OK this is OT--(the forum topic being season 2 Reunion show).
Has anyone thought of doing a yahoogroups group to discuss the topic of JW and Workout. Obviously, Bravo doesn't want to hear from it's bill-paying public anymore.
This kind of "groundswell" though, sounds like the kind of thing that might be discuss on The View or...One of the Entertainment /gossip shows.
Also might be something that Kathy Griffin mentions in her stand up.
I was also interested (as unpopular as this might be) to noticed that in the previews of the further season, Peeler is in a future episode saying something about "being someone's [expletive deleted]" and then there's a clip of JW saying something about "I want a [expletive deleted]". So I'm wondering what that's about.
--Gypsy in FL
ps- Is Bravo the only person who can "start a topic" on this board?
JCpalmsprings
You will have to watch future shows for us and let us know... Yes only Bravo can create these threads
I cannot watch JW and Andy= Low Rent Pond Scum... I can no longer watch bravo or support any of its sponsers... Just called at&t I am now with Verizon....

8. people opposed to sexual harassment in the work place.

shame shame shame.... are you kidding????

I too joined the board after last week's episode (it took five days for the account to be set up for some reason...perhaps because of the name I chose...lol). I have always found it odd that Bravo would willingly show such blatant sexual harassment. If Jackie were a man, I doubt that Bravo would have aired the behavior and even if they did, the media would be on it like white on rice.

I checked the Sky Sport Web site when the new season began, and I noticed that her Season 3 girlfriend, Brianna, was listed as a trainer (that must have been fun for Rebecca, Renessa, and Brianna all working together). I was on the site today and she is no longer listed. Maybe they broke up, who knows. I also saw that Jackie's girlfriend from the last season is one of her top MySpace friends...maybe they are back together?

In any case, Jackie had the audacity to get on the new trainer for dating a client, when she sleeps with her employees and hires her girlfriends. No one in that gym seems to mind, which is mind boggling. If it were a man, would they be so complicit and tolerant of sexual harassment in their workplace? If a man said his employees were a few coctails from sleeping with him, would that be okay? If I were Rebecca, I would have sued Jackie up the Sky Sport.
Jackie Sucks
Also, I meant to add this...I remember reading about this when it happened. Granted, the Enquirer reported it (though they do sometimes get things right), but given what we've seen on the show, I think Jackie is probably good for it. I remember reading at the time that this incident didn't get a lot of play because apparently Warner is not her real name.

Wardell is her real last name (from a post on one of the threads that was locked down!).

For anyone who is still really upset about Tuesday's episode, I had compiled a list of execs at NBC (which owns Bravo) that people could complain to. If you want to e-mail, as far as I can tell, the addresses are firstname.lastname@nbcuni.com. Since people successfully got Gatoraid to pull their Propel sponsorship, maybe writing and faxing these folks will get Jackie off the air.

I posted a comment on Andy's blog for today asking why he hadn't made a comment on the show and I guess Bravo is editing his comments. They haven't even updated the blog comments for any of the Work Out Blogs.
Have been sending emails to TMZ to get them to pick up the story.

Thank you I didn't scroll down:)
Andy's Blog for today only shows 3 comments and I posted one around lunch time I think it was. I can't remember times anymore, too many post on too many sites on this topic trying to get something done about the EVIL Jackie:)

Let me re-correct myself again, blogs for the trainers are being edited. I posted comments in Jackie's, Peeler's and Erica's and I can't find any of them. The comment on Erica's said that she had brown stuff on her nose, that she must really need that job at Sky sports and I wished her luck in life and God Bless. Now what was so bad about that? I guees Bravo didn't like it
JCpalmsprings
I still believe they are trying to Censor us and they hope the whole thing will just blow over.
When a major sponsor pulls out of your programming that is huge. The damage to Jackie's reputation in the fitness industry has been done.
I also believe they will try to pin this on Jackie and Lisa only and not the network, writers, producers and editing. Jackie doesn't have sole creative control over this show, that belongs to Bravo.
I also sent many post to the trainers blogs that have not been posted.
If you look at some of the trainers bios they are not certified. I bet most are models and actors....

PETITION STATUS

I am currently drafting the final version of the letter to Bravo and NBC. It will be sent tomorrow morning. I will post a complete copy here when I am finished. In the meantime, continue to spread the word!

