I've totally been playing today but I'd like to add Omarosa to my fantasy Work Out cast.

Also, one more thing before I go... I'm wondering if they're waiting to deal with this at the Awards thing? Maybe?
KariAna
Absolutely. A good lawyer is going to want to know how many times

she made rude remarks about Brian Peeler as well as others.

I am also still curious who the female who was abruptly fired was.

I have a feeling it was Rebecca. As far as that post of mine about

Jackie and Provocation to make Brian Peeler quit it surprised me to

suddenly notice that I liked Jackie so much it took this long since the

third episode for me to get to the place where I was able to actually

believe that perhaps this was not just as it appeared but an act of

provocation to give Jackie Warner what she needed to fire Brian Peeler.

I absolutely believe that now. All it took was for me to voice it through

suggesting it here when all the WHY thoughts became silenced for me.

No more questions. Once the idea of provocation raised it's ugly head

everything else made a lot more sense. If Jackie ever admits that she

was wrong then all her hard work to create the circumstances will be

lost.

A smart lawyer would wait until all of this season's episodes were aired to see if anything else was pending.

I just found something, well a friend of mine did, but it was at my house.

We have all been wondering what day this happened. This picture dated Jan. 29, 2008. It is Peeler and Jamie, pre change this shirt Peeler.

Has anyone seen any Soyjoy ads on the web page today? I sent them another email on Saturday expressing my concern that their ads were still appearing on the WorkOut page. They just sent me an email stating that after viewing the episode that aired on May 6, they have informed Bravo that they no longer wish to be associated with Workout and pulled all ads.

Makes you wonder about what we know, have watched or have heard????

Looks like Production Crew...

Brian has a little something going on in his mid-section....

Not "over share" ... good reading. Let's hope the next generation is spared the fear of falling into that Well of Loneliness.

Thanks!

But after reading my post, I'd like to expand on it (I don't want anyone to think my life has been ALL "tragic") .

I came out at 16, after my dad died (don't stop reading.... I promise this has a Happy Ending).
After coming out, I met other gay teenagers in my hometown (in Southern Massachusetts), we would take the train into Boston and go to Glad Day book store (an LGBT bookstore) to buy "Gay" comics, novels and most importantly self-help books. I joined BAGLY (Boston Alliance Gay & Lesbian Youth), my friends and I would take the ferry to P-Town etc. So the majority of my youth was very Gay (as in happy AND homo) .
I found a community that was supportive and embracing and loving. I have surrounded myself with a "family" of friends and loved ones ever since. I have been "out" for 24 of my 40 years. But as everyone knows it is a continuous process. BTW I was so "proud" to see the younger generation at yesterday's Pride celebration in Long Beach. We have come so far! When I was teen my friends & I really stood out at Boston Pride in 1985! I know a lot of this acceptance (from the younger generation) is at least partially due to the media and the "out" members of LGBT community and because of that now almost everyone in America "knows" someone who is gay!
And for me that has been the biggest reward of coming out, finding a "home" but also hearing someone say that prior to meeting me.... they had a different perception of what "gay" was all about. But I have to give the credit to those who spoke out against what they felt was wrong, I appreciate the struggle of all who've come before me and have fought for the rights that I enjoy today.
So see, a scared teenage boy grew up and became an Out, Loud & Proud member of society. All because of a "TV show" HA HA!
Well, that was the initial impetus for me to educate myself, but it was also due to the people in my life who were willing to hear a different opinion than their own. Hopefully, by expressing a different opinion you might help to change a point of view.

Because ultimately that is what art does, it shows you the world from another person's perspective.

Thanks again!

You state that no one involved has asked for an apology. Yet Rich accepted Lisa's apology, but declined her apology from Jackie because he wanted one directly from her(Jackie). I don't think one should have to demand an apology, the person who was at fault should feel bad about what they said or did and give a heart felt apology. Not just for the person they faulted, but for their own peace. I think if Jackie had given Rich and Jamie a heart felt apology most of this could have been avoided.

Complete lies. Rich Luzzi (Jaime's boyfriend) confronted both Lisa and Jackie. If he didn't get what he wanted from them he would have stayed. Instead he left and told Jaime after leaving SkySport. The situation was settled in Jackie's office.

No an apology from Jackie wouldn't have been enough for the ANTI-GAY BIGOTS. After they found out Jaime Eason got breast implants for cosmetic reasons instead of medical reasons they persisted. The anti-gay bigots got their "chance" to try to dominate and control Jackie and they are not letting go.

