LOL....Jesse saying they needed to get Erika a bunch of children of different races for the star look-a-like agent. That was funny.
Erika talking with her client about being more devoted, getting her knee checked out, and carving out some time for herself. Did you think Erika could make someone cry?

Oh my gosh, did you see those clothes? I would have thought I was the butt end of a joke when I opened that box. I probably would have blamed Jesse and Andre' for the cruel joke.
"Those look like Wal-Mart clothes".
"No, Wal-Mart's clothes are better".
LOL
And then the call and Jackie saying she's excited to meet with the buyers tomorrow.....can't wait for this.
Back to the show!

Rebecca's at Jackie's as she's preparing her suitcase for Indianapolis. did you see Rebecca looking through her suitcase when Jackie left the room to grab her jacket????
They speak about Doug and his condition and how Rebecca will let her know if anything new is found out. I don't know, it seemed pretty scripted or that they did that take a few times....something was amiss.
Anyone see that?
The photoshoot with Erika was cute....she's downright gorgeous. Glad Zen was there for her.
When they asked if they could tape her breasts....LOL. Erika kinda pushes her breasts together, and insinuates that Zen could help. Zen says "nuh-uh, I'm not touching them". LOL
(I tell ya, there needs to be a funniest quotes post each episode, there's some funny stuff said)

We have Erika following Meagan to a designer's to pick out a gown for the upcoming awards she has to cover.
First dress was great, but honey, that second one was horrible. Nobody should have to know where your belly button is.
Jackie is in Indy, furious with Steve the manufacturer. She goes to Paiva, and for some reason beyond me, she was able to entice them without having samples for them to view. I can't believe they didn't ask to see them.
Ok, next segment....looks like Jackie is back at the therapist's office.

At the therapist's she says she wants to reconnect with her mother, and also see her father's grave which she hasn't done. She's planning a trip to Ohio, to make connections.....
Overall, great episode. Good character development involving Erika. I hope they continue to spot light someone different each week.

I hit this show a couple minutes at a time!! It's hard since I was hoping Jackie would be as professional as all her trainers like to proclaim!! None of 'em are!! Tacky, rude, crude, nosey, horny, etc, etc, etc!! Too weird!! A lot of activity here!! Good luck!! I'll stick with Shear Genius for now!! Can't wait for PR4 and TC3!! Later!!

Peeler needs to make the attempt to emotionally connect with his clients. Peeler is the only one of the SKYLAB trainers that acts as though he could care less about the welfare of his client.

Tonight's episode was really good in my estimation. I think Peeler tries to connect with his clients but it isn't his style to be "huggy bear kissy faced" about it. Not his nature.
I saw the intro for next week's episode and my heart was so saddened, Peeler really took the loss of Doug hard, the others shown also seemed very distressed. I along with many will really miss Doug on the program. He was the rock of the group and seemed to be the most stable of all the trainers.
I will be glued to the tube next week to see the episode.

Sadly yes. And I must say.... I was totally disgusted with the whole charade. It's bad enough that all of these folks are total narcissists with no real sort of concept of how the world sees them. But to go back, after the fact (his death) and to re-edit a scene just left me with the sickest feeling EVER. Poor Doug, he was the most deserving of, yet had nobody in that gym who had his back.

It took place when Rebecca was on the bed, and Jackie was packing. It was so
emotionless, and like they needed to cram the story in somewhere. It just seemed odd to me.

I don't blame Jackie for not liking those clothes, they looked ugly.
I did not think Erika looks anything like Angelina Jolie. And the guy they had for the Brad Pitt look-a-like didn't resemble Brad at all. I'm looking forward to next weeks show when Jackie deals with her Fathers death. I have a friend who went thru a similair experience, her father was in Vietnam too and died young.

this episode didn;t really do anything for me. I must say I do like Gregg I think he has a soft way about him that makes him very personable and he comes across in a genuine way. also I think Jackie should hook up with her therapist - not bad for an older woman - I wouldn;t put it past this scripted show - jackie and her therapist gettin it on until that sand runs out on her session - lol. and Erika - seriously is she on drugs ?? she doesn't look all there to me. and i find her not in the least motivating when she did her speech to her client. If i was a skylab client she would be my last choice as a trainer

I'm disgusted that Bravo is using the passing of Doug as a reason to watch the next episode. It's completly inappropriate and I can't believe Jackie is letting this happen. BAD TASTE. Can't even watch the show anymore.
They should have dedicated the season to him and left if at that. It's wrong for Bravo to be profiting because of someone's death. I can't believe Jackie is letting this disrespect go unquestioned. Everyone involved in this should be ashamed of themselves.

