SSHHH ..... did you hear that?

Oh, just the wind. Good, for a minute there
I thought I heard someone outside, creeping around in my bushes!
Now I'm afraid I will have to sleep with my curtains drawn sad.gif

No, I am sure the wind you heard was due to the space between your ears. The creeping in your bushes are probably your neighbors making fun of you. close your curtains, they will go away.

I am so so sorry to break this to you all. Well, I have had enough of this board for awhile. I am going to let you use me as a bonding experience. So, please, say things like "thank god she is gone" or, "wow, its so much better here" because it will bring you freaks (that don't know one another AT ALL. ). Enjoy!
Opposers, keep up the good fight. Don't let em bully you..THEY will try.

Another Jackie Warner moment:
I'm re-watching the episode. I want to say "I cannot believe" that Ms. Warner confronted the trainers at the retreat about Greg Plit and the other trainers drinking.
"Where is Greg Plit?" "...
"Well I'm glad to know that's where the priority is."

Another fine management technique, demean the trainers Ms. Warner tells her SL Clients will act as "mentors" to them to lead them through this "life changing experience"
I WANT to say I cannot believe it, but of course, I do. It is the kind of behaviour I've learned to expect from Ms. Warner

She later says "I don't think Greg Plitt cares, I don't think he cares about his clients.." Honestly, I think he does care about his clients, I think it's Jackie he takes lightly.
Anyway, another instance of an episode of Work Out where yet another trainer apologizes to Ms. Warner......

JD & Shannon and her girls:
There was an amazingly touching scene when JD when to see Shannon's daughters, one of whom has Cerebral Palsy.
They were shown at Equinne therapy for Shannon's daughter.
At one point the daughter walked from Shannon to JD.
Major Kudos to JD for taking the time to learn more about his client.
It was profoundly touching.

Aww, come on. Are you a board troll too, or just the opposers?

No you are the troll. You come here to attack people instead of discussing the show. Like the other trolls that have gone overboard trying to demonize the audience by calling them homophobes, trying to demonize Peeler by disrespecting the deceased to belittle him, and trying to demonize the posters because you cant discuss anything without making insults. All while crying Jackie is getting a raw deal being demonized when she did it all herself without editing.

You cant even use your brain and figure out Bravo is a borderline gay network with a gay friendly audience for years. That if people were really out to get gays they would have stared with queer eye for the straight guy or any other gay programing they aired, and aired way more then work out. You lack the intelligence to put two and two together and see how the people, both gay and straight, who looked up to and supported Jackie and the large straight female fanbase who loved her suddenly got disgusted over night after the infamous episode aired. And everyones reasons for not supporting this show anymore are drawn from that episode and Jackies actions.

There's that WE again, lonely soul. Have you tried Match.com? You might ask for a "desperate discount" for seniors. Nope, can't cut off this Hydra's head, only grows back to tell you how very sad you are. Tsk tsk.

If someone wants to become part of the WE club, does anyone know how much the dues are? And what does one receive for joining? I personally could use some cutlery or maybe a new coffee machine that makes Latte's. If peglam really wants to be a part of the WE club, I'll spring for her initiation dues. I think she really does because that is all she talked about yesterday. I get the feeling she is just needing someone to love and comfort her and that her angry diarrhea of words were just her way a crying out for love. LOL

My daughter has worked with the Equine Therapy Program for quite a few years. It is probably one of the most rewarding programs you can volunteer to be a part of. (I know dangling participle) The expression of accomplishment on the children's faces makes the hours spent working towards a goal worth it. She spent many years riding and being able to share that sport with someone made her very happy.

My daughter teaches at the university level now and she fully expects someday to see one of her equine therapy students walk into one of her classes. She feels that will be the epitomy of making a difference.

(So no one misunderstands that last statement, most of these equine students are usually not expected to get as far as the 5th or 6th grade, some are expected to not make it thru high school, each case is different.)

Here's my take on the show:

I think Jackie, regardless of what people think of her, has an amazing amount of drive. I train in the morning but if you attempt to talk to me, I will most likely breathe fire in your face and then bite your head off. So I'm impressed with her get up and go attitude. Git er done! ohwait.. that’s Peeler.

Greg P. pretty boy but I think he's just there (like I'm sure most of them are) for the television exposure. I would have gone to his room and kicked his waxed butt out of bed. I hate getting up too but if I hire you to do so, then you must.

The Deenie edit was pretty damn funny. A 28 year old with pig tails talking like my 4 year old about what she'd get if she went to McDonalds….not a good edit for the Deenster.....

Renessa, another pretty person. I think it’s funny that the last time I was here, I said the one thing I didn't like about this season was the dumbed down format ala Temptation Island and lookee loo la at what they gave us! Temptation Island! Renessa's attempt to justify her behavior with the fact that she is an 'adult' was ummm...lame..... She has a 12 year old daughter. Maybe I'm lame, but I think public drunkenness and make out time really should end with motherhood. Well, at least if there are several cameras filming it! I liked her in the beginning but yeesh, that Britney impression was sad. And Renessa wants to be an actress ... back to the acting coach she goes! Greg's K-Fed impression was pretty funny.

