Ok slap myself.....Here's to Marcel....My last time...I don't think he's ADDH or has Aspergers...I think he is a cool -confident talented cool kinda nerd and he is also very eloquent and very confident...He's alos very helpful.
I watched some old episodes today and he was helping everyone..WTF???
He's prolly arroagant but he came to WIN and like Tiffani not to make friends..But unlike Tiffany he had a heart and soul.
No he is not a saint...but he is the only chef this season who is left to act maturely and ya godda give the guy cred for that.
All season I tried to see the negative as they all wanted us to believe.......... but I couldn't see it.
He has earned my respect and he has earned my crush.....lol
I am so mad at Betty...I do think she perpeyuated this hate Marcel bandwagon and rallied the troops....Who the hell knows why a grown woman would act that way.
In the preview she is so phony as she screams to Ilan....Come here baby......Grrrrrr
I love the guys confidence.....He's DOPE and soignee!
I still like Sam and would DO him no doubt .....he and the rest are very talented. Even Ilan and Elia have great qualities but they are young and hopefully will learn much from this .

Thinking of last season, that was what cost Tiffany any possibility of winning; she was busted by the other competitors!! Dave ratted her out on the dessert just before she was about to take total credit for it and all the others who assisted the final 2 chefs thought Harrold should win!! For good measures Harrold got a kick to her teeth by saying to the judges that you have to work well with others, etc!! Tiff was totally deflated since she commented earlier that she wasn't there to make friends and it cost her BIG TIME!! I wonder who will knife Marcel because you know it's going to happen!! lol!! I hope Ilan isn't too much of an ASS tonite!!

The Spanish and Spanish-American populations out there might have alternate opinions. I doubt they think of their traditional cuisine as boiling down to "throw[ing] a bunch of crap together, add[ing] saffron, paprika, salt and peppercorns in a casserole dish, and pop[ing] it in the oven for about an hour." Of course, I could be wrong. I'm not Spanish.
I doubt they call their dishes "Spain" when they serve them too. If they're not Spanish, they might call the food "Spanish," or if they're Spanish, they might just call it "dinner." Not "Spain," though, because that would just be weird. Even in a plane. In the rain. And even in (mainly) Spain.

We both have our favorites. I'm rooting for Marcel because of the other chef's semi-unjustified to out-right unacceptable behaviors towards him in previous episodes.
I am betting that Ilan wins this season. He does work well with others and the chef's would pick him as a favorite over Marcel (to work alongside). However you look at this situation, either chef could win. It should be all about the food at this point. And they are both most excellent at that.

I'll join in that for a nice season...not sure about the decisions. Seemed tom talked out of both sides of his mouth a bit. Take a chance...stick with what you know.And...just watching the reruns...after what he told tiff...why she woudln't be a top chef...and who he chose this season...saying he didn't care about the kitchen crap....I dunno. I mean...it's a reality cooking show. I hope tom doens't see it as more than that.

Hi Everyone,
I thought a long time before joining the boards here as I have found boards in general quite frustrating. But alas, here I am!
So....Sam 'sturred' huh? Well the only thing that I saw Sam stIrring were pots. From episode one Marcel has been a pain in the proverbial posterior! I didn't think anyone could surpass Stephen from last season and Marcel made it for me. I would not last 10 minutes in the same room with the little puke!
And....Elia is a spoiled brat for staying true to herself, her own style, and displaying human emotion. Hmmmm.
I'd like to see Ilan win as Sam isn't there any longer. Seems a bit odd that he is gone when more flaws were found with Ilan's food. Lest we forget, that at the end of each episode it reads that the decisions were made in accordace with the judges AND the producers. Sam was right it is a reality cooking show and thus, must also be good 'entertainment.'
Enjoy tonight!

I just have to say, after watching Ilan throughout the season... I really hate him. If I found out that he was a chef at a restaurant I was eating in, I would walk out. He disgusts me that much. I'm voting for Marcel and anything less than him winning would be a travesty.

