ok I'm all for lesbians dating and having fun but Jackie's behavior was borderline skanky. and it was disrepectful to rebecca, tiffany , her employees and to jackie herself. nasty !
atdwx3
I have a question.. the theme song for the show, I looked everywhere... does ANYONE know what the theme song is?
tracy727
its obviously a song written for that show

Jackie seems like the type of person that always points the finger at the other person. I know some of you all have dealt with a person like that. A person that puts you through alot, then you start to speak up, and then they immediately make themselves the victim. They bascially throw themselves a pity party. For two seasons, Jackie has talked about everything that Mimi has done. It's all Mimi's fault. Meanwhile, she does all this stuff with Rebecca and the minute the other girl (Jennifer) comes around, it's like 'screw you I'm with her'. The trainers look at her crazy and she calls them jealous. No, you're playing games with this girl that they work with. They watched this MINUTES before, come on. That's where the real hostility comes from. It really has nothing to do with guys or girls being jealous. Andre said it good, she's a pimp. Oh yeah, lesbians can be pimps too. I think Rebecca is, like alotta women, attracted to (1) the power and (2) the attention from Jackie more than anything else. Isn't this the episode where they talk about Doug? It hasn't happened so far yet.
tracy727
jackie definitely has her negative side - last year she interrupted brian rudely when he was training a client. now she invites a girl out while she is flirting with another girl. I didn't like the way she described her prowess to andre - my fish will always be hotter - what the hell is that. her therapy session was kind of fake as well. she seems really emotionally off -i would not be surprised if she was back with mimi next episode.
atdwx3
Yah, but it has to have a name...

jesse is a little jealous [censored]. he can't stand it that someone else at work might have jackie's attention. if he weren't so obviously gay i would think he's in love with jackie. i think it was in bad taste for jackie to ditch rebecca. jackie and rebecca are grown women and their relationship is their own business. i hope jackie puts jesse in his place..the little [censored]

I actually felt bad for rebecca

I don't. She's an idiot if she continues to go along and be the Jackie's side dish. She saw how Jackie was toward her when Jennifer came around, but she's still trying to "hook" up. If Jackie knocks her off and then tosses her aside to be with Jennifer, (who probably will see the same thing eventually also down the line) it's all her fault. What I thought was funny was how Rebecca said she isn't jealous and that she cares about Jackie in such-and-such way, but later on said she had thoughts of "mine, mine, mine" when Jennifer came over. And it's blatanty obvious that it does bother her a bit. I mean, why would she ask who Jackie likes better in the next episode? Why would she ask who would she choose if she had to?

As a lesbian, I am completely disgusted with Jackie's pseudo-bravado. The chick is an egomaniac with borderline bestiality issues. Control freak probably describes her best.

I'll let my girlfriend give me updates on this trash...as for me, I won't be watching anymore.
tracy727
Tiffany doesn;t seem genuine to me. she and jackie dated before from the conversations it seems like the sex was one sided and that she was aphase to tiffany - the relationship with tiffany was probably another extension of jackie's self esteem issues. I would not be surprised if tiffany just cme back on the scene for a little air time. just judging by the kissing and the passion - rebecca seems more into jackie
silkyshell
sometimes the show seems very scripted. is it just me? i agree that jackie and rebecca make a better combo than that tiffany person. do i think it will last with either one? no!
on another note..i cried every time they showed doug tonight. it was so sad

I see where you're coming from, but I have to disagree with Rebecca being more for Jackie. I think it's obvious since Season 1 that Rebecca simply craves attention. She also comes off like the type that goes after people who have power. I believe those are the main reasons why she has all of a sudden "fallen" for Jackie. And that's the main reason why I feel like she will not be able to deal with Tiffany (why did I think her name was Jennifer for anyway?). She wants to be the center of attention. I just feel like Jackie acts a bit immature to be, what, isn't she 37? She's coming off like a 22-year old that recently started dating.
tracy727
As a lesbian you don;t have to take ownership of every other lesbians behavior. This was really the first time that i saw jackie in a different light. maybe it wasn;t all mimi. jackie seems a little manipulative and inmature. i mean did she have to tell rebecca that she was texting tiffany. i guess because jackie got played by a young girl for years she feels it necessary to play games now. she needs to feel good after feeling so low for years - sad.
tracy727
I was going to correct you with the whole jennifer thing - lol!! last week i was all like there is nothing wrong with jackie dating rebecca. but i saw the power differential tonight and it was not cute.
beautifultragedy
It was so sad to see Doug this episode! He and his ex-partner were obviously really in love and it's so tragic that his life was cut short.

