn't go back to school because her family was not 'rich' anymore. At least her parents are encouraging her to get an education and job and learn to take care of herself instead of marrying a rich man to support her.
Jeana's kids should take lessons from them. Those three brats already have their own million-plus dollar houses! But at least Kara is going to college.
I'm liking Vicki a little more this season. At least she gets away from the fakeness of Coto and goes to the river to unwind.
Jo is just getting more annoying each show. Why is she and Slade still together? She obviously doesn't want the same things he wants.

Laurie is so superficial, it's pathetic and quite sad actually. Poor Josh, seems like he's been in some trouble but he really seems to be trying hard to get mom's attention. Good luck to him on that! Right now the only thing getting any attention from her is George's wallet. It's a shame that a smart man like that can't see through her (or doesn't care to).
You know, Vicki gets on my nerves but she's the only one that has at least one foot in true reality. She worries obsessively about her kids (at least she cares unlike the others) and during her trip the lake she wasn't all stuck up like the rest of them would have been, which I can totally respect. It's really hard to respect anything that these women do and say. (Why the heck am I addicted to this show anyway?!?)

Thoughts on this episode...
What is up with Lauri's skin, in a few shots it looks pitted and not like old acne scars. Really, she has so much botox she looks like a talking corpse. She is such a gold digger, what is she really going to do taking care of at least 5 kids on a regular basis? The honeymoon does end. I can't believe that her fiance wants another child. He must be so distracted by her non-moving face that he doesn't realize that she is 45 (according to Vicki) or 42 (according to Lauri) well, whatever, and that she may not be able to or want to have more kids. I guess as long as he keeps opening that wallet she'll go along with anything.
Does Jo really care about Slade on some level? She seemed so confused about on one hand taking care of a family and household (whoo!) but on the other doesn't know how to cook or clean. I think that she needs to sit at the feet of Lauri and take some lessons in gold digging then make her decision. If she really is about the money than L.A. and job in Beverly Hills would put her in a position to live the party girl life and run across High Rollers at the same time. The issue is that she might have to take a dive in the living standards for a while and could she stand that? Also the idea that she would be working at the same company as Slade, who helped her move up in the company. How would that be? Or she could stay in Coto where she hates it, stay liqoured up and keep escaping for the weekends.
Is it me or is Slade looking crazier this season? I really liked his talk with Uncle Richie where he espoused some cr.ap about letting Jo go if need be. I don't believe that for one second. C'mon following her the the Playboy party, calling her all the time...whatever. If I was Jo I would be absolutely vigilant about taking birth control, because he seems like the type that would get her knocked up on purpose to get her to stay. Hey, he already has two babies from two different mamas this is familiar territory.
Vicki is her usual controlling self. My only complaint with Vicki was witholding her kids from their father until they were adults. I think her son especially would have benefitted with a relationship with his dad.
Jeanna, she needs help. She seems to have replaced emotional functioning with materialism. I believe things really do mean more to her than having a emotional connection. She has a lot of money but a hard life. Where is her husband? Her poor kids all they want is their parent's approval, too bad that approval is based in material accomplishments, Kara's grades and Colton and Shane's baseball acheivements. Where is the love, the acceptance for who they are, an acknowledgment of their dreams and aspirations?

I don't think Slade is looking "crazier" as much as showing how vulnerable he is. Jo has him wrapped around her little finger and she doesn't even really want him there which has gotten him utterly under her control. He looks scared every time he's around her. And the drunken "I'll always be your best friend" and "I'll always be there for her" verbage is his desperate attempt at keeping her. But he's got it backward. The more rope he gives her, the more she strangles him with it. If he took more charge and set some boundaries, he might stand a chance of her sticking around more than for the Daddy comfort he brings her. For respect.
She will leave him eventually, he'll stalk her somewhat and be crushed and it will be a long time before he can be open to another woman without bitterness/obsession over Jo. Pity his transitional woman.

