If it is the 'shock' value of watching someone do, say, or act in a way that you would never imagine on a personal level, then just maybe it's because you have some shred of moral fiber to realize it is something WRONG.

There are folks in here standing up to 'Bullies'. I say "GOOD FOR YOU!" Stand and be heard. I will defend your right to my last breath (or keystroke- whichever comes first!)

Some details I said I wouldn't give--

- I have a gay brother who has been HIV+ for nearly 20 years. I have dedicated my life to him and this cause and thank God that he's still here on a daily basis. I spend a lot of time volunteering with an organization to educate 'at-risk' gay teens about safe sex. In recent years, we've seen a spike in HIV that is directly related to Meth.

- I am a trainer and a coach. I specialize in preparing children to compete in the Special Olympics. (The short bus reference was a bit of humor from popular culture. I did not say retarded or anything about the developmentally delayed.)

-I spent nearly every moment growing up training and was fortunate enough to have represented the US at one Olympic Games and One Goodwill Games. No I won't give details of sport, dates, etc.

-Maybe because of my brother or maybe not, I spent most of my college and post college years in gay clubs. I preferred the company and in some ways, always sort of wished I was a lesbian so I could be part of the party. But according to my brother, I would have been much less popular in the clubs if I was a lesbian. Some of you will get that!

I am very sensitive to all humans (and animals--Vegan). That's why I can appreciate that the cast of Work Out is very human. I think mostly, they're pretty normal with a lot of creative planning and editing to make the show more interesting. I have opinions about Jackie's behavior but I do respect what she has accomplished while still believing that Bravo needs to address the Jamie Eason issue and shift the focus of the show.

Most importantly, I don't take myself too seriously. Life can be heartbreaking and challenging. I'm not going to get into a shouting match with anyone about Work Out or anything for that matter....

I understand where you're coming from and think your passion is admirable.

Yes. Jackie was a lying, narcissistic, passive aggresive [expletive deleted] again. She told one of Peeler's old clients that Brian was always a great trainer, but that wasn't the issue. This was only because the client said she loved Brian and got results with him. Then she assigned a guy who's never trained anyone to the same client, and said she was sure he'd be better than Peeler.

Peeler and Jackie apparantly see each other at some function next week, and Peeler confronts her. Bravo producers are trying to create drama, but they've gone way too far. They've exposed the underlying scumminess of their main character. There are no strong supporting characters to pick up the slack.

This show is over.

Sorry to jump in, but she never commented on or asked about you personally or what you do for a living. The Nurse refrence was just a comparason saying that Brovo is making gym people look like sluts when they aren't. You kind of said the same thing, ya'll are on the same page, settle down.

If Deenie's ankle is so bad, was isn't it wrapped or braced? Odd.

I am positive (because I have been in a similar business situation0 that the attorney team for Work Out would make Deenie get a doctor's okay to continue. She brought up doctors a lot. A lot. So, if it really was as bad as you state above, she should have been pulled from SkyLab. Either by her doctor or by Jackie. But, she wasn't. She really looked like she simply refused to try.

Having had clients of my own, as well as dealing with my own injuries, I know that you HAVE to work through the pain... once the healing has happened.

I question everyone's judgement about her ankle - Deenie's: was it reeeeeally that bad? Jackie's: do you reeeeeally think she was physically and mentally fit enough to be in SkyLab? Gregg's: are you reeeeally ready to take on a client with these emotional issues? Her doctor's: Is she signed off or not?

According to Deenie her dr told her to stay off her ankle.for 6 weeks. she discussed it with Jackie. Jackie told her they would work around it.....

My first guess and it is only a guess, the bruise seemed

to be over the shin. Perhaps it has a bone bruise more

than a sprained ankle. That is very painful. Could be part

of a sprained ankle. The bruise looked very bad so whatever

the answer, I do believe the injury is bad enough to limit

her exercise.

No need to be sorry as long as you really believe she was

faking. I have no idea how someone might have a bruise

like that and something not be wrong. Also, Jackie seemed

to be aware of the severity of her ankle problem because she

made such a big deal about Deenie not doing the same exercises

as the others. The exercises she gave her appeared to put no

strain on her ankle.