PETITION CALLING FOR WORKOUT CANCELLATION

I've started an online petition for those willing to back up their opinions/comments here with a strong message to Bravo and the makers of Propel Fitness Water. The formal letter will be sent to Bravo on Monday (tomorrow).

Copies will go to the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Assocation and the International Sports Science Association (organizations which certify Ms. Warner) as well as Gatorade (makers of Propel Fitness Water), HRC, The American Cancer Society, The City of Beverly Hills, CA and NBC.

I will post a copy of the letter here.

Spread the word!

PETITION LOCATION: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/petition/643731154

UPDATE: 433 signatures - Keep them coming! Jackie may be the dictator of her gym, but it is the VIEWERS who have the ultimate say in her show's success or lack thereof! Post a link to this wherever you can, public boards, blogs, email, etc. Let's get to 500 by Monday!

I have determined that if this board gets closed that I am going to

go to Yahoogroups and open a group. Now I had thought of using

a name that is not any sort of copyright infringement but makes it

clear that it is about the show WorkOut and Jackie's Bad behavior

and unwillingness to admit wrongdoing. Any ideas anyone? Send me

message if anyone wishes to join. Just click on my name and use

send message to let me know if you want me to go ahead and open

the group as well a name for the group. If you post it openly that is

okay also. smile.gifsmile.gif

You know gas prices are almost $4.00 why don't you guys do something better then get this upset about a stupid scripted reality show and help all of the US out and contact people about that! It is a TV show we do not know what really happened we were not there. I think she has grown to big for her britches too! So you what I turn the channel if it gets to me that much. Some of us like the show and have started to work out. I would not work for her but hey, you know what I don't. They all are in it and making $ so get over it!

Has anyone written these two places via email: National Exercise and Sports Trainers Assocation and the International Sports Science Association (organizations which certify Ms. Warner)? They might like to know what kind of person they are certifying!

These are mail-order certification sites. They don't care who you are when you buy your cert. They give you information then, when you pass their tests (which are pretty easy ro pass) they hand you a piece of paper. I think NESTA offers a weekend seminar that you can go to, but in the realm of 'What's 'REAL'" its all pretty much snake oil compared to a proper 4 to 8 year education at an accredited university in the field of Sports Sciences.

Long story short, as far as they are concerned, she paid her money for her certificate, as did 999,999,999 other jokers, so their work is done and they are not responsible.
KariAna
What makes you believe that we are not doing anything about these

things? Do you truly believe that we can only do one thing at a time?

It is important to tell a bully that their behavior is not okay. It doesn't

matter if the bully is Bush<Shrubster> or Jackie Warner. Why does it

bother you so much that we are trying to right a wrong done to Brian

Peeler as well as the client Deenie. Maybe if some people read what

we are saying someone might actually give Rebecca a heads up to file

a Sexual Harrassment lawsuit against Jackie. Who knows what more

we might find to make a bully accept responsibility for their actions.

If you read the posts in all 3 threads you would understand or if you even watched the show you would understand the backlash towards Jackie Warner. Yes, we want a PEELERBUILT show. He has more heart and will be more motivating to watch than this so named Work Out.

Perhaps BRAVO knew JW's antics would cause such a commotion? Perhaps there is a show for Peeler in the works...who knows?
ByebyeJackie
Glad to see we've moved onto another board since Bravo is trying to shut us down for voicing our disgust and frustration with Jackie Warner Wardell, WorkOut and Bravo's guilty staff.

I think a Yahoo Group for our work is much needed. Go for it!

Just to let you guys know, I emailed Peeler last week to share how we support him and that we got Gatorade to pull out. He actually replied back!!! He said "you guys f****ing rock!!!"

Keep up the good work! Let's keep the pressure on Soyjoy and NBC! If we want real results, we gotta go above peoples' heads here!!
ohiofarmgirl
We all need to be very careful about what it is that drives each individual into action. Everything that has been said and done as a group has hopefully been for the purpose of improving something - not making a personal attack to tear someone down...no matter how deserved. If Peeler is your motivational source, keep on track with the issue and don't you or Brian make it personal. I too would like to see him do better, but not in the wake of a mob mentality to trash Jackie Warner Waddell. I wish him the best of luck and am sure he will rise above all of this...just want to see him be true to his Carolina, small town, humble roots. Don't make the same mistakes Warner/Wadell is making...be better. Please pass this on to him if you are in contact.