Jackie on the other hand, continually represents herself & her behavior as altruistic. But in her actions, she has behaved as the absolute worst type of boss, friend, lover and business person I've ever seen represented (on TV or in real life). To me she seems like the biggest hypocrite.

Also, Work Out is supposed to be an accurate portrayal of this woman's life.

Brian Peeler in every season would confront Jackie in an effort to undermine her and then claim innocence just like in this situation. In his confessional he says "I have to deal with this pent up frustration and anger that I had with this woman... it built up over time." His confrontation (that's what it was, it was not a "polite" talk) with Jackie was more about him than Jaime Eason's breast implants. You still support him though (because you are self-hating).

Work Out is an entertainment show NOT a documentary.

Add to it the straight man arguing with a lesbian and it complicates the matter even further. Jackie should have just kept quiet. She should have said, "okay, I'll play you're little game but I'm not going to give you what you want." (Which was a continuous battle with Brian.)

As for knowing Jamie, I think that's a bit unfair for Brian to say.

Why should Jackie the owner of SkySport play along with Brian's games? Because he's straight? We finally got at the heart of why people still two weeks later have not let go. They can't handle a lesbian in a position of power over straight people. Last season when Brian Peeler almost got fired people went nuts. The reaction to Brian Peeler's firing was expected.

Jaime Eason started training in 2005. Jackie has been busy with her business, the show, products, and appearances so it is understandable that she would not know who Jaime Eason is.

Get off your high horse. This has nothing to do with Jackie being a lesbian. It has everything to do with her being unprofessional, yet criticizing others for being unprofessional in her eyes (i.e. she's a hypocrite), and for her being completely dishonest about A) asking Peeler to politely leave her office and cool.gif actually making comments about Jamie Eason.

And if you don't think that Peeler approached Jackie in a calm and professional manner, not a tense confrontation, then perhaps your anti-gay paranoia is blinding you from the reality of the situation. She was the one who escalated the situation, not Peeler. And it has nothing to do with her being gay. So drop that argument.

Oooof ... your fantasy cast is giving me hives! Not all of them mind, just the last. Let's see, you had Martina on there. What a great pick. Such a big proponent of cross training, sometimes to the chagrin of her own trainers, who doubtless saw twisted ankles on the basketball court just before Wimbledon. I also like the fusion of Top Chef and Work Out ... the Cirque Du Soleil challenge pops to mind.

Here's another topic that has been festering in the back of my mind. It was more disturbing, yet eerily similar, to the magician who told all the tricks. When the new trainer talked about dehydrating and then carb-starving to get his skin to latch onto the muscles for definition, made me a little sick. I want my body parts to naturally stay where they belong!

Just checking out what's going on and I'm ashamed that Brian is continuing this. Also took at look at the AskaLesbian blog and was impressed with this post. I reformatted it to make it look a little prettier for you. You can go there and look for yourselves. http://askalesbian.blogspot.com/2008/05/an...ie-warners.html

Maybe Brian would like to address the lies being spread over there about the scene with Jamie. Some "person" is claiming they witnessed the whole thing and although you have no idea who I am, I can confirm that this "witness" is incorrect.

Here's the post. I'd like to hear your valid and adult responses to this- Peeler- if you are honestly reading this, you need to let it go. seriously.

Brian Peeler is not continuing anything, we are not continuing anything. We have accomplished what we wanted, sponsors have been dropped and advertisers have pulled out just what we wanted. Anything we discuss here is for pure fun and anything relating to Jackie's credentials have nothing to do with the episode that got people so fired up that they were coming here in the middle of the night to sign up and complain that has to do with opinions of the people who dislike Jackie Warner (me included). I haven't spoken about nor do I care to speak about her credentials. To be honest with you, all she would have to do is show what she does to get her body and that would be good enough as a trainer for me. However, I think she is a liar and she is the one who should be ashamed for not apologizing for her remarks that she made about Jamie Eason behind her back regarding her breasts, especially since she is a cancer survivor. Jackie refuses to acknowledge that she's even said anything however, she may want to talk to Lisa because she states differently. I just think that Workout should be cancelled and be gone with, Jackie does not need anymore bad press. She has her clients she'll be fine. She is on a path of destruction as it is with her personal life and she should focus on that rather than a tv show. I find it rather strange that these trainers from SkySport are posting all over the boards under false names (it has to be because they know FAR too much NOT to be involved, you included) putting Peeler down and accusing us of carrying this too far. We're done with that, it's over with, we've accomplished our goal and we're happy about it. If Bravo decides to do another season of Workout, then I won't watch it nor will I watch their network, but that is a personal choice.