Hello everyone
This is my first post on this board. I've watched Housewives for the past couple of sessions, and I find it fascinating - like watching a train wreck. I've never seen such a collection of truly horrible people in one place before. I wonder if these women have any real idea of how they and their families come across on this show.
Probably the least offensive is Vicki, who actually seems like a nice and competent person, although she's just too controlling. She needs to learn to relax and not worry so much, especially about her kids. But she does have strong values and she obviously loves and takes care of her hubby and kids, so she would definitely be my number 1 on this show. Kimberly from last year also was pretty okay.
Lauri is such a gold digging [expletive deleted]. I'm sorry to use those words but it's just true true true. She needs to focus on developing a career so she can make money for herself and her kids as she gets older, and stop looking for a sugar daddy. I'm amazed that a successful businessman like George, although he's nothing to look at, would marry an aging bimbo like Lauri. She's not even that attractive. Her boobs are way too fake, and her face just looks frozen. He could get a much younger bimbo with his money, or an older woman with class. Lauri, you need to stop focusing on creating your fakeness, and chasing your rich boyfriend, and start paying attention to raising your children. Your relationship with your son is especially sad. No wonder he's in trouble, you obviously just view your kids as obstacles to your gold diggin' career. The whole Republican thing was too sad. So these are the kind of people who end up running our country - people who are too stupid to even know what an incumbent is. I would not be surprised to see Lauri marry her sugar daddy, and some day run for office HERSELF as a front for his business interests.
Jeana came across better in the first season, but she really is pretty terrible too. I hate the way too much emphasis on money and competition and that she doesn't allow her kids to be what THEY want to be. Maybe Shane and Colton DON'T WANT to play baseball, and Kara, who obviously DOES think her mom is a "dirty [expletive deleted]" or she wouldn't say that at all, should go to school where she wants. She's smart, she'll do fine anywhere. I have to hand it to Jeana, at least she works, but really, money isn't everything and the whole obsession with baseball is SOOOO bizarre.
Jo is simply horrible. No one could possibly be THAT stupid. The cute act has mold growing on it. And Slade must be insane to put up with it. Jo is obviously NEVER going to be a happy wife and mother, and she's totally the opposite of what Slade needs for his kids. Slade needs a traditional housewife type, except she WILL have to be pretty dumb to put up with his controlling, needy ways. Maybe he should get a mail order bride. I hope that Jo comes to realize, that while she and Slade may not be suited to each other, that unless she wants to end up like Lauri, she needs to focus on developing her career, and building a life. Also, I think Slade is kind of creepy. I could definitely see him hiding in the bushes waiting for Jo to walk by.
Tammy doesn't seem like a bad person, certainly by the standards of this show. I just wish she had a better relationship with her daughter, who is going out with that creepy pitbull breeding guy. He's way too old for her, and it's obvious that she's acting out a lot of anger and hurt, and making some decisions that are just bad for her. I know that Tammy can see this, but I hope she's able to discuss it in a way that's helpful to her daughter. Other than that, she just seems to be trying to pull herself back up. Not sure what she does for a living, but I wish her well. Dad, seems pretty solid, despite whatever happened to him in prior years. Did I hear right that he has a young Thai bride, and that has become some kind of trend among his group? How weird these Coto guys are! I guess if you have money you don't need anything else.
As for the husbands, I just get the feeling most of them are in hiding until after the episodes are over. It's all about the wives. Incidentally, these women have way too much plasic surgery and boob jobs. They look like old Barbies, and it's not appealing. The boobs in particular get me, they're all so enormous and they just don't really match their bodies, and they're always flashing them. These women need to cover up their bodies - they make me think burkas are not an entirely bad thing.
I feel sorry for most of the kids, a lot of them seem pretty screwed up. Lauri's kids are definitely behind the 8 ball, and I see a tough road ahead for them. No role model. Jeana's kids need serious counseling. Colton's the best one,and he's obviously full of rage. Vicki's kids seem okay, except Michael is obviously kind of de-motivated, but I think he's just sick of being nagged. Tammy's daughter needs to stop tatooing her ass and understand that that man is just wrong for her, and she has to learn from her parents' mistakes - not repeat them.
The best person on the whole show to me seems to be Duff, and I don't understand why Tammy wouldn't grab him up. He's really cute and seems nice and grounded. I'd take him in a heart beat.
Just my thoughts, and I think this show proves that money really isn't everything. I know I feel better about my broke-ass life after I watch it. LOL!!!

I too have watched the show from the beginning. I think Jo is enjoying the spotlight now. She doesn't "need" Slade anymore. She's a local celebrity and is basking in it. If she leaves Slade and does her own thing there's no more storyline for her, she's not that "dumb".
Laurie is out for herself and that's it. She obviously has no problem leaving her kids and living her own life. She lives in the moment and needs money to do it. She's trying too hard to physically stay young, she looks a little too preserved.
Did anyone catch Jeanna say that she hesitated going with Vicki to Havisu because it wasn't Coto? She showed her true colors there. Can't be with the "real" people. What is 20 year old Shane going to do if he can't fullfill his legacy? Sit around the house and torture his younger brother? The other kids will end up successful, he may not.
I'm not so sure about Tammy. Her daughter said she didn't work. There are 10 lost years that we haven't heard too much about since she divorced. Then there is Duff and the Riley. Did she hook up and live off of him or what? What is the rest of the story?
Vicki is fairly real to me. She's came into that world from the outside and has conformed. But she made her own way. She is controlling but you can see that she really cares about her family.

