Dang, all I can say is, the folks who got bent out of shape over the recent mini-spat here got nothin' to bark about, because you guys are knee deep in it over there! Can I just state for the record here.... that I think shag haircuts are fugly. And I think that the one judge has an unhealthy obsession with them. Who wants to look like Carol Brady? NOT ME!!!!!

Without even seeing the catwalk showing of the styles, Anthony should have this!! Daisey's was unfinished and Ben's styles were blah!! Let's see what happens!!

Daisy flopped, Antonys models were stiff and and the clothing was awful, Bens models rocked!! Both his cuts were great but that updo was BAAAAD

LOL! I like your perspective, Apaullo! I'm actually pretty fond of shag/pixie cuts myself, but maybe a lot of that is due to nostalgia. I have a pic of me in a shag/pixie cut from 2nd grade that I need to scan and post--it was from '73, and I don't mind saying, I think I looked pretty damn adorable--what happened since then, dang it all?! Aahh, those were the good 'ol days.

What a great show! As good at TC season one. I wish though they would've made a bigger deal about the finale like they do w/TC. Anthony deserved the win.

I hope Bravo does SG again before they ever do a TD...I mean it definately was a good segway but ultimately that show was awful!! I mean the outdoor lighting was terrible, the contestants were blah, and the judges just horid people. My ex wife is one of the top designers in the country, and she would've put any of them to shame.

TC is still my favorite, the show travels alot more, differnt restaurants each week, things like that. SG and TD were kinda clostrophobic at times.

How anti-climactic!! Why did they kick Daisy out like that?? Ben should not have been left to a respectable 2nd place with his updoo really falling down!! I'm so disappointed with this finale!! I agree Anthony deserved to win, but to have Ben at the end really disgusted me!!

Called it!!! That photo in WWD gave it away... IMO, Daisy was the best overall but Anthony's work was best in this particular challenge.

If I could have picked out the racks for clothes, I would have picked out those clothes for Ben....

Daisy's designer would have done well with Anthony too....but I think those two could have picked any of the three and done well.

Anthony's styles would have been better, but he was so limited by those idiot models!! If they didn't want their freakin' hair cut, why did they volunteer for this assignment?? I would have blown my stack dealing with those biatches!! I just can't believe it!! Not to mention Daisy's station not having power for her equipment!! Almost as bad as Top Design conditions!! What a killjoy ending to the season!! You deserved at least 2nd place babe; you were in the final 3 for almost every challenge!!

Some funny things:

Daisy's irons not plugged in.
Her client's hair was too damp before she pin curled the hair.
She dropped the hair color.

And Anthony must have cussed out Rene....too funny! I could understand Anthony on this, I hate to be razzed when under pressure.

And what was up with these gals who didn't want their hair cut? Did they not have to sign a waiver somewhere?

I love watching the finale the 2nd go round and before I hit the sack I just want to say "Shake your hair darlin' , shake your hair"! Nighty all!

spot on jc. funny the judges really found something good to say about ben's updo if that's what you want to call it...a grand stage would have been nice and def bigger bang to anthony's win. a shake up of the same ole scenery would have been good. but great job bravo on season one.

I cannot believe that Daisy, who did consistenly great work thoughout, got the proverbial "shaft" by the Shear Genius producers. Ben did not deserve a sip of that champagne...great guy, but really??? At the very LEAST, Daisy should have been runner-up. Honestly, Anthony lucked out today by playing it safe. We all saw him pulling up the bottom end a number of times. Bleghhhh i hate reality tv!!!!

Congrats to Anthony . He did a good job. I expected Daisy to do better but she is still a good stylish. I also like Ben, so congrats to all for making it to the final.

Anthony never answered the question of whether he was gay or straight on the Reunion show. I know he said he was avail and very single but he didn't answer the other question, lol. I would like to know. He is so handsome and seems so nice.

I am so happy that Anthony won tonight. He was my favorite from the beginning. I really don't understand how Ben made it to the final 3. He was a nice guy but just not good enough to make it to the final 3. Thats a fact!

Oh i get it!!! Daisy didn't win because she SHOULD have won. And that would make terrible reality TV! Apparently, the rational is not marketable.

yuck. daisy should have won. ben #2? hahahah! he sucks. he should have been kicked off on the second show. anthony is okay, but really, he was nothing you can't get at supercuts.

Vidal's "Shaking Of The Hair" is his trademark. His cuts are always done

so that no matter what is going on with the weather, or just the

occasion the hair looks good. His cuts made Precision Cuts a household

word at least for a while. I may be wrong however, I believe the phrase

"Shake your hair darling!!!!" or something like that was also his

trademark. This man is one of the most incredible hair guys who ever

lived. I believe Tyson thinks he is the new Vidal.

Ben was robbed, 100%. Daisy and Anthony are great stylists, and there is no doubt that Ben clawed his way into the top three through sheer determination and a load of luck, but the other two bombed *this competition*. That is what was supposed to be judged. Instead, it is impossible to believe that the judges withheld bias against Ben and his past mediocrity (although he got the shaft again in the hair art and the period-piece compitions).

1. Daisy was way too ambitious and over-reaching for the limits set for the final competition. Even if her equipment/blunders had gone over, she tried to do too much with too little. She easily deserved third for that alone. This in no way negates the amazing talent she otherwise displays. The artifical time limits are my biggest gripe regarding the show: a real stylist hears the request then determines how much time it will take, not the other way around.

2. Anthony created unimpressive looks for each of his models, including a bangs-do that was incredibly unflattering. The judges raved for the one cut with straight bangs, but it made that poor woman's face look bloated. It was a terrible cut for her shape and shame on the judges for saying otherwise. One of the criteria was that each cut stands out from the others, Anthony failed this miserably. Each cut looked too much like the next with absolutely no creative flair. The blonde 80's look was a shame as well.

3. Ben stretched a bit too far and left a up-do unfinished. That's it. His Kwan was great, even if it needed a higher edge in back (just like the others did, just not as much). His "every-woman" cut was subtle genius - a stylish cut nearly any woman could get, afford, and be happy with. All Ben needed to do was tighten up the rear of the -up-do.

So the one stylist with the greatest presentation lost - there's no way these three were judged solely on this final attempt alone. Ben pulled it out while the other two floundered. I guess I should have expected this from the same judges that picked that wreck-of-a-style treasure box in the first week.



edit: Vidal Sassoon was hands-down the most pleasant, enjoyable person on this show all season. Kudos to a guy whose confidence leads to pleasantness and generosity.