Also, not that I really care all that much, but I didn't realize what a slut Jackie was! This woman needs to grow up. She says she's "dating" but DATING isn't just having sex with everyone you kiss. Plus, you know perfectly well that the only reason she's even interested in either of these girls is because they're "forbidden" (given that she's the first lesbien relationship for either of them). The truth is, I really like Jackie, and I don't see any problem with a little sluttiness once in a while. But don't pretend that you're just acting 16 years old because you can. I was 16 once and I never hung all over one person all night and then went home with someone else. That's just stupid and disrespectful.

i'm not commenting on the homosexual nature of the show, by the way. i'm commenting on the EDITING and the MUSIC.
tracy727
I have to disagree first of all jackie and tiffany had sex previous to this show - other than that how is jackie having sex with every woman she kisses ?? also your statement about jackie only being into the women is because this is their first relationship with a woman - how in the world would you know that. thats a silly comment - as a lesbian certain women will appeal to you and others will not.
skovron
Can someone update me on Doug. I missed it. Please give me the scoop. Thanks.
Macey1
I think it's kind of disgusting the way Jackie is playing Rebecca and Tiffany against each other for her attention. That is a pretty egotistcal and insensitive thing to do even a "casual" dating arrangement. She should see one woman at a time.It reminds me of her still being in a relationship and "dating" another woman earlier on the show.If your in a bad relationship end it and then date someone else. But don't be suprised when you step out on your girlfriend on national TV and she is jealous and furious with you.I didn't like Mimi but even she didn't deserve that.
lovelyt
I was kinda taken aback at how this show has become all about Jackie's sex life the only working out i recall from last nights show was from the lady that Erica is training who made the weird faces. I'm very sad about Doug you can tell what a great person he is and how loved he was he will be missed by all i think. Alot of people are giving Jesse flack but if my best-friend all of a sudden started making out with someone we work with ( and yes we work together) and not mention anything to me i would say something also. We really don't know what goes on in these people's heads so i'm not going to pretend to understand what Rebecca is doing if she is fine with how thinngs turn out and how Jackie treats her i'm not one to judge, but i know i would have been very hurt to have her treat me like nothing when Tiffany showed up.
whoknows
I wanted a show that helps with work outs, this show has nothing to do with working out. It is about lesbian dating
canthandleths1
ahhhhhhh.....man just let jackie be..she was in a long term relationship she just got out of she is just having fun figuring her life out sooooo what if she dates 2 women from 1 lesi to another props to her as long as no one gets hurt she is one hot lady i would be number 2..lol and not care on bit
Peeti
I love what this show is about this season. I only wish it showed more of Rebecca and Jackie together.

Oh, come on. Give the woman a break. I think this is what all people do when they get out of a longterm relationship.

I was with my life partner for 16 years until he died of a heart attack back in 1995. For the next4 years I went Bear and then defined the word "slut". I didn't consider myself to be a bad person. I was just figuring things out.

I've been with my current life partner for the last 7 years. I figured out what I wanted and I've not strayed since.

Jackie will be fine. I do wish she would discover something my mother tolde me though. "Don't [censored] where you eat".

That's it

I was disappointed in Jackie on this episode. Making out with someone in the bathroom is skanky and nasty!
She should have checked on Doug sooner. She knew he came in everyday but let a week go by and didn't even try to find out what was going on with him or where he was. And Brian claimed to be Doug's best friend and he didn't check up on him either. Some friends!
aquariaqueen
Regarding taking so long to check on Doug, I was thinking the exact same thing! However, maybe they did, and couldn't get through. But it sure seems to me, they would have been able to hunt him down somehow...
rxgrrl
I could understand him not answering his phone but they could have gone to his home, asked the neighbors if they had seen him, ect...
aquariaqueen
I felt like I was watching a virtual memorial/eulogy. It was very nice, everything was so upbeat and positive about Doug.

I am glad he and Jesse made amends, it seems as though everyone had a very high respect for him.

I loved how Laurie came to his party as a friend, but was it was getting a little awkward for me when he told everyone about her being a client and wanting to lose weight. She looked fabulous. It was cute when she asked if she could eat and drink!!!

I loved how he included Erika in the birthday celebration.

It was a very sad foreshadowing when he told Cheo this would be his last birthday party.....made me so sad, and love him so much more.

Doug was such a lovely man, inside and out.

Bravo was very tasteful with this episode when it came to Doug.
incredible
Hmmm, where to start. Ok first let me say that Jackies behavior is a little "immature" and not classy. I am a hetrosexual male and the fact that Jackie is a lesbian is not an issue, what is an issue is the fact that the show has turned into a showcase for Jackie's lesbian love affairs. I mean there is a time and place to show the trainers personal life etc, but with Jackie the way the show has evolved is not with keeping with the theme "Work Out". Also the way that Jackie handled the situation with Rebecca and Tiffany was just plain wrong. I mean Jackie complains about the way Mimi treated her and then she turns around and treats Rebecca with total disrespect and then theres another makeout session, this time with Tiffany, give me a break. I really don't need to see Jackies love life showed week in, week out. Dating is one thing but Jackie's actions are adding to the misconception that Lesbians are out for just one thing.

