I liked all three of the final contestants and believe that the right person won considering the rules of the contest. Had this been a "body of work" contest, then the end result would have been very different indeed - and, perhaps, a little too boringly predictable.
I like that these Bravo game shows are based largely on how a contestant does on any given day. It makes them more exciting.
What I really liked about the Finale, though, was that all three of the contestants were such nice people on camera. They didn't seem to have any negative drama going on between them. In fact, Ben seemed genuinely excited for Anthony when he won. Contrast that with the Finales of Top Chef 2 and Top Design.
I don't have a dog in this fight since my favorite was eliminated a couple episodes ago. I really think the judges ranked the three correctly.
I do wish Daisy could have stayed out to partake in the celebration at the end, though. I recognize that it was better drama to leave just two people standing before the commercial break, but I wish they'd let her come back out with flowers for Anthony or something. I'm sure she would have been just as excited for him as Ben was.
Anyhow, after the icey nastiness of Top Design and the juvenile antics of Top Chef 2, it was refreshing to watch a show where the contestants were generally nice to each other - and (despite the fact that it meant the best hairstylist was eliminated) refreshing to see bitchiness and ego get eliminated instead of getting rewarded.
