Kisa, sorry to read that you honestly think there maybe some hidden anti-gay agenda going on here. I think that's drinking the Koolaid. Most of the people here who are outraged at Jackie's behavior are gay, it has nothing to do with her sexual preference that's [expletive deleted]. I loved watching Jackie and Workout, I'm not gay, but I loved her show and admired her...the first two seasons. This season she's gotten way out of hand with her ego and her unprofessionalism. Her personal life is her own and it hasn't nothing to do with why people dislike her, that's just conversation going on here. No one is here to carry on friendly conversations regarding workout, they are here because they are outraged at what happened with Jackie & Jamie Eason and her horrible remarks she made about Jamie's breasts especially since Jamie is a breast cancer survivor. Lastly, it doesn't matter squat that Jackie didn't know who Jamie was or if she had cancer, honestly does that matter to you? She made fun of a client's breasts behind her back with her catty assistant within earshot of the client's boyfriend! Does that not register with you or do you do the same thing with your clients? I'm not getting your change of pace here. What I can suggest is to do a google search if you want a fun light conversation about Workout, you will be hard pressed to find one because judging by the blog replies to Warner and Peeler, people dislike Warner and they feel Peeler was wronged even after last nights show (which I did not watch because I'm on boycott). Oh one more thing, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize that Doug's friends were uncomfortable and are going to stick with the woman in power. Jackie has the show, the power and the name behind her and I'm sure she donated some of her many many JW products to the cause not to mention attached her name to it (which was still in good standing at the time) you don't know what goes on behind closed doors with Doug's friends and Peeler. If they want to stick with Jackie on this then they're wrong, Jackie and Doug were NOT close, not even, she just had the name...think about that.
I only said that the possibility of a hidden anti-gay agenda couldn't be totally discounted. I didn't say this aspect included anyone or everyone here but it exists out there and I didn't even consider that part of it. I just wanted to respect those who feel and care deeply about these issues.
You asked if it didn't matter to me if she didn't know who Jamie was or if she had cancer? Well, read my original posts. I thought it was completely immature, unprofessional behavior. I'm still not excusing it.... have just decided to ease up a bit on that side of things.
Do I think trainers should talk about their clients? No. Do I think they should discuss other trainers, staff, etc, No. But they almost always do. A gym is a very gossipy place. Good, bad, right or wrong, it is....
I'm a different kind of trainer. I work under a Director/Coach. Each of us have our area and it's very specific. We don't really have a lot of prima donnas around here because it's the nature of the sports for which we focus but I have friends I went to college with who are now trainers on professional teams (football and basketball) and it's a freaking nightmare sometimes! They deal with and see so much crappy terrible behavior and they do complain about it. There are some really awful guys in professional sports (I know one trainer who works in the WNBA but we're not super close. So no gossip

) A lot of these guys are superstars for kids and I guess when I thought about some of the things I've seen and heard, I just sort of thought....alright, this issue of ego, arrogance and self-entitlement is a huge problem but it's widespread. I'll just keep my complaints about it focused on the biggest offenders (and there are many). That's all really. Maybe I just got tired. I've gotten into some major heated debates on Sports Boards over some athletes and didn't want to do that here. Anyway, I know they are separate issues but they have some overlap..... especially, in my world.
I was here for the same reasons you are, for the same things that happened on the show but then after all the fighting (and I was even attacked for what I don't even know?) And after nothing from Jamie, I just sort of thought, oh well.... not really a huge deal.... at least not when I compare it to my multi-millionaire, professional-athlete, assh*le, list.

These guys are almost always given a free pass because of fans or worse, superfans and the revenue they generate. It's bad. And some of the fans are just nuts. They'll excuse ANY kind of hideous behavior! And there's always a great deal of emotion when someone does something very publicly wrong.....Hey, I was all over the Michael Vick thing and I can't tell you how many times I was called a racist.
It's hard for me to make a clear and exact point here because my point isn't completely clear and exact concerning the show. So by being in the middle, I've become the kid that no one wants on their kickball team!
And Peeler..... sigh....... there's just nothing there for me. My observation (and that's all it is) is that he wouldn't survive a day or an hour in my world. My view is just coming from a different perspective. I just see a guy who talks a lot but doesn't have a whole lot to back it up. His interviews were also bizarre and he's a bit unsteady... When I saw all those people just standing there staring at him, I just thought wow, he must have really annoyed these people... many and most of whom were Doug's friends. Jackie didn't run that thing. Those people were Doug supporters. Jackie was just a very small part of that.... some people were clearly offended. That's all I'm saying based on what I saw.
Would Jackie survive in my world? Yeah, totally. She might butt heads with some other egos but she walks the walk when it comes to hard work and dedication. I'm over simplifying but there's a difference there for sure....
Hey! How come no one has talked about Renessa? I really don't care what she does but she does have a 12 year old daughter and I really wanted to know what other people thought of that!
Since no one wants me on their team, I'll just kick the ball around all alone until I become the master! Muwahahaha
