THIS SEASON?







IT'S CALLED "QUIK BASTE" . . . and starts off each episode. Using only leftover fabric and accessories from previous seasons contestants are given 10 minutes to fabricate a complete outfit using a theme picked from Frau Seal's infamous black velvet bag. This week's assignment was "Flight 54, where are you!" The winning design was by Andy Chénier who modeled his own outfit and is pictured below.








When queried by Michael Kors about where the rest of his "flight" was Andy cited the recent ruling by the Homeland Security folks banning mass flights over the island of Manhattan.

NEWS FLASH !!!


An inside source at the TRESemme Company has reported that production on Season 5 has been temporarily "put on hold" while placard carrying contestants picket the Parsons Men's Room chanting "No cameras in here!" and "What happens here stays here!" Another unconfirmed rumor has also been circulating that a stocky middle aged male with an orange face was seen exiting the men's room shortly prior to the demonstration with his coat collar pulled up and a hat covering his face.

Did everyone see that the marathon is on this weekend? Seasons 2,3 & 4. Season 2 didn't impress me, all I can remember is the top 3.Choe, Santino and Daniel. Was there anyone else that was good?

Nick and Andre and Kara Janx would have made a fine top 3. Though Santino's final line was excellent, his work during the competition was often sub-par. Yet he remains a fave of mine for his creativity.

WOW, NOTE !

That picture of Santino makes him look like the love child of Rasputin and Czarina Aleksandra. (He must have borrowed Michael Kors' skin bronzer for that shoot as well.)

In that pose he could easily be mistaken for a model of a Russian Icon with the title, "Nolo Me Tangere!"

But River I thought the shoes were a brilliant choice... Celeste did sew those John Deere tractors out of corn husk as epilets after all.... I still can't belive Tony won for that brussel sprout frock... blink.gif

Personally I think our little Mozart over did it that Water Melon rind hat made his model look like a cone head thank God he was safe though... unsure.gif

So that's where that there boot was. Poor PSH worked himself into a perfect hissy-fit on the other thread wondering what had happened to it.

I SEE GERMANY, I SEE FRANCE . . .

I couldn't get over how skinny Tony's model was. When she did her little twirl to exit the runway her lollypops fell right off onto the floor. At least they were color coordinated to complement the brussel sprouts theme.

Nina is not being replaced. She is still a judge on Project Runway and now is being referred to as a "fashion expert" instead of fashion director from Elle Magazine. Nina now works at Marie Claire Magazine, and will be on the Lifetime version also, if and when...

I'm going to try a nice, soapy "lather-rinse-repeat" of the brain with a refreshing screening of Mr. Mike's Mondo Video, but somehow I don't think even that'll make my corneas virginal again.

I'm getting ready for my first ever GALLERY show of my Art work, and MOST IMPORTANT of all My eldest daughter's BAT MITZVAH!

So that's why I'm not posting as much, but I'm still watching!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it before but the press packages with bios are supposed to be in the hands of the media on Monday. Hopefully Bravo will post them to its website at the same time and perhaps even open up a new thread or two.

I cant believe the media is not getting a press kit until 2 days before the show airs. Bravo is blaming the late production time for the late press kits but Im not buying it. When you get a press kit,it states that anything contained in the kit can change before the shows airtime and the DVD they send is a very rough cut. So,the minute they had the designers info and the first show in the can,even without the final edit,they should have had the press kits ready to go.

IMO,the rumor that Bravo is doing so little promotion for the show so it will die before it hits LifeTime is looking pretty dead on right now.

And the show's moved to 9:00 eastern, right? So those of us with brain fade will tune in at 10:00 and miss the whole thing.