I'm just a little confused at your post btw. Why should Peeler address anyone's post, that's not his job, it's Jackie who should be responding. She needs to apologize if she wants to rebuild a fan base for a tv show, otherwise she needs to stop sending people here to defend her. I say that because you people know far too much to be the average viewer. Putting Peeler and Doug's relationship down is lower than low, almost as low as stating Jamie Eason's breasts were not due to her cancer. Just one more reason to keep me disliking Jackie and her circle of egostical friends.

I can only comment about what I have seen on the show Work Out. I've watched Brian Peeler often describe himself as having a bad temper and a very short fuse. I remember him stating on several occasions (through-out the series) that he was working on those issues. So when he would "blow up", it wasn't "out-of-character" (see my earlier posts regarding "reality TV Villains").
If only everyone on this show took responsibility for their behavior and didn't try to portray themselves as altruistic. I wouldn't be commenting on their behavior and/or opinions as being hypocritical.

Also, pointing out another person's flaws in an attempt to defend myself, hardly excuses my own personal bad behavior.
In fact, I was taught it only makes me look worse!

I'm just a little confused at your post btw. Why should Peeler address anyone's post, that's not his job, it's Jackie who should be responding. I know why should Peeler address anything, he's straight and you aren't trying to control and dominate him. Jackie is a lesbian in a "masculine" profession so you must teach her a lesson about the social "order." She has no right whether she owns SkySport or not to tell a straight male to leave her office. *roll eyes* Putting Peeler and Doug's relationship down is lower than low, almost as low as stating Jamie Eason's breasts were not due to her cancer. You are saying that Jaime Eason a breast cancer survivor is lower than low because she is the one that said she had breast implants for cosmetic reasons. Just to clarify... I have taken heat for it but I am by no means a Peeler fan. I believe that he was cast on the show to cause trouble with Jackie and something SOMETHING must have gone on in his interview process that let producers know that he would follow through. He's not a trainer with years of experience and he's not the most perfectly fit, handsome trainer but he was cast for a reason. I think it was a very sick reason and I just wish Jackie would not have walked into the trap. I do believe that the producers get off on having a souther straight boy argue with a California lesbian. I think it's wrong. I just wish Jackie would have side-stepped the whole thing.

Maybe I didn't say it well enough but I said that it was unfair for Brian to say that Jackie should know who Jamie Eason is. It's just not an accurate statement. Jamie is involved in a sport that most people are unfamiliar with... even people who go to gym and work in a gym everyday... Jamie's industry is very much a niche industry. I suspect Brian knows that Jamie Eason isn't widely known outside of her sport, he was being.... well I guess he was being Brian.

I think if we removed Brian from the whole equation, we could easily eliminate the question of bigotry but I do understand that when people defend him and promote this as being about him, it does start looking a little sketchy.

I'm sorry guys. I know many of you disagree with me on the subject of Brian Peeler but I think he muddys the water. It reminds me of the whole Roger Clemson thing. The more he talked, the more he looked like an ass. And Brian did say some very derogatory things about Jackie relating to her sexuality. I just don't want to talk about him in general....

TrueReality, Jackie's never been my favorite person on the show. As I said before, I just don't totally get her. But that didn't stop me from watching. I think Brian needs to just go do his own thing and start talking about that instead of focusing on this, I think Jackie should make some sort of gesture basically because the show was set up that way with the blogs, etc, but mostly, I think the producers need to stop assuming we're idiots! And if they want to make Work Out a show about hot babes, sex and scandal (Temptation Island goes to Sky Sport) with a wider appeal to the straight population, then okay. I won't be interested but maybe Logo can take a look at my fantasy cast and get a move on!

BTW I was so "proud" to see the younger generation at yesterday's Pride celebration here in Long Beach.