JD has an amazing energy. It just emanates from him. It's more than whatever role he's supposed to be playing. He has a very genuine soul. I know it sounds corny but he gives me goose bumps and not in a pervie way. Yes, he's very attractive but there is a very pure sense of good there. (Watch next week in Star, 'Work Out’s JD eats puppies for breakfast!) laugh.gif Anywho, the scenes with Shannon and her daughters really hit home with me. That was just so important and so beautiful.

Brianna.....snore....... cute.......snore........

Jackie looked amazing at the fundraising event. Peeler. Oy. Still think he might just be the biggest tool in the box.... Okay, I had some empathy... for about 1.2 seconds! When your wife kicks you out of the house after just 3 months of marriage, maybe you have some errr issues that need addressing. I guess for me the verdict concerning whether Peeler was a genuine person or wholly full of shite was answered with the crowd's silence. Those were Doug’s' friends! They were there to honor Doug (aka BFF of Brian Peeler) so I think their silence toward Peeler spoke volumes. Bye Peeler! Maybe you can start your own PeelerBuilt message board? wink.gif Love the logo, very original. tongue.gif I'm not sure I would have ridicule him so much if not for his great big cry baby pants blogs and posts here. Just weird. And if he's upset that Jackie didn't know who Jamie Eason was then I'm upset that a trainer doesn't know the difference between lOOse and lOse. Just sayin...

Still think my fantasy cast needs to be considered. In case you forgot

Jackie is allowed to remain but must replace her therapist with Dr. Phil who fulfills two roles, Therapist and Brian.
Add, Martina Navratilova for training and motivation tips
RuPaul for water instruction
Richard Simmons for bootcamp
Omarosa as a business advisor
I know that I had others but I'm still considering my cast. Maybe the bootcampers should live in the Surreal house? Jack Osbourne has to be in there somewhere…. he's so handsome now! Oh throw Sharon in as well...

That's my summary. Tryin' to keep it fun and LIGHT, yes, JC rolleyes.gif LIGHT! Heh- it's a show. I stomped my feet a lot too but I'm over it. This should be fun....

Sparty...I thought the trainers having fun at the bar was great. Rebecca doing her Jackie impersonation had me rolling. I was so disappointed Greg P and Erika didn't hook up. You could see it in her eyes the next morning when Renessa came down in GP's sweatshirt. I was kind of shocked Jackie went on and on about Greg in front of the clients. That's really great. I didn't even know about Equine therapy and it's not very removed from what I do... I am just so impressed.

The whole show last night just reinforced everything I love to do. (minus the Renessa, Greg and Brian bits). I'm just going to give Jackie the benefit of the doubt that it's sincere. After all, Shannon is her client and she seems like a very strong woman who even questioned Jackie about Brian. I'm not sure she would have stuck around if she didn't see something good there.

I agree with the pulling him out of bed. Would have been great to see the cameras and lights barge into his room. I thought it was a little strange that Jackie spoke about the incident in front of the bootcampers but at the same time, I can see that she wants everyone to feel that she's being completely up front and open. I mean, it's not like they weren't going to figure it out.

Dues... Hmmm, well you can bring some of your favorite cookies to share (variety is the spice of life!), also bring your sense of humor, be willing to join a search party to look for a lost member or two (farmgirl and shaddow are still missing) oh, and you might be asked to help plan/set up/participate in JC and Liam's wedding.

What do you get for joining? Well... we got lots of cookies and toasters, but we might be talked into upgrading like that Texas group did...Coffee machines sound good, but knives are a little risky so we might want to stay away from those for now. But you definitely get a bunch of cards! And you get to meet lots of really neat people from just about every walk of life who you can have great, silly and even deep conversations with.

Did I leave anything out "guys" (term being used in unisex way)?
spartybrat
My own curiosity also wants to know, did Renessa stay the whole night with Greg P, and if so why didn't she wake him up?

She managed to stumble down to the training session........... I also firmly believe that she was probably still feeling no pain when she got there.

I noticed the look on Erica's face also, poor thing. She seems to be a sweet girl that deserves to find some one to have some happy time with... blush.gif

Dear Spartbra91,
Oddly I had that same thought, but then I am older than most of the trainers (actually ALL of them) so I wondered if part of their youthful exuberance. However, I have known one very serious bodybuilder and he was a heavy drinker as well. So I think there's something more than the "work hard/play hard" mentality. I honestly think it's partly biochemical.
I find myself on odd ground here actually agreeing with Ms. Warner that they should have been disciplined during the retreat (especially since some of them have difficulty stopping at one or two cocktails).

KisaB, I don't expect anyone to agree with anything I've said. I'm just expressing an opinion.
But I do actually really like a good debate. If you care to discuss the show, just let me know.