It seems the only trainer that is certified is Jackie. All the other trainers including Peeler are just actors reading scripts. Wow how the wool gets pulled over ones eye so easily.

There all just bad actors - not real trainers.

My first post. I now refer to this show as the "Lesbian Jack*** Hour". You know, gay people should really be pissed over this show. It totally ratifies the views of some straight people that all gays are promiscuous. As far as promiscuity goes, I think gays are no different from straights, I mean some are, but most aren't, but this show sure casts gay women in a bad light.

Someone needs to watch the next show, make a list of all the advertisers, and post it here.

You need to define "Real Trainer". Jackie and most of the folks she's brought onto the show have mail-order certs saying that they know how to properly use the equipment and can lead individuals to do the same.

A real Trainer has had extensive education in exercise physiology, nutrition, sports sciences, biology, human anatomy...just to name a bit of what they go through.

Jackie is NOT a trainer. Heck I wouldn't trust her to accurately read a thermometer. She is a sel-proclaimed expert.

The wool is even thicker than you imply.

Yep, unflattering indeed...not to mention un-real, but Bravo TV thinks its worthy of depiction. Heck, if you spent an hour per week in my home, you'd say "Dang, these 2 women are boring"...that is until you have some of my home cookin, then you'd say "Dang, these 2 boring lesbians sure can cook!", but ultimately the lack of drama would make for poor TV per Bravo's standards. But, at least you'd get a fine home-cooked meal for your efforts. Want to really know what the lifestyle is like? Go find yourself a couple of boring lesbians to show you. We're really no different than anybody else.

Second of all, Jackie was the one who was doing the trash talking and Lisa chimed in. If you go to Bravo's site, she completely denies ever saying anything. She is extremely unprofessional. She never even acknowledged, not during or after the incident. That was my first and last time to ever train there. I only went on the show as a favor to Brian Peeler. To say that she didn't know who I was seems obsurd since I had to sign off to even appear on the show. I do not have a trainer and haven't had one years. It is really unfortunate that they used that incident to fire Peeler.

Thank you to those who have shown their support on the site and on my myspace. I really appreciate it!Exactly what I thought happened.

Here's the link to the original post....why did they close season 3 thread?

Who's trashing, ohiofarmgirl? It seems to me that these guilty parties have trashed themselves. What we've demonstrated thus far, in holding these people accountable, is far from what the actions derived from "mob mentality" would be. "Mob mentality" would be to drive to take to the streets and clog Wilshire Blvd. "Mob mentality" would be to hastily take action without thought as to what would be most effective to achieve our objectives.

We are not at Yahoo yet. We need to get a name and I need more than

Is everyone aware that GLAAD is airing their Award show on Bravo and Jackie is up for a couple of awards as an outstanding role model for the GLBT community. They have also honored her on several occasions in the past.
As a member of the community I am deeply offended by this. If you are offended as well please write too entertainment@glaad.org
For me she is not a role model. I would encourage everyone to add the links to the press sites that are on here including the one referring to her DUI and Assault, Reference both episodes, her rant on Olivia cruise line, her on-board behavior while in a committed relationship, her sexual harassing of employees and her rude comments on Jamie a cancer survivor....

Not trashing anyone, love. Just pointing out that it's easy amidst the anger to lose focus of a common goal - Mob Mentality.

Reread some of the posts. Borderline personal attacks on an individual as opposed to sticking to what it is that honestly is deemed 'wrong behavior'.

Am I personally angry at what is being portrayed in this show - Yep. Do I think it's wrong of Warner-Wadell and Bravo TV to assume I (and others) would sit and take it quietly, Yep. Am I doing something about it, yep. Am I being careful not to let my anger cloud my effort, yep.

Just saying, for the record, we need to be careful too.

I think on the ask a lesbian link, Jackie made the comment that she too was dissapointed in the negative way her and her work has been showed and dissapointed it was edited this way. I nearly missed the comment b/c it looked like it was just a copy of the original 'apology'.

I totally agree that editing happens but it's always the reality show "villians" that cry it was the edititng. On the NYC Housewives reunion one of them cried that's why she looked so bad. Then the rest said that was crap, they can't create behavior, and when bad footage of them was shown they owned up to it and some did try to explain it away, but no one cries foul except the one's who face the biggest backlash.

So how did they edit.....
"Get the *&^% out and take your client with you"

So now a week later let's recap.