On one hand, I totally agree with you. I think it is poor etiquette to *use* his passing to sell the show. But on the other hand, this is a reality show, and this is actually a REAL event that happened in their lives. Tragic, and real. How they work through the loss can be as uplifting to watch as the clients finding their new bodies.
I'll watch again, but with one finger on the remote. If there is any sense of sensationalism, I'm out.

I think our instincts on this one are right on... unfortunately.
It truly does sicken me, and it makes me see Jackie in a whole new light (one that is the most unflattering.)
And yes, it is totally sick of them to drag his death out show after show after show. When in reality, wasn't he only in the hospital for about 2 weeks before he passed? At least 1 week had passed before he even phoned Jackie. This is totally p!ssing me off the more I think about it. BLECHK!!!

good point. apparently it hit them hard. what we dont know is, whether the question was put out there if they wanted to stop taping and end it there. this may have been a group decision-- they other thing is .. isnt this episode 6? and isnt the series just 6 episodes.. If Im mistaken, please correct me. My perspective is this... Jackie isn't handling the editing on this, thats someone elses job... Doug was a great person and this show gives us that glimpse of him in an honorable way. Perhaps this is a way of honoring doug, perhaps that is what the decision was, to honor Doug. I dont think they intentionally meant to do any harm to his memory. It also shows how the other trainers felt about him...personally. I cant judge these people by what Im watching. Thousands of hours of taping occured and all but the hour we get to see hit the floor or was edited. whatever they do. so my judgements are in check. If I ever get to meet these people( which Im sure wont happen.. Im a realist) I won't know how to read them. this is just my humble opinion(and rather rambling one at that!) Im still gonna watch and I hope there is a next season. Its interesting to watch people and try to figure out their truth, but that can't be done in an hour on a television show. ok I'll retreat to my corner and see what happens

Does anybody find it a little extreme that Jackie is putting all the Sky Lab clients on such a strict diet? I understand the need for them to change their eating habits, but so many of them turn to food for comfort and Jackie is basically telling them that they can not have ANYTHING - even sugar free, fat free Jello! It seems to me that some of these clients will end up on a serious binge. What's so wrong with a "try not to do this, but if you absolutely cannot take it anymore have some sf/ff jello instead of cake" approach?

It's a real tragedy finding out that one of Jackie's best trainers passed on January 2007. Doug was my favorite on the show, being patient and understanding to his client's needs.
One thing I do have to point out is that the episodes being aired were events that happened months ago, similar to other show filmings. These reality shows are not live broadcasts, so I hope this would help straighten ideas against Jackie and Rebecca when they were talking about Doug in this episode.
One last thing, Bravo currently has a link to Doug's Foundation. Being such a great person and a way to remember him by it would be greatly appreciated to help contribute something for his cause.

No sh!t sherlock. No doubt that the editing was also done shortly after his passing. Kind of a last ditch effort to save face IMO. To make them appear more caring then they were at the time when Doug most likely would have appreciated a phone call or a visit. This conversation was totally contrived IMO. I have a feeling that the filming was going on at the time Doug died. I know that it is shown months later to the viewing audience. It is possible that much was staged for the camera but I have a feeling that they were probably at the gym or together when they heard of Doug dying. We will never know but I have the feeling the reactions were pretty much on target. As I have said before, Doug was the rock of the group. The settling influence that kept things under control. I also wonder if that is the reason that Work Out 2 is so short, episode wise. I can not remember how many there were last time, but seems to me less that last year. I am glad they are, or I hear they are, going to have a reunion episode, maybe some of the trainers will be involved in it along with the people being trained.

I am a personal trainer and completely agree that such a restrictive diet is a set up for disaster. I put people on a strict diet for a couple of weeks to get them out of the cycle of food "addiction", then I tell them they can have 1 cheat meal per week. They can eat whatever they want for that meal as long as it is a regular sized meal (no 8 piece chicken buckets in one sitting!). This way they have something to look forward to within the week instead of a lifetime of deprivation. People tend to discover that when they do have these cheat meals after eating healthy nutrient-rich food all week, they feel physically bad. That allows them to see what that type of eating does to them. Psychologically, we don't want to eat things that make us feel bad. Their own bodies create the motivation for eating healthy!

On the one hand I can see it, she's trying to establish a lifestyle change (no snacking at nighttime). But if these people are going right from binging to this, it is too much of a change.