But I didn't refer to Pee as a troll because of it's opinions, I was referring, once again to it's behavior.

Oh, I wish you could hear my tone. I'm really not being heavy handed about it. It was more of a OH STOOOP, like OH ROOOOB from Mary Tyler Moore. wink.gif

You are absolutely correct. It is supposed to be Postal Person.

Hmmmmm that might not work either as it sounds like a person

going Postal as in shooting everyone in the office. Hmm what to do?

NiCi...I am the one from Texas and if JC and Liam are willing, I'll be officiating the wedding. Now, I'm not really one for cookies but I could sure use a good steak now and then. I first posted on here a few days ago and got the crap scared out of me by Dacia (sp?), truereality, peglam. I like humor and can go pretty deep if I need to. I think some of you could have used a steak for the black eyes ya'll were gettin' from the "opposers". By the way, what exactly are they opposing? Sometimes they say so many words and say absolutely nothing. My Na-Na would say that people like that usually are dumber than a sack of hair. I'll keep my eyes out for that farmgirl...sounds like she is my kind of people. Thanks for including me in the WE. Now my sad, lonely life has meaning and I can now feel like I am a part of something much bigger than myself.

#2429 peglam calls Blahvo a troll

#2452 Blahvo says to peglam I'm not a troll you are...

#2455 Liaminlb answers Blahvo "I'm pretty sure it's huddled under a bridge with it's laptop right now.... furious searching all of the past posts and salivating over all this talk of goats!"

So the person that I made the reference to- peglam started by throwing out the T word. Blahvo picked up the gauntlet and my comment above was agreeing with Blahvo regarding peglam

Are you upset by my treatment of peglam?

After last nights episode nothing changed my mind any. It was never specifically about Peeler.

Jackie Warner is still a horrible person.

Horrible to have an atmosphere of staff making fun of clients behind their backs. At a gym where people are vulnerable no less.

Horrible because if they had not been caught they wouldnt have been sorry any.

Horrible to pretend she had no idea who Jamie was when she's been known in fittness. Had to sign a release. And only uses that as an excuse to say she didnt know she was a cancer survivor.

Horrible to know cameras are rolling and still have the nerve to act like that as if it could be edited out if not for the escalated situation.

Horrible in handling a situation unprofesionally and used it as an excuse to fire someone she never liked. Had Peeler been training Gregs client, Jackie would have been on the client's side and fired Peeler over that.

And all the board trolls are equally horrible. Whether they are Jackie, some of the trainers or viewers that may somehow deluded themselves into thinking these people they see on their tvs are "their friends" enough to make sickening statements in their defense. Nama speaking for a dead person, to say Doug's friendship with Peeler wasnt real. Horrible. Dacia and the others for their equally insulting and condecending posts like they are getting anywhere. Horrible. Creating multiple accounts to post and support themselves and attack others when you can see the times they post dont leave much time to read their entire lengthy tirades and compose their replies unless they had it all sorted out ahead of time and clicked submit in different browsers. Horrible. Pretending this is an anti gay issue when workout and bravo always had a huge gay following and gay audience and there are plenty of gay websites and blogs full of equally disgusted gay people not too happy with Jackie Warner. But keep it up. It only reinforces why Jackie, this show and its few supporters are nothing but nasty irate sociopaths who have a hard time understanding wrong from right and only add fire to the obvious problem of bad behaviour that started all this while trying to cry the victim of a "homophobic mob mentality" they contrived in their heads to make themselves feel justified and right.

Good posting.

Swiss...how did your daughter get involved with the program? I have been a pediatric nurse for 20 years and also have a MA in counseling and I work with lots of families of disabled children. I am always moved by the pure joy and abandonment these children get out of riding.

When we first moved to Texas she really did not have many friends and she was lonely. She started to ride at the age of 6 herself. When we ended up in Texas she was 17 and she was still taking lessons and riding. One of her trainers told her of a program that was just starting up at one of the barns close to where her horses were stabled. It was being started with the support of one of the university hospitals in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area and one of the equine associations there. She said herself many times the facial expressions on the students faces made everything worth while. The movement of the horse is so soothing for the students and the rewards are beyond description, there is just something about a horse, horses can work miracles. I think you hit it on the head "pure joy." These programs have now sprung up all over the country. It does not take much to participate as a coach, just a few hours. I will say my daughter started doing it 2 hours a week when she started at the University of Texas, before Christmas break she was coaching at least an hour to two hours a day. The coaches get as hooked as the student do. The coaches if asked would all say to the last coach, there is nothing like that expression of happiness.

Well, I grew up in the panhandle of Texas. All of our trees lean to the south because the wind blows ALL the time. (What few trees we have up there). Now I live in Dallas, home of America's team. Lived in NC for awhile and was claustrophobic with all those trees. Couldn't see anything!! So I moved back home. Now I see where I'm going, where I've been and where I don't want to go. A little piece of heaven right here on earth. rolleyes.gif