Lisa bad guy
Peeler bad guy
Bravo bad guy

Jackie a victim of editing???

Bravo, be warned she is not only alientating your viewers but now appears to be blaming you for this as well. Funny she didn't seem to be so down on the show when doing the press tour for it.

If you post it openly that is

okay also. smile.gif smile.gif

Kari Ana,
I think Simple typographical changes could be used to avoid "copyright infringements" For Example: Work-Out (instead of "Workout") or Br*vo or Sky-Sp*rt and maybe include "discontent" in the title to further define the name.
Hope that helps...

You know gas prices are almost $4.00 why don't you guys do something better then get this upset about a stupid scripted reality show and help all of the US out and contact people about that!
Wow, that's the very first time I've been told I can bring down gas prices by not criticizing Jackie Warner. Good thing there's an inflation in the price of crude oil, or we all might feel free to express our opinions about television shows. Of course, then I suppose the prices would spike again.

Work Out Episode 4:

I have to admit that I have done a very unhealthy thing and read the blogs and comments regarding this episode. It's amazing to me how viewers and cast members have such strong opinions about everyone and everything including me. So, by request, I am posting my own blog to share some insight to me and what REALLY happened.

Let's start with my ankle. When we were told the exciting news about receiving Sunfare, I was blown away. Are you kidding me?!? FREE gourmet food delivery service to my house EVERY DAY! SHUT UP!! I was beside myself! So, I did what any normal person would do, the night before Sunfare started, I threw away EVERYTHING in my cabinets, fridge and freezer to take away any temptation and I scheduled a get together with some friends to go eat fried chicken and get drunk! (For one last time!) So, my friend Kelli came over and we were walking out the door to my house to go meet everyone and BAM! My foot caught the edge of my doormat and I fell down, HARD. I couldn't move, I was crying so hard (as we see I apparently do a lot of crying) and poor Kelli was freaking out trying to figure out what to do. She took one look at my ankle and said that we had to go to the emergency room, now. So, she tries to carry me (and she is a 110 pound blonde model, so insert funny image here) and I immediately get on the phone with Kit, one of the producers of the show. I am crying so hard I can barely talk. I am so afraid that they will kick me off the show and that I have blown the biggest opportunity of my life. Sweet Kit! She calmed me down and said that we would figure it all out. So, I get to the emergency room (another ungodly experience) and they said that it could be a chipped bone, a hairline fracture or a really bad sprain. They also so that I had to go to an orthopedic specialist. Come on people, you all saw how swolen and black my ankle was, does anyone really think I did that on purpose?!?! Seriously! So, my friend Gina gave me the name of her orthopedic surgeon and he said that I couldn't put any weight on my ankle for at least six weeks and that I would need to go through intense physical therapy. When I talked to Jackie about it, she said that we would work through it. So, it really pissed me off when I watched the show and she made the comment that she had to "deal with Deenie". UGH.

When Jackie was asking the Sky Lab clients about our trainers, I was completely honest in the fact that I liked Gregg as a person and that it felt that he was more interested in his music career than his training career. It did hurt my feelings when I heard everyone else say how their trainers called them on a daily basis, worked out with them more than what was "required", had suggested workouts for when they weren't together, and being supportive. I got very jealous! I not gonna lie! It didn't seem fair that we are weren't getting the same opportunity. But, life's not fair, right?

