Brian was fired for his two years of disrespect and insubordination. As Jackie pointed out on the beach saying it was not because of his training skills, it was for his insubordination (he wanted to train the client in a parking lot).
Women and men are built differently. Women have twice the nerve receptors as men so they feel pain more than men. It is unfair to hit a women in almost any situation. Only on extremely rare occasions (like threatening the life of a child) would it be justified.
LiaminLB, I did not say gay people can say one thing while straight people can say another which you implied I did. I want consistancy. The reaction to this episode has not been consistant with that of similiar incidents. It's been extreme.
I came here to defend Jackie against the extreme attacks leveled against her mainly because of her sexuality. Most will deny that's the case though.
Don't you know True, that we're all just Jackie under cover! We can't possibly have our own opinions and think that these hateful people have taken this too far! No one will answer your questions about why they don't write letters and spend day after day and hour after hour spewing hate about straight men and women on television who degrade. They'll just change the subject and say that Jackie shouldn't treat employees that way. Like it's any of their f*cking business! It's not!
I'm sorry but the issue isn't about Jackie's sexuality but I do have an issue with Brian's overall Homophobia and anyone who defends that idiot is most likely a total bigot. Doug B. only befriended Brian on the show! Doug had so many close friends and yet the only who exploited and used him for publicity was Brian Peeler! Doug grew up in LA, graduated from USC and you morons believe that somehow Brian was really "close" to Doug? It was insulting to the people who spent years by Doug's side and knew him on a very intimate level.
Once again Jamie Eason and her boyfriend Rich have yet to make a comment or statement. You know why? I do. They think Brian Peeler is a dumbsh1t cling-on who is also using them. Rich isn't friends with Brian. He barely knew him. Do you f*cktards even know who Rich is? Well, I'm not going to help you but I will tell you that he's a successful musician in an up and coming popular band who has toured with some big names and spends most of his time in New York. He doesn't want to spend his time or draw attention to the Brian Peeler "I'm so f*cking desperate" show! Jamie and Rich are trying to distance themselves from this and from Peeler but you no-lifers just keep riding the Peeler train who posts here and signs your petition. HE HAS NOTHING GOING ON! HE ALIENATES HIMSELF FROM ALL WHO HAVE KNOWN, MET OR BEEN NEAR HIM!
Deenie? Ooooh Brian's training Deenie! That's impressive! Sorry, but Deenie is a morbidly obese young woman who blames her situation on everyone and everything else. When my sister died in my arms, I didn't eat my way through a hundred Krispy Kremes stores or start smoking 2 cartons of cigs a day. How would me being an excuse maker victim honor her? Give me a break. The only people defending Deenie are obese people who wish to justify who they are and claim to be victims of society. PAHLEASE! Get off your asses! I'm sorry her mother died and that is very sad but using her as an excuse is pathetic. Victims! Just a bunch of whiney victims!

Article: Obese blamed for the world's ills Obese people are contributing to the world food crisis and climate change, experts say. The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine calculated the obese consume 18% more calories than average.
They are also responsible for using more fuel, which has an environmental impact and drives up food prices as transport and agriculture both use oil.
The result is that the poor struggle to afford food and greenhouse gas emissions rise, the Lancet reported.
It comes as the World Health Organization predicts the obese population will double by 2015 to 700m.
Transport and food policy and the importance of sustainable transport must not be overlooked Dr Phil Edwards, report co-author
In the UK, nearly a quarter of adults are classed obese, twice as many as there were in the 1980s.
The team found that obese people require 1,680 daily calories to sustain normal energy and another 1,280 to maintain daily activities - a fifth more than normal.
The higher consumption of food has a two-fold effect, researchers said.
First of all the increasing demand for food, drives up production.
This means that agricultural processes are using more oil to meet demand, which contributes to the rising cost of fuel.
The cost of fuel is then passed on in the cost of food, making it more difficult for poorer areas to afford it.
Prices What is more, the researchers said obese people are likely to rely on transport more and put more strain on that transport because of their mass, which again drives up prices and usage.
But the researchers said there was a solution.
Phil Edwards, who co-authored the article, said: "Urban transport policies that promote walking and cycling would reduce food prices by reducing the global demand for oil and promotion of a normal weight.
And they added: "Decreased car use would reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
"Transport and food policy and the importance of sustainable transport must not be overlooked."
But Dr David Haslam, of the National Obesity Forum, said it was "stretching it a bit" to blame the obese in the way that the study appeared to do. "Really, it is discriminatory towards obese people. They are an easy target at the moment, but I think the causes of climate change and rising food prices is much more complex."
