You can yell at Liam when you have to have stitches on all the claw marks after you try to throw a goat sized feline beast that hates you into a bathtub full of water, and on the way home you can stop at the pet store and get the catnip like your good friend NiCi told you and drug it into oblivion when you get home! happy.gif

Won't work. He'll just look at me like "Bring it on M F'er, you dont scare me but I know I scare you! BOO!!" Then he'll dance on my head. I have to figure out a way to down load the video of him jumping on me and post it on You tube. Ellen would love this cat! Maybe I could send it to her as a wedding gift. Yea, that's the ticket!

Y'all just have the wrong type of kitty. I have a turkish van, better known as a swimming cat. She will sneak in the shower with you. I can be just sitting there taking my shower, and look down and there she is, just standing there in the shower, getting soaked. She has fur that feels like rabbit fur, so it is not easy to get her truly wet.
I have no idea what she would do about someone taking a tub bath. I guess if one of my visitor screams from the bathtub, I will know what happened.

Catnip, kitty pot is different with each cat. I had one cat that mellowed out and liked to cuddle, then I had one that that totally ignored it, and the third would turn into cujo kitty from a really calm laid back cat. So be prepared, you have no idea which you will get.

First of all, I am not a cat person. I am allergic (no, really, I am!). A close friend of mine is a cat fanatic and showed me the whole catnip thing. I could not believe it when I saw it. And she loves her cats more than she would if they were human children (she says they "give so much and 'human children' *with a smells something really nasty look on her face* only take, take, take") so would never do anything to hurt them so I know it is absolutely 100% safe for them.

Anyway catnip looks kinda like grass (as in green, lawn) seed - you sprinkle it on the floor or something and the cat rolls around in it for a long time and licks it up and acts like it is high (no, really, it does!). Then it lays around all mellow like. Thats all I know, you have to ask the pet guy/gal more (although they will probably try to sell you more) if you want more detail than that.

I say drug it and lock it in the spare bathroom with a bowl of water and a bowl of food till its momma comes home. And all "Ooops, how did that door get shut?!!" huh.gif But thats just me.

If you do toss it in the bath, point and laugh if you must but let it dry itself - unless you want that trip to the emergency room we already talked about...

I have been here since day one. I also started a group that people

can sign into on Yahoogroups just in case they close this thread. Of

course few have joined but if I keep posting about it and the thread

gets closed you can go there. My point is that lots of people have

been posting on this board about the issue itself. Many more are

becoming dishearted because of the people who need to trash us and

make invalid claims. It has also been feeling lately that we as a group

are falling apart from within. It is too bad we didn't keep the main

subject going. A few days like this and we will be done for.

I tend to use humor to talk about stuff unless it is a serious subject, then I tend to get too deep sometimes but we are who we are. So, I will respond unless I am in the bathroom or if Alex wants to...you know, then I leave immediately. But right now she is in London so you have me for the night or at least part of it. blush.gif

I was hoping someone would question my 1000 pages comment.

But let's all enjoy this one night, for tomorrow....

If you know how to do it, you can highlight the text and make the

font bigger. The double spacing is something I do to deal with

aspergers and difficulty concentrating. A double space is also easier

to read as the text is far apart enough you don't get distracted. The

reason people have any trouble with it is because they are used to

the single space. Just let the text flow and soon you will see what I

mean. This is why legal briefs are double spaced and sometimes even

wider. Easier to read between the lines forming the intent of the writer

and such. smile.gif

This is no surprise to me. If you go check with the FCC guess what

FOX NEWS's license is classified as?????? Entertainment. This is why

they can lie about things and no one can touch them. Entertainment

doesn't have to tell the truth. People have sued for misinforming the

public and the courts just shrug their shoulders and ask what they can

do as the FOX NEWS is nothing more than an Entertainment Channel.

So good for you!

And thanks for the honesty. I'm sorry the bullys have been so hateful.

Hopefully you get a few giggles at their expense soon.

Kari,

I'm sorry you feel that we are not keeping focus. I really feel like we are. It has been quite a while now since the incident in question and we have all posted our thoughts and feelings on the subject. As new issues come up, we respond to those. As we are attacked, we respond to that. Inbetween times, I do not think it is unreasonable for people to chat, get to know eachother better and share some humor to take the edge off of some of the really hateful things that have been thrown at us. I feel we grow stronger as we do this, not that we are falling apart from within.

We still are standing up for what is right. We still are asking Ms. Warner and Bravo to have the decency to address the matter. We are still letting them know that the core issue remains the same - (and others have said it, even just today, more eloquently than I can take the time to say it now).

I am glad that you have set up a place we can go if they close down the boards to us here - we may yet need that option (and it was nice of you to take on the task and responsibility - thank you!). But do not be discouraged if not many people have not gone there yet. I, for one, am remaining here because I still hope that Bravo will do the right thing and I feel the right place for them to hear me is on one of their boards. And the place for me to hear them is on one of their boards. If they shut me down here, I will continue elsewhere, but while I still have hope that they will step up and do the right thing, I feel the need to stay here and at least try.

The attackers want us to be discouraged, to feel disheartened, to leave. I, personally, do not want to give them (and their hate tactics) the satisfaction. I want to encourage you. I hope in some way I have. If I have not, please PM me and lets chat at a deeper level that is not open to the attackers. Hang in there my friend!