So, I get a call from the producers to schedule an "on camera" training session with Gregg. It had to be during the day, so I had to take a day off work. I live and work in the Valley, so it's kind of a trek to get to Beverly Hills. So, here I am sitting in traffic and my phone rings. It's a producer calling and he says "You're still coming, Deenie, right?" I said yeah, I'm supposed to be there in thirty minutes. He said, "I know, I mean even though Gregg cancelled, you're still coming, right?" Oh no he didn't! Here I am, sitting in traffic, took off of work and HE CANCELS?!?! I begin to express my unhappiness when the producer says, "Shhh...save it for the camera," and he hangs up. I AM BEYOND PISSED. So, I go into the gym talking to other producers while I am getting miked up and they all say the same thing: "SAVE IT FOR THE CAMERA." I then ask, what they want me to do and they said, "Well, if you were in any other gym, wouldn't you go to the office manager (i.e. Lisa) and complain?" Ummm, okay, makes sense to me. So, I go in and tell Lisa that it was ten or fifteen minutes passed our training session (which it was) and that Gregg wasn't there AGAIN, as he had been late to every other session. Lisa is very nice (and conveniently miked up as well) and says that we will find someone else to train me. As soon as we walk out of her office and into the lobby, who is walking out of the elevator? GREGG BUTLER. Well, my first thought is that he had been there the whole time and the producers "staged" his entrance. Come to find out, no. He had no idea what was going on. I very calmly (not accostingly) said "Yeah, we need to talk." I feel that during the entire conversation, I was WELL within my rights to be hurt, mad and aggravated. I did not appreciate his condescending attitude, his "looks" and his overall arrogance with regard to me. F**K THAT! And I am trying to explain all of this, when Lisa says that I need love and affection?!?!?! NO! F**K LOVE AND AFFECTION!!!!! I WANT A TRAINER TO DO HIS JOB! I had continuously been asking him what I could do on my own, when we weren't together and he said that I couldn't do anything. So, when I went to bootcamps with Jackie, I wanted to incorporate some of the things that she had me do. Gregg had none of that. He said that he was my trainer and we would do things HIS way. Okay, no worries, if HE ACTUALLY DOES HIS JOB! I was so hurt when he said on the show that he doesn't like me. Am I going to b***h and whine and moan when I'm working out? UMMM...YEAH! Sorry, this is all new to me! I am extremely out of shape and I openly admit that! If there was a magic wand that I could wave and be skinny then I would buy it! But, there's not. I know this, that's why in dealing with my injury, I didn't want to fall behind everyone and let everyone down, which is exactly what I felt like I was doing.

OH! And to watch Gregg and Jackie's discussion about me? What the f**k?!?!?! He has no idea what my problem is?!? Ummm...I said it like twelve times! He totally was saving his own a** and made me look like the bad, fat, crazy lady. Not cool...

Oh jeezus, and next week it's even going to get worse. That when we have the infamous retreat. That was literally the worst weekend of my entire life. I am trying to mentally prepare myself for reliving everything that happened.

That's all for now...watch what happens.

O Deenie I feel your pain!!! I too am a large woman and out of shape. About ten years ago I went to the emergency room with what turned out to be a SEVERE Sprain to my ankle.

The doctors told me then that severe sprain often takes longer and is more painful to heal then a break. I didn't believe...but it didn't take me long to figure it out (I had broken my foot a few years earlier..bad enough to need a cast...I didn't see how a Sprain could be worse than that).

To anyone who hasn't been through the experience..your ankle is WEAK and painful for a LOOONG time. You do have limited motion. The physical therapy sucks...especially when they get the "spur" looking thing and run it across the point of the sprain to breakdown the scar tissue.

For months after the sprain I had to watch my footing because my ankle would "suddenly" give. That's why PT was so important to help strengthen it.

Even now when I over exert myself it gives me warning "twinges" and I do my PT exercises. It's sad your trainers didn't recoginize the legitimacy of your injury. I bet your PT therapist did! I may think PT therapists are sadists but they really do care about their patients and they know an injury is real.

From Andy's Blog:
Jackie and I discussed all the talk and controversy surrounding last week's episode. Here is my take: there was animosity between Jackie and Peeler from the beginning of the first season, and it looked to me like she had just been looking for a reason to fire him. The incident that preceeded the firing was unfortunate and unintentional and as they said on the show, everyone involved apologized when they found out that this woman was a breast cancer survivor.

NO ONE condones any of these comments. NO ONE. What happens on reality tv is sometimes uncontrollable and there are often controversial subjects and, within this instance, it was dealt with within the actual episode. I thought Lisa was completely sincere in the episode when she said how horribly she felt, and I got an email from her the other day saying that Cancer runs in her family and that she would never joke about that topic.

Deenie,

I don't know the situation totally but I do have a few questions and statements. Did Greg promise to call you everyday or is it just because other trainers call their clients you expect to be called on a daily basis? Just because the others do you can not expect Greg to do that also.

When you saw Greg come off the elevator you were upset but had you approached him with a less hostile attitude you probably would have gotten further with him. You remember the old adage about catching more with honey than vinegar?