I wont be watching tonight...going out to dinner instead. If sam had been around, i probably would'nt have budged from my TV set...but w/ ilan and marcel, i dont honestly care who wins. I think ilan may be a good cook ( as long as he can use saffron), but he is such a whiny, petty human being, I cant want him to win. But the thought of marcel winning , cant drum up enthusiasm for that....hope the lowered ratings for tonights episode is a lesson for the future....never eliminate your sams or your harolds in the coming seasons, most people would justs stop watching.

Hey AI!
I just had the funniest thing happen to me about 10 minutes ago...tottally OT
I went across the street to my land lords store to get beer and smokes for tonights show... as I walk in I hear no Fuzzy Fuzzy come on you know what that means! He was trying to help his 7 year old daughter with homework and she kept saying I'm confused. So I said o.k little linda if I have not shaved for two day's my face is fuzzy...she just looked at me I said o.k. try this Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair, Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't Fuzzy was he? She srewed her face up at me and said that makes no sense...her Dad said sure it does..she just looked at him finally he say's O.K. the answer is Crappy! She broke into hysterics and punched him. So I was curious and picked up her homework looked at it and looked at my landlord and said ugh Ray that is pronounced Fussy as in if she crys all night the baby that is she is being Fussy not Fuzzy...and then I said oh by the way the answer is not Crappy but Crabby....he is israeli funny how pronunciation is when English is your secound language..it reminded me of Elia..

How VERY HAPPY I am that I was able to travel the globe and live in other cultures, as I still do a few months of the year. Tends not to narrow the mind and makes me realize the good in Americans (I am one, born to white Americans of European ancestry ) and glaringly points out ALL of the bad! I spent 7 years living abroad and, in this country, dare not say more as American's tend to view what I have learned as an attack on America. NOT true, but a different mindset do I have? Well at last TC season two is at an end. I think for Season three Bravo should bite the bullet and just name it TOP DRAMA, since that was the main idea this season. We saw more dramatics than cooking and were meant to care more for the contestants' actions OUTSIDE the kitchen than in. It seems the producers were editing (and staging) the show more for viewer reaction than for anything else.
Maybe the final twp contestants were the best but from what the audience was allowed to see, the choice was made more for a dramatic finale than for best cuisine.
I was disappointed in Chef's Tom opinion that Sam "didn't cook anything". Hawaiians eat many of their dishes "raw". Would Tom C. then consider many of the dishes that Alan Wong, Sam Choy, and Roy Yamaguchi prepare sub-par because they also aren't cooked?
I hope the finale ends with some grace and style, ingredients that were seriously lacking throughout Season Two.

I just have to say, after watching Ilan throughout the season... I really hate him. If I found out that he was a chef at a restaurant I was eating in, I would walk out. He disgusts me that much. I'm voting for Marcel and anything less than him winning would be a travesty.
~Rolls her eyeballs nearly out of her head~
GO MARCEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our guy..He looks nice in black..I missed this ...Damn but here it is.
On TWOP they don't like Roker for saying did anyone get hurt...They say he never saw the show....lol

NOT funny actor, my husband's FIFTH language is English. He is a linguist and language teacher in Morocco. Absolutely and proud of it!

and some people need to keep clenched just a little bit more. Gee, last time I went it was not diamonds. What's the matter anyway? Same thing, as with most who don't know me, I lived and live a dream most cannot ever attain? You don't know anything of the horrors of my life either and still, I lived my dreams. The easy part is selling up and getting on a plane. The hard part is having the guts to do it and still possess the class not to be vulgar.
Have a nice night and enjoy the show! ~smiles~

Thank you actor, I appreciate your time to explain. Perhaps, just perhaps I am a bit touchy tonight as my husband is 6,000 miles away and in the hospital. I don't have any trouble loosening up and the post simply hit a nerve. I do thank you for at least caring enough to clarify instead of being crude.
Take Good Care!!

Actor that was hysterical and was in no way offensive...The person is just being overly sensitive to a very sweet and funny moment...Like Robin Williams in Oh you know That movie where he plays a Russian...When peeps make language slip ups it is very funny and very cute...No pikilia~~~~
Oy~!