Thanks redlands! I'm sure I will be joining often, now that I've admitted that I'm powerless against this show. Yah, check out Slade's head...they're well done, but done none the less. Once you see it you can see nothing else. It totally changes his image.
Jeana reminds me of the driven single moms some of my friends had in HS. She loves her kids but is very focused on other things. I'm really glad they stopped dragging out that sorry old Playboy relic...she didn't look so great in it and WHO CARES?
Also, if Laurie looks this bad on screen, how can George sit right accross from her and eat, let alone propose?

I cannot tell you how much my friends and I love this show. It is hands down the best comedy on tv. I am a little disappointed this season because it seems that they are all living up to their personas a bit too much - its almost as if they have become cartoons of their already bizarre selves.
You cannot imagine the laughs at work when we all talked about the line I think Vicki said about everyone wanting to be like them - typical California blonde. On the east coast, if those girls dressed and acted the way they do we'd all be wondering what trailer park they came out of. Not a brain in any of their heads and way too fake boobs and faces. And can we please show some class? Does every outfit have to look like you are trying to be the next hooker queen on Atlantic City's boardwalk?? For all their money, I am shocked to never see a classic, tailored suit or maybe some Chanel. Good lord, all they have to offer are really hard, veiny fake boobs and bad botox.
But I do want some of whatever Jeana is on to make her into the oblivious zombie
Slade - grow a pair and kick her to the curb and salvage what little dignity you ever had. I cannot believe you have any semblence of a professional life left after letting the world see you and this mess. I think your clients must be on whatever Jeana is in order to do business with you.

When I said "crazier" I meant the look in his eye, his actual look, his actions are pretty consistent from last season. I do agree that some of it can be sadness at stark realization that Jo just isn't wife material at this time an no amount of effort is going to change that. Too bad Slade is wasting his time trying to change a sow's ear into a purse. He would be better off trying to find someone else who has values more consistent with what he wants.

I was wondering what happened to Slades youngest, in the opening credits for the show this season they only show Slade, Jo and the older boy.....
Did the mom pull him out of this craziness (TV) to keep him normal/safe from all the insanity?

You are so right on all points. Didn't you just love Lauri's "conservative"dress! I guess if a person has spent so much money on their looks they want to show them off.

As of the last episode - this has turned from reality show to comedy show. All of these women need to realize that viewers are no longer laughing with them but rather at them and their blatant stupidity and shallowness. I pray that Jo doesn't become a mom - if she can't even follow the dumbed up directions on the back of a pre-mix how the heck could she adequatetly care for a child - wait how does she even take care of herself for that matter? I actually feel sorry for them - As a stay at home wife and mother living an affluent lifestyle in Manhattan, I wonder why they haven't shown their community service or outreach missions to help their community and less fortunate? These women are so lost and I think it is a shame that Bravo is making money on these losers.

I think you are right about Jeanna being on something... she reminds me of OJ during his trial.

While I disagree with you about Slade looking crazy (I've been saying since this season's first episode that he looks like Mel Gibson on crack), I do agree that all he has to do is pull the rug out from under Jo, and she'd put on French maid's outfit and like it. Tell her to hit the road. She won't get far.

Wow that Jo is looking pretty rough. Was she still drunk from the night before? She does not look like she is in her twenties. I kinda like Vicky now. When she got in touch with her 'white trash' side she was not pretentious and she loosened up. I hope that Kara ignores her mother's badgering about USC. I went to USC and it was a fine school but why would you not want your child to go to an Ivy League school?

Slade and Jo. Are they really so blind as to not see how mismatched they are? Neither one is a good fit for the other. Slade is subtly degrading and controlling - constantly trying to put square peg into a round hole (hello - she isn't who you wish she would be)...and Jo, why does she stay when she so obviously doesn't want to be there? They both need to let go and move on (the money isn't worth it). The relationship has clearly run its course

It's getting to hard for me to watch Jo in fact from now on when she comes on i'm just going to change the channel i can't stand stupidity especially when it's an act your a grown educated woman act like it it's not cute. As for her and Slade she said house, kids, responsiblity ..ugggh Slade there is your answer she doesn't want what you want move on. Vickie is ok she just stresses to much she loves her family and works hard though, so she's my favorite i can see why she takes so many trips just a word of advice take a chill pill no need to have a heart attack over random issues. Lauri what can i say you never tell your 8 year old daughter that your not intrested in what she is saying that it is all about you. not !
it's about her until she is 18 but from the looks of your other kids you don't know that. Also how can you vote for a party you know nothing about i guess that answers how Bush got re-elected people like her. Jeanna if Shane has his own house why doesn't his 20 year old butt live in it? i think your home would have less drama without him and maybe then your husband will come home. Jeanna also seemed so snobbish making that comment about Vicki and whatever that place was she went to those people looked like they had money and weren't stuck up about it you may have learned something from them if you would have given them a chance.