Have you ever watched Work Out before? If you have you know it is all about drama. I would have been suspicious if I was told Greg was not going to be there. Seems to me Lisa and the producers had it all set up to have you become upset, why would they call and tell you when you were in the car and on your way to the spa that Greg was not going to be there. Then they say "save it for the cameras." Had it been ligitmate, they would have had another trainer there to take over immediately. Obviously it was a set up on their parts because Greg was almost on the next elevator from the ground floor. You had enough time to really get upset. I would have not fallen for the set up. Think about it, you are called and told to be there, then in traffic you are told Greg will not be there, then you are told to save the hostility for the camera, you bound off the elevator and Lisa is all sympathetic and gushy, Greg comes off the elevator with a surprised expression on his face (expressing, what is going on here), you confront Greg, Lisa hussles you off. They played you like a harp and you fell for it lock, stock and barrel.

As for Greg not liking you, you can not like everyone and not everyone can like you. All you can expect from Greg is that he treats you civilly. If you felt you were not getting friendship from Greg, I would have gone to Jackie and asked her to change your trainer, if you are paying for these Lab sessions that is the least you can expect. Trainers do not have to shower you with love and affection. If you are getting this gratis you can not demand too much and can only make requests. Sometimes when you start out on the wrong foot it is better to regroup with another person.

Whining and moaning all the time during workouts is really annoying to the trainer and the others around you that are working out. You pull everyone down emotionally. You should have realized that when you work out with a trainer they will push you to your limits. That is the name of the game. When you work out there is a saying, "No Pain, No Gain."

When you work out with Jackie you do things her way, when you work out with any other trainer you do things their way. Had Jackie wanted you to do things totally her way, she would be training you all the time. They are the experts and maybe Greg has ways of doing things or is trying to do things that will be of more value to you because of your health. You have to follow their guidance, otherwise you would not have gone to Sky Sport and Lab.

I have no emotional involvement here just stating things as I saw them. I had a personal trainer, he never called me, just expected me to be there on time and do cardio's until he felt I was warmed up. He was not always on time. I did not like him at all and I don't think he really liked me, we gutted it thru. I did things that I did not think I could do and toughed it though those exercises. I got sick a few times and had to go to the wash room. It was not totally a pleasant experience but I was not there for fun and games, I was there to loose weight and feel better. It worked and I was happy in the end with the results. During the work out program I signed up for, I had broken toes and a sprained ankle. We worked around that taped ankle and all, but never cut back on the exercises. Working out is never easy when you are overweight and out of condition. Even people who are the correct weight and out of condition have a difficult time working out.

When I went to the gym for the first time, I really did not know what to expect except that I would be working out. I did not expect it to be a tea party. I expected it would be hard physical work and that I would be totally worn out after each session. My trainer had a complete exercise program for me and he introduced me to new exercises each time I went. I worked out at home on my own between each sessions with my trainer. My trainer got me to where I wanted to be and I will be eternally greatful. We never did really like each other, but he was happy with my results and told me so, he also told me he did not think I would get it all accomplished but I did and for that he was happy for me. I still go to the gym and work out and I still push myself so I stay in shape. Got to keep those endorphins flowing.

I am not meaning to sound hostile towards you, I am stating only what I saw and what happened to me. I feel you were not realistic in your expectations. If no one (the one who approached you to do this, Lab) explained this to you then they were wrong, if they did not explain it all to you and you did not ask then you were wrong.

Working out is not a quick fix to a problem it is a continuing process. I just kept thinking how long it took me to get out of shape and said to myself it is going to be a hard row to hoe to get back into shape. Good luck on your quest, just depend more on yourself to do the work. Do what I did as an incentive, I went out and bought a very very expensive dress and hung it in the middle of my kitchen in a plastic bag. My goal was to get into that dress without splitting a seam. I did it. I put that dress on one day and went to the gym and when my trainer spotted me...

In all fairness to Deenie, this was not a tradional trainer-client set up. It was presented as a life changing journey, where clients were hand picked to their trainers. Jackie was the one who set up the high expectations of the trainer client relationship. She would have to expect people to pay $7000 for a week long retreat. Jessie visited a home and did a refrigerator cleanse with his client. So yes I can understand where Deenie is upset.
She was asked to put her life and story out there flaws in all, in turn she was looking to take the first steps to a healthy lifestyle. Jackie pointed out she was morbidly obese and this was a serious issue with some of the heavier clients. I think for the dramatic effect she actually said life or death, when she met with the Doctor previously.

On a more serious note. In one week over 112,000 (and still climbing) lost souls in Myanmar and China. Some times you just need to look at what you have be grateful and let everyone in your world know how much they mean to you. Say a few words to whatever higher power you belive in.
