On Bravo's new live online after-show,
"Watch What Happens", we've previously hosted various "Top Chef" duos in our studio:
Tom and Sam last week,
Gail and Cliff the week before that, and we just posted archived video of our first two pilot episodes, one with
Lee Anne and Josie and the other with season 1 chefs
Miguel and Cynthia! But nothing compares to having Marcel and Ilan appear on the same show, together... Hopefully, the boys can work out their differences live on your computer screen.

Tonight's big contest is the last,
And then the season will be past.
Who will the final Top Chef be?
"Watch what happens" and you shall see.
A battle royal twixt Ilan and Marcel,
Each hoping to do very well,
And wow the judges with their food,
Suppressing all the "attitude."
Can Ilan be nice, and worthy of the crown?
Will McFoamy soar and beat him down?
Who will produce smashing good dishes,
And realize his fondest wishes?
We're "on pins and needles" as we wait,
Fueled by the Food & Wine debate
And our own perceptions of who is best;
Tonight is the last and ultimate test.
Will Sam and Michael support Marcel well?
Or will their behavior cause him hell?
Will Betty and Elia be really fired up
To get back at Marcel, that little pup?
Tonight will be a clash of nerves;
Who can cook with flair and verve?
For once, can they put away 'tude,
And just make some magnificent food?
For $100,000 they do compete;
The judges all will be replete
After five courses of well-made food,
And on their decision they will brood.
It will be really interesting to see

after watching these reruns- I see now that Sam was a responsible for sturring up alot of negative things toward poor Marcel- betty, frank, cliff and him teaming with Ilan and Elia they constantly bad mouthing Marcel- Tom was right saying all 4 shouldve been booted off- but that didnt happen to keep the game going but what were they thinking puttin Ilan instead of Sam? it shouldve been Sam and Marcel final 2 and with Marcel winning because he truely is the clear winner by talent and maturity. Go Marcel

I didn't enjoy it. I thought the NYT was classier than this. Taking a shot at Marcel right off the bat. Jeez.
As for watching tonight, no thanks.
Bravo used to be my favorite cable network, going back to Inside the Actors' Studio. Not anymore.

True, Sam was a big instigator!! Checking out the reruns, it finally dawned on me why Ilan was wearing that green bandana and hoody earlier in the season for interviews; he was hiding the fact that he had shaved his head!! DUH!! lol!!

You are so correct about that. Right away they diss Marcel, I mean they sort of half-heartedly diss Ilan, but not really. I guess he jumped on the Hate Marcel bandwagon. Go Marcel!

Especially since Ilan should not even be in the final two!! It should be SAM vs. Marcel, the only TWO chefs that consistantly showed their skills throughout the entire series, Sam being top dog almost every episode. This season has proven that the show is not based on true merit. Ilan has been ridiculed for his cooking MANY times and the way he has tried to put others down shows his incompetence as a top chef. Sam has proven himself so many times that there should not have even been a choice. Marcel was one of the few who consistantly tried to do things differently and not take the easy way out (listening Ilan??) Ilan showed his true colors early on and lost all credibility, as did Elia and her stances against the other chefs. She is a very weak person, easily swayed and needs to go back to Denny's. If the spoiler is correct, this show was rigged!!!

Whatever it means, I bet Rosie will mercilessly call out Cliff for the assault and Elia for her unsupported cheating allegations. Donald Trump will be outraged, once again calling her a "fat slob" and a "mental midget," and will hire "these wonderful people" as consultants on an episode of "The Apprentice" that has two teams starting restaurants. The team running Cliff's restaurant starts squabbling, and Cliff puts the leader in a headlock to stop them. Trump praises him for effective leadership and mourns that he is only a consultant, not a contestant. Trump then hires Cliff as a consultant for WWE, instead. Elia says "I queeeeet" when the team running her restaurant overrules her menu suggestions. "Are they for reeeeeeel? Poooting a sauce in a 'amburger bun? I kook my product zoh zeeeee flavors of zeee 'amburger come out. Not cover it up with a sauce." That team wins for its Hawaiian Hamburgers with Pineapple Poi sauce. On The View, Rosie crows that the stupid team used Marcel's idea. Donald Trump is royally pissed and goes on Larry King Live, David Letterman, and Entertainment Tonight to call her a "fat slob." He sends her a letter, simultaneously releasing it to every press outlet on earth, saying she is "dumb," "stupid," "ugly," and a "mental midges" who just doesn't understand that the producers of The View are sick of her and will fire her. The producers of The View, noting the skyrocketing ratings, promptly sign Rosie to a five-year, $30 milliion contract. Rosie calls Trump a "hot bag of wind with bad hair" and says "The Comb-over" is over. Trump, outraged, features several claymation fights on WWE of Elia punching out Marcel and him decapitating Rosie with a chef's knife. Trump then starts a rival talk show with friend Donny Deutch and comedienne Kathy Griffin, called "The Poo," and proceeds to pontificate daily as the leader of that panel.
