Hello, IC! LTNS.

Well, they haven't dismantled the PR forum, and they haven't locked the PR threads. I agree, however, that not starting a new season subforum seems odd.

Perhaps they consider maintaining boards, dedicated links, etc. are for ensuring future seasons' viewership? Since PR is going elsewhere, Bravo may not be willing to invest in the resources.

Also, they may assume that people who care enough to post on a show's message board are loyal viewers and will return no matter what.

Now, about the important stuff... smile.gif

What do you think of Heidi wearing gladiator shoes for the show's opening? They usually keep the same opening bit for the entire season, no?

I think gladiator shoes are like crocs: they look good on no one, even Heidi Klum. They cut her legs off at the ankle, and look clunky (IMO).

Otherwise, the first show was great, except so many of the contestants don't seem to have as much potential as last season's.

Nice to see some familiar faces here!

Great to see you back and posting too, Amazon! Don't you go disappearing on us this time, k?

To be completely honest, I wasn't paying much attention to Heidi during the premiere, so I didn't focus much on her footwear. blush.gif I spent most of the epi trying to get some semblance of aesthetics from each of the designers, not to mention trying to put names to faces.

I'll be sure to pay attention to the opening this week, though. I'm not at all a fan of the croc, so I have to believe my thoughts on the gladiator shoe will be much the same as yours. I do at least see some functionality to wearing crocs in some situations, but what possible reason would you have to wear a gladiator shoe other than to create a major fashion faux pas? wacko.gif

You've all waited so patiently, and now it's back! "Project Runway" season 6 premieres on THURSDAY AUGUST 20!

What would you like to see on the show this season? What kinds of challenges do you think they'll have? Who will be the guest judges and celebrity surprise guests? What do you all think of the fifteen new designers? Any early favorites?

Discuss! biggrin.gif

While watching Shear Genius last night they had commercials for the new season of Project Runway - it starts July 16th.

Is anyone else worried about them running these seasons too close together? How do they manage to get them to show during New York Fashion Week when they are filming mid-year?

Looks like you have a pretty good project in front of you. I also think your pretty brave if your working on that car on jack stands that are positioned on the bare ground. You should at least get some steel plates for the stands to set on if you plan on working on it where you have it.