I thought that Erika showed a lot of class in the way she handled the Rebecca/Tiffany situation. She could obiously see that Rebecca was hurt by Tiffany's arrival and the way Jackie was now acting.

Andre, grow up. Just because Rebecca and Tiffany do not want to have anything to do with you romantically is no reason to act the way you do, if they did have any feelings for you the way you act I'm sure changed those feelings.

Brian - I really felt for Brian when Jackie broke the news about Doug, you could tell he was deeply hurt and not sure how to handle the situation.

Doug - wow what a great guy and a great loss. Doug seemed to embody everything a trainer should be as well as being an all around great person. I can honestly say that when Jackie broke the news it was one of the saddest moments I have seen on TV in quite a while. Also I think Jackie handled the situation of breaking the news perfectly. What a terrible thing to have to tell your staff, she did a good job in that situation.
inashell
"Egotistical" is the correct word, Macey. Jackie's head is on serious SWOLLEN! The way she treated Rebecca in the restaurant was cold, period. Put yourself in Rebecca's shoes, Jackie. Then to whisper in Rebecca's ear, "Call me in the morning." If I were Rebecca, I'd be through with her. I wouldn't want to be anybody's side dish--I'd want to be the main course or nothing! Get some self-respect, Rebecca.
Then that comment Jackie made to Andre about the fish in her pond always being better than the ones in his, or something like that. Who in the heck does she think she is? Rebecca's cute, but Tiffany ain't all that! I'm sure Andre has some cute little chocolate (or vanilla) hotties in his little black book. Jackie isn't the only one who can get a woman. I get the feeling she's not that great with competition from anyone about anything, be it business or pleasure. Get over yourself, Jackie!
Lastly, for someone who's 38, Jackie does act very immature. There's nothing wrong with having fun, but act your age, for goodness sake! All that kissing in a public restaurant was in poor taste. Anyone could have walked in on them. I agree with those who said she behaved like a slut. C'mon, with all the clout she supposedly has, you'd expect a little more discretion than that, in my opinion.

I am so sorry to here about Doug. I read about it on my home page on MSN. I know all at the Gym are at a lost.
I enjoyed the show last night, I don't know if I can watch the
next shows showing doug sick. I do enjoy the show,I am so sorry for all of your loss as well as ours. For those of you who keep complaining about Jackie or any others change the channel or do you just like to watch to complain.
This show is about alot of things that do go on in everyday
life. If you don't understand the show turn it off.
anthony_ian
I know exactly what it's like to be in a long-term relationship that was extremely tumultuous and have it not work out. My response, like Jackie's (although I'm a straight man) was to go absolutely nuts dating women--doing all the things I thought I was entitled to do since I had put so much into something that failed. So yes, there's a bit of a selfish attitude there because you feel you deserve to have fun after such a long spell of drama, and you're not too worried about consequences.

That said, I'm not too sure that it's a good idea to date your employee if you're the owner/supervisor/star if only because you're opening yourself up to charges of favoritism and/or harassment should the relationship not work out and the employee is let go at some time in the future.

But it's her life and she can do what she wants with hit. Let her have fun, people--that Mimi was a handful and would have worn me out too. Jesse is jealous because he sees Rebecca as somebody who is now more intimate with Jackie than him, seeing that to that point he had been a "best friend." There is also, and I've dealt with this first hand, often a backlash from gay people when one of their own gets involved with a straight or bi person.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of wheels the Jackie/Rebecca relationship has, although I have to say, now that I've watched this show for a while, I hope Jackie finds happiness. She always struck me as a woman who completely excels in professional life and has built up an empire single-handedly... but is still waiting for that elusive love that will make her complete. Being a celeb and wildly successful is great, but doesn't make much difference at the end of the day when you go home to an empty house, or you lack someone with whom to share it. Usually most people are good at one or the other--Jackie is attempting the rare feat of being personally and professionally successful. It's a tough course to navigate.

AND being gay AND in L.A.... talk about a lot of minefields.

