ty!
It would be interesting to know if they have lost any actual clients.
I have been following you all since the beginning! I bet there alot more people out there that are keeping track of this and just aren't posting. Also I am no means an anti-gay bigot (just a simple SAHM with a busy life) and I do teach my kids to use Ms. and Mr. before the first name of a teacher or adult. Its a sign of respect. I would never let my children address an adult by their first name only! I found the anti-gay bigot theory rather amusing! Note to Jackie: It is your clients and viewers that have made you what you are today. I don't think without their help you would be where you are. Don't you think we are important enough for an honest reply? (and if you do reply please use your real name)My name says it all, I'm waiting!
Anyway , I found some interesting comments from past clients of Sky Sport. Not surprised by some of the things they have to say. Enjoy!

04/29/2008 I think the owner of this gym only cares about her television show and not about the paying clients who patronize her business.
I worked out here for several months last year with a trainer that I liked pretty well. While the location is a pain (parking is very expensive, you'll want to park on a side street and walk a couple blocks) and the gym is tiny, I felt that my trainer was giving me a really good workout and I was seeing results. However, I got a message from my trainer one night that she had been suddenly fired. Wanting to keep up my workouts, I called Sky Sport and explained that I was a client of the gym who had been assigned to a personal trainer that was recently fired. I wanted to continue working out at that gym, since I live nearby-- could they possibly let me know if another trainer could take me on? I was promised a return phone call. Never got one. I left FOUR phone messages over the span of a month and no one ever had the decency to return my phone call. People, this place is not cheap. For them to treat paying customers this way is ridiculous. And then of course they billed me for sessions that I had not attended (seeing as I had no trainer!) and I had to call back and fight with them over the bill. Ridiculous.
Sky Sport needs to pay a little more attention to how they treat their customers--- the ones you don't see on TV. Until they do, they're just a third rate gym.

05/11/2008 I have a few pounds to lose and I feel a bit awkward about it. I was considering coming to Sky Sport to get the motivation and the support I need. I had actually left a message to schedule some training. I had the opportunity to see the last couple of episodes of Workout and I have to say that while I do plan to engage a trainer, I could not consider Sky Sport. To feel that the owner of the gym would belittle a person's body or breasts is the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen. The way that Jackie Warner belittles the people who are most in need of support and motivation is nauseating. To know that your trainer has no respect from the owner and that a client would be fired for receiving mistreatment is monstrous. Jackie Warner may have been an excellent trainer and business owner at one time, but it is clear that time has long since past. I could not in good conscience recommend her service to anyone.
“Yes, this is the same gym featured on the Bravo series WORK OUT. It is, indeed, the real deal but, after working out here for a number of months, I’ve moved to the Gym on Nemo. Why? While the views from this penthouse gym can’t be beat, for the prices owner Jackie Warner charges, the space is rather small and there is not a great deal of variety to the equipment. I’ve traded inspiring views for a bigger gym that is, in my opinion, even better run than Sky Sport.” - From complaints.com
Horrible experience with SKY SPORT & SPA
I was referred to Sky Sport & Spa after having spine surgery resulting from a violent crime. The people mentioned above were extremely rude and made it clear they cared ZERO about clients. I first called on a Monday. These people are so lazy they refuse to take any information over the phone and insist you fax them sensitive information via FAX against all HIPAA privacy and security laws.
So I was forced to fax in my information.
Connie "the manager", promised she would get back to me by Thursday. Friday came and I had not heard back so I contacted SKY SPORT & SPA. They told me they never received my fax. Nice of them to let me know eh? I knew they had lost my information so I suggested they take my information over the phone this time.
Connie continued to raise her voice at me and repeatedly interrupted me, it was very disturbing especially after being the victim of a violent crime. She put Chris on the phone to take my information but when I attempted to give it to him he had such an attitude it was impossible, so impossible, that I finally had to ask for the abrasive Connie again!
I asked for a callback from the owner and was told the owner is apparently too uninvolved to bother with potential client referrals.
Apparently this place has some tv show coming up so maybe thats why they have such a poor attitude. My recommendation is if the owner is too stuck up to monitor her staff and allows them to be so terribly rude then any new clients they receive through tv fame will not last very long.

I don't watch the show religiously. I catch pieces of repeats here and
there. So I'm lost about the drama being discussed. I just came in to
comment on the horrible "training" the Skylabbers are getting! I can't
believe that any of those "trainers" have any training/education in the
field - not even Jackie.
Every time I see the Skylab clients training, I see them being made to
do things that are quite potentially damaging for very large, out of
shape people. They make these people do so many high-impact exercises
that are exponentially more damaging on the joints of very heavy people.
Jumping Jacks for women that size? Obviously, none of those idiots have thought about what it might feel like to have a pair of ten pound
(apiece) boobs jumping and tugging on one's chest! Imagine some poor guy
trying to do jumping Jacks with balls that weighed eight pounds apiece!
Then there are things like the lunges, so potentially harmful to the
knee and hip joints that are already overly stressed on very heavy
people. Or the floor exercises, when getting down and up from the floor
could actually hurt someone. I keep thinking, way aren't these people
doing stretches, weight training (to build muscle and increase
metabolism), low impact aerobics, water aerobics, etc. Even if there's
no built in pool up there, there's no reason why they couldn't install
an "above groud" pool that could be used for water exercises.
Those poor people are just being torn up by the unqualified "trainers"
working them as if they're conditioned fitness faithfuls.