Hey Guys...
I'm new here but slightly obsessed with this show. I thought I would jump right in and give my own thoughts and note that all of you feel the same way I do about a lot of things.
Let's break it down accordingly....
JEANA: Liked her on season one but this season her true colors are coming out and it is NOT a pretty picture. She's way too materialistic, a snob, plays her kids off of each other/plays favorites and never lets an opportunity to tell you how sucessful she is pass by. And I agree with everybody who says her baseball obsession borders on the downright creepy. I also loved her feigned horror on the show last night at the idea of her daughter going to Columbia University in NY, in Harlem no less (you know with all of the non-white poor people), as being the most appalling thing ever. Not to mention her crack about not going to the lake with Vicki because its not Coto. Child please. You went spread eagle for Playboy allowing a photographer to shoot your naked cooch...don't act like having a couple of beers on a boat with a few friends is beneath you.
VICKI: I'm amazed her husband hasn't cheated on her 200 times already at least because she is SO annoying, not to mention emascalting to both him and her son. Good God is that woman a control FREAK!!! Its obvious she loves her children and her family and wants the best for them, but enough already. I think its sad that she is still seeking her mother's approval at this late stage in her life but I understand. Her mother is judgemental and difficult. Vicki to me is the most "normal" one on the show but she has issues...MAJOR issues. Her poor son is stifling under her control and his non-motivation about his life and school is proof positive of that. Its his way of rebelling against her.
I did however like her letting go at Lake Havasu. That made her look like a real person having a good time without a care in the world or a thought to keeping up Coto appearances.
LAURIE: GOLD DIGGIN TRANNY. Sweetie lay off the botox, you look hard. Like your face is going to crack if you smile and your breasts are going to explode if you engage in any kind of strenuous activity. How much do you want to bet she quits her job with Vicki now that she has landed another rich sugar daddy?? And dollar to doughnuts her fiancee breaks up with her by the end of the season when the reality of undertaking her trainwreck of a family finally hits him. She's a perfect example of what happens when you get by soley on your looks, don't get an education and have to rely on a rich man to take care of you. She's holding on to George for dear life because she knows at age 45 her gravy train riding days are numbered. I have a feeling Laurie is going to get her heart crushed and getting engaged to someone after only knowing them for six months is a recipe for disaster even if she claims otherwise. This logic from a woman who claims when you know you know if a person is right for you but didn't know her ex-boyfriend from last season was a crackhead/drug dealer.
JO: I didn't like her the first season of the show, can't stand her now. Slade is an idiot, he could do SO much better finding a woman who wants the same things he wants out of life, but he is hypnotized by Jo's kitty cat and she knows it and works it to her advantage. Jo acts like guys such as Slade (nice looking, fit, and rich even though he has control issues up the ying yang) are right around every corner, falling out of trees and she can treat him like crap because men like him come around every day but nothing could be further from the truth. Jo needs to understand that she isn't going to be young and cute forever and to get herself some awesome birth control because Slade seems like the type to oops her and get her pregnant so she will never leave him. Doesn't he already have two different baby mamas?? Jo doesn't love Slade, she loves his money. Why he hasn't realized this yet I will never understand. Even his own parents realized this when they came to visit him last season. And Jo needs to STOP with the stupid and helpless act...its annoying.
TAMMY: Too soon to tell. She seems pretty normal but she also seems like she is dying to go back to her privledged former life even though she claims she knows what is important after losing it all. Her tattoed daughter however is a trainwreck in the making.
I also wanted to add that I agree with whomever on this board said they wondered if Jeana is as sucessful as she claims and wonders if these Coto residents aren't mortgaged to the hilt. I have a friend who works in real estate and she says there are two ways to tell who really has money in a so called wealthy neighborhood. If they live in some huge mega McMansion but hardly have any furniture inside after living there a few years, they're in trouble. If they have more family members living in a house than bedrooms, they're in trouble. Remember that the next time you watch the show.
Thanks for letting me vent.