Liam!! I am from Massachusetts too smile.gif I love P-Town and take my kids there, they love it too. I adore your story it's really sweet. I have one too. My daughter's best friends that she met in middle school were 3 boys and 2 girls, their "group" as they call themselves grew up together since they were 10, they ran track together, played sports, hung out here and at each other's houses with sleepovers every weekend (with the boys lol) went on vacations together, Prom, Senior Dinner Dance, Graduation and other functions together. Well in high school 2 of them FINALLY came out and it was so hard on one of them to the point that he wanted to commit suicide! He told his mom and his mom (as he put it) "shoved him right back in the closet" so he came to me and my husband and we'd sit and talk with him for hours about it and the struggles of being a gay teen. He finally worked things out at home and his parents accept him thank God and love and support him. The last one came out to me before his own parents! These guys are the sweetest most kind adorable kids in the world, they all call me aunti and I'm so proud of them. They're all in college right now and they're having the time of their lives. The acceptance they received from their peers and parents really made a huge difference in their lives, you're right those who's struggles that paved the way for the gay community should be commended. The guys are a part of my family and come to visit us when they're home from college every break. These are kids we watched grow up and would never turn our backs on them because they were gay, so for these nasty witches to come here and call us bigots is just as low as low can get and it gets me so mad. I've never claimed to be a lesbian (as one of the nasties stated) nor am I here due to Jackie being a lesbian (I actually admired her before this season and couldn't wait to see the show, I was disappointed to see her massive ego this year it ruined the entire show for me) I am here because I'm upset over something Warner did and that was making fun of a client's body parts while she was working out in her gym behind her back and refusing to apologize for it. I've accomplished my goal and that is that sponsors have bagged out and advertisements have been pulled and I am still hoping they cancel the show just because I don't believe she deserves one, plain and simple. I have no hate in my heart for her, I think she needs help and needs to woman up and face the music.

I'm sorry about your dad, I'm sure he'd be very proud of you today you seem like a cool guy.

Ms Truereality...is there any possibility that you could bring something new to the table? Your insistance on posting the same thing over and over again really undermines your credibility.

KisaB,
I wouldn't say I was a fan of Jackie Warner's per se (her personal behavior on the show was always a little questionable for me from season 1) but I was definitely a fan of Work Out. The shift in tone seemed radically different and the show itself is not the same for me as in previous seasons (and that did disappoint me as a loyal viewer). Jackie Warner's portrayal this season so far, is really what I am protesting. I don't know her. I don't know most people I see on TV. But I feel I have the right (and obligation) as a viewer to express my opinion.

But I'm a "big boy" and I realize my opinions are just that my own personal tastes or point of view. The creators of entertainment (in any or all it's forms) do not need to appease my personal sensibilities, in fact I love to be surprised and have my consciousness expanded. I feel when you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing no one.

I also love to hear opposing opinions and try my best to listen to (and learn from) other people's personal experiences. I especially value hearing a completely different point of view from my own.
I know that I personally learn far more from criticism than I ever do from praise (praise tends to be general "you did good..." where criticism is usually more specific "this is what you did wrong...").

And I fully support everyone who is identifying themselves as gay on TV or in the media. Good or bad, just being on TV (or movies or music etc.) is a huge step for the LGBT community. For me personally, it's about visibility.

While I was growing up (I was born in 1968) there were very few portrayals of gay men on TV (and then usually only a very narrow "perspective" of an extremely diverse group of people from diametrically opposed walks of life).

I struggled with my sexuality as a teen, I tried to be "straight". I thought my choices were "happy heterosexual existence" or "hated, shame-filled, lonely life of a homosexual". I thought if I can't cure myself of this and be normal, I would rather be dead than to have anyone know I was a "homo"!

Do you want to know what changed my mind (and probably saved a stupid kid from doing the unthinkable)?

A TV show!

An episode of "The Phil Donahue Show" about gay teens. It probably sounds trite but it's the truth.
For the first time in my life I saw my experiences represented on TV.
This was a complete revelation to me and I have endeavored from that moment on to educate myself not only about the gay community but also about every marginalized section of our society (even those whose views sometimes threaten my existence in America and the rest of the world).

I know this is wordy (wow, I didn't think this response would be this long, and encompass so much). But this issue and the responses on this board have affected me emotionally way more than I ever thought it would.

Thanks in advance for listening to my diatribe and allowing me the opportunity to "Over Share" for a moment.

Not a diatribe, and definitely not over sharing - really a very appropriate and touching story to share! I am so glad you saw that Phil Donahue show when you did! And I do hope (and think) it is very different for teens now than it was when you were going through what you were going through (and hopefully will be even easier for the next generation of teens)!

That is what is so insidious about when people try to say that this is an "anti gay" thing and the peole involved are "anti gay". It is not and we are not!