Jackie and Bravo would have shown a lot more class if they had at the end of the show announced that Doug had passed away and AT LEAST dedicated the next shows to him. And for all of you who are so caught up in the whole lesbian aspect..well that's what you tuned in for. It's obvious after the first five minutes that this show has nothing to do with training.
tracy727
ok i have to address something. its funny how people tune into a show that centers around a lesbian woman then they use the lesbian word to demean or single the show out. someone above referred to the show as a lesbian dating show someone else called it all about Jackie's lesbian love affairs. First of all its been established that jackie is a lesbian so to say Jackie's lesbian anything is repetitive. why can't it be Jackies love affairs or Jackie's dating life. little things like that are what causes prejudice to a certain group. the behavior belongs to Jackie not to lesbians . this is not how lebians behave its how Jackie is behaving. If she was hetero how much attention would her whole dating life cause. the fct that she is a lesbian makes the show a little more edgy or controversial because we are not used to seeing images of lesbians ontv openly anyway. but get over it - its no different - she is dating, she is two timing , she is making silly decisions - no different than hetero life.

then they should not title it as "work out" and be honest and title it "gay life for work out folks"
nevergirl
the fact that she is a lesbian does NOT as you said make the show more edgy..it just makes it about Jackie and her lesbian affairs. AND the reason people keep pointing out that she is a lesbian, is because JACKIE keeps doing that..that is the point of the show, haven't you gotten that yet? Otherwise it would be "workout" about working out. IF you don't want people to point out your sex life, stop making a point of it. who cares
tracy727
how old are you ??
Comatose
I really don't know what to think of this show now ...never met a straight or gay person that acted like such an over sexed monkey as Jackie ...hopefully this is just a made for TV drama ...and hopefully Jackie doesn't act like this in real life
mizzlee
I like this show! i agree with a poster on here that is seems scripted though!! the fact that Jackie TELLS Rebecca she is getting a text from Tiffany shows me she wants them to compete for her!! to me that seems immature & pretty big headed lol. If Rebecca is fine with the way Jackie treated her at the restaurant than that is on her lol, cmon!! She seems like she is out for some extra camera time to me lol

Jackie is out to have fun and isnt thinkin about the consequences!! I am curious to see how this plays out. to me it seems Rebecca may act up if things dont go her way!! LOL straight up DRAMA!! I hope to see more clients and less dating though also
kitty_kun
i totally agree! Poor Tiffany! I am surprised she's putting her relationship with her at risk by dating Rebecca!
TechN9ne77
Okay, I'm still trying to figure out how people are justifying Jackie's actions by basically saying "she was in a long rough relationship, let her have fun". Man, you have to be one helluva bitter person about your own life and previous relationship if you immediately start dating and playing with other people's emotions. That's really what it is. Tell them exactly what they wanna hear. Example: Rebecca asks Jackie who she liked more and she says she likes them equal. Get real. I mean, yeah, it's fine if you want to go out and play the field after a rough relationship, but at least do so with people that are looking for nothing more than maybe the same thing. I'm sure there are plenty more girls out for nothing more than sex. And say what you will, but Jackie is only looking for sex out of both Rebecca and Tiffany. Listening to the dialogue, most of her comments deal with the physical. Example: how she said Tiffany had gotten better in bed now that she is more aggressive and "masculine" at the table after the trainers had left. During the therapy session, sex with Mimi was described as "mind-blowing". Maybe that's why it lasted so long. She has constantly thrown flirting remarks out about Rebecca about what, her physical attributes. She even threw a shot Zen's way, remember this: "Zen has a nice butt. I look at Zen in a total different way now". Wow. Here's a bit of trivia, in the two seasons of Work Out, how many women has Jackie messed around with? I'm willing to bet well over 5 (including the dates she went on in Season 1 when she was with Mimi). The thing that gets me more than anything is this woman is 37 yrs old. All of these so-called hook-ups with all the drinking (what's up with all the drinking on this show? A helluva lot for a show about getting into shape) just reeks of immaturity. But more importantly, I think it can be interpreted negatively by people. People are already quick to label lesbians as only looking for sex and Jackie's behavior makes it seem like she is a freakin' nympho all of a sudden.

You think they'll show Jackie going to the doctor to treat an STD????

I just think Jackie is a mess. Check out this link about her on defamer. I mean really a 40 year old mess. Get a grip.

Friday 4/8: The roommate and I are one of a handful of homos who
didn't hop the caravan to Palm Springs for White Party...we decide to celebrate by going to the classiest bar on the SM strip: Motherlode. About halfway through a game of pool we spot everyone's favorite lezzie trainer, Jackie Warner from Bravo, looking very VERY [censored] up and dancing with a hot chica (NOT the crazy brazillian). Jackie's femme friend was basically lifting her shirt over her head on the dance floor. Almost saw some trainer ta-tas. Also, Jesse the fat gay trainer was there with them, looking rather portly. Guess that season-long quest to shed some pounds didn't work out.
