I have to share with you guys something that happened yesterday. My 92 year old grandmother was visiting from the midwest and a bunch of the family were at my mom's house to see her (my sibs, their kidlets etc.). My grandma says "there were these three older ladies who die and go to heaven..." and my mom yells "STOP!, Mom, can the "kids" (meaning her grand and great grand kids) hear this?" (tells you a little something about my saucy grandma!) and my grandma says "Of course! (all offended like, but with a little smile on her face)" and continues her joke.
These three ladies are met at the pearly gates by St. Peter who welcomes them in but cautions them about the ducks. They look around and see that heaven is full of ducks! Peter says "whatever you do, do not step on the ducks!". Well, a few days go by and all of a sudden an angel comes by and handcuffs a rather unattractive man to one of the ladies wrist. She asks "what is this about?" the angel says "You have to be shackled to him for eternity because you stepped on a duck". Well a week goes by and another angel comes by with an even less attractive man and handcuffs him to another one of the ladies. She looks at the angel and the angel says "Yes, you must be shackled to him for eternity because of the duck you stepped on!". A month goes by and an angel comes and handcuffs and absolutely gorgeous man to the third lady and she looks at the angel and says "Wow! What is this for?" and the angel says "He stepped on a duck!"

Did I tell you how much we pay? LOL! Seriously, when we first finished the house about 4 years ago, we decided to try a maid. I am VERY anal about bathrooms and sinks (no pun intended). So I found myself after the first couple of times, cleaning before they came. We went from a three bedroom 20's style Tudor to a HOUSE thinking if our parents ever need to come live with us then we would have a wing for them. Nice in theory but we literally, unless we have company, live in about 1/4 of the house. I want to sell but Alex is not there yet. Anyway, I digress...I fired the maids after 2 months because I was paying for them to do what I was doing before they came. Now we just have a chore list...People always asks us who is the "butch" and who is the "femme" and I being one who hates labels, usually reply, "Depends on who roles which way first."

Momma...don't you just love diet coke??!!? When I have to have blood drawn, I always tell them they are going to have to drain off a Two Liter of Diet Coke first, THEN they can get to my blood.

Newbie! I'm Cathy and have watched the show since Season 1. While i love it that the show openly shows the gay community in such a real and positive light I hate what has happened to Ms. Warner. What happened to change her in such a terrible way? I'm trying to find out the start of the talk on this board about the trainers that left and why they left. I see Greg P and Ranessa missing from the Skylab wesite. The last few episodes have really turned me against her. She has the golden opportunity to help people get into a more healthy lifestyle and help the gay community with this show yet all I see is a vain women only into what she can get out of the exposure. Can anyone sum up what happened?

I want to hear some of Grandma's saucy material sometime... I think she and I would get along just fine...

Maybe I'm too lazy to find the start of the discussion but i did find some of the posts related to the "breast" episode. Maybe I've already made up my mind from that show or some other ones where Ms Vanity Smurf has been rude and ugly to her employees ie Rebecca. Maybe I can't find the good edit and I have tried to find it hoping she can't be as bad as she appears on the show. Peeler is a butt and he is loud and pushy but didn't deserve the crap she gave him. Her rude dismissal of him came across as a power play and an attempt to push the blame elsewhere. Maybe I'll watch the new season or maybe I'll call it a day. What a waste of an opportunity is all I will say.

Just wanted to stop and say HI to all of you. I too have taken some time and read all of the posts. Talk about a roller coaster of emotions. I am truly amazed by the hate being spewed by some of the "Pro Jackie" supporters. How they can continue to support her after watching the episode in question, as well as this entire season is beyond my comprehension.
I do find it interesting that they only seem to really be at it, just before and after a new episode airs though.

by the way, DrB. For my kitty that I had as a child, we always put the catnip (just a pinch or two) in the bottom of a paper bag, laying in on its side and watched Tiger roll around in the bag. Worked for her..... She was brought into the house to be my cat, birthday present, but quickly became my mom's cat. So I can sympathize with the attacks from no where...LOL

Back, I was triplet feeding.
I think the donkey will be ok now. It's ribs are showing but I have seen much worse. I have seen worse rain rot also. It needed more care than I could give it. I know very little about any equines, much less a donkey, but the hospital is very good. They even have the ability to hang horses up, so they can heal. Wonderful place it is. They will pull her through. I got to rename her though. Her name is Faith. With some kind attention, I think she will find the will to be ok. That is what will save or lose her.
As for the owner, who is actually a person who buys and sells real estate, and has funds, but is a greedy, selfish,......(removed foul language here)... will be brought up on charges, and since the humane society last year rallied to have some of the laws changed in the county, he will be in deep trouble.