I have a love hate relationship with breasts myself. Mine started growing when I was in the 6th grade, and they have never seemed to stop.

Still not a good time to talk about breasts. Right before I started bottle feeding the triplets tonight, I found out one of my favorite nannies might be getting mastitis.

When I first started posting on this site, I knew that my some of my posts would be offensive to certain individuals. I also knew that I risked being ridiculed and called a liar.

That is OK. I knew all of that coming in to this arena.
I would never have posted on a message board, if I were overly concerned by what other people thought of me and my opinions.

And by the same token, if I choose to go on a reality TV show and portray myself, I will expect similar criticism and both negative and positive reactions and would not be offended. If I am portrayed negatively on this show (that I choose to go on to sell my products and/or further my career), it would be my responsibility to openly defend myself in the media.

No one is an "innocent victim" here. And we are all entitled to our opinions.

The funny thing is my rehab nurse showed up tonight to help with the feeding, and I have a few farm hands. Then there is my Mom. It is covered. During the spring when the nannies start dropping kids, we need all the help we can get.
(I now have my rehab nurse addicted to this story. She is taking what happened to Deenie personally. She thinks she is an idiot not to go a real therapist, but still didn't deserve to be abused by people told her they knew what they were doing.)

I think this is something you have to believe because otherwise you will

have to admit that you believe it is okay to bully others as well as not

accept responsibility for your own actions just as Jackie is like. She

is rude and disrespectful to her employees. She states clearly that

she is percieving members of the show as disrespectful to her. Each

time she has made these statements if happens just after she has done

something condescending and mean to an employee. How are the

employees being disrespectful to her simply because they are surprised

and HURT by Jackie Warner's own behavior? No one has ever explained

why it is always okay for Jackie to do whatever she desires but the

reactions of those she does these things to are not supposed to be

hurt nor complain. All of these things have nothing to do with Jackie

being a lesbian other than most of her victims are females. Just insisting

we targeting Jackie because she is a lesbian doesn't answer the

questions about Jackie's rude behavior. It also doesn't show how you

came to the conclusion that this is why. I have a real problem with

people who express something is true without giving examples. Look

at so many of my posts when I have described what Jackie did, why it

was not something I thought was acceptable, as well as who she hurt.

None of those things equates with someone who just doesn't like that

Jackie is a lesbian. You also cannot refute that part of my anger was

that I saw how much Rebecca had fallen for Jackie and how hurt

Rebecca has been by Jackie's behavior. If the problem was about

Jackie being a lesbian I wouldn't be thinking how upset I was to see

that they had broken up. During last years reunion when Jackie told

everyone that she had a girlfriend and that the girlfriend was a lesbian

I figured that Rebecca had just decided she was probably lesbian and

she and Jackie were together. That belief was made to be true from

a E Entertainment red carpet thing where Jackie and Rebecca were

together and from their behavior they looked to be together. This is

one reason I was stunned to find Jackie was not with Rebecca on the

first episode. Also, I believed my disappointment was why I was angry

about how Jackie was treating Rebecca through the first two episodes.

I told myself that it might turn out good. The end of the second

episode when Rebecca and Renessa were talking about men I realized

that I was not only wrong about how Jackie felt about Rebecca that

clearly Rebecca was wrong with how she felt the relationship had gone

and that she was extremely sad about the entire thing. Once I saw how

Jackie treated Brian Peeler and his client that was the absolute last

straw. None of this had anything to do with sexuality. It has to do

one hundred percent with bad behavior on Jackie Warner. Your beliefs

that it is something else is 100 percent ludricrous. The only thing

Jackie can say or her friends can say is that this is about sexuality.

The thing is, a time will come when the GAY community will refute this

by their own outrage. I have a feeling since this next episode is number

five that things are going to get worse for Jackie because once someone

begins to spread their arrogance wings, they can't stop. This is one

of those things a bully can depend on. Not being able to walk back

across a line they have already crossed. Jackie is in for it and it isn't

about who she sleeps with. It is all about who she is going to hurt next.

I have a feeling from what people have said that others are going to

be fired. When this happens it is not going to be pretty.

Thanks for all of the love guys, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Now I have a new "exercise" for y'all. Take your left hand and put it on you right
tricep and then take your right hand and put it on your left tricep.
Now squeeze and hold for at least 2 minutes..... I call it "Me-giving-you-all-a-big-hug". And repeat, often. HA HA!

Come on now, even the haters... you need hugs most of all.