It is difficult to have a bad medical problem and people think

you are lying. For years I was treated badly at work because I

kept having all kinds of pain. My doctors kept saying they couldn't

find anything, and on and on till I completely collapsed physically

and mentally. In April 1993 my doctor sent me for back X-rays. He

seemed to have something in mind. A few days later I get a call

from the nurse telling me I have dengerative disk disease. I made an

appointment and my doctors partner was to see me. I could not figure

out why my own doctor wouldn't see me. Turns out they knew I had

this particular spine problem since the first visit I had to their office

where they had a note from previous doctor. It seems my former

company had GAGGED my doctors using the HMO Gag Order that

was in place until 1993 when it was banned. They had known for

years that I not only had degenerative disk disease but that I had

a disk blown out onto the spinal chord. Seems the company didn't

think my life was in danger so they put legal restriction on my doctors.

It still makes me angry. I learned a very important lesson. Never

look at someone else and believe they are faking illness. You see

my company didn't just gag my doctors. They also encouraged my

peers to believe that I was a nut case. It isn't nice to question when

people say they are ill.

I stuck to my guns and didn't watch the show. That being said I did have a friend email details. (She has a crush on the new Greg- hey whatever gets a 40 something thru the day )

This is what she said, don't know if anyone who actually watched it agrees.

1. She said the beginning focused on Brain and wasnt' favorable to Jackie. He said he wanted to do right by his client and said he never would hit a women- I don't know how that came up last night?)

2. Watching 250+ person with a bad ankle run in the sand was hard to watch. (I can persoannly attest walking in the sand if you don't have good balance and are out of shape is hard, never mind an injury)

3. Deenie is smoking after workouts and got slammed during therapy

4. Jessie said he would jump off the roof if another Jackie Product was introduced. (After they ate some protein bars she is making)

5. The romance is Reenssa and the new Gregg.

anyway that is the recap I got just thought I would share. If it's not accurate, sorry,- please feel free to coment on anything that isn't right.

Hey...I'm not her doctor...I can't answer that. I know my foot wasn't always wrapped after a center point (my injury was about ten years ago so I'm trying to remember all the sequence of events). I don't think it ever was during PT. I WISH it had been when they did the friggin scar tissue breakdown torture!!! Seriously...a PT therapist gets out this itty bitty tool that looks like a spur and they tell you they are just going to break up some scar tissue...RUUUUUN (if you can). I would have rather done all the foot exercises 50 times repeatedly then THAT!

I seem to remember that after a certain point the wrapping becomes a "crutch." You get dependent on the support and you never fully strengthen your ankle. So you "wrap as necessary."

In any case...Deenie may or may not have been truly in pain or not. Only she can answer that question. I'm just saying...from my experience...a severe sprain can really HURT and mess you up for awhile.

Oh, I'm not saying she was faking it at all! I am saying that she shouldn't have been forced to do the same stuff everyone else did on the beach at the retreat, etc, IF it really was that bad. I'm not sure she should be in SkyLab at ALL. However, if the Work Out attorneys are worth their salt, they would have had a doctor sign off on her and she *may* be playing it up a little. As someone else stated, not enough information to really know.

The ads are still on the site. If Jackie is making her own protein bars than why does SOYJOY still want to sponsor her, unless they make them?

Okay so I dvr'd it, it doesn't matter because A, they don't count them because you skip over the commercials anyway and B I'm not on any type of nielson rating system. So.....I didn't watch the entire thing but here is the recap:

Starts out with Jackie & Peeler's client, Peeler's client is stating that she was nervous about his firing and that Peeler suggested that he would NOT leave her hanging and if she still wanted to work out with him he would bring her to the park or something to accomodate (very noble of him, after all it's his client) Jackie basically gets nasty and starts talking down about Peeler saying "see this is what I mean, this is why I fired him" to the client! Who clearly wanted to stay on the progam but didn't want to cause waves. SHE STATES TO THE CLIENT SHE DID IT IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL MANNER! OMG! I mean how is "get the EFF out of my office and take your client elsewhere!" professional? This client is going to be ticked when she sees the real show. She gave the massage therapist JD Peeler's job he's very sweet but he's NOT a trainer! Like I said I didn't watch the entire thing with just kind of bopped back and forth. I know that the girl with the accent went over to her client's house and worked with him and took good care of him, this is something that Gregg and Jackie state is not part of the program
Now the good part:
They show Peeler at Greg (with 1 G's) house and he is 100% behind Peeler and putting Jackie down and even to the point where he is messing around with his dog saying "get Jackie, get Jackie" VERY funny! He states Jackie is unprofessional and that she is intimidated by men, or something to that effect and that she had no right talking about a client and Peeler had every right to an apology, he was spot on. Renessa also shows up to support Peeler and says something like she heard Peeler got red faced and all and he admitted that he wanted to smack Jackie but he would never hit a woman. She basically states that it snucked he was fired, but she doesn't stand behind him like Greg and put Jackie down (that I can remember anyway) she does support him though. Then Peeler states he just doesn't want to talk about it and wants to have a good lunch together...he's so sweet...I feel so bad for him he's such a great guy

The rest was Jackie being so well behaved that butter could have melted in her mouth, she was caring to the clients, she was respectful to her trainers, she didn't bad mouth one person except Peeler...hmm..some quick editing I must say.

GOOD NEWS!!! GATORADE HAS STUCK BY THEIR WORD!! All the propel bottles were blurred out ....!!! Yeah!! Just bought another case, got to load it up anyway for the summer sports!!

All and all it was my last dvr'd show I will watch of Workout, I removed it this am after watching. I wanted to see Peeler's reaction and the Propel bottles blurred out. KUDOS to them! They do show next week with Jackie and Peeler face to face and him asking her why she doesn't want him with her company and her just saying "no I do not want you working with my company" so we all know what happens no need to watch, they're just trying to get us to watch for Peeler..not happening. Also, the ONLY commercials I saw were of Bravo shows and 1 local ad for the Daniel Webster Inn, which we go to every Father's day and I will call and cancel my reservations for 23 today .

Lastly, just wanted to touch on a comment I heard from Jesse, he said that if he has to hear Jackie peddle one more of her products he's going to jump off a bridge, he was sick of it, lol.

That's it in a nutshell, she puts down Peeler and is Mother Theresa to everyone else!!

Also in the footage Jackie admits to being partners with Jillian Michaels but says the have a love hate relationship. Translation, they can't stand each other. They can't be in the same room for too long together Jackie says.

I am more than half the person I claim to be, I am the whole person I claim to be. If you look at the time I wrote that it was directly after you told me to shut up. So I have no problem with your agenda, I just think that if you've come here to start trouble then you should probably not because it's not going to help your cause, it's only causing more people to sign up and chime in against it. I have morals and my morals tell me that Warner was 100% wrong for making derogatory remarks about a breast cancer survivor as well as an obese woman..and lying and refusing to apologize..period. If you find that entertaining, that is so much your perogative and I have nothing against you for it, it's just that you cannot come here and tell me I'm ruining the show for you because of my opinion and to shut up and not expect backlash. That is something Jackie would do, I'm team Peeler. I expect respect for other people and if they or I don't get it, then I do something about it. I didn't see last night's show, but did see in the commercials they showed Deenie smoking. I don't know if this is a once in a while smoke when I stress clip that was shown or if she is a smoker. I didn't watch last night, so feel free to correct me.

I have to wonder about the health screeing process that goes into this. I would think that any doctor would have someone who smokes and is mobidly obese (their lable not mine). First go through a smoking cessestion program before undergoing a grueling fitness program. If she lied about it then my bad. If she was honest then ??????.

First let me say I watched the program after it had been shown twice, I have read the accounts that have been placed here and found them accurate.

