Just had to jump in here (for a second). You've hit the nail on the head (as it were) involving something irking me. The same "drama" occured last season when the Sky Lab clients weren't "where they needed to be" or weren't were Ms. Warner "wanted them to be" in respect to their weight-loss or endurance they "should have had". I wonder if Ms. Warner even considers how this reflects on her trainers? First there's much excitement and "we're very excited" about the pairings of client and trainer and how well they will work together. Then we will see Ms. Warner interviening on a training session because the trainer isn't motivating someone enough. Then there is the inevitable "I'm disappointed in the Sky Lab clients...they aren't showing up enough, they aren't working hard enough, they aren't in shape (which I thought was the reason they joined to begin with) they aren't showing up on time....." Then they are taken on a retreat, with the impending doom of perishing from near exhaustion and JW/trainers and counselor wonder why they're at each other's throats!
Sorry, had to get that off my chest.
But there should be something about cruel and inhumane treatment.
After all this isn't Survivor and it isn't a forum for masochists and sadists...
(although that might not be a bad idea to pitch)

My rehab nurse (who is also my friend) is looking over my shoulder at those qualifications. (She came to play with the baby goats) She said most of those she recognised as buy overline, pay, get degree things as it has already been pointed out. As for the CPR training(and I am disabled, bum right leg, with no knee cap), even I have that, and I believe everyone should have Red Cross first aid, you just never know when you need it.

I guess we now know why low impact exercise is alien to them. Water aerobics is not part of that pretty gym. Just because you work out in a gym for years, it does not make you qualified to tell an obese person to ignore their injury.

For anyone who is interested in becoming a personal trainer....

Some of the large "corporate" gyms, offer to foot the expense of your training and certification. You have to sign a contract to work for them for a specific period of time or reimburse your tuition costs.
But after that, it's all you!

I have a friend who did it & now she has her own clients & works for herself. She worked at the gym for 1 year and said the on-the-job training was extremely useful.

One year of working as an apprentice somewhere- sounds like training the "old fashioned" way...... Am I showing my age?

I guess I am tired. I read that post about doing it with 15 year old girls and had to reread it a few times. My mind went straight to the gutter, and I knew I had to have the wrong idea, which I did.

I had a first grade class come visit the farm back in March. My grown farm hands who have handled coyotes, wild dogs, rabid foxes, were scared of the kids. Rexy the billy did butt one of the little boys when he pulled a nanny's tail. I told the hands to follow his lead.

I did get a complaint because I explained to the kids(because I was asked) that bulls pee out of the middle, cows out the back and never to go into a pasture with a bull unless an adult said it was ok.

Oh my Booglie...I feel so city right now....thanks for the adivce...good for all city slickers...never go into a pasture with a bull....I love it! Rules for life.....you made my day Booglie!

whatever reason. The overlooking of some things last season gave her

the feeling that she might be able to go further across that line and

The idea that Jackie Warner had become a millionaire at 22 made me

wonder if she was just another dot.com millionarie even if she said it

was real estate. Why would she be flogging herself like this if she

was already wealthy? Wealthy being the wrong word of course. A

LOL you betcha I got one and she's one of a kind!! She ran up her text messaging bill an extra 100 bucks last month and I was pissed but I let it slide, I got this months and it was 300 bucks over!!! I did get one complaint back from one of the first grader's mom, that I should not have explained the difference between a boy cow and a girl cow. This cute little boy asked me if a bull had horns and a girl cow had none. He said I had a lot of bulls. I told the entire class about how to tell the difference, never to walk behind a bull or a cow, because they can kick you, and never to go into an unknown bull's pasture. (They were in my pasture, but both of my bulls are friendly. Unsafe bulls in my farm go to the stock sell.) Where I live that could save a cute little kids life, or they could save an adult's life who happens to be with the kid that knows that. The classes teacher who told me of the complaint was laughing her head off, she wondered what she expected her child to learn about on a farm.

The babies are doing well. We did get first milk into them, then bottled them, but I am concerned with the mother. She was a rescue , and not up to the best shape yet. The vet gave her some fluids and said if she makes through the night she will proabably be ok. I hope so. I never dreamed she would have triplets.

Oh I didn't know the mommy was sick, I hope she'll be okay poor mommy. Glad to hear the babies are doing well, that must be a blast feeding them with bottles, how dang cute is that?!

THANK YOU TRUEREALITY! I was here a few days ago and was quickly accused as being Jackie. Paranoid doesn't even begin to describe the harpies here! You're much nicer than I am. I don't believe for one second that all these middle-aged women with children are all lesbians! Especially, if they're backing Peeler. He's a bigot. There aren't two ways around that one! If they are lesbians, they can pick apart Jackie's personality if they must(I recommend getting a life and fighting discrimination), but she's an adult and can do what she likes. Doug also admits that his mission is to educate people He also told his SkyLab Laurie that he was her best friend. Get it? The man was loved and admired by many. He would have never approved of such a negative campaign but I'm willing to bet that most of you really hate gays and lesbians. I see that when you talk about Doug, your focus is on Brian. That's really unbelievable.

The hypocrites here would never tolerate Jackie treating anyone the way Brian treated his fellow cast members in the first two seasons. I seriously doubt these lonely PTA bitties even watched the first two seasons. Renessa and Gregg were hired 'actors' with training experience. They didn't leave skysport because they were never really part of it. Since you're so obsessed with going to the website, I guess you know that Jackie has a VERY qualified staff of trainers. The most successful ones are not featured on the show. There are many reasons for that. 1. Bravo isn't interested in casting a married trainer. 2. Since quite a few of the trainers have celebrity clients, they really can't do a reality show for fear of jeapardizing their confidientality agreaments.

It's true about the posts supposedly from Jamie. They're fake. She still hasn't made a statement. Rich has not made a statement. Someone here said that Brian claims that they're preparing a statement from their attorneys? Are you kidding? For what? This incident happened last fall!!! If they had a legal case or leg to stand on, they would have taken action back then! You can't sue someone for making catty comments. Brian can't sue Jackie for wrongful termination because he was hired by the production company. He would have never qualified as a trainer at SkySport!

Oh, hello all...been lurking. Come on Jackie, are you kidding me that you never said anything-why the voiceover? Editing can only get you so far....

Wow. I watched this show from the beginning, cancer survivor myself (thyroid cancer...it's out and I'm still dealing with balancing meds...oh joy!) hoping to get some ideas on how to get the goodyear tire off my waist. No real luck there, but man....these people are such trainwrecks.

Also, as someone who has rehabbed an ankle...Anyone ever go to physical therapy?? Running down the beach does NOT help it heal. Yes, it does hurt, it hurts a WHOLE Heck of a lot. It's not a good idea to overwork it while it's healing, because it never will heal if you overwork it. Any responsible trainer knows that...what did Brian do when he ran that boot camp with Dennie working on the mat and everyone else doing other stuff....hmmmmmmmm.....

And all of you are missing the fact that the balancing point for reason on the show passed away last season. Doug wouldn't have stood for that crap. It's good Brian's out of there. He's at another gym, doing well from what I have read on his myspace site. Doug would have talked to her and pointed out the error of her ways.

Sad, isn't it. I can't believe how tacky this show became.