The three things I may have missed here when reading was the confrontation between Jackie and Deenie. It was after the part where Jackie pushed Deenie to finish the run/walk on the sand. Jackie told Deenie that part of her problem of not being able to keep up with the clients not only was her ankle but also was her smoking. Jackie said to Deenie to go to her mat and Deenie responded she was going to get water to drink. Jackie again mentioned the mat and Deenie again stated she was getting some water. Jackie responded something about that is a great attitude. It was confrontational on both sides but Jackie's remark was cutting, it was obvious she was annoyed that Deenie would not do what she was told. Deenie was defiant and Jackie was agitated by Deenie defiance. (I thought to myself had Deenie been Peeler she would have been fired on the spot for the defiance.)

Also in the program Jackie had a session with a professional therapist for the clients at the retreat. Both clients and trainers were present. The clients were all telling their own personal stories and taking responsibility for their emotional problems when they got to Deenie. (Gregg with 2 g's was there too.) After a while of listening to Deenie, one of the male clients jumped in and told her exactly what he thought, the other male client joined in. They both felt that her continual whining was bringing the group down emotionally and physically. The first one said if you don't think all these exercises are hard for me you are wrong. I ache and hurt but I keep going I don't like the pain either. No I do not have a sprained ankle, do what you can do but just stop whining. The first male also brought up her smoking all the time. The second male stated you don't smoke once in a while Deenie as you said, you are a chain smoker. The group came down hard on her for her attitude-whining. All the clients felt Deenie was interjecting too much negativity and destroying all the positive feelings in the group all the time. Deenie left the room and went into the hall for a cigarette. Jackie stated she doubted Deenie would return to the session. Gregg went into the hall to get her after a few minutes and she returned to the session.

Gregg had a confrontation with Deenie over cigarettes early in the morning. Seems as how the trainers were sent to wake up their clients at 5 or so in the A.M. Deenie insisted to Gregg she was going to have a cigarette no matter what. Gregg responded that was not something to do infront of her trainer and the clients had to be ready to go in one/half an hour. He tried to stop her but she was determined.

There possibly was more that I have left out but that was the gist of it. I did not quote anyone, I paraphrased the conversations.

Wow, well maybe since smoking is an additction (I know all too well about the struggles with it), it would have been nice if Deenie has some alone time with the thearapist to discuss how they could work together to overcome it. Just as I would imagine they would handle any other additction be it drugs or alcohol.

It just makes me question the credibility of the program. I remember during one of the first season's of the biggest loser one of the people smoked and did so at the ranch. Jillian Michaels got in his face, crushed the pack with her hands and I think told him if you want me to train you, you have to quit. I belive he did. That's why Jillian rocks.

I agree with all you said, I quit smoking and it was not easy. It took a while. I too felt she needed to spend more time with the therapist at the retreat about that subject.

I have the feeling Gregg is walking on thin water with her and does not really want another show down with her. He could have been stronger in his demand to not smoke that morning. I also felt he was going to leave the smoking issue up to Jackie so she could see for herself exactly what
Deenie was doing to sabatage (spelling) herself.

I just want to comment for a second on Peeler's termination. I am sure Jackie is getting hate mail galor but please realize that not every detail is shown on TV. I think Jackie and Lisa should have kept their insecure catty comments to themselves but how was Jackie to know that Peeler's client had cancer? Jesse also stated he was going to jump off a cliff if Jackie shows up with a new product line. She introduced two new candy bars for the clients.

Let's not forget JD's gloating about Peeler's firing "Peeler out, JD in!" then he goes on to say a few more not so nice things about him then tries to say he considers him a friend. He then lifts Jackie up so HIGH on a pedastal that I was getting dizzy. He's just another one that got on there to BEG us for forgiveness for Jackie's remarks about Jamie Eason and even went as far as stating they were said in private and they shouldn't have even bothered anyone because it was overheard by "someone else" not the client herself! This guy's nose is browner than Erika's on her worst day! He's a massage therapist and he is put in Peeler's place and Jackie states he is going to "BLOW PEELER AWAY" I would bet a million bucks he doesn't blow anything but his opportunity! Smug asre punk.

I just wanted to say HI! I'm not big into posting or keeping up with message boards. The only reason I made an account here was to comment on my dissatisfaction with Bravo and Jackie after last weeks show. The board I had been watching was closed and I figured that was the end of the conversations about it. I had a hunch though, and here I am.

All I want Bravo to know is that I haven't watched any Bravo TV since the day I watched my recorded episode of Work Out, that I will not do so (I almost can't stand to lose Top Chef and Project Runway but that is what I feel I must do) each to their own, right? I won't watch this channel until Jackie takes responsibility for what she has done or failed to do with some form of public statement. Bravo needs to take responsibility and make her make a statement. Or maybe, depending on what they thought she would say, they believe a statement from her would only make things worse...

I have said it before, it's a big informercial.

I admit I roll my eyes during Top Chef and the "glad family of products" mention, but I will say, they are selling a cookbook as well, and I can only remember one metion of it in a show, when the prize was to get a recipe in that cookbook. But you don't see Tom mentioning his resteraunts by name, or Padma's cookbook being mentioned.
But nearly every episode has had a story line about her product lines.

First it was the clothing line, and she introduced it to the trainers, and the little tiff with the new Gregg not liking it.

Then the DVD, and the "how can I do it in a month"

Then the Bars.

Next it will be the shakes and I would be shocked if the calender didn't get an honorable mention. Seriously enough is enough.

I am so frustrated..it seems that everyone associated with the show thinks we are all idiots....the fact that Lisa and Jackie were talking sh*t about a client period is disgustingly unprofessional at best. The fact that this particular client is a breast cancer survivor makes it even worse.

I know, that is frustrating me as well. The fact that she was a cancer survivor made it a hot botton issue. But it shouldn't matter if she was a cancer surviovor or a young women with implants b/c she wanted them. It was the owner of the gym participaing in making negative comments about a clients physical appearance.

So it's ok to make fun of Peeler's non cancer clients, or not women just men? NO. Bottom line, anyone employed in a gym dont' make fun of any of your clients bodies.

Honestly, although I agree with everyone about this. For the trainers this all happened MONTHS ago. I'm sure they have all moved on and are probably surprised at the hoopla surrounding (what is for them) old news. I'm also sure Bravo is love, love, LOVING all the hoopla. Nobody wants to produce a show that everyone ignores.

I'm not entirely sure that Bravo is loving all this negative attention or the fact that they lost Gatorade as a major sponsor. They do need to respond, however, to this very touchy issue created by Ms. Warner.

BTW, I had to laugh at this, if you log on the the skysport sight and go to skylab, one of the things you get at this for 6000 is a swag bag of Jackie's clothing line. They only go to XL, um what about plus size?

** I would agree, I don't think they are digging the attention, Bravo is so closely associated with Jackie Warner they are not enjoying seeing a TMZ post about this. Also the cost of going into the show and blurring out Propel had to hurt as well as lost ad revenue, add Soyjoy to the mix and suddenly you have account executives scrambling to make up the revenue. Also I would have to imagine this coming out the same week as the DVD is going to hurt sales.
Look at what happened with Tom Cruise after the couch jumping incident, it started to unravel and everyone started to run for the hills. If Tom Cruise can get hurt by public persecption, Jackie Warner certainly can.

It's only a matter of time before the supermarket tabloids will pick this up. Suddenly you will see "sources at Bravo or at skysport" telling their stories too.

It will give me an excuse to peak at them while in line. Anyone who starts writting the real story will get my money for the issue.

I watched last night ONLY to see if Propel and Gatorade held to their word on pulling their sponsorship. I have to say that everything I saw a blurred out Propel or Gatoraid bottle it felt like I was hugging bunnies. Shame on Tylenol for sponsoring them. If Tylenol is really interested in easing pain - they should have let this show be sponsor-less and go off of the air!

I have noticed that Bravo is not posting Blog comments .....last ones posted were yesterday afternoon. Hmmmm.

Some may consider us idiots, but I bet the producers of the program and the financial staff of Bravo have a different opinion. Remember it was Bravo's and Work Out's viewing public that informed the sponsors of the fiasco that occurred last week. I suspect Bravo will have a hard time to find new sponsors for the show.
